Journal Of Bionursing
The Journal of Bionursing is an open-access journal that provides a forum to publish scientific works on Nursing and Health Sciences (pISSN: 2684-7833, eISSN: 2685-6484). This Journal was established in 2019 and developed by the Department of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences, Jenderal Soedirman University in collaboration with the Indonesian Biomedical Nurses Association. This journal is published three times a year (January, Mei, and September). Since Volume 2 Number 3 (2022), the Journal of Bionursing has been accredited as a SINTA 4 National Journal. The focus and scopes of the journal cover all aspects of nursing and biomedical research including basic research in nursing, medical and surgical nursing, management nursing, mental health nursing, emergency and critical nursing, gerontological nursing, mental health nursing, maternity nursing, pediatric nursing, community nursing, complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) in Nursing.

Background: This is in accordance with findings from World Health Organization (2021), that poor communication and understanding within the team is approximately 70 - 80% errors in health services are caused by the phenomenon of poor communication in Indonesia and in the world. medical errors reached 4.1% - 91.6%. This is caused by an error 54% of prescriptions were given errorsdrug administration as much as 11%, and drug use incorrect as much as 46%. Interprofessional collaboration is partnerships between professions with backgrounds different education and work together to solve patient health problems as well provide needed health services. Aim: For know what an Interprofessional looks like Collaboration on Nurse Performance Satisfaction in world and in Indonesia through reviews from various literature. Methods: This study uses a literature review design. The data used were taken from four databases, Google Scholar, SinceDirect, Proquest, PubMed. and were searched based on specified inclusion and exclusion criteria. Article search results is presented in the PRISMA diagram. The articles obtained are then performed Critical Appraisal and due diligence using Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) tools, then analysed using the simplified thematic approach. Result: The search results obtained as many as 1.102 articles from the four databases. The search limit was in the form of Indonesian and English articles from 2018-2023. and a total of ten articles were researched. Conclusion: There are seven derivatives with several subtitles that the author has created explained among them are Interprofessional collaboration between nurses and doctors, Nurse satisfaction with interprofessional team members, Nurse-Doctor Collaboration, Moral Pressure, and Professional Autonomy to Satisfaction Nurses work as assistants. Implementation of nurse-doctor collaboration in inpatient rooms after the Covid-19 pandemic. Implementing interprofessional collaboration practice in improving nurse performance, interprofessional collaboration and nurse burnout. and the last one is the speak up method to improve interprofessional.

Background : Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder with increased blood glucose levels due to impaired insulin secretion, insulin action or both. Diabetes mellitus is characterized by high blood sugar levels as a result of insulin function insufficiency which can be caused by impaired or deficient insulin production by beta Langerhans cells of the pancreas or by the body's cells being less responsive to insulin. Stress is a condition when there is a discrepancy between expectations and reality. Stress and diabetes mellitus have a close relationship. Objective : The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between stress and blood sugar levels in patients with diabetes mellitus in the Bernung Community Health Center Working Area, Pesawaran Regency. Method : This is a quantitative analytical research with a cross-sectional approach. This study was conducted on 30 patients with diabetes mellitus, using a questionnaire. The tool used in this study was a stress level questionnaire which was measured using the Perceive Stress Scale (PSS) questionnaire. It is said that mild stress has a score of 0-13, moderate stress has a score of 14-26, and severe stress has a score of 27-40. While blood sugar levels are obtained by measuring the patient's blood sugar using the Instant Glucotest EasyTouch GCU 3 in 1. Blood sugar levels are expressed in mg/dL. To test the relationship, an analysis was used using the Chi-Square test with a confidence value of 95% and a significance of 0.05. Result : The results of the study showed that there was a relationship between stress and blood sugar levels of diabetes mellitus patients (p=0.000). Conclusion : Based on the results of the study, it was found that there was a relationship between stress and blood sugar levels of diabetes mellitus patients in the Bernung Health Center Work Area, Pesawaran Regency.

Background: Cancer is the leading cause of death in the world. Data shows the number of cancer deaths in the world reaches 10 million cases. Therefore, cancer patients often experience anxiety. However, anxiety can also stem from chemotherapy procedures and side effects. The literature says social interaction can overcome anxiety. This study aims to analyze the relationship between social interaction and anxiety levels of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy at Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Hospital. Method: This study used a cross-sectional study design. Sampling using an accidental sampling technique. A total of 107 respondents participated in this study. Anxiety was measured using the STAI-Trait questionnaire and social interaction using The RAND Health Social Battery questionnaire. Hypothesis was examined by r Pearson’s test. Results: The results showed that there was a negative significant relationship between social interaction and anxiety levels of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy (r: -0.233; p: 0.1). Conclusion: There is a relationship between social interaction and anxiety among cancer patients.

Background: Elderly is someone who has reached the age of 60 years and over and is an age group that is vulnerable to experiencing health problems such as depression. One non-pharmacological treatment that can be used to treat this problem is a combination of spiritual tapping therapy and music therapy. This study aimed to determine the effect of a combination of spiritual tapping therapy and music therapy (SPIRTUS) on symptoms of depression in the elderly in Banteran Village. Objective: Knowing the effect of the combination of Spiritual Tapping therapy and Music therapy (SPIRTUS) on symptoms of depression in the elderly in Banteran Village. Method: This research was a case study with a quantitative approach, pretest-posttest without a control group. Respondents were 3 elderly people with severe depression in Banteran Village. The intervention was given for a duration of ±30 minutes per day for 7 days. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test. Results: In this study, giving SPIRTUS therapy was proven to be able to reduce the GDS score in the elderly from severe depression (score 9-11) to moderate depression (score 5-8). The results of the analysis using the Wilcoxon test showed a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.109 (p > 0.05), which means there was no significant difference between the pre and post results of administering SPIRTUS therapy to elderly people who experienced depression. Conclusion: The combination of Spiritual Tapping and Music Therapy (SPIRTUS) can be applied to elderly clients and proven to be able to reduce symptoms of depression in the elderly by paying attention to the 5 keys to therapeutic success.

Background. School-age children are preadolescents where girls reach physical maturity and experience menarche. Children who are not ready to face menarche arise problems, one of which is the rejection of menarche, to overcome this problem one of them is by conducting education with peer group methods that are suitable for school-age children. Objective: The purpose of this scientific paper is to determine the effect of Peer Group on Readiness to Face Menarche in Elementary School Students. Method: This research method is quasi-experimental. Total 34 samples were divided into a half intervention group and control group. Hypothesis was tested with t test analysis. Results: The results of the analysis using the paired t test test for the experimental group, the average pre-test was 10.50 and the post-test was 13.50, and the p value was 0.04 (p <0.05) meaning that there was an effect of education with the peer group method on readiness to face menarche. Meanwhile, in the control group the mean of pre-test and post-test was 8.75 and the p-value was 0.39 (p>0.05. Conclusion: There was no significant difference in the control group. This study suggests to the Simpang Tiga Pekanbaru Health Center so that education with the Peer Group method can be taught to school-age children.

Background. One of the phenomena that can be of concern in the world of education is the case of bullying in schools. Bullying can occur in public schools, but boarding schools are potentially more vulnerable because students spend more time together Objective. to feature the bullying behaviour among adolesce in Banda Aceh. Methods. his research design is a cross sectional study. The sampling technique used proportionate random sampling with a total sample size of 236 students. The data collection tool is a questionnaire consisting of 39 questions in the form of a bullying scale by means of a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using frequency distribution Results. The analysis shows that the level of bullying in boarding school students in Banda Aceh City, which is in the low category, 98.7% do not experience bullying and those in the high category are 1.3%. Conclusion. The research shows that bullying still occurs in boarding schools, although it only involves a small proportion of students who experience bullying.

Background. Fluor albus is a common condition that often occurs in women, where vaginal discharge is a form of discharge from the vagina but not blood. Although it is often considered normal, vaginal discharge can be a serious problem and a clinical manifestation of various types of diseases. In Indonesia, 75% of women have experienced vaginal discharge. Based on the data we got at the Kutai health center itself, 256 cases of vaginal discharge affected teenage women. Objectives. This study is to describe the relationship between knowledge and attitudes about vulva hygiene with incidence of leucorrhea in Kutai, Tangerang Community Health Center. Methods. Quantitative with descriptive correlational method with cross-sectional approach. The sample of this research is a female adolescent between 18-20 years with total of respondents are 79 female adolescents with using the total sampling technique. The instrument used is a questionnaire. The analytical method used is univariate and bivariate. Results. Based on knowledge, there are 33 respondents (41.8%) have a good level and 47 respondents (59.5%) classified as having an adequate attitude of vulva hygiene, but 71 respondents (89.9%) had experienced pathological vaginal discharge (abnormal). Statistic test regarding the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes of female adolescents about vulva hygiene with vaginal discharge shows results p-value: 0.057 > 0.05 for knowledge and p-value: 0.089> 0.05 for attitude so there is no relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes of female adolescent about vulva hygiene with vaginal discharge. Conclusion. Expected for Community Health Center, especially in Kutai, Tangerang can build a program that focuses on providing counseling and education about health reproduction for female adolescents so that the incidence of pathological vaginal discharge can be reduced

Background: Patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus tend to have problems with their diet. Non-compliance in maintaining a diet will affect the quality of life, that lead to worsening the prognosis of the disease. Therefore, it is important for them to adhere to a diet by paying attention to the right type, amount, and schedule to improve the quality of life. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between diet compliance and quality of life of patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in Banda Aceh city. Methods: This study used quantitative methods with a correlative descriptive design and a cross-sectional study approach. The population is Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients who visited the Ulee Kareng Health Center from May to July 2023 as many as 145 people. A sample size with 107 respondents using Slovin formula. The sampling technique used to obtain the sample is proportional sampling. Data collection tools using the Dietary Adherence Questionnaire and The World Health Organization Quality Of Life (WHOQOL)-BREF Questionnaire. Results: Analysis of research results using Spearman's rank test. The results showed that there was a relationship in a positive direction between dietary compliance and quality of life patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (p < 0.05). Conclusion: It can be concluded that dietary compliance is related to the quality of life of patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. It is expected that the health care nurse monitor and evaluate patient related to diet compliance so that the quality of life becomes better.

Pendahuluan : Hipertensi merupakan penyakit kronis yang dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor risiko seperti usia, jenis kelamin, dan kurangnya aktivitas fisik. Untuk itu diperlukan suatu teknik dalam mengontrol tekanan darah dan heart rate dengan penerapan brisk walking exercise. Tujuan : Mengetahui pengaruh brisk walking exercise terhadap perubahan tekanan darah sistolik dan distolik serta heart rate. Metode Penelitian : Merupakan penelitian eksperimental jenis quasi experiment dengan pendekatan control group pre-test post-test. Subjek penelitian ini adalah penderita hipertensi di Wilayah kerja Puskesmas SAMATA Kabupaten Gowa sebanyak 20 responden dengan usia 30-75 tahun dan menjalani pengobatan di Puskesmas SAMATA yang dipilih secara non probability sampling dengan purposive sampling. Hasil : Hasil uji statistik tekanan darah pada kelompok intervensi didapatkan nilai p-value 0,000 (p-value < 0,05). Pada kelompok kontrol didapatkan nilai p-value 0,000 (p-value < 0,05). Hasil uji statistik heart rate pada kelompok intervensi didapatkan nilai p-value 0,135 (p-value > 0,05). Pada kelompok kontrol didapatkan nilai p-value 0,136 (p-value > 0,05). Kesimpulan : Terdapat pengaruh setelah diberikan perlakuan brisk walking exercise terhadap perubahan tekanan darah pada kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol. Namun tidak terdapat pengaruh heart rate pada kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol.

Hipertensi merupakan kondisi medis yang sering dialami oleh lansia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keterkaitan hubungan antara self efficacy dan self care pada lansia yang menderita hipertensi. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan desain tinjauan sistematis untuk mengumpulkan dan menganalisis literatur yang relevan dengan self efficacy dan self care pada lansia penderita hipertensi[A1]. Literatur review ini menggunakan lima artikel baik jurnal nasional maupun internasional dengan kata kunci hipertensi, lansia, self care, dan self efficacy. Berdasarkan hasil tinjauan sistematis terhadap beberapa literatur yang relevan dengan self efficacy dan self care pada lansia hipertensi diperoleh bahwa terdapat hubungan antara self efficacy dan self care dengan hipertensi pada lansia. Semakin tinggi tingkat self efficacy pada lansia, semakin tinggi pula self care dalam mengatasi masalah hipertensi yang dialami oleh lansia tersebut.
