Abstract

The transformation of the Messianic paradigm of Jesus as a role model for Christian political education addresses and actively participates in Indonesian democracy in the context of the 2024 elections. In this political situation in Indonesia, Jesus is seen as a figure who exemplifies how to interact with the world of politics in an ethical and integrity manner. Based on the theological view from Daniel 7:13-14 regarding the Son of Man, Jesus' Messiahship is emphasized again in Mark 8:27-30. Dismissing the Jewish view represented by Peter regarding Jesus as the Revolutionary Messiah, Jesus actually exemplifies a very different paradigm. He is not a political leader but his leadership values ​​are visible in his service which aims for a new, more dignified way of life. This paradigm suggests that Christian political education should focus on teaching values ​​such as justice, compassion, and service to others, in line with the teachings of Jesus. This transformation is important in the current political context, where integrity and ethics are often questioned. By taking Jesus as a role model, Christian political education can help form leaders with principles and integrity.

Abstract

The era of disruption affects the moral development process of today's youth so that synergy between parents, teachers and church ministers is needed. The fact that there is still a lack of synergy between parents, teachers and church ministers in the moral development of adolescents is because parents fully entrust their children's education at school or church. The busyness of parents in working is one of the causes of the lack of parental control over the experiences that children get at school or in church while the educational process at school and in church is limited by time. Based on this problem, the purpose of this study is to see what the synergy of parents, teachers and church ministers looks like in the process of adolescent moral development in the era of disruption. Qualitative research with descriptive method was chosen in this research. The informants in this study are parents, Christian Religious Education teachers and church servants or youth coaches. Data were collected through field observations, interviews with respondents and collecting supporting documents. The results of this study show that the form of synergy between parents, teachers and church ministers has been implemented through coordination and communication between parents and teachers, the formation of a parents' association at school, parents fully support the involvement of teenagers in church activities, and church ministers equip teachers through seminars or workshops on deepening understanding of the Word of God to face the process of moral development of adolescents in the era of disruption.

Abstract

Local wisdom places more emphasis on the place and locality of the wisdom so that it does not have to be wisdom that has been passed down from generation to generation. Meanwhile, Siau has a variety of local wisdom, both long-standing local wisdom that has been passed down from generation to generation, as well as new or recent local wisdom that has emerged as a result of interactions with other communities and cultures, one of which is mubawaki. Mubawaki is one of the local wisdoms where the people have a very high level of empathy and solidarity from the Siau people in the context of bereaved people, they work together to help the bereaved families, starting from the fathers who make tents and the mothers who help in kitchen and food delivery. Abstract

Pastoral Counseling is a reciprocal process that occurs between the counselor and the client to achieve a common goal, namely what the counselee himself hopes, namely to get out of the problem. Pastoral counseling also in ministry cannot be limited by time, where and whenever it can be done. The meaning of pastoral counseling in the Sangihe community's pemingan tradition is: Daleng'u Wera is one of the pastoral services that can be carried out where there are pastoral functions that can be applied, namely: guiding, supporting, empowering and preventive or prevention functions. So that pastoral counseling and customs become one of the new things that can influence each other and also complement each other in their services. In this case, pastoral counseling can play an important role in the Dalengu Wera customs to facilitate open dialogue and communication, provide understanding, provide spiritual support and emotional so that both families and couples can get the right decision before entering the wedding procession. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method to see the meaning of pastoral counseling in the Daleng'u Wera betrothal tradition.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the value contained in the traditional cutting of tamo which has pastoral counseling value in it has elements of reconciling and needing functions that can be used as part of the pastoral counseling method of the Sangir tribe community, especially those in Tagulandang. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method conducted in Tagulandang in 2024. All data in this study were collected through observation and interviews and documentation studies. From the results, the Tamo custom in Tulude which contains pastoral counseling values by prioritizing the function of reconciling or repairing good relationships spiritually with God as the owner of life, between fellow humans. Tamo contains counseling values that regulate the life journey of the whole community to live in togetherness, equality, unity, and determination to support each other so that the community has a cultural foundation value that serves to help get through various life problems. The function of Mengutuhkan in the Tamo cutting custom is as part of the function applied in pastoral counseling which emphasizes the holistic development of life in all aspects of human life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang memberikan deskripsi tentang anak tunanetra dari perspektif pastoral konseling. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dukungan spritual dan emosional yang diberikan melalui konseling pastoral kepada anak tunanetra. Serta dengan harapan diri yang positif menjadi fokus penting untuk mendukung spiritual dan emosional anak tunanetra. Anak tunanetra merupakan individu memiliki gangguan penglihatan yang mengakibatkan keterbatasan dalam melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai Pendampingan Pastoral bagi remaja yang terlibat dalam penyalahgunaan obat, yang masih belum diterapkan secara optimal. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mendorong remaja terjerumus dalam penyalahgunaan obat, strategi yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi dan mencegahnya, serta bentuk pendampingan pastoral yang efektif untuk membantu remaja keluar dari perilaku tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, yang melibatkan teknik Observasi dan Wawancara. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini meliputi remaja yang terlibat dalam penyalahgunaan obat, orang tua mereka, dan para pelayan khusus di KGPM Anugerah Malalayang. Faktor utama yang menyebabkan remaja terjerumus dalam penyalahgunaan obat adalah kurangnya dukungan dan perhatian, sementara strategi untuk mengatasi dan mencegah penyalahgunaan obat meliputi pengembangan minat dan bakat remaja, serta penyelenggaraan seminar atau sosialisasi untuk meningkatkan wawasan mereka. Bentuk pendampingan pastoral yang diterapkan berupa konseling, yaitu membantu remaja memahami masalah mereka dengan lebih baik dan memberikan dukungan untuk membangun kepercayaan diri, sehingga mereka dapat mengatasi masalah saat ini dan menghadapi tantangan di masa depan.

Abstract

Church ministry often demands high commitment and dedication, which can lead to burnout in church ministers. Burnout is a condition of physical, emotional, and mental exhaustion due to prolonged stress that impacts performance and personal well-being. This study aims to examine the importance of pastoral counseling assistance in helping church ministers overcome burnout. The method used is a case study with a qualitative approach through interviews with church ministers who experience burnout. The results showed that a pastoral counseling approach based on spiritual healing, and an empathic emotional approach can provide significant support for church ministers to overcome burnout. In addition, the importance of the role of pastoral assistants who provide space for church ministers to talk, reflect, and accelerate the recovery process. This study suggests that churches pay more attention to the mental and spiritual health of church ministers through structured and sustainable mentoring programs to maintain the balance of their lives in carrying out ministerial duties.

Abstract

In today's rapidly changing world, mental well-being is a critical aspect of human life. The complexities of modern living often lead to stress, anxiety, and disillusionment, compromising mental health. As holistic beings comprising body, soul, and spirit, achieving mental well-being cannot be separated from spiritual dimensions. This study explores the role of pastoral counseling education as a bridge to mental well-being, particularly within the Christian faith. By integrating spiritual and psychological perspectives, this research aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of mental well-being, addressing the intricate relationships between interpersonal relationships, work, and life's meaning. Ultimately, this study seeks to contribute to the development of a transformative pastoral counseling approach that fosters mental well-being, promoting a deeper sense of peace and wholeness that transcends human understanding

Abstract

In the face of plurality and diversity that exists in the social environment, the most powerful weapon to regulate against clashes and disintegration is through moderate Religious Education. Religious Education has a significant influence to realize this. This is because religion is a guideline for mankind to have a relationship between humans and their God in accordance with the religious beliefs embraced by each person. this research leads to a type of quantitative research approach. effective management of Christian education learning and high self-efficacy can have a significant impact on increasing students' religious moderation commitment through strategies involving the use of active and elaborative learning methods, the development of a religious moderation curriculum, and the cultivation of moderation values. Good learning management supports the development of self-efficacy, and high self-efficacy strengthens commitment to the principles of religious moderation taught in Christian education. The effectiveness of Christian education and self-efficacy complement each other to shape attitudes of religious moderation. Effective Christian education can increase students' religious self-efficacy. To achieve this, Christian education learning and self-efficacy within students have an important role. A moderate attitude in religion will not be realized if Christian Education learning and learning self-efficacy do not run effectively and simultaneously
