Abstract

This research investigates the role of ethical guidelines, specifically the "Tata Krama" (code of conduct) in the Indonesian Advertising Ethics Code (Etika Pariwara Indonesia/EPI) as a protective instrument for consumer rights in the advertising industry. Employing a qualitative descriptive with literature analysis method (library research) which aims to study in depth the contents of the Indonesian Advertising Ethics Amendment 2020 document as the main source, particularly clauses under Article III concerning advertising content. The research highlights how ethical provisions on misleading information, exaggeration (hyperbolization), testimonials, and child-targeted advertising serve as safeguards for consumers. The findings suggest that the Tata Krama in EPI plays a crucial normative role, both in guiding industry conduct and as a self-regulatory framework that complements state regulations. This study contributes to media and advertising ethics education and provides a reference for future studies concerning media responsibility and consumer protection.

Abstract

Performance measurement and evaluation are essential components of modern organizational management that function to assess effectiveness, efficiency, accountability, and the achievement of strategic objectives. This article aims to conceptually examine the approaches, indicators, challenges, and practices in performance measurement and evaluation based on a literature review of the last ten years from various national sources. Using a literature study method, the findings reveal that performance evaluation approaches have shifted from output-oriented models to those focused on outcomes and impacts, utilizing frameworks such as the balanced scorecard, result-based management (RBM), and key performance indicators (KPIs). Although information technology has significantly strengthened evaluation systems, several challenges remain, including limited human resource competencies, irrelevant indicators, and organizational cultures that do not support transparency. Therefore, alignment between strategic planning, indicator development, human resource capacity building, and the use of evidence-based information systems is necessary to establish an effective and sustainable performance evaluation system.

Abstract

The rapid acceleration of digital transformation, spurred by the global pandemic and new economic demands, has placed the Indonesian banking sector at a critical juncture. Amidst this disruption, the Society 5.0 paradigm has emerged as a human-centric vision, proposing a deep integration of technology and society to enhance the quality of life. However, the success of this transformation hinges on its most vital asset: digital talent. A significant gap currently exists between the strategic capabilities of modern Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and the imperative to effectively manage digital talent in alignment with Society 5.0. This research aims to bridge this gap by developing a comprehensive conceptual framework, titled "Strategic Talent Alignment for a Resilient Human-centric Information System" (STAR-HRIS). Employing a systematic literature review, this study synthesizes findings from diverse sources, including academic journals, industry reports, and policy documents from regulatory bodies such as the Indonesian Financial Services Authority (OJK). The results present the STAR-HRIS framework, which is composed of three layers: (1) The Foundation of Governance & Digital Infrastructure, encompassing the technology stack, data governance, and digital ethics; (2) The Pillars of Intelligent Talent Management, which include intelligent talent acquisition, adaptive talent development, and dynamic, AI-powered engagement and retention; and (3) The Organizational Enablers, which highlight the crucial roles of digital leadership, an innovative culture, and change management. The discussion interprets how the STAR-HRIS framework can serve as a roadmap for banking leaders and HR practitioners in Indonesia to evolve their HRIS from an administrative system into a dynamic talent ecosystem. This framework not only offers a practical solution to the digital talent gap but also emphasizes the importance of ethical considerations in AI implementation, consistent with the human-centric philosophy of Society 5.0. This research contributes an actionable strategic model for aligning technology, people, and strategy to navigate the future of the banking sector.

Abstract

Background: Nutritional status in children is a critical indicator for assessing health and growth, making proper monitoring and intervention essential to prevent nutritional problems at an early age. Exclusive breastfeeding is a vital source of nutrition for infants, particularly during the first six months of life. It plays a significant role in supporting optimal growth and development while preventing nutritional issues such as malnutrition and stunting. This study aims to analyze the correlation between exclusive breastfeeding and the nutritional status of children aged 6-23 months at Kesambi Public Health Center, Cirebon City. Methods: This study used a cross-sectional design and a quantitative analytical observational method. The sample size was determined using the Slovin formula, resulting in 39 children aged 6-23 months from Kesambi Public Health Center. The Spearman rank test was used for analytical testing after conducting normality and linearity tests. Results: The majority of children aged 6-23 months had good nutritional status (32 children or 84.2%), while only 2 children (5.3%) were classified as overnourished. A strong correlation was found between exclusive breastfeeding and tparu nutritional status of children aged 6-23 months at Kesambi Public Health Center, with a p-value of 0.018 (<0.05) and a positive correlation coefficient of 0.0381. Conclusion: There is a significant correlation between exclusive breastfeeding and the nutritional status of children aged 6-23 months at Kesambi Public Health Center, Cirebon City.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of leadership style and the implementation of Living Core Values (LCV) AKHLAK culture on business performance at PT KPI RU V Balikpapan. This research employed a quantitative approach with a sample of 100 respondents. The data analysis methods included validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, regression analysis, coefficient of determination analysis, path analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study show that, partially, leadership style has a significant effect on business performance, with a t-value of 2.762 ( > t-table value of 1.985) and a p-value of 0.007 ( < 0.05). Likewise, the implementation of the LCV AKHLAK culture has a significant effect on business performance, with a t-value of 6.367 (> t-table value of 1.985) and a p-value of 0.000 ( < 0.05). Simultaneously, leadership style and the implementation of the LCV AKHLAK culture influence business performance, as indicated by an F-count value of 69.092 ( > F-table value of 3.09) and a p-value of 0.000 ( < 0.05). This is further supported by the coefficient of determination of 0.588, meaning that both variables explain 58.8% of the variance in business performance, while the remaining 41.2% is influenced by other factors not observed in this study. PT KPI RU V Balikpapan needs to integrate leadership development and the AKHLAK culture into its management strategies, as both factors significantly impact business performance. By strengthening these two aspects, it is expected that business performance can be further optimized.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of TikTok live streaming, price discounts, and celebrity endorsements on purchasing decisions for Skintific skincare products in Lamongan. In the fast-paced digital era, social media, particularly TikTok, plays a crucial role in influencing consumer decisions. This platform offers features such as live streaming, which has become an effective marketing tool, while price discounts and celebrity endorsements further enhance product image in the eyes of consumers. This research adopts a quantitative method with a descriptive approach, involving 155 respondents from the FEB UNISLA in Lamongan. The results indicate that all three factors—live streaming, price discounts, and celebrity endorsements—have a positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions. The multiple linear regression model reveals that price discounts have the greatest impact on purchasing decisions. This study provides valuable insights for companies to leverage social media, particularly TikTok, to optimize skincare product marketing through innovative promotional techniques.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of TikTok live streaming, discounts, and celebrity endorsements on skincare product purchasing decisions, with a case study on Skintific products in Lamongan. In today's digital era, marketing strategies through social media such as TikTok are increasingly developing, especially through interactive live streaming features, discounts as a consumer attraction, and celebrity endorsements that increase trust in products. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method with a data collection technique through a questionnaire distributed to 155 respondents, namely students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Lamongan Islamic University who know or have purchased Skintific products. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 21. The results showed that the three independent variables, namely TikTok live streaming, discounts, and celebrity endorsements, had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. This finding strengthens that social media-based digital marketing strategies can increase consumer interest and decisions in purchasing skincare products.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the differences in organizational culture between the public and private sectors in Indonesia. Organizational culture is a crucial aspect that influences work effectiveness, employee satisfaction, and the quality of organizational services and products. The study uses a comparative quantitative approach with a total of 120 respondents, consisting of 60 public sector employees and 60 private sector employees. Data collection was carried out using an organizational culture questionnaire developed based on the theories of Hofstede and Schein. The findings reveal significant differences in the dimensions of organizational culture between the two sectors. The public sector tends to emphasize hierarchy and clan dimensions, while the private sector shows dominance in market and adhocracy dimensions. These results indicate that the public sector prioritizes stability, procedural compliance, and organizational loyalty, while the private sector is more flexible, competitive, and innovation-oriented. These differences have implications for organizational effectiveness, particularly in terms of work efficiency, employee job satisfaction, and adaptability to external changes. Therefore, public sector institutions must undergo cultural reform to align with the demands of modern management and achieve responsive and adaptive governance

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of rental agreements and the legal protection provided to boarding house tenants, particularly in the context of oral agreements supported only by receipts. It also seeks to identify the challenges faced by tenants in such arrangements and the mechanisms available for resolving disputes and compensating losses. The research method employed in this thesis is empirical legal research, also known as sociological legal research or field research, which analyzes both the existing legal norms and their actual application in society. The findings reveal that lease agreements between boarding house owners and tenants are generally implemented in good faith; however, when disputes arise—particularly when one party suffers losses—the aggrieved party has the right to seek remedies such as specific performance, compensation for breach of contract, or even annulment of the agreement with restitution. Conflict resolution in cases of oral lease agreements is commonly conducted through non-litigation methods, particularly mediation or negotiation, reflecting the mutual intention of both parties to resolve issues amicably. Regarding oral lease agreements, termination by the lessor must follow customary practices by providing prior notice to the lessee. Furthermore, Articles 1709 and 1710 of the Indonesian Civil Code hold the landlord accountable for the loss of tenant belongings within the rented premises. However, specific legal regulations governing boarding house leases are not yet clearly defined in the Civil Code, highlighting the need for more tailored legal provisions.

Abstract

This study aims to measure carbon reserves in horticultural plants planted on former tin mining land and compared with horticultural plants on non-mining land in Belinyu District, Bangka Regency. The time and place of this study were carried out from February 2023 to July 2023 in Gunung Pelawan Village, Bukit Ketok Village, Bangka Regency. The research method used was the purposive sampling method. The analysis method used percentage analysis. The results of the study showed that the carbon reserve content of plants plantedon former tin mining land was lower as an adaptation to former tin mining land that experienced drought stress and high light intensity but was not significantly different from plants planted on non-tin mining land. This is thought to be because the care given to plants on former tin mining land was quite good. Future research can be carried out by combining morphological, anatomical and physiological observations, as well as analysis of carbon reserve content in horticultural plants as a response to the former tin mining land environment.
