Abstract

The focus of this research problem is that mistakes in passing often disrupt concentration and feeling nervous when competing. This results in passes not reaching friends, passing too fast, and passing carelessly so it doesn't match the target. So the 4-1 training model uses two touches and 4-1. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of wall pass training and exercise with groups of 4 on PS Undikma Mataram football passing results in 2024. The research methods used by researchers are the observation method, documentation method and action test method. The research design uses "One-Group Pretest-posttest Design" (initial test and final test). The researchers used the entire population to be used as research samples, namely the entire Undikma PS, totaling 20 active people, where the sample was divided into two, namely 10 players using the 4-1 training model using two and 10 players using the one touch method. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. From the statistical results above are: seen from the results of research X1 with Y passing wall pass training seen from tcount > ttable (5,162 > 1,833). The influence of wall pass training and exercise with groups of 4 on PS Undikma Mataram football passing results in 2024'. And X2 exercise with groups of 4 with Y passing seen from t-count > t-table (6,867 > 1,833). with Y football passing obtained tcount is much greater than ttable, so it can be concluded that "there is an influence of exercise with groups of 4 on the football passing results of PS Undikma Mataram in 2024." accepted.

Abstract

Students face significant barriers to effective self-expression, including speaking apprehension, diminished motivation, and confidence deficits. Traditional teaching methods, such as the Silent Way, exacerbate these issues. To overcome these challenges, educators must adopt innovative instructional strategies that foster active learning, promote speaking skills, and encourage student engagement. The Fable Cottage channel transforms language learning into an immersive experience, leveraging storytelling to enhance linguistic proficiency. Departing from traditional textbook-based instruction, this approach fosters vocabulary expansion, cultural awareness, creativity, critical thinking and effective communication skills through collaborative project-based learning. The aim of this study was to determine whether the Fable Cottage YouTube channel has an effect on students' speaking skills. This study was a quantitative method using a pre-experimental design. The sample of this study consisted of 36 students. Based on the data analysis the results indicated a positive effect on the English-speaking skills of students who were taught using the Fable Cottage YouTube channel, compared to those who experienced traditional teaching methods. Students reported that the YouTube videos helped them infer the meaning of unfamiliar words and improved their speaking skills. The implementation of The Fable Cottage Channel YouTube videos yielded significant enhancements in students' speaking skills. The researchers recommended that language teachers integrate the Fable Cottage YouTube channel when teaching speaking.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of parenting patterns resulting from child marriage and how parenting patterns are carried out by parents or families who are still married at a young age. The research method used was Qualitative type of research with a case study approach. The data collection methods used observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis method used data reduction, data display and drawing conclusions. The results of the study (1) the parenting patterns used by parents who have early marriages in Jelantik Village tend to be different, namely authoritarian parenting patterns, democratic parenting patterns, permissive parenting patterns and mother-dominant parenting patterns. (2) The impact of parenting patterns of parents namely psychosocial impacts, nutritional fulfillment and child growth and development. For parents who tend to apply an authoritarian parenting pattern, the impact on children's psychosocial makes children tend to be more closed to their environment, while the psychosocial impact on children for parents who tend to apply a democratic parenting pattern makes children confident, disciplined and obey existing rules. The psychosocial impact for children with a permissive parenting pattern can make children emotional and must be followed by all their wishes. The impact of fulfilling nutritional intake in children, some parents pay attention to their children's daily nutritional intake, while some parents tend to pay less attention to the nutritional intake obtained by children in their daily lives so that some children are indicated to experience stunting.

Abstract

In this study, the background is research on the ability to recognize letters of the alphabet in children aged 5-6 years group B at TK Al-Iqa' Keruak District, East Lombok Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the ability to recognize letters of the alphabet in children and the factors that influence the ability to recognize letters of the alphabet in children aged 5-6 years group B at TK Al-Iqra' Keruak District, East Lombok Regency. The method in the study used descriptive qualitative research. Data collected through observation, interviews, documentation. Data were analyzed using data reduction, data display, data verification or drawing conclusions. While the validity of the data will be strengthened by extending observations, increasing perseverance, and data triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the ability to recognize letters of the alphabet in children aged 5-6 years that with the category "Starting to Develop" (SD) as many as 7 students, 3 students with the category "Not Yet Developing" (NYD). 1 student with the category "Developing Very Well" (DVW). 3 students with the category "Developing According to Expectations" (DAE). The factors that influence the ability to recognize letters of the alphabet in children aged 5-6 years are: Internal factors, (1) Emotional conditions; (2) Memory ability; (3) Reading interest; The external factors are, (1) Playmates; (2) Parents.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the use of picture card media in early childhood learning at Sekar Lolipop Kindergarten, Praya, in the 2023/2024 academic year. The focus is on providing opportunities for students to learn from real objects, especially through the use of picture card media. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, with the research location at Sekar Lolipop Kindergarten, Praya. Data were obtained through the principal, teachers/educators, and students, with data collection procedures in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of the study showed that the introduction of the natural environment was carried out in accordance with the guidelines in the kindergarten, such as RPPH and RPPM. Learning is carried out in the open air by utilizing picture cards to get to know jobs and visits to other kindergartens. Teachers implement this activity through introduction, core, and closing, where they introduce the natural environment to children. The use of picture card media in learning provides variation and makes learning more interesting, because it uses real objects around children, such as cards and pictures. This makes learning more interactive and not monotonous.

Abstract

Observations at SMAN 1 KERUAK show that students' active participation in speaking classes is still low, so appropriate intervention is needed in the learning process. Student activeness in learning is an important and fundamental issue that every teacher must understand, realize, and develop in the learning process. The purpose of this research is to find out how the use of project-based learning (PjBL) can increase students' active participation in speaking class at SMAN 1 Keruak. This research focused on class XI students at SMAN 1 KERUAK for the 2023–2024 academic year. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The results of the data obtained from observation sheet show that students can fulfilled all of indicators of active participation, and the data field notes show that after using the project-based learning (PjBL) model, students became more actively participate in speaking class, and the data questionnaire show that the use of project-based learning (PjBL) model getting a positive response from all students totaling 34 stuents with an overall score of 93.52%. Based on the findings, it could be concluded that the use of project-based learning (PjBL) model can increase students' active participation in speaking class at SMAN 1 KERUAK.

Abstract

This research is aimed to develop speaking skill through the presentation Practice Product (Triple P) to develop speaking skill at second grade students of SMPN 5 Sekotong Barat in academic year 2024/2025. The objective of the study was to know how can the Presentation Practice Product (Triple P) to develop students speaking skill. This research belongs to classroom action research with 4 procedures they are planning, acting, observing, and reflecting or mix method, qualitative method and quantitative method. The technique of collecting the data was pre-test and post-test. The instrument of the research used three types of getting the data were written test in the form of multiple choice, questionnaires with 5 options they are very agree scored 5, agree scored 4, partial 3, very disagree 2, and disagree 1, and  Observation sheet were students’ activities observation sheet, teacher’s activities observation sheet, and observer’s activities observation sheet. The procedure to analyze data were mean score by using formula Sudijono,2008: 43), and percentage was used according to Purwanto, 2010: 10). The result of data analysis showed that the value of pre-test was 7.1 and post-test was 8.1 so the value of -post-test is higher than the criterion of success (KKM) was 75. It means that the first cycle could achieve the criterion of success. Therefore, the research done only one cycle. It could be concluded that through presentation practice product (Triple P) could develop the students’ skill at second grade student of SMPN 5 Sekotong Barat in Academic Year 2024/2025.

Abstract

This study aims to find out Improving the eleventh grade students' reading achievement through listen, read and discuss  (LRD) strategy at SMAN 1 Gerung. This research is carried out using random sampling techniques, where all individuals in the population, either individually or together are given the same opportunity to be selected as sample members. This sampling and research is based on the considerations and recommendations of the English subject teacher, based on these considerations and recommendations, the class to be researched is class 11 F as many as 38 students as an experimental class. From the results of the study, the average pre-test score of students was 61.05 with a standard deviation of 10.46. Meanwhile, the post-test students obtained with an average score of 68.10 with a standard deviation of 9.18. Based on the calculations carried out with the T-test, the t-test was obtained which is 7.26 with a t-table of 1.68 for the actual level using 5% or 0.05. This shows that the t-test is greater than the t-table, which is 7.26>1.68, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. From the results of the assessment, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect in increasing student reading achievement in using the LRD strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of parenting styles on the social and emotional development of children aged 5-6 years in RT 15, Labulia Hamlet, Labulia Village, Jonggat District, Central Lombok Regency. This study used a qualitative method, with data sources consisting of parents, children aged 5-6 years, and neighbors. Data collection techniques used in this study included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using Miles and Hubermen, with the steps of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the study revealed that parents use different parenting styles for the social and emotional development of children aged 5-6 years. Several parenting styles applied by parents to children aged 5-6 years can impact their social and emotional development. The impact of authoritarian parenting is that children lack self-confidence in their social environment, while the impact of permissive parenting is that children tend to develop uncontrolled behavior so that children find it difficult to obey rules and the impact of democratic parenting is that children act actively in their lives. The conclusion of this study is that parenting styles significantly influence the social and emotional development of children aged 5-6 years.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a phenomenon discovered by the researcher, where children aged 4-6 in Penuntut Hamlet, Janapria District, exhibit polite and courteous speech, using refined or polite regional language in their daily activities. Considering the reality of today's modern era, many children are also experiencing a decline in manners and politeness towards their elders, or even less polite language. The aim of the research is to find out the role of parents in shaping the character of children aged 4-6 years in Penuntut Hamlet, Janapria and also to find out its supporting and inhibiting factor. Data collection techniques were conducted using combined triangulation. Data analysis is inductive or qualitative, and qualitative research results emphasize meaning over generalization. The method used in this study is qualitative, which aims to describe the situation objectively through words and sentences. the data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model. The researcher used data triangulation to test the validity of the data in this study. The results of this study indicate that the role of parents in shaping and educating children's character is crucial. This study identifies four types of parental roles: educators, guides, motivators, and facilitators.
