Abstract

This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 3 Tolitoli, Baolan District, Baru Village, Tolitoli Regency. The purpose of this research is to know the role of teachers in the learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic, know the role of parents in the learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic, and know the interaction of the role of teachers and parents in improving the learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic. The subjects of this study were 2 Geography Subject Teachers, 2 Parents, and 2 Students. Collecting data using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the teacher's role in the learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic was to prepare material and learning evaluation results, have a responsibility to ensure the safety or health of students by providing active reinforcement and providing understanding to students to comply with all health protocols, prioritizing facilitation of learning. students, providing emotional support for students, parents, and also families, and communicating and collaborating with school principals, parents/families of students to support the learning process. In addition, there are also teachers who monitor students either via WA chat or meet directly with parents in the learning process for children during the Covid-19 pandemic, which has helped provide internet quota for children to use when learning online. There are parents who try to control the child and help the child in completing the tasks from the teacher, this is done so that the child can continue to study regularly and be more enthusiastic. Parents and teachers have interacted well to help the learning process for children during the Covid-19 pandemic, teachers or parents help each other in carrying out their roles to create conducive learning so that children can be even more active in learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This research aims at determining the influence of the Adiwiyata program on environmental care attitudes in SMA Negeri 3 Palu. This research used a quantitative method. The research subjects were the grade XI IIS students of SMA Negeri 3 Palu. The data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The data were analyzed using the product-moment correlation method and the T-test was used to determine the influence of the Adiwiyata Program on the students. Based on the results of t-test statistical calculations using the Paired t-test formula in which the influence of the Adiwiyata program variable as (X) and the students' environmental care attitude as (Y) show that the value of t-counted is 25.430. So, it is clear that t-tcounted> t-table (25,430> 2,045). Based on the guidelines described in the previous chapter, namely if t-counted> -t-table at the 95% confidence level or α = 0.05, then the hypothesis H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, so it is proven that the Adiwiyata program (X) gives a significant influence on the students' environmental care (Y). learning, such as smartphone and network coverage.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the factors that cause children to drop out of high school/equivalent in Palolo District, Sigi Regency. The method used is qualitative, with 21 research subjects. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews, and documentation. The research instrument used is interview guidelines. The data analysis used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that; The results of the study can be concluded as follows: Factors in children come from themselves, namely the child's lack of interest in going to school or continuing school. Children in compulsory education age should be eager to seek knowledge but because they have been affected by an unfavorable environment for the development of children's education, children's interest in going to school does not receive proper attention, as for what causes children to be less interested in going to school: attention from parents, especially about education, also because of the lack of educated people so that most of the people who did not go to school affect children so that children's interest in school is very less. The economic condition of parents, and the low economy parents can affect their children's education, and the inability of parents to meet the educational needs of their children will have an impact on the continuity of children's education. So the economic hardship factor should not be a reason to despair. The environmental condition where the child lives is one of the factors that influence the occurrence of learning/educational activities and processes.

Abstract

Research on the Impact of the Statue of the Lord Jesus Statue Tourism on the socio-economic life of the communities around Burake Hill in Makale District of Tana Toraja Regency. The research method used was the descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were done through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this research indicate that the socio-economic conditions of the community with the existence of tourism that is the community initially only worked as Construction laborers, housewives, farmers, and even some who do not have jobs or are unemployed. The existence of tourism objects provides a huge opportunity for the community to jump into the tourism sector, some of them work as tourist object managers (levies collectors), Parking Officers, and some work as sellers/traders, then they automatically get income. Income generated is that if a tourist attraction is crowded, the community income is around IDR. 200,000 - IDR. 600,000 and if the tourism is empty, the community's income is around IDR. 100,000 – IDR. 300,000. The tourism of the statue of the Lord Jesus had an impact on the socio-economic conditions of the communities around Burake Hill such as opening up employment opportunities, increasing the income of the community and also the government, and the impact on development.

Abstract

The study in this research raises the problem of 1) How to plan learning using a scientific approach in learning geography in class X SMA Negeri 6 Sigi, Palolo District, Sigi Regency, 2) How to implement a scientific approach in geography learning in class X SMA Negeri 6 Sigi, Palolo District, District Sigi, 3) What are the inhibiting factors for the implementation of the scientific approach in geography learning in class X SMA Negeri 6 Sigi, Palolo District, Sigi Regency. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The targets of the research were deputy principals in curriculum areas, Geography teachers, and students of class X. Data analysis was carried out in three stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research (1) The learning process with a scientific approach is in accordance with the demands of the 2013 curriculum. (2) Implementation of learning using a scientific approach. (3) The implementation inhibiting factors faced by teachers where students do not have the same ability or potential as other students in receiving learning material is a challenge for teachers to be able to properly implement the scientific approach.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of integrated social studies learning after the Covid-19 pandemic at MTs Al-Khairaat Pandere. The informants in this study were 5 people, namely the principal, social studies teacher and 3 students of class VIII. Data collection techniques include three stages, including observation, interviews with informants and documentation Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the learning method used to increase the effectiveness of student learning works by adjusting class hours and using the quiz method to increase student interest. While the increase in student interest and motivation can be seen from the enthusiasm of students in accepting the learning process. There is an increase in student interest and motivation affecting the final grades of students who increase. This relates to student learning completeness where the average value of students who were previously 78 during the online learning process became 86 with the lowest score obtained by students 74.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of parents in guiding at home online learning for class X IPS students at SMA Negeri 1 Sindue during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is qualitative using a descriptive approach. The research subjects were 10 students of class X. IPS and parents of students consisting of 10 people as key informants. Methods of data collection using observation, interviews, and documentation. data analysis techniques in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the role of parents in encouraging children to study at home is very important during a pandemic where learning is carried out online. Parental involvement in encouraging children's learning enthusiasm must be increased. booster or motivator, namely to foster children's enthusiasm for learning during the online learning period so that children continue to want to study even at home. student learning motivation is very important, there is encouragement from parents in online learning that has been going well, despite the various difficulties and obstacles faced by parents in online learning, namely expensive quotas, not being able to fully accompany their children, not understanding the material, and not having the ability to operationalize smartphones.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain and identify the obstacles encountered in identifying online learning in geography during the COVID-19 pandemic at SMA Negeri 1 Dampal Utara, Toli-Toli Regency. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The subjects of this study were 2 geography teachers and students. The types of data to be used in this study used primary data and secondary data. The data analysis technique has three steps, namely: data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results of this study are 1) Identification of online learning has been carried out quite well. Teachers and students use Whatsapp even though learning is done online the teacher continues to plan lessons by making lesson plans online. In addition WhatsApp is used to share information related to learning. 2) Identification of teacher learning using media in the form of video, aims to make it easier for students to understand the material. In addition, the method used by the teacher is adjusted to the characteristics of the students, the teacher uses the lecture method, the assignment method. 3) the obstacles faced by teachers regarding learning videos, because they have to match the material to be taught, and the teacher's constraints regarding insufficient cellphone memory. After providing the video, does the student see it or ignore it and that is also an obstacle for a teacher who cannot monitor his students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the teacher's creativity in cultivating student interest in learning and knowing the factors that influence students' interest in learning Geography. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with 1 geography teacher as the subject of the research. Data collection techniques with observation, interviews and documentation. data analysis used is interactive model data analysis. The research results show that; 1) Forms of teacher creativity, various kinds of creativity are carried out when teaching, by providing entertainment such as humor and quizzes, using teaching aids, learning outside the classroom or to places that are appropriate to the ongoing material, just around the school environment or locations outside the school that are affordable. 2) Student interest in geography subjects with a fairly good student interest in learning. So, the material taught by the teacher is easy to understand. Students become easy and can remember it. Students' sense of interest can generate feelings and attitudes, both feelings of pleasure, feelings of interest, attitudes that are full of attention, and carry out a positive attitude. 3) The causes of factors that affect students' interest in learning both internal factors, namely; students are easily influenced from the health aspect and student concentration in learning that is less supportive of the individual in learning readiness at school. External factors are family factors, and school factors as well as social factors among friends at school in the community.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to describe and determine the welfare of the residents of Fatufia Village, Bahodopi District, Morowali Regency (Case Study of Indigenous and Migrant Populations). This type of qualitative research uses a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques performed were data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the study show that: 1) Welfare from the economic condition factor of the residents in Fatufia Village can be said to be quite prosperous because they have an income of IDR 3,000,000 to IDR 7,000,000 in one month. Meanwhile, expenses in one month can be fulfilled. Welfare from the conditions of residence for residents in Fatufia Village for the original occupation and occupation can be said to be quite good. 3) The welfare of the community can be measured by the condition of the facilities where the residents in Fatufia Village live, both natives and immigrants are quite good. 4) For the factor of increasing the social welfare of the residents of Fatufia Village, on average they work for companies located in Fatufia Village, so it can be said that they are already good. So the welfare of the people in Fatufia Village, both natives and immigrants, is quite good and quite prosperous.
