Abstract

This research analyzes the challenges and risk management models in Islamic financial institutions. This research uses the literature review method to understand the research theme in-depth. The main problem with Sharia financial institutions (LKS) is the low literacy and inclusiveness of Sharia finance among the public, and this can be minimized with the digital transformation of LKS. Therefore, this research examines the challenges and implementation of digital transformation in LKS. Abstract

The enactment of the Law on Harmonization of Tax Regulations (UU HPP) has changed the provisions for paying income tax by taxpayers, both in terms of double tax deductions, one-level tax systems and investment incentives. This research aims to analyze income tax on dividends within the legal framework of the HPP Law as well as the impact of implementing the HPP Law on the development of national investment. The research method used is a normative research method with a statutory and conceptual approach. The results of this research show that the implementation of the HPP Law as one of the government's steps in efforts to harmonize national tax regulations, one of which regulates income tax on dividends, has had various impacts, including reducing double taxation, simplifying the income taxation system, and supporting national investment. Implementing the HPP Law increases the interest of local and foreign investors to continue investing their business results domestically, both in the capital market and the real sector. It is supported by the publication of quantitative data from the Ministry of Investment/BKBM, where there is a positive trend in investment realization nationally in the first and second quarters of 2023.

Abstract

Political parties are a fundamental kind of formal political associations andone of their most significant manifestations. The effectiveness of theseparties contributes to the institutionalization of the system as they serveas a conduit for communication between the authority and individuals. The most important functions of these parties are represented inparticipation, political education, and recruitment. These parties alsobasically represent a group of people that share beliefs, such as a shareddestiny and unity of purpose. They strive to achieve the function bygaining political power or, at least, by influencing state publicpolicymaking. Furthermore, the beginning of political associations in Egyptdates to secret associations at the end of the 1960s of the 19th centuries. Some sources indicated the existence of some secret societies in Al-Azhar, in addition to other associations, at the end of the 1970s. As thecrisis deteriorated in society, which led to a sense of how bad the countryconditions had become, three political powers emerged: the army, intellectuals, notables and scholars, and members of the Shura Council ofRepresentatives, which were represented by the political organizationsthat were formed in that period, reflecting popular hopes for reform andprogress. To begin with, it can be said that the emergence of MostaqbalWatan ‘The Nation’s Future Party’ was not very different from theemergence of several political parties that emerged after the January 25Revolution, all of them were characterized by superiority and elitism. Thus, it was more elitist and superior to a natural emergence among agroup of stakeholders that share at least an ideology or political referencewith each other. Accordingly, it can be said that founding the party camein transitional circumstances, following the June 30 Revolution, when agroup of young people from the Egyptian Student Union carried out ayouth campaign entitled (The Nation’s Future). The main goal of this partywas to pass the 2014 constitution, but some quickly embraced the ideaand worked to transform it into a political party. This caused a greatuproar about the method of establishment and who was behind the party.

Abstract

The cognitive and conceptual framework of the study was formulatedthrough the independent variable, which is the ownership structure and itsimpact on the intermediate variable, which is the profit distribution policy, and the dependent variable, which is the real value of shares .Therefore, the study was built on its problem through a set of questions raised by theresearcher, namely, whether there are clear effects of a change in theownership structure on the intermediate variable on the real value ofshares .The premise of the study was that measuring and presenting thenet assets of the economic unit on the basis of fair value makes thedecisions of current and prospective investors more rational, especially asthis reflects the current status of the value of the economic unit. The studyconcluded that investors should follow the changes in the ownershipstructure of Iraqi enterprises because they affect the real value of sharesin order to access information that enables them to make investmentdecisions.

Abstract

In view of the importance of the English language in teaching and the specificity of scientific subjects as it is the language of science and communication and the language of modern scientific technologies in the world, and in line with these data, the decision of the Ministry of Education in the Republic of Iraq was to instruct the teaching of scientific subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology) in the schools of gifted and distinguished students by the language English and according to the curricula prepared for that. Today, despite the passage of six years since the application of this experiment began, there is no scientific study (as far as the researcher knows) based on this experiment from a scientific point of view in terms of results, except for poor discussions on the margins between supporters and opponents of the teachers in charge of teaching these subjects. The sources of these attitudes are multiplied between a national standpoint to preserve identity or an objective one since language is an essential part of the structure of thinking, and therefore teaching science in a language other than the mother tongue negatively affects the efficiency of understanding and assimilation of various scientific concepts to varying degrees according to the nature of the study material. The researcher, through his teaching of life sciences for intermediate stages, was an eyewitness to the problems that students suffer from during their studies, and from this point of view, it was necessary to try to conduct a scientific evaluation on the results of this experiment in an attempt to overcome ready-made judgments, whether supporters or opponents that are not based on objective data, thus placing the decision maker on a clear awareness in the process of evaluating the experiment.
