Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning activity of mild mentally retarded students in learning adaptive physical education in the new normal period. The survey method was carried out in this study to find out the active data of students. The data collection technique used an assessment instrument in the form of a checklist by means of learning observation. The results of this study indicate that observations were made twice, the highest percentage was 56.25% of students who were active in the learning process with indicators always active getting a percentage of 33.25%, sometimes active 19.50%, and inactive at 3.50%. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the level of activity of mentally retarded students in participating in adaptive physical education learning at SLBN Jombang can be said to be active.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of concentration and balance on shooting under basketball of Taruna Sumenep club players. This study uses a non-experimental research type with a correlational research design. The research instrument used a Grid Concetration Test questionnaire for concentration variables, 30 seconds of shooting under basket, and a balance test. The sample of this study amounted to 12 athletes, with purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used correlation product moment. The results showed that there was no relationship between concentration and under basket with the significance value of 0,364. For the balance variable with under basket the significance value is 0,940, which means there is no relationship. The conclusion that can be drawn from this study is that there is no significant relationship between balance and under basket and concentration with under basket.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the difference between weight training and plyometric training in handball athletes; (2) which exercise is better for athletes who have high motor skills who are trained with weight training or plyometric exercises on the results of flying shoots; (3) which exercise is better for athletes who have low motor skills who are trained with weight training or plyometric exercises on the results of flying shoots; and (4) whether or not there is an interaction between the training method and motor skills on the results of the flying shoot. This research is an experimental study with a 2x2 factorial design. The subjects in this study were 20 athletes at the handball club at SMAN 14 Palembang. The data analysis technique used was two-way ANOVA with a significance level of 5%. The results showed that: (1) there was a significant difference between weight training and plyometric training on the ability to flying shoot; (2) the results of flying shoots for athletes who have high motor skills who are trained with weight training are lower than the average group trained with plyometric exercises; (3) the results of flying shoots for athletes who have low motor skills who are trained with weight training are lower than the average group trained with plyometric exercises; and (4) there is a significant interaction between weight training and plyometric training on flying shoot ability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the maximum oxygen volume level (VO2max) in Unibraw 82 Malang soccer players. Research uses a type of quantitative descriptive research with survey techniques. The study sample was 21-person Unibraw 82 Malang soccer players. The instrument used is a Multistage Fitness Test. The results of the study obtained that the lowest VO2max value owned by Unibraw 82 Malang soccer players was 27.6 ml/kg/min, while the highest VO2max value was 54.1 ml/kg/min. The average VO2max value of Unibraw 82 Malang soccer players is 39.2 with a data variation of 55.6 and a raw deviation of 7.5. Based on the results of research that has been done, it can be concluded that the VO2max level of Unibraw Malang soccer players as many as 10% of players fall into a good category, 14% of players fall into a sufficient category, 29% of players fall into a low category and 48% of players fall into a very low category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how students and parents respons to online learning in physical education. The data was collected by means of a questionnaire distributed online on googleform, besides that the researchers also conducted interviews with physical education teachers and the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs to test the validity of the data. The data collected were two hundred and fourty students and two hundred and fourty parents, then analyzed by qualitative descriptive technique. The results showed that students and parents had the perception that online learning for physical education was not suitable and not effective because they had to practice directly to understand the material to the fullest. In addition, there were several obstacles, especially the availability and internet quota, students and parents admitted that they had to pay more to buy quotas. In addition, the most negative impact for students is that in the absence of practice, the mastery of movement and basic techniques in physical education material is not achieved.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how many times students could do triple jumps. This research is classroom action research. The subjects in the study were students of class X SMAN 1 Maya Island, with a total of 16 students. The instrument used was the triple jump test. The data analysis technique used in this study was descriptive quantitative. Learning through the step-by-step triple jump is dynamic and fun so that students are active in observing every movement in the triple jump. Based on the research results, namely the initial test, with an average of 51.56 who completed only one student with a score of 6.25%. First cycle, with an average of 66.66, nine students completed with a value of 56.25%. However, the average results from the initial test and first cycle have not reached the expected target. So, it was continued in the second cycle with an average increase of 72.22; 11 students completed with a score of 68.75%. So that the step-by-step learning is successful from 1 student who completes with a score of 6.25% to 68.75%, based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the increase in triple jump results through step-by-step learning can be seen from the average and completeness results of each student.

Abstract

This correlation study aims to determine the relationship between the concentration of badminton extracurricular students on smash accuracy. The study population was all extracurricular students at SMPN 5 Pamekasan and SMP Plus Nurul Hikmah as many as 94 students (M: 60; F: 34). Sampling using simple random sampling resulted in 56 students (M: 28; F: 28). Concentration was measured using the Concentration Grid Test (validity t=8.771, p<0.05) and smash accuracy was measured using the Smash Ability Test (validity, r= 0.926 and reliability, test-retest= 0.9). The results show that the average value of concentration is 8.07 (less concentration) and the average value of smash accuracy is 48.86 (medium smash). The normality test showed that the concentration distribution was not normal (p= 0.0006<0.05) and the smash accuracy was normal (p= 0.2>0.05). Spearman's rho correlation showed that there was no relationship between concentration and smash accuracy (r= 0.146, p= 0.284>0.05). There is no relationship because the students' smash ability is still lacking and when they do it too fast the concentration that should be able to be maximized properly becomes less good or less than optimal. It can be concluded that research on the relationship between students' concentration levels and badminton extracurricular smash skills has no relationship.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and analyze shooting movement skills in accordance with the concept of BEEF (balance, eyes, elbow, follow-through) in sports or basketball games that are reviewed in terms of biomechanics. BEEF is a shooting concept that makes it easier for athletes to understand and handle shots properly and correctly with the advantage of being more efficient and effective in the shooting. The methods in this study use quantitative descriptive by using survey methods with test and measurement techniques to collect data. Sampling techniques in this study use purposive sampling because it has certain criteria in determining samples. A total sample of 8 male athletes of Depok City Elite Skills Club had approved this research procedure by signing informed consent. The results showed that basketball shooting speed has an average of 1.94 ± 0.56 m/s and an average time of 1.30 ± 0.18 seconds. This research confirms that basketball shooting movements in accordance with the BEEF concept fall into the category of Inappropriate and the results of the level of conformity with the average fall into the corresponding category. The limitations of this study only show kinematic data including distance, times, speed, and angle. In the next researcher is expected to be able to measure kinetic data to find out what is the strength and darkness of athletes when shooting.
