Abstract

Jesus the Catechist is dissected from a biblical, not Christological, perspective. The trio of Goo Catechists participated in Jesus the Catechist. They either preached about Jesus or followed Jesus for more than 50 years, even to old age and death. They have a very intimate closeness and attachment to Jesus, to the point that their whole lives are dedicated to Christ and His Church. They proclaim Jesus with faith in the context of the local culture, the Mee culture.

Abstract

Millennials and Gen Z as the future of the Church have unique characteristics. These characteristics pose a challenge for traditional catechesis to reach and engage them in the proclamation of faith. This article explores the concept of contextualization of catechesis as a solution to overcome these challenges. Contextualization of catechesis can be defined as the process of adapting the message of faith to better suit the cultural and social audience. This contextualization of catechesis aims to make catechesis more relevant, interesting, and easily understood by the millennial generation and Gen Z. This article discusses catechesis contextualization strategies that can be applied, such as: understanding the characteristics and needs of millennials and Gen Z, utilizing technology and social media, involving millennials and Gen Z in the catechesis process, empowering creative and digitally literate catechists, and strengthening cooperation between family, Church, and school. In conclusion, contextualizing catechesis is an important and mandatory effort to reach and involve millennials and Gen Z so that they do not feel alienated in the Church. The author uses the term: “In through their door, out through our door”, because by applying the right strategy, contextualization of catechesis can touch the hearts and minds of millennials and Gen Z, helping them to grow in faith and Christian values.

Abstract

The focus of this research is to answer the question of how the Gospel is preached to the people of Indigenous Papuans (OAP) in Santa Maria Bunda Rosario Parish, Modio. This research uses a qualitative method by conducting a process of participatory observation and involvement as an 'insider', and the data is analyzed phenomenologically or using a hermeneutic approach. The results obtained from this research are that the preaching of the gospel is carried out through efforts to develop the people's economy based on the reality of the community's attachment to their land and forest products, by buying and selling coffee and noken. The community enthusiastically participates in this economic development program because this effort has answered their longing for salvation now and here in accordance with the challenges of daily life.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to discuss the spirituality of ebamukai in the light of the Encyclical Fratelli Tutti art 87-127 in order to glorify human dignity. The author would like to bring up the values contained in ebamukai as an expression of glorifying human dignity. This research uses qualitative research methods by analyzing books, journals or online news that discuss the topic to be discussed. In addition, the author conducts in-depth interviews with figures who are considered familiar with the topic to be discussed. All data obtained will be sorted and analyzed descriptively. This research found that ebamukai is a practice that is full of life values that can be used to ennoble human dignity. These values include love, solidarity, compassion, open-heartedness and giving or sharing. All of these values are spearheaded by God as the One of Love and who unites all people. So ebamukai is not just an activity to collect money but a meaningful activity in glorifying human dignity and is sacred.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the completed teaching model in improving students' understanding of church social teaching materials. The completed teaching model is implemented through an approach that ensures each student reaches the expected level of understanding before moving on to the next material. This study used a quantitative method with an experimental design. Data were collected through learning achievement tests, classroom observations, and interviews with students and teachers. The results showed a significant increase in students' learning achievement after the implementation of the completed teaching model. Students showed a deeper understanding of church social teachings and were able to apply the knowledge in the context of daily life. In addition, this model also increased students' learning motivation and active participation in the learning process. Thus, the due diligent teaching model is proven effective in improving students' learning achievement in Catholic Religious Education and Cultivation subjects. The recommendation of this research is that the model can be adopted more widely in other subjects to improve the quality of education in schools.

Abstract

God's revelation always requires a human response called faith. The development of faith is always faced with a real context. Faith in the millennial era must be a special concern of the faithful so that it is not crushed by the development of social media. Social media must be a means of proclaiming faith, not the other way around. Understanding social media and making it a means of proclaiming faith is very important and urgent especially for millennials, so that everyone becomes children of God and not children of the devil.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the paradox within Christian belief regarding the resurrection of Jesus Christ: Jesus rose and Jesus was raised. This exploration is crucial given that the resurrection of Jesus is the foundation of Christian faith, which understands His victory over death, while also symbolizing resurrection and the hope of eternal life. This study is examined through the perspective of biblical theology. By gaining a deeper understanding of the paradox of Jesus' resurrection, it is hoped that it will provide richer insights into theological understanding and enrich academic discussions as well as the comprehension of the content of faith. The points that reconcile the paradox of the resurrection affirm that Jesus is truly God and truly human, emphasize the relationship of the Triune God, and highlight the uniqueness of His resurrection. The use of the terms "rose" and "was raised" affirms the two natures in one person, Jesus Christ

Abstract

Konstitusi Undang-Undang Dasar Negara Republik Indonesia 1945 (UUD NRI 1945) pasal 33 adalah sakti agraria, pertambangan, penanaman modal asing, kehutanan, penataan ruang dan aturan terkait lainnya. Keadaan tanah adat Papua tidak ada ruang dan tempat dalam hukum Indonesia, pembagian sertifikat tanah masal bukan solusi tetapi masalah terbaru dan terpusat yang dapat sertainya. Materi diskusi “hukum negara tentang pelindungan tanah” menjadi perhatian, namun peserta musyawara pastoral mee tidak mendapat penjelasan tentang tanah adat, tanah sertifikat dan tanah negara dari badan yang ada kaitan di Meuwodide. Tema muspas Aniya Yimu Beu Makida Koda Yoko Mei, artinya Kembali ke Tanah Kudusku…!? Kepemilikan tanah adat komunal itu sakral tetapi hukum negara mengatur menjadi tanah negara, tanah sertifikat milik pribadi. Hal berbeda dan kadang muncul masalah sejak dalam hukum Indonesia tidak melihat tanah hak milik adat komunal, tanah pusaka menurut marga, fam, klan. Negara-bangsa mesti memahami tanah adat Papua tanpa paham tanah negara dan sertifikat tetapi memahami keadaan partisipasi manusia pemilik tanah ulayat dalam karya penyelamatan Allah. Tanah bagi manusia asli Papua adalah mama atau ibu yang membesarkannya tidak semudah memiliki kertas sertifikat menurut program nasional (pronas) yang peruntukan kepada pribadi, pemerintah mesti berpikir solusi pendekatan antropologis, sosiologis dan yuridis atas kepemilikan tanah adat komunal menurut kearifan hukum adat setempat dan hukum negara tentang perlindungan tanah dengan memperhatikan tradisi yang turun-temurun.

Abstract

The purpose The purpose of this study was to examine and describe the Implementation of the Leadership of the Female Principal according to Bush and Coleman's statement (2012: 102) at YPPK Santo Mikhael Mugouda Elementary School in terms of: 1) Attention to people in the school and their workload, 2) Building work together, sharing, and working in a team, 3) Doubtful attitude, not satisfied with work, 4) Status.The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, documentation and interviews. The results of the study showed that the leadership of the female school principal at SD YPPK Mugouda, Tigi district, Deiyai district, had shown her leadership skills with female teachers in a society with a patriarchal socio-cultural life, based on the theory of Bush and Colmen (2012) that: First, women can lead and organize education. The ability to lead school principals has been carried out in terms of attention, namely: 1) Giving attention in the form of services to students is shown through motherhood and motivating subordinate teachers by paying attention to workload in the form of honorariums and awards. 2) Give attention to students and teachers through their role as educators. 3) Invite parents to pay attention to the workload of teachers and students. 4) Make donations to the community (church) on behalf of the school. The two female leaders are capable of holding meetings, receiving opinions, making decisions to work on together. His ability is shown by building cooperation, sharing and working in a team with three parties, namely: 1) The first party is with the teachers through work meetings. 2) The second party together with the teachers and students carried out the results of the meeting and 3) The third party together with parents and the school committee through meetings, produced a mutual agreement and carried it out. Like a spinning wheel, in the process and time of implementation, joint meetings become an opportunity to discuss, share expectations and constraints, find solutions and make agreements to carry out programs in the form of cooperation and team work.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis implementasi tugas kepala sekolah SMA Negeri 1 Deiyai dalam membangkitkan dan merangsan Tendik, melengkapi alat perlengkapan sekolah, mengembangkan metode mengajar, melaksanakan kerja sama harmonis guru-guru, mengembangkan mutu pengetahun guru-guru, membina hubungan kerja sama antara Tendik, siswa dan orang tua di SMA Negeri 1 Deiyai Provinsi Papua Tenggah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif tentang Implementasi tugas kepalah sekolah di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Deiyai. Sumber hasil wawancara kepada kepala sekolah, guru, TU bagian Administrasi dan peserta didik dari SMA Negeri 1 Deiyai. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kepala SMA N 1 Kabupaten Deiyai Provinsi Papua Tenggah telah mengimplementasikan tugas kepala sekolah sebagai berikut: 1) Membangkitkan dan merangsan Tendik dalam tugasnya masing-masing baik dari kesiapan mengajar hingga tanggung jawab pengelolaan nilai. Mengarahkan serta mengawasi mulai dari perencanaan, proses hingga evaluasi dengan berpedoman kepada aturan yang berlaku. 2) Melengkapi alat-alat perlengkapan sekolah demi kelancaran proses belajar-mengajar di kelas kepalah sekolah dapat diawali dengan mengidentifikasi kebutuhan yang menjadi perioritas dan melibatkan guru mata pelajaran untuk membicarakan program pembiayaanya. 3) Mengembangkan metode mengajar yang sesuai dengan tuntutan kurikulum baru berpengaru dari kurangnya sosialisai dari dinas terkait, kurannya buku sumber dan kurangnya disiplin dari guru maka kepalah sekolah selalu melakukan rapat ruting untuk mengefektifkan kedisiplinan guru. 4) Melaksanakan kerja sama harmonis guru-guru mengadakan makan bersama tiga bulan sekali. siswa melakukan lomba masak memasak lomba tarian tradisional berkunjung keluarga yang duka, atau sakit. 5) Mengembangkan mutu pengetahun guru-guru melaksanakan bimtek yang di adakan di Provinsi. Selanjutnya tes PPPK dan Tes Nasioan dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri guru di libatkan menjadi pengawas. selalu memberi contoh atau menjadi teladan, dan memberi reward bagi guru dan siswa yang berprestasi. Kepala sekolah memberikan kesempatan dan dukungan bagi guru dan staf dalam mengikuti pelatihan yang dapat meningkatkan jenjang karier, dan mendukung apapun kegiatan positif yang diinginkan guru dan staf. 6) Membina hubungan kerja sama antara Tendik, siswa dan orang tua kepalah sekolah mengadakan rapat bersama orang tua melalui komite sekolah untuk evaluasi keharmonisan, Guru, sisiwa dan orang tua.
