Abstract

Kota Padang merupakan zona sub-duksi lempeng Hindia-Australia dan Eurasia, 200 Km dari tepi pantai barat Kota Padang, gempa di Kota Padang berkaitan dengan gempa tektonik, vulkanik dan bencana lainnya. Pendidikan geografi berperan di ranah afektif (sikap) dan tindakan peserta didik lebih diutamakan dalam mengupayakan kebencanaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan sikap peserta didik dalam memahami mitigasi bencana gempa bumi dan longsor di Kota Padang. Serta peranan pembelajaran geografi pada mitigasi bencana gempa bumi dan longsor di Kota Padang. Menggunakan penelitian survei di SMA Negeri atau Swasta di Kota Padang. Sampel Penelitian dilakukan di 11 sekolah SMA Negeri dan Swasta di Kota Padang, dengan teknik random sampling. Pengolahannya dilakukan dengan cara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini bahwa peranan pembelajaran geografi dalam pembentukan sikap peserta didik terhadap mitigasi bencana tidak terlalu berpengaruh. artinya jika peserta didik benar-benar mengetahui dan memahami pembelajaran yang diberikan guru maka akan membentuk sikap peserta didik. Dari angket yang disebarkan ternyata peserta didik cenderung masih dalam kategori ragu pada pembelajaran mitigasi bencana. Kesimpulannya Peranan pembelajaran geografi pada mitigasi bencana masih cenderung kategori ragu dalam pembentukan sikap peserta didik dalam meminimalisir bencana, dan melatih sikap dan tindakan peserta didik ketika sebelum dan setelah terjadinya bencana gempa bumi dan longsor. Kata kunci: pembelajaran geografi, mitigasi bencana, sikap.

Abstract

Padang are subduction plate zone between Hindia-Austalia and Eurasia, its about 200 km from west off the coast of Padang. This condition makes Padang on high risk on dealing natural disaster issue such as earthquake which triggered landslide that cuts road in Padang and create chaos for people around. Geography are needed for student to acknowledged the things that happen before and after disaster and called disaster mitigation to create human behavior when such disaster happen around them, especially for student. Research conducted in public and private high school in Padang. Samples takes 11 schools picked randomly using random sampling. Research being process using descriptive research. And the results are students in Padang did not aware the importance of learning about mitigation disaster for now. It means with a lot of things happens, students didn’t prepare their self in order to prevent any huge damage of disaster due to lack of information about it. When questioner being spread around the student it was found out that they feel hesitant on behavior during mitigation disaster. Therefore it is really important for teacher to inform, teach, train and create student’s behavior to minimizing any risk before, during and after earthquake and landslide happens.

Abstract

This paper aims to (1) Describe the form of cooperation between transmigrants and local communities in Ketong Village; (2) Describe the form of accommodation between transmigrants and local communities in Ketong Village, and; (3) Describe the form of assimilation between transmigrants and local communities in Ketong Village. This research is descriptive and qualitative. Data collection techniques consisted of observation, interviews, documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the writing are (1) The form of cooperation between transmigrants and local communities in Ketong Village is spontaneous cooperation, namely helping each other when grieving, direct cooperation, namely cooperation when there is an instruction from the village head, and traditional cooperation, namely cooperation when welcoming guests, cooperation during celebrations, and kumpulan / cooperation in the agricultural sector. (2) The form of accommodation between transmigrants and local communities in Ketong Village is tolerance, namely, respect for cultural differences, and visiting each other during holidays. (3) The form of assimilation between transmigrants and local communities in Ketong Village is assimilation in the field of agricultural crops and marriage

Abstract

Nosemparaka Manu is a tradition practiced by pregnant Women whose womb has reached seven months and this tradition is carried out by people from Kaili tribe. The existence of the Nosemparaka Manu tradition in these increasingly advanced times is a manifestation of the community's exception (the Kaili tribe) in maintaining ancestral beliefs or traditions. This research was conducted in Wombo Village, Tanantovea District, Donggala Regency. The purpose of this research is to find out the existence or existence of the Nosemparaka Manu tradition in Wombo Village. This study uses a survey method with qualitative data analysis. The population in this study is the entire community (Kaili tribe) of Wombo Village and the samples used or taken are ten people using purposive sampling technique (intentionally). Data collection techniques used are the method of observation, interviews, literature studies, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the existence or existence of the Nosemparaka Manu tradition in the village of Wombo is progressing at a time of decline or decline and may even disappear in the next ten or five years. This is caused by the community's more medical trust (rational matters), many teenagers who do not know and are ignorant, sando or shamans are old and there is only one person, and no one wants to continue the mandate or knowledge.

Abstract

The earthquake, tsunami and liquefaction incident on 28 September 2018 caused huge casualties. This research is a type of R&D research by following the ADDIE development up to stage 5, analysis, design, develop, implementation, and evaluation. The population were students and teachers in class XI Senior High School in Sigi Regency. Data collection techniques and instruments were carried out through tests and non-tests which included interviews, observations, questionnaires, validation instruments, knowledge test questions. The results of study indicate the feasibility of products that have been validated by experts is at a decent qualification, namely 80%. The learning equipment products were stated to be very practical by the teacher, 89.93% and practical by the students, namely 77.97% for the SETS learning and 75.50% for the practicality of the disaster mitigation and adaptation modules. The results of the effectiveness test were declared effective in the medium category with a score of 0.40.

Abstract

The liquefaction disaster caused loss of compact settlements in Petobo, the attention of the government to relocate community settlements to permanent residences. The purpose of this study was to knowing the response community of relocated settlement post liquefaction disaster in petobo. This study of type a qualitative description for purposive sampling. The general results analysis studies that 25 (83,33 %) to knowing the response community and 30 (100 %) the community response agree with for plan the relocated settlement’s post liquefaction disaster in Petobo, Palu City. For 28 (98,33 %) the community response disagrees with the government policy due to move the settlements another place. Generally, the community hope if the relocated settlements to do as soon as possible and still in petobo. Disagree process due too the community will not leave from petobo because they are authentic community in petobo.

Abstract

Morfologi Kota Sungai Penuh memiliki relief yang kasar oleh karena itu perlunya analisis karakteristik penggunaan lahan objek wisata Bukit Khayangan. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik penggunaan lahan objek wisata Bukit Khayangan, analisis dari lokasi, morfologi dan aksesibilitas objek wisata Bukit Khayangan kemudian hasil dari analisis menjadi rumusan alternatif-alternatif dan menyusun arah kebijakan pengembangan objek wisata Bukit Khayangan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Mixed Methods dan penentuan informan dilakukan secara Purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan kuesioner. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan analisis GIS untuk menganalisa lokasi, morfologi, dan aksesibilitas. Untuk merumuskan prioritas arahan kebijakan menggunakan analisis AHP. Hasil temuan penelitian berdasarkan lokasi, morfologi, dan aksesibilitas maka dibuat arahan kebijakan pengembangan yang harus dilakukan pemerintah dengan prioritas atau urutan kebijakan pengembangan yakni: (1) meningkatkan penguatan stabilitas lereng (0,844); (2) melakukan promosi melalui paket wisata (0,785); (3) melengkapi dan memperbaiki sarana dan prasana (0,739); (4) meningkatkan pemeliharaan dan pelestarian lingkungan (0,737); (5) Menerapkan dan meningkatkan koordinasi dengan Stakeholder (0,732). Kesimpulan dari penelitian adalah objek wisata Bukit Khayangan memiliki lokasi yang strategis terletak pada posisi sentral namun berada pada daerah kemiringa lereng 15-25% (Agak Curam) dan jenis tanah Padsolik yang peka erosi maka penggunaan lahan oleh masyarakat dan pemerintah dengan menfaatkan kendahan alam tanpa merusak struktur tanah. Kata Kunci: Pariwisata, Lokasi, Morfologi, Aksesibilitas, Kebijakan

Abstract

Pemahaman kesiapsiagaan bencana sangat penting dimiliki oleh semua siswa sehingga kesiapsiagaan banjir yang dikemas dalam virtual reality dan dikembangkan untuk pengembangan media pembelajaran geografi. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengimplementasikan virtual reality dalam membangun kesiapsiagaan banjir pada siswa SMAN 1 Torue. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen. Penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan rancangan pretest dan posttest pada dua kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS 17 untuk uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji n-gain, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai rata-rata pretest kelas eksperimen yaitu 70,1 dan nilai rata-rata posttest 88,5. Dari hasil pretest dan posttest dapat dilihat perbedaan pemahaman materi pada siswa sebelum diberikan perlakuan dan setelah diberikan perlakuan. Perbedaan ini diperkuat dengan uji-t dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 diperoleh value 0,00 dari = 0,05, karena nilai value nilai tabel maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima artinya terdapat perbedaan pemahaman materi pada siswa yang menggunakan VR pada proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh model pembelajaran experiential learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X IIS pada mata pelajaran geografi di SMA Negeri 10 Sigi. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 65 siswa yang terdiri dari kelas X IIS sebanyak 34 orang dan kelas X IIS 2 sebanyak 31 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persentase rata-rata keterlaksanaan aktivitas guru dan siswa dari pertemuan I sampai dengan pertemuan III sebesar 100% dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis (Independent sample t test) menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas kontrol 69,53 sedangkan pada kelas eksperimen yaitu sebesar 81,42 dengan nilai signifikan (sig) (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran experiential learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X IIS pada mata pelajaran geografi di SMA Negeri 10 Sigi.

Abstract

This literacy empowers communities to devise fitting strategies and actions in line with their specific conditions. Local knowledge-based disaster literacy plays a crucial role during disasters. Consequently, it can decrease disaster impact, raise community resilience, and facilitate recovery in the aftermath. This service aims to assess students' level of geoliteracy about disaster-related information and encourage them to craft disaster education posters informed by local wisdom. This program relies on mentoring and demonstrations, designed to employ clear and accessible language for the students. Implementing geoliteracy services for students at SMA Negeri 5 Sigi, specifically making disaster education posters based on local knowledge, is an effective method to enhance students' comprehension of disaster mitigation while preserving the surrounding culture.
