Abstract

The Muslim fashion industry in Indonesia has grown rapidly, particularly in Bandung, which has become a hub for local hijab brands. However, Umaya Hijab Store faces challenges such as intense competition, fluctuating demand, and declining sales, making consumer retention a concern. This study aims to examine the influence of price and lifestyle on consumer purchasing decisions at Umaya Hijab Store Bandung. A quantitative method with descriptive and verification analysis was applied. The sample consisted of 88 respondents selected through purposive sampling, namely consumers who had purchased at the store. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination (R²) with SPSS software. The findings reveal that price has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions (p = 0.007 < 0.05), and lifestyle also has a positive and significant effect (p = 0.000 < 0.05). Simultaneously, both variables significantly influence purchasing decisions (p = 0.000) with an R² value of 60.7%. This study highlights the importance of competitive pricing strategies and understanding consumer lifestyles to strengthen purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of the Job Creation Law on its impact on termination of employment due to company efficiency and how the rights of workers who experience termination of employment on company efficiency after the implementation of the Job Creation Law. The method used in this study is normative research, namely research whose main object of study is statutory regulatory documents and library materials. The impact of the Job Creation Law on termination of employment on company efficiency is a change between Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower and Law Number 6 of 2023 concerning Job Creation in terms of termination of employment by the company, employers are required to provide severance pay, long service awards and replacement rights. The aim of efficiency is to prevent losses or companies from experiencing company losses. However, on the other hand, the rights of workers who are laid off on the grounds of company efficiency have certainly changed and there are fewer provisions for calculating severance pay which only leaves 0.5 Provisions. In preventing termination of employment, a dialogue must first be conducted to establish a perception of the efficiency plan as employers strive to prevent layoffs. Termination of employment is the last step taken by employers if no agreement is reached in the dialogue between Workers, Labor Unions and Employers.

Abstract

The PBSI Association of Jambi Province has referees from various districts across Jambi who are actively involved in officiating matches at both provincial and national levels. Through this system, badminton referees in Jambi are organized into one forum to develop their skills, achieving accomplishments through a long process. During this formation process, several influencing factors have been identified. The referees’ mental condition while officiating—whether at the amateur or professional level—often experiences issues such as nervousness, anxiety, and even loss of concentration when making decisions. Various phenomena may occur during badminton matches in Indonesia, at both amateur and professional levels, in which referees often become central figures in controversial decisions. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of anxiety experienced by badminton referees before and during officiating matches in Jambi Province. This research employed a quantitative descriptive method. The sample consisted of 25 badminton referees, comprising 20 men and 5 women. The results showed that the level of anxiety among badminton referees before and during matches in Jambi Province fell into the “very good” category for 1 respondent (4%), the “good” category for 14 respondents (56%), and the “moderate” category for 10 respondents (40%). For intrinsic indicators, 1 referee (4%) was in the “very good” category, 19 (76%) in the “good” category, and 5 (20%) in the “moderate” category. For extrinsic indicators, 8 referees (32%) were in the “good” category, 15 (60%) in the “moderate” category, and 2 (8%) in the “low” category. The conclusion of this research is that the anxiety level of badminton referees before and during officiating matches in Jambi Province is generally in the “good” category, with 56% of respondents falling into this group.

Abstract

The capital market serves a pivotal function in the economy by facilitating the acquisition of long-term capital and acting as a mechanism for financial intermediation.  Investment operations in the capital market are susceptible to many hazards, including fraudulent tactics, price manipulation, and insider trading, which can adversely affect investors.  Consequently, regulatory safeguards for investors are essential for preserving public confidence and ensuring the viability of a robust capital market.  This study intends to examine the legal protections delineated in Law Number 8 of 1995 regarding Capital Markets (UUPM) and evaluate the efficacy of its implementation.  The research employs a normative legal methodology utilising statutory, conceptual, case-based, and comparative approaches.  The findings demonstrate that legal protection inside the UUPM is enforced via two primary pillars. The preventive pillar is realized through the principle of disclosure, both in prospectuses and in periodic and incidental reports, to reduce information asymmetry. The repressive pillar is enforced through prohibitions on fraud, market manipulation, and insider trading, supported by administrative, criminal, and civil sanctions. The combination of these two pillars creates a balance between prevention and enforcement, thereby fostering an orderly, fair, and efficient capital market. Nevertheless, the effectiveness of legal protection is highly dependent on implementation quality, particularly regarding the standards of materiality and timeliness of disclosure, the speed and certainty of law enforcement, as well as the integrity of corporate governance and supporting professions. Hence, strengthening supervision, improving investor education, and updating regulations to adapt to technological developments and market dynamics are essential to achieve sustainable investor protection.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategic role of accounting information systems (AIS) in improving Bank Mandiri Taspen's operational efficiency, focusing on publicly available data. Using literature review and secondary data analysis, this study analyzes the contribution of AIS to bank performance. The results indicate that AIS implementation, particularly with the New Core Banking System (NCBS) and supporting applications such as ANDAL (General Accounting Report), significantly contributes to operational efficiency. This finding is supported by the trend of an improving Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO) ratio in the bank's financial statements. AIS facilitates business process automation, strengthens internal controls, and provides real-time information critical for decision-making. Overall, this study concludes that AIS is not simply a recording tool, but a key driver of efficiency and a foundation for sustainable growth at Bank Mandiri Taspen.

Abstract

Sana Daja Village, Pasean District, Pamekasan Regency, is known for its abundant coconut potential, but its use is still limited to the sale of raw coconuts with low economic value. In addition, many family medicinal plants (TOGA) grow naturally, but have not been optimally managed. The Community Service Program (PkM) aims to optimize coconut derivative products into nata de coco and cultivate TOGA to be processed into instant herbal medicine. This activity was carried out from August 26 – September 24, 2025 with three main stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the activity showed: (1) The training on making nata de coco was attended by 35 PKK women, with 85% of participants able to produce high-quality nata de coco and understand its market potential; (2) TOGA cultivation training and instant herbal medicine processing involved 30 residents, where 90% of participants succeeded in making instant herbal medicine from ginger, turmeric, and temulawak with simple packaging; (3) Post-test showed that 88% of participants understood the economic benefits of coconut derivative products and TOGA, although 12% still needed further assistance for marketing. This program is expected to improve the economic welfare of the community through the use of local resources.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of blockchain technology in enhancing the efficiency and security of business transactions. Blockchain, as a decentralized, transparent, and immutable digital ledger system, provides solutions to various weaknesses of conventional systems, such as high transaction costs, operational inefficiencies, and risks of data manipulation. The research method employed is a literature review that examines scientific publications, articles, and reports on blockchain implementation in business sectors, particularly banking and accounting. The findings indicate that blockchain adoption can reduce transaction costs and processing time, improve transparency, and strengthen data integrity through consensus mechanisms and smart contracts. Moreover, blockchain has the potential to create new, accountable, and trustworthy business ecosystems. However, challenges related to regulation, technological adoption, and vulnerabilities to certain types of attacks remain to be addressed. Overall, blockchain significantly contributes to achieving efficiency and security in business transactions in the digital era.

Abstract

The advancement of information and communication technology has encouraged the rapid growth of the e-commerce sector in Indonesia, enabling efficient buying and selling transactions without space and time restrictions. However, behind the convenience, there is a serious problem related to the protection of consumer personal data. Sensitive data such as name, address, phone number, account information, to shopping preferences are collected by business actors and at risk of being misused, either through leaks, identity forgery, or digital fraud. This research aims to examine the legal regulations regarding the protection of consumer personal data in e-commerce transactions in Indonesia and analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of applicable regulations, especially Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions (UU ITE) and Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection (UU PDP). The research results show that although national regulations have adopted the principles of personal data protection quite comprehensively, such as the principle of transparency, restriction of purpose, and accountability, the implementation is still not optimal. Hindering factors include weak law enforcement, lack of supervision by related authorities, and low consumer awareness of their rights.Concrete steps are needed to strengthen the effectiveness of regulation, including the establishment of an independent supervisory agency in accordance with the mandate of the PDP Law, increasing the compliance of business actors to data protection standards, as well as the provision of a complaint mechanism that is easily accessible to the public. Thus, legal protection of consumer personal data is not only a written norm, but can be materialized substantively in creating a safe, fair, and reliable e-commerce ecosystem.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of auditor quality and company operational complexity on audit delay in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange post-pandemic. Audit delay is defined as the time interval between the fiscal year closing date and the audit report date. The population in this study included manufacturing companies listed on the IDX for the 2020–2022 period, using a purposive sampling method. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that auditor quality has a significant negative effect on audit delay, while company operational complexity has a significant positive effect. These findings emphasize the importance of auditor quality and controlling operational complexity in accelerating the financial reporting process in the post-pandemic era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the physical condition of 15-year-old soccer players at SSB Bocah Junior Tanjung Jabung Barat. The physical condition of players is crucial to team success, especially at the adolescent age, which is an important phase in the development of both physical and technical skills. This research uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach to evaluate the players' speed, agility, and anaerobic endurance (VO₂Max). The results show that most players' physical conditions need improvement, particularly in speed and endurance. Only a few players demonstrate good physical condition, while the majority fall into the less optimal categories in speed and endurance tests. The study suggests the need for a more structured training program to improve the less optimal physical components, especially anaerobic endurance and speed.
