Abstract

Usia 17-25 tahun seseorang memiliki perilaku seksual yang sudah jelas dan mulai mengembangkannya dalam bentuk hubungan pacaran. Desa Ratatotok memiliki keberagaman agama, hal ini membuat diusia 17-25 seseorang sering kali terlibat dalam cinta beda agama. Penelitian ini bertujuan dan fokus utama pada peran konseling keluarga menjaga identitas iman  anak dalam menghadapi tantangan cinta beda agama dengan menerapkan tujuh dimensi permasalahan logo konseling yang dikemukan oleh Jacob Daan Engel dan Fredrik Hallatu . Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dengan melibatkan langsung keluarga dan anak yang terlibat cinta beda agama. Melalui penelitian yang dilakukan, didapati bahwa anak yang terlibat cinta beda agama di  Ratatotok disebabkan oleh konteks masyarakat yang berbeda agama, lingkungan menganggap bahwa cinta beda agama adalah wajar, rasa penasaran, ekonomi dan lemahnya peran orangtua. Inilah faktor penyebab terjadinya cinta beda agama di Ratatotok, masalah ini harus ditangani dengan serius, anak perlu dibimbing oleh keluarga agar tidak menjalani cinta beda agama apalagi sampai berpindah agama

Abstract

Usia remaja merupakan usia yang masih mencari jati diri dan sangat labil dalam mengambil sebuah keputusan. Tetapi ketika telah salah melangkah, para remaja dituntut untuk bertanggung jawab atas perbuatan tersebut. Hal ini seringkali menjadi penyebab konflik interpersonal diantara pasangan remaja yang kaweng tasalah karena tidak memiliki kesiapan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan bagi remaja yang rentan dengan konflik akibat terlalu dini menikah. Hasil penelitian yang didapat adalah banyak remaja yang telah mengikuti pergaulan buruk dan kenakalan remaja yang berdampak negatif bagi kehidupan para remaja ini termasuk kaweng tasalah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif-analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa remaja yang kaweng tasalah rentan terhadap konflik bahkan banyak kali terjadi KDRT. Kesimpulan yang didapat adalah walaupun para remaja telah memilih jalan yang salah, mereka perlu dituntun untuk membangun sebuah komitmen yang sungguh dalam kehidupan rumah tangga.

Abstract

Dalam kehidupan modern, kecenderungan orangtua menjadi workaholic menjadi tantangan serius bagi keharmonisan keluarga. Fokus berlebihan pada pekerjaan sering kali menyebabkan peran emosional dan spiritual dalam keluarga terabaikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji peran konseling pastoral dalam membantu orangtua workaholic menyadari kembali prioritas hidup mereka. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode wawancara naratif, data diperoleh dari beberapa informan yang mengalami pola hidup tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konseling pastoral berperan sebagai ruang refleksi spiritual dan pemulihan emosional. Melalui pendampingan yang intensional, konselor pastoral membantu orangtua memahami kembali makna keluarga sebagai panggilan ilahi dan membimbing mereka menyusun ulang prioritas berdasarkan nilai-nilai iman Kristen. Proses ini memberikan kesadaran baru akan pentingnya kehadiran dan relasi yang utuh dalam keluarga. Dengan demikian, konseling pastoral terbukti menjadi sarana transformatif yang relevan dalam menjawab kebutuhan spiritual dan relasional keluarga masa kini yang terdampak oleh workaholic.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang pentingnya pendampingan pastoral bagi anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus di Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) Agca Center Manado. Dalam realitas sosial, anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus sering mengalami penolakan, diskriminasi, dan ketidakadilan karena keterbatasan fisik, mental, dan emosional yang mereka miliki. Gereja sebagai tubuh Kristus dipanggil untuk hadir dan merangkul mereka melalui pelayanan pastoral yang bersifat menyembuhkan, membimbing, menguatkan, mendamaikan, serta menumbuhkan nilai spiritual dan martabat hidup mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk mengeksplorasi secara mendalam bagaimana praktik pendampingan pastoral diterapkan di SLB tersebut, serta dampaknya terhadap perkembangan iman, emosi, dan relasi sosial anak-anak. Melalui pendampingan pastoral yang dilakukan kepada anak berkebutuhan khusus, akan memulihkan identitas anak sebagai pribadi yang berharga di mata Tuhan. Melalui pengalaman nyata di SLB Agca Center, Gereja ditantang untuk lebih peka terhadap keberadaan kelompok yang rentan dan memperluas misinya untuk pemulihan dan kepedulian yang nyata di tengah masyarakat.

Abstract

Cancer patients often experience emotional and spiritual distress that affects their quality of life. This study aims to analyze the application of Person-Centered Therapy (PCT) in pastoral counseling to provide spiritual comfort and strengthening for cancer patients. The theoretical study was conducted based on a qualitative approach with a library research method. PCT, developed by Carl Rogers, emphasizes empathy, unconditional acceptance, and active presence, making it relevant to the context of pastoral counseling. The results of the study indicate that the application of PCT can help cancer patients find the meaning of life, increase inner peace, and strengthen their spiritual relationship with God. This study concludes that PCT makes a significant contribution to pastoral care, especially for patients with complex emotional and spiritual needs.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of pastoral counseling in the effort to restore the souls of workers at UPTD PPA North Sulawesi who face various psychological and spiritual challenges in carrying out their duties. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach through in-depth interviews with workers. The results show that workers face various challenges such as high workload, exposure to secondary trauma, security risks, and ethical dilemmas that significantly impact their mental health. Pastoral counseling emerges as an approach that integrates spiritual dimensions with psychological recovery, providing holistic support that encompasses emotional and spiritual aspects. Through the pastoral counseling approach, workers can find deeper meaning in their work, build spiritual resilience, and manage stress more effectively. This research provides important insights into how pastoral counseling can play a role in restoring and maintaining the mental health of workers amid challenging work demands.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of pastoral counseling as a pillar of strengthening for terminal illness patients. Through a qualitative approach with a case study method, this study explores the experiences of patients, families, and pastoral practitioners in dealing with emotional and spiritual challenges. Findings show that pastoral counseling provides emotional validation, spiritual support, and improves family relationships, which contribute to the well-being of patients. This assistance not only helps patients accept the reality of death, but also provides meaning in their suffering. Thus, this study emphasizes the importance of integrating pastoral counseling in the healthcare system, especially in palliative care, to create a supportive environment for patients and their families.

Abstract

Conflict in church life is often a challenge that spiritual leaders must face. In situations like these, pastoral leadership plays a crucial role in resolving emerging problems wisely and compassionately. This article aims to explore the concept of pastoral leadership in handling church conflicts through a serving approach with the heart. This approach emphasizes values ​​such as empathy, honest communication, and a commitment to maintaining peace despite differences. With an approach based on love, pastoral leaders are expected to be able to guide congregations towards reconciliation, strengthen relationships within the church community, and strengthen the foundation of their faith. This article also discusses various leadership strategies and principles that can be applied to resolve conflicts in accordance with Christian values, thereby encouraging harmony and unity in the church body.

Abstract

Child abuse is an essential element in psychological recovery after sexual abuse. The study aims to review the role of counseling pastoral counseling in building signs of sexual abuse in uptd-ppa province of north sulawesi. The pastoral counseling approach creates a safe environment and provides emotional support for the victimized children, focusing on the restoration of their spiritual, emotional, and social aspects. Through guidance based on religious values, victims gain a better understanding of themselves and the strength to overcome trauma. The study involves a qualitative approach. Research shows that pastoral counseling interventions greatly contribute to raising children's self-esteem, alleviating anxiety, and building the necessary social skills to interact in society. Awakening consequences also help children overcome trauma and improve their quality of life. Thus, pastoral counseling plays a key role in the recovery of victims of sexual violence, emphasizing social and spiritual support on their journey of healing.

Abstract

Identity crisis among youth is a complex challenge where individuals struggle to find their identity and meaning in life. This article discusses the importance of support from counselors, communities, and parents in helping adolescents face this crisis. Through a qualitative approach, this research explores the role of pastoral counselors in providing spiritual and emotional guidance, as well as effective counseling techniques such as faith-based cognitive-behavioral therapy and spiritual meditation. Furthermore, the article highlights the significance of collaboration among various parties to create a safe and supportive environment while providing the necessary resources for youth. Thus, this collective support is expected to empower young people in their search for spiritual meaning and life purpose.
