Abstract

The increasing number of wives who pursue professional careers has become an interesting social phenomenon to study, particularly within the context of Muslim families. In Islam, women hold an honorable position and are permitted to work as long as they adhere to religious norms and do not neglect their household responsibilities. This study aims to analyze the role of wives as career women in fulfilling their rights and obligations to realize a sakinah (harmonious and peaceful) family in Sukolilo Village, Wajak District, Malang Regency. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that wives who work in Sukolilo Village are generally able to balance their dual roles between career and domestic responsibilities. The main factors encouraging them to work include economic necessity, social interaction, and self-actualization. Their careers contribute positively to family welfare, mutual respect between spouses, and serve as a role model for their children. However, some negative impacts such as physical exhaustion and reduced family time may occur if time management and communication are not well maintained. Efforts to achieve a sakinah family are carried out through fair division of roles, open communication, disciplined time management, and the strengthening of spiritual values within the household.

Abstract

Dental caries is tissue damage on the surface of the teeth. This tissue damage is usualy characterized by the disappearance of the hard tissue structure on the teeth due to acid deposits made by plaque bacteria that accumulate high on the surface of the teeth. Dental caries is a problem that often occurs among the community,especially in elementary school age children. Dental caries can be caused by negligence in maintaining oral and dental caries. To determine the relationship of teeth brushing compliance with rate of caries incident in class IV and V student at SDS Pelangi. This study uses quantitative research methods with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique researchers in determining respondents is the total sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is the chi square test. This study showed a relationship of tooth brushing compliance with rate of caries incident in class IV dan V students at SDS Pelangi Medan with a p value = <,001 or p < 0,005. Based on the research conducted, there is significant relathionship of tooth brushing compliance with rate of caries incident in class IV dan V students at SDS Pelangi Medan. With this research, it is hoped that future researchers will develop this research using different methods such as experiments or qualitative ones.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of financial ratios of PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk after the acquisition during the 2020-2024 period. The ratios examined include the Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Total Asset Turnover (TATO), and Return on Assets (ROA), using a descriptive quantitative approach. Data were obtained from the company's financial statements and analyzed to observe the trend of each ratio over five years. The results indicate that the Current Ratio fluctuated and tended to decline in the final year. The Debt to Equity Ratio decreased in several periods, yet the company remained dependent on debt. The Total Asset Turnover improved toward the end of the period, although asset utilization had not reached an optimal level. The Return on Assets showed a gradual increase, indicating better asset efficiency These findings suggest that the company needs to strengthen current asset management, enhance asset utilization efficiency, and maintain a balanced capital structure between equity and debt to maximize the positive impact of the acquisition. This study provides an academic contribution as empirical evidence that the acquisition influences changes in the company’s financial ratios during the post-acquisition period.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of inflation, interest rates, and global oil prices on the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) in Indonesia from January 2019 to December 2024. This study uses two analytical methods: the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model to analyze short-term and long-term relationships, and the Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroskedasticity (GARCH) model to measure JCI volatility. The results of the ARDL analysis indicate that in the short term, only inflation and interest rates have a significant effect. In the long term, inflation has a negative effect, while interest rates and global oil prices have a positive effect on the JCI. The GARCH analysis indicates that the JCI experienced high volatility during the study period, primarily due to fluctuations in oil prices and changes in interest rates.

Abstract

Vernal keratoconjunctivitis (VKC) is an allergic eye disease characterized by chronic, bilateral inflammation, most often involving the upper tarsal conjunctiva. VKC is more common in young patients, males, and those in tropical regions. Patients with VKC often present with symptoms of severe itching, redness, and watery eyes. This case report describes a 10-year-old boy who presented with complaints of red and swollen eyes for the past week. The patient also reported pain and glare when exposed to light. He felt extremely itchy, often rubbing his eyes. Anterior segment examination revealed hyperemia in both eyes, ciliary and conjunctival injection, cobblestone lesions on the superior tarsal conjunctiva, and transtas dots in both eyes. The patient was treated with prednisone eye drops (4 x 1 drop ODS), levofloxacin antibiotic eye drops (6 x 1 drop ODS), and sodium chloride + potassium chloride eye drops (6 x 1 drop ODS).

Abstract

This research aims to develop an automated bottle filling and sorting system based on the TCS3200 color sensor, ESP32, and PLC. The system is designed to detect the label color of the bottle to determine the type of liquid to be filled either orange or lychee flavored drink and to automatically sort the bottles into the appropriate lanes. The automation process includes proximity sensors for bottle detection, a motor pump for liquid filling, and servo motors for sorting. Test results show that the system accurately detects colors and performs filling and sorting processes effectively, with a success rate of over 90%. However, some issues occurred in the capping and sorting stages due to mechanical or communication errors. This study demonstrates that the integration of ESP32, PLC, and color sensors offers an efficient and accurate solution for drink bottle production processes.

Abstract

Background: Medication error is any preventable event, that in inappropriate medication use (harm to the patient) when the medication is under the control of the health care professional, patient, or consumer. The classification of medication errors includes prescribing errors, dispensing errors, medication preparation errors, administration errors, and monitoring errors. High-alert drugs are drugs that have a high risk of causing major harm to patients if not used appropriately. High-alert drugs are several drugs that can harm patients if the drug is used incorrectly. The general principles for handling high-alert drugs are storage, prescribing, drug preparation/distribution, and drug administration. The most effective treatment for high-alert drugs is by reducing errors in administering high-alert drugs. To monitor high-alert drugs, "high alert" must be given. Method: This research uses quantitative research methods using a correlational design. Sampling used the Slovin formula with a total sample of 138 respondents, sampling from the population using proportional random sampling techniques. The research instrument used was a questionnaire sheet. The data analysis used was Spearman's rho test. Results: The results of the study show that there is a relationship between the application of alertness towards high-alert drugs and the incidence of medication errors at Murni Teguh Memorial Hospital. The Spearman's rho test shows a p-value of 0.001 (<0.05). Conclusion: There is a relationship between the implementation of high-alert medication awareness and the incidence of medication errors at Murni Teguh Memorial Hospital.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the income of market traders at Talang Banjar Market, Jambi City, and to formulate income improvement strategies through SWOT analysis. The research employed a quantitative method with data collected through questionnaires and interviews with market traders. The data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis with the assistance of Eviews software, as well as SWOT analysis to formulate business development strategies. The results of the study show that the variables of capital, labor, and working hours have a significant effect on traders’ income, while the type of merchandise has no significant effect. Based on the SWOT analysis, the position of traders at Talang Banjar Market is located in Quadrant I, which indicates that the appropriate strategy to apply is an aggressive (S-O) strategy. This strategy emphasizes the utilization of internal strengths—such as product quality, competitive pricing, and customer service—to seize external opportunities, including government policies and broad market potential.

Abstract

Background: Social problems arise due to changes in the social values of society which have an impact on the elderly who receive less attention so that they are neglected in society.Economic problems arise in the elderly when entering retirement or quitting their main job due to decreased work efficiency, resulting in a lack of income related to meeting daily needs.Lower levels of depression in individuals with higher socioeconomic status, better self-reported health, greater social capital, and greater functional independence, doing physical activity is also thought to prevent depression.Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between social status and the level of depression in the elderly in RW 03 Ling.II Kelurahan Aek Nauli Kota Pematangsiantar.Methods: This study uses a quantitative method using a correlational design. Sampling using total sampling with a sample size of 60 respondents, the research instrument used is a questionnaire sheet.The data analysis used was spearman correlation.Results: The results showed that there was a relationship between social status and depression level with a p-value = 0.038 (a <0.05).Conslution: there is a relationship between social status and the level of depression in RW 03 Ling.II Kelurahan Aek Nauli Kota Pematangsiantar. It is recommended that future researchers can further develop the results of this research by adding variables such as quality of life.

Abstract

Pasar modal memiliki fungsi penting dalam sistem perekonomian nasional sebagai wadah penghimpunan dana masyarakat untuk pembiayaan investasi jangka panjang yang mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi. Penelitian ini membahas secara komprehensif peran pasar modal dan proses penawaran umum perdana (Initial Public Offering/IPO) PT Bukalapak.com Tbk, serta dampaknya terhadap struktur modal, kinerja keuangan, dan tata kelola perusahaan. Sebelum melaksanakan IPO, Bukalapak memperoleh pembiayaan eksternal melalui modal ventura dari investor besar seperti GIC, Microsoft, dan Emtek Group. Dukungan pendanaan tersebut memungkinkan perusahaan memperkuat infrastruktur teknologi dan memperluas jaringan mitra UMKM di Indonesia. IPO Bukalapak yang dilaksanakan pada 6 Agustus 2021 berhasil menghimpun dana sebesar Rp21,9 triliun, menjadikannya salah satu IPO terbesar dalam sejarah pasar modal Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa IPO berpengaruh positif terhadap likuiditas dan solvabilitas perusahaan, meningkatkan kemampuan memenuhi kewajiban keuangan serta memperkuat struktur modal. Namun, rasio profitabilitas perusahaan belum menunjukkan kenaikan signifikan karena dana hasil IPO masih difokuskan pada pengembangan jangka panjang dan investasi digital. Selain itu, perubahan struktur kepemilikan pasca-IPO mendorong penerapan prinsip Good Corporate Governance (GCG), transparansi, dan akuntabilitas yang lebih tinggi. Dengan demikian, IPO tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana penghimpunan dana publik, tetapi juga menjadi momentum strategis transformasi Bukalapak menuju perusahaan publik yang profesional, efisien, dan berorientasi pada pertumbuhan berkelanjutan di pasar modal Indonesia.
