Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of trust and risk on purchasing decisions using the Shopee Pay later payment method on Management students of the Faculty of Economics, Tribhuwana Tunggadewi University, Class of 2021. This study uses a quantitative approach with a multiple regression design. The study population consisted of 246 students, with sampling using the Slovin formula, which resulted in 100 respondents. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling through purposive sampling. The variables tested were trust (X1) and risk (X2), which are expected to influence purchasing decisions (Y). Data were analyzed using multiple regression to test the simultaneous and partial effects between independent variables (trust and risk) on the dependent variable (purchase decision). The F test was used to partially test the simultaneous impact, and the t-test was used to test each independent variable's effect. The results of the F test show that the f count value of 12.130 is greater than the f table of 3.940 with a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), which indicates that trust (X1) and risk (X2) have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Partially, the results of the t-test show that trust (X1) and risk (X2) each have a positive and significant impact with a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), so H1 and H2 are accepted. Based on the research results, trust (X1) and risk (X2) positively and significantly affect students' purchasing decisions, with trust as a dominant factor. This research contributes to understanding the factors that influence purchasing decisions, which can be used as a reference for business actors in designing more effective marketing strategies.

Abstract

Human Resources management is the key to organizational success, where leadership style and working hour arrangements significantly affect employee performance. PT Citra Kendedes Cake and Bakery in Malang face challenges related to employee performance due to suboptimal leadership and unintegrated working hour management. This study aims to analyze the role of leadership style, the contribution of working hours, and the interaction between the two in improving employee performance. A descriptive qualitative method was used with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and participatory observation of HRD and supervisors. The results show that a situational and adaptive leadership style that combines a democratic approach, flexibility, and SOP support successfully creates a collaborative work environment. A standardized working hours policy (8 hours/day) with flexibility for supervisors and transparent overtime compensation improved employee productivity and welfare. However, challenges such as policy communication inconsistencies and procedural ambiguities need to be addressed through strengthening documentation systems and leadership training. The synergy between adaptive leadership and humane working hour arrangements proved effective in improving performance, although it requires refinement of the operational structure to minimize the risk of employee fatigue.

Abstract

Inventory is a matter that plays a vital role for a company, especially in the manufacturing industry. Reasonable inventory control is necessary to manage inventory effectively and efficiently. This research was conducted at PT. Kelapa Sari. Primary data was obtained through observations in the warehouse, and interviews with relevant departments, and secondary data was obtained from company documents. The EOQ method aims to achieve minimal inventory levels, low costs, and better quality. Planning the EOQ method in the company can reduce the occurrence of stockouts, thereby not disrupting processes within the company and saving raw material inventory costs through the inventory efficiency implemented within the company. In addition, applying the EOQ method can reduce storage costs and save space, both for the warehouse and workspace. This method can also address issues arising from excessive inventory accumulation, thereby reducing the risks from stored inventory in the warehouse, such as soybeans that are susceptible to humidity or water. This EOQ analysis is easy and practical for planning how often a material should be purchased and in what quantities
