Abstract

The increasing gap between academic competencies and labor market demands has encouraged higher education institutions to strengthen internship programs as a means of enhancing students’ work readiness. This study aims to analyze the implementation of mentorship, its contribution to improving the quality of internship students, and the supporting and inhibiting factors affecting mentorship effectiveness at PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Jasindo). This research employed a qualitative case study approach conducted from September to December 2025. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving internship students in the Retail Underwriting Unit and were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model with the assistance of NVivo 14. The findings reveal that mentorship was implemented through onboarding activities, task guidance, monitoring, work discussions, experience sharing, and performance evaluations involving both internal company mentors and external mentors from the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). The mentorship program significantly improved students’ hard skills, soft skills, professional adaptability, and career readiness. Supporting factors included mentor support, direct project involvement, conducive work environments, communication, rewards, and field visits, while limited mentoring time, workload pressures, communication barriers, and scheduling uncertainties emerged as major challenges.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has had a significant impact on copyright protection, particularly in terms of the distribution and infringement of copyrighted works online. This study aims to analyze the regulation of copyright law in Indonesia, the forms of protection in the digital era, and the obstacles in its enforcement. The method used is normative juridical with a statutory and conceptual approach. The results of the study indicate that although Indonesia has strong regulations through Law Number 28 of 2014 concerning Copyright, its implementation still faces various challenges, such as low public legal awareness, limited surveillance technology, and the cross-border nature of the internet. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen technology-based regulations and increase international cooperation to increase the effectiveness of copyright protection

Abstract

The hospitality industry contributes significantly to the global economy, but its operational activities generate environmental impacts, such as energy consumption, water use, waste, and carbon emissions. This study aims to map research trends related to green practices, green hotels, and sustainable hotels, and to identify dominant themes and literature gaps through a combination of bibliometric and content analysis. This research method uses a qualitative approach through a literature review, with bibliometric data obtained from 959 documents indexed by Scopus, analyzed using VOSviewer through network visualization, overlay, and density visualization. Next, content analysis was conducted on 40 selected articles based on topic relevance and abstract clarity. The bibliometric results show significant growth in publications in the 2020–2025 period, with key clusters related to employee behavior, consumer behavior, green human resource management (GHRM), corporate social responsibility (CSR), organizational performance, and post-pandemic sustainability. The content analysis identified three main categories in the implementation of green practices: human factors, organizational factors, and technology and innovation factors. This study confirms that the implementation of green practices is a multidimensional phenomenon that requires an integrative approach. These findings provide theoretical, practical, and methodological contributions, and offer a future research agenda that emphasizes the integration of people, organizations, and technology, digitalization, and the implementation of smart hospitality.

Abstract

In the era of modern information systems, improving database efficiency and performance is one of the critical factors to ensure smooth operations and real-time transaction processing. This study aims to evaluate the application of in-memory databases in academic information systems. The research method uses a combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches. The importance of this research lies in the central role of database efficiency in supporting the performance, speed of service, and reliability of academic information systems. The analysis was performed using the TPC-C benchmark scenario to compare the performance between disk-based and in-memory databases under various test conditions. The results show that the use of in-memory databases provides faster response times and higher transaction throughput compared to disk-based databases, especially in online transaction processing (OLTP) transactions. In addition, the test results also highlight the importance of index optimization strategies and parallelism settings in supporting system performance. This study provides strategic recommendations related to the migration of academic information systems to in-memory architecture to improve overall operational efficiency.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the service pricing strategy at the Tutoring Learning Point using the Tripod method, which is expected to provide benefits for tutoring pioneers in a more structured and data-based prices setting. Many new business actors, including those in the education sector, often set prices based only on estimates without careful calculations regarding costs and market value. A qualitative approach with descriptive analysis was used to explore the factors that influence price determination, by collecting data through in-depth interviews and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with managers, teachers and students. The research results show that cost analysis (Cost-Based Pricing) produces a minimum price of IDR 360,000 per student per month, which includes operational costs such as tutor salaries, place rental and learning material costs. Value analysis (Value-Based Pricing) shows that the majority of respondents consider a reasonable price for tutoring services to be between IDR 400,000 to IDR 600,000 per month, with superior facilities that increase the perception of value. Meanwhile, competition analysis (Competitor-Based Pricing) found that the average price of competitors was in the range of IDR 350,000 to IDR 450,000. Taking into account the superiority of the services offered, the price of IDR 450,000 per student per month is considered optimal and reflects a balance between operational costs and customer perceived value.

Abstract

The increasing global emphasis on sustainable development has encouraged organizations to integrate environmental and social considerations into their business strategies and accounting practices. This study aims to examine the role of management accounting strategies in supporting business sustainability and green accounting. Using a literature review approach, this research analyzes and synthesizes findings from scholarly articles, books, and relevant reports related to management accounting, sustainability accounting, and environmental management practices. The findings indicate that management accounting has evolved beyond its traditional focus on financial performance to become a strategic tool that supports sustainable decision-making through planning, performance measurement, cost management, and resource optimization. In addition, green accounting contributes to environmental responsibility by identifying, measuring, and reporting environmental costs and impacts associated with organizational activities. The integration of management accounting strategies and green accounting enables organizations to improve decision-making quality, enhance resource efficiency, strengthen sustainability reporting, and increase stakeholder accountability. Furthermore, this integration supports the achievement of long-term business sustainability by balancing economic objectives with environmental stewardship and social responsibility. The study concludes that the synergy between management accounting and green accounting provides a comprehensive framework for sustainable business performance and serves as a critical factor in achieving competitive advantage and sustainable development in the modern business environment.

Abstract

The phenomenon of dividend puzzle and the inconsistency of results (research gap) from previous studies are the background to this study. This study aims to analyze the effect of Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Profitability (ROA), and Firm Size on Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) with Effective Tax Ratio (ETR) as an intervening variable. The research method used is quantitative with an empirical study of companies listed in the LQ45 index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2022–2024. The data analysis techniques applied panel data regression analysis with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) estimated using Robust Standard Errors (PCSE). The results of the study indicate that company size has a negative and significant effect on ETR, ETR is proven to have a negative and significant effect on dividend policy, which means the lower the effective tax burden, the higher the dividends distributed; Company size is the most dominant determinant that has a positive effect on dividend policy; DER and profitability (ROA) are not found to have a significant effect on dividend policy directly in this sample. Regarding the mediation role, ETR is proven to mediate the effect of company size on dividend policy significantly, but is not proven to mediate the effect of DER and profitability on DPR.
