<![CDATA[This study aims to find out how the role of the preacher in bringing changes to the social conditions of the people who used to work in the Dadapan prostitution localization, Kediri City. Da'i plays an important role as a propagator of religion to protect the community. Thus, the relationship between the preacher and his community must be close regardless of the background or social conditions of the community. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method and is equipped with George Homans' social exchange theory, namely as an analytical tool to understand and seek clarity of cases so that researchers know more clearly about the phenomenon of da'wah in the ex-Dadapan localization community. The results of this study conclude that the da'wah process that occurs in Dadapan Village in social exchange theory explains that they are willing to interact when the interaction produces benefits for themselves. Therefore, in the dynamics of increasing religious understanding in the ex-Dadapan localization, it is necessary to have a reward given so that people want to interact in discussing religious studies.]]>

<![CDATA[New Student Admission, hereinafter abbreviated as PPDB, is stated in the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 51 of 2018, carried out based on the principles of non-discrimination, objective, transparent, accountable and fair. One of them is implemented with the PPDB zoning system policy. The New Student Admission (PPDB) zoning system raises a number of impacts. In practice, SMAN 1 Srengat has encountered several effects that have arisen since the implementation of the PPDB zoning system. Among them are the random input of students and the low enthusiasm for learning in students who are accepted through the zoning route without any selection with qualifications based on the acquisition of learning outcomes at the previous level. This research tries to review overcoming the problems of the teaching and learning process after the implementation of the zoning system PPDB policy at SMAN 1 Srengat. So that it can be seen that, in response to the implementation of the PPDB policy of the zoning system which generates random input and raises problems in the spirit of learning, SMAN 1 Srengat implements innovation and development of transformative and comprehensive student coaching.]]>

<![CDATA[Traditional games are increasingly losing place in children’s hearts as information-technology advances. Children prefer modern online-based games that can be accessed at any time via gadgets. Although some online games provide a chat feature that allows communication between users (children), children still cannot make direct contact. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using traditional games in improving children’s social behavior. This study uses an experimental design method. Researchers compared the scores of children’s social behavior before and after participating in traditional Javanese games. The research was conducted at Mojoranu I Kindergarten, Bojonegoro. Data were collected by means of observation using research instruments for 19 days of observation. Then, to analyze the data, the researchers use data triangulation involving the results of observation scores, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the average score of children’s social behavior before playing Javanese traditional games was 20.83 while the average score after playing Javanese traditional games was 39.11. Based on the results of this study, it can be said that traditional Javanese games are effective in improving children’s social behavior. Parents and/or teachers can use traditional games as a tool to improve children's social skills.]]>

<![CDATA[There was a significant increase in the number of new students at IAINTulungagung who chose to participate at the Tahfidz program as acompulsory program that they had to carry out every Monday until Thursdaystarts from 07.00 to 08.30 am. This article outlines the motivation ofstudents to take part in the tahfidz program in the dirasat al-Qur’an IAINTulungagung program, and outlines the role of that motivation for achievingthe target of tahfidz program students in the dirasat al-Qur'an IAINTulungagung. It was concluded that the types of student motivation wereintrinsic and extrinsic. The majority of informants (83.3%) had the intrinsicmotivation and had considerable attention to memorization activities, bothunda’an and muroja’ah. The majority of informants also have a solution tothe obstacles they face in memorizing. Related to the role of motivation, themajority of informants (83.3%) have the fluctuating motivation, they(87.5%) also aware of the targets set by the Tahfidz program.]]>

<![CDATA[Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskrispikan dan menganalisis pemahaman masyarakat di Kabupaten Banjar Kalimantan Selatan tentang harta perpantangan yang dikategorikan sebagai fiqih responsif gender yang lahir dari pemikiran ulama setempat abad XVIII, Syekh Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari. Data dikumpulkan pada tahun 2019 di Kabupaten Banjar Kalimantan Selatan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi non partisipatoris serta telaah dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman masyarakat Banjar tentang harta perpantangan dewasa ini terbagi menjadi dua; di tingkat ulama-ulama yang sering membantu penyelesaian sengketa, substansi dan dasar pemikiran yang melatarbelakangi kelahirannya dipahami dengan baik, namun kedudukannya lebih dipahami sebagai hukum adat daripada ijtihad fiqih, sedangkan masyarakat umum khususnya generasi muda kurang mengenal konsep harta perpantangan, baik substansinya, dasar pemikirannya maupun penerapannya karena fiqih kewarisan yang mereka pelajari merujuk pada karya ulama jazirah Arab. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman masyarakat Banjar tentang konsep fiqih cenderung didominasi oleh fiqih dari ulama jazirah Arab, karena ijtihad ulama setempat yang mengakomodasi lokalitas tidak dipahami sebagai ijtihad fiqih.]]>

<![CDATA[The large number of online media nowadays displays differences in reportingsome news. This difference is influenced by the journalist’s perspective inconfronting some events. The media implicitly also has its own ideology inpresenting news. News is an ideological construction which sometimes containsthe interests of certain parties. In relation to the Pilkada of Tuban Regency,the BlokTuban.com media frames the campaign coverage of the regentcandidates in its appearance that impact to influence the audience to believe forwhat is written there. This study aims to find out the framing analysis ofBlokTuban.com media when reporting the Tuban regent candidate campaignin 2020. The results show that the sources on BlokTuban.com are moredominated by the contestants for the Tuban regent and deputy regentcandidates. The framing by BlokTuban.com is conducted in various ways,namely the diction of news titles, the selection of information sources, and thediction of words used in news articles. BlokTuban.com builds a positive imagein reporting the contestants of the candidates for regent and deputy regent ofTuban.]]>

<![CDATA[This article aims to understanding on types of public speaking barrier alongwith solutions for communication apprehension in students of Communicationand Islamic Department, IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo. A communicationapprehension as a public speaking barrier is depicted based on theunderstanding of perspectives of cognitive and behavioral as well as types ofcommunication apprehension. This research method is descriptive qualitative.The data obtained was collected from interviews and observations. The study’sfindings reveal that: 1) the communication apprehension experienced bystudents is driven by negative thoughts and trends to avoid public speaking;2) the types of communication apprehension experienced by students aretraitlike communication apprehension, context-based communicationapprehension, audience communication apprehension, and situationalcommunication apprehension; and 3) while preparing for a certain occasion,the communication apprehension experienced by the student is coped withshifting focus, having positive self-talk, doing exercise, and not memorizingmaterial. In addition, the students do role taking, breathing exercises, rightfoods eating, and body exercises before performing.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the practice of interfaith communication in residential communities in making efforts to preserve the environment. The research uses an ethnographic approach and is located in two cities, namely Tuban and Tulungagung Regencies. Researchers stayed for five years, starting in 2017-2021. Three years in Tuban, two years in Tulungagung. The results of this study indicate that not all housing communities are individualistic, but some are collectivist. Their interfaith communication patterns are mutually tolerant of each other. To protect the environment, they jointly make a schedule for cleaning the environment and managing waste.]]>

<![CDATA[Clean Government and Good Governance has realized yet in Indonesia. It isproven by selling and purchasing the positions in various places still exist. Theprocess of rotation, transfer, and promotion of civil servant (ASN) that shouldhave been given to the competent employees did not run as it should. The fieldinvestigation shows that the existence of power transaction that makes positionas an object of commerce. This article aims to examine the kleptocracy of sellingand purchasing the positions in Indonesia. The perspective used is the sociologyof law. The research methodology implements a normative legal methodologythrough a qualitative approach and analysis of the fraud triangle theory, Gonetheory, Ramirez Torres theory and Icebery Model theory. The result of the studyconcludes that bureaucrats are often not transparent, corrupt and tend to carryout transactional practices. For this reason, it is necessary to change therecruitment system and overall monitoring of civil servant (ASN) bureaucracy.]]>
