Abstract

Gereja Katolik sebagai bagian dari masyarakat dunia turut prihatin dengan permasalahan dan krisis lingkungan hidup sehingga Gereja menjalin kerja sama dengan berbagai pihak untuk merawat, melindungi, melestarikan dan memperbaiki lingkungan hidup. Berhadapan dengan kerusakan lingkungan hidup berbagai pihak telah berupaya untuk merekonstruksi pemikiran-pemikiran baru untuk merajut keutuhan ciptaan, entah lewat teori etika, kebijakan sosial, ekonomi, politik maupun teologi. Semua upaya tersebut merupakan bentuk partisipasi manusia dalam karya Tuhan sekaligus panggilan manusia untuk memperbaiki lingkungan hidup yang telah rusak menjadi satu kesatuan ekosistem yang harmonis. Partisipasi itu dapat diejawantahkan melalui katekese lingkungan hidup.

Abstract

Tolerance is an essential quality of maturity in religious life. This paper argues that tolerance presupposes mutual recognition and understanding among religious communities and the acceptance of different beliefs and practices. Tolerance as a peaceful coexistence can be realized as long as different religious traditions recognize the truth-claims of each person based on his or her religion or belief, and neutrality of the state through the constitution and regulations for all religions, especially minorities. Moreover, tolerance requires a healthy dialogue between civil and religious institutions for the sake of the human person and social harmony

Abstract

Education is an effort to accompany students to become mature and independent persons. Therefore, education continues for the lifetime and cannot be restricted in certain institutions. Families, communities and schools have their respective roles in carrying out the functions as educators. Today school is regarded as the most responsible for the process of education. Consequently, the education department is regarded as the official institution that contributes to education, whether formal, informal or non-formal. As a result, the role of other educators is not seldom ignored. This paper proposes J.I.G.M. Drost’s concept of education to determine position and the role of any educational institution and to provide the importance of cooperation between educational institutions

Abstract

According to Lévi-Strauss, there are two different structural models of marriage exchange. First, the women of Ego's group areoffered to another group explicitly defined by social institutions. This is the elementary structure of kinship. Secondly, the group ofpossible spouses for the women in ego's group is "indetermined and always open", with exclusion, however, of certain kin-people.Lévi-Strauss calls these latter complex structures of kinship. The model of Levi-Strauss attempts to offer a single explanation forcross-cousin marriage, sister-exchange, dual organisation and rules of exogamy. Marriage rules over the times create social structures, as marriages are primarily forged between groups and not just between the two individuals involved

Abstract

Keselamatan mendapat tempat yang sentral dalam teologi Santo Paulus. Rasul para bangsa ini memandang keselamatan sebagai tema sentral dalam peristiwa kehadiran Yesus. Keselamatan tak lain adalah tindakan penyelamatan Yesus bagi manusia yang berdosa. Tindakan keselamatan itu diwujudkan melalui sengsara, wafat dan kebangkitan Yesus. Berkat tindakan keselamatan ini manusia dibebaskan dari dosa yang mengantar kepada kematian kekal. Menurus Paulus dimensi soteriologis inilah yang menjadi dasar peristiwa inkarnasi Anak Allah.

Abstract

Tulisan ini berupaya menekankan kembali ajaran Gereja Katolik tentang larangan bagi kaum klerus untuk terlibat dalam bidang politik, termasuk kekecualian berdasarkan aturan-aturan dan ketetapan-ketetapan dalam Gereja Katolik. Kemudian, seirama dengan berkembangnya demokrasi dalam bidang pemerintahan dan politik, skripsi ini mau menekankan bahwa peranan aktif kaum klerus dalam bidang politik adalah sebagai pemberi arah moral dan iman bagi kaum awam untuk berpolitik secara benar.

Abstract

Komunikasi yang sempurna terwujud dalam Trinitas Ilahi. Komunikasi ―intern itu meluas melalui karya penciptaan dan berkomunikasi dengan makhluk-makhluk yang diciptakan, khususnya manusia. Dalam arus komunikasi itu Allah memperkenalkan Diri, dalam perkataan-perkataan para nabi dan terutama dalam diri Putera-Nya Yesus Kristus. Pernyataan Diri yang dilaksanakan oleh Allah melalui karya-Nya, menjadi sangat konkrit dalam segala yang telah Yesus lakukan bagi kita, serta seluruh penampilan-Nya. Demikian pula Para Rasul Allah harus menjadi komunikator yang diutus untuk mewartakan kabar gembira dengan perkataan, namun lebih lagi oleh perbuatan.

Abstract

In these modern times we can see a dominance of ―juridical-discursive‖ power. This ―juridical-discursive‖ power is exclusively based on law and prohibition, censure, obedience and uniformity of those in power. Foucault recommends a new vision by arguing that power is a multiplicity of connections of force, a process in human relations, and also an aid which at the same time is a strategy which is carried out in certain communities. This power yields everything time and again, it has its source from everywhere and has connections with everything. This power is an omnipresent force. Foucault places power at inter-human relationship. Nevertheless, there is a weakness in Foucault‘s vision, since he puts forward an identification of power-law-monarchy. With this identification, he disregards factual progress of the democratic community.

Abstract

The relationship between the ship and society in Nusantara has become the focus in recent years of many studies by archaeologists, historians, and anthropologists. The nature of this relationship is essential to the understanding of the traditional structure of the village and of the society. In very simplified terms the question posed boils down to the following: how can we explain the relation between the ship and the traditional society? How can we find the ideas of a ship in the governance structure of traditional society?

Abstract

Globalisation is a phenomenon which nowadays occurs in people‘s everyday life. This globalisation is developping at a high speed, since it is supported by the ever advancing technologies of information and communication. Globalisation has both positive and negative impact on culture, especially on Foruk. Foruk is a type of culture which is of great value; however, it is more and more vanishing from people‘s memory. By making use of advanced technologies in the field of information and communication Foruk can be restored in Tanimbar.
