Bhumiputra: Jurnal Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat Global adalah jurnal ilmiah yang menerima artikel dalam bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Inggris, diterbitkan secara berkala dan berfokus pada isu-isu global terkait pembangunan berkelanjutan, kemanusiaan, dan keberagaman budaya. Jurnal ini menerima artikel dalam bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Inggris yang berasal dari hasil penelitian asli, kajian literatur, atau laporan pengabdian masyarakat. Bidang kajian yang dibahas meliputi ilmu sosial, lingkungan, teknologi, kesehatan, dan humaniora dan bidang kajian lainnya. Tujuan utama Bhumiputra adalah menjadi wadah bagi para akademisi, praktisi, dan masyarakat umum untuk berbagi pengetahuan dan pengalaman dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat di seluruh dunia. Jurnal ini juga bertujuan untuk mendorong kolaborasi antar peneliti dari berbagai disiplin ilmu dan memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan kebijakan publik yang lebih baik. Bhumiputra menganut kebijakan open access, sehingga semua artikel yang terbit dapat diakses secara bebas oleh masyarakat luas. Proses review artikel dilakukan melalui sistem peer review double-blind untuk memastikan kualitas dan orisinalitas setiap tulisan. Jurnal ini diterbitkan sebanyak 4 kali dalam setahun (Maret, Juni, September, dan Desember).

Abstract

Agricultural technology innovations continue to evolve to enhance efficiency and productivity. One such innovation is the 2-in-1 corn planting tool, which enables the simultaneous planting of two corn seeds in a single motion. This study aims to evaluate the tool's effectiveness in improving crop yields and labor efficiency. A qualitative case study approach was employed, involving interviews and direct observation of three farmers who tested the tool in Candiwatu Village. The findings show that the tool reduces planting time by 30–40%, lessens physical fatigue, and ensures consistent planting depth and spacing. Furthermore, it is environmentally friendly as it does not rely on external energy sources. Thus, the 2-in-1 corn planting tool is considered feasible for wider adoption as a simple mechanization solution in Indonesia's corn farming sector.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in the Indonesian economy, particularly in rural areas. Candiwatu Village in Mojokerto Regency is known as a production center for Black Sticky Rice Tape, a traditional culinary product with high cultural and economic value. However, most MSMEs in this village lack adequate understanding of business legality and the importance of visual identity in marketing their products. This guidebook was developed as a form of assistance focused on increasing legal awareness through copyright registration and strengthening branding through collaborative logo design. Through a participatory approach, this book provides practical and applicable guidance that can be used by MSMEs, students, and village officials to encourage the growth of legal, independent, and competitive local MSMEs. The results of the assistance show that legal protection of intellectual property and strong branding are two complementary aspects in enhancing the position of MSMEs in an increasingly competitive market.

Abstract

Public land services in Indonesia, particularly the issuance of land title certificates, face significant challenges related to efficiency and transparency. To address these issues, the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) launched an electronic land certificate program as part of its digital transformation. A community service program (KKN) in Candiwatu Village aimed to increase public understanding of this policy. Through a participatory approach, the outreach program successfully raised public awareness of the benefits of electronic certificates, such as data security, service efficiency, and ease of verification. Despite concerns about digital data security and technological accessibility, community enthusiasm demonstrated a willingness to adapt to the new system. This initiative is expected to be a starting point for the digitalization of land services at the village level and encourage further collaboration between the government and communities.

Abstract

The development of TOGA racks with timer-based automatic watering systems is an innovative solution to increase the productivity of medicinal plants in rural villages. This appropriate technology is designed to address the problems of irregular watering and labor constraints. Through qualitative descriptive methods and a community service approach, this study demonstrates that the automated system can reduce maintenance time by up to 70% while improving plant quality. The implementation of this program not only impacts increased TOGA harvest yields but also creates new income sources for the village treasury through the sale of processed products. With low production costs and operational ease, this technology has the potential to be developed as a village-based creative economy model.

Abstract

Community service activities through Public Speaking training at the Women's Police School (Sepolwan) are driven by the limited oral communication skills of prospective female police officers in delivering messages systematically, confidently, and persuasively. The goal of this activity is to enhance the public speaking competencies of Sepolwan students so that they can present themselves more professionally, humanely, and communicatively in carrying out their police duties. The methods used include participatory training through lectures, simulations, role plays, presentation practices, and reflective mentoring. The implementation results show a significant improvement in verbal skills (intonation, diction, clarity of message) as well as nonverbal skills (eye contact, expression, body language). Additionally, participants showed an increase in self-efficacy in facing audiences, courage to speak in public forums, and the ability to build communicative interactions. These findings reinforce the relevance of the theoretical framework. the communication competency theory and self-efficacy theory, while also affirming that public speaking training contributes to the formation of social institutions that support the role of policewomen as professional and humane public communicators.

Abstract

Livestock feed problems in rural areas are often faced by farmers, especially in terms of processing forage that requires chopping. In Candiwatu Village, the grass chopping process is still done manually which requires a long time, a lot of energy, and uneven cutting results. This community service activity aims to apply appropriate technology in the form of a simple grass chopper based on an iron barrel and dynamo. This innovation is designed to be easy to use, energy efficient, and efficient in its use by local farmers. The method of implementing activities includes a needs survey, tool design, training in use, and evaluation of results in the field. The implementation results show that this tool is able to speed up the grass chopping process up to three times compared to traditional methods, as well as reduce farmer fatigue and increase work time efficiency. This activity also encourages the community's spirit of mutual cooperation and serves as an example of the effective application of simple technology to support the productivity of village farms.

Abstract

Parenting is a parenting pattern for children. Parenting comes from two words, namely first, the word “pattern” and second the word “care”. Parenting can be interpreted as a system, way of working or form in an effort to maintain, care for, educate and guide children so that they can stand alone. In addition, parenting can be interpreted as the interaction between children and parents during parenting activites. Character is interpreted as a way of thinking and behaving that is typical of each individual to live and work together, both within the scope of the family, society, nation and state. Individuals with good character are individuals who can make decisions and are ready to be responsible for every consequence of their decisions. From the activites that have been carried out, namely “Socialization of the Importance of Parenting in the Formation of Children’s Character” can increase knowledge, improve understanding and awerness of parents about the importance of parenting science and the impacts caused by errors in parenting patterns in the formation of children’s character.
