Background: Appendicitis is defined as inflammation of the vermiform appendix (worm bag) which is the most common emergency surgery in children and young adults with abdominal pain. Appendicitis is thought to be caused by obstruction of the appendix lumen by faecalith, fecal stasis, lymphoid hyperplasia or caecal neoplasm, and various infections by pathogens. Appendicitis occurs more in men than in women with a ratio of 1:4 events and strikes at an average age of 10 to 30 years. Aims: Knowing the comparison of the number of leukocytes in patients with acute appendicitis and appendicitis with perforation. Method: This type of research is quantitative with observational analytical research design with a cross-sectional approach. Data retrieval uses secondary data by looking at the number of leukocytes in the respondent's medical record. Bivariate analysis with the Non-parametric Man-Whitney test. Results: It is known from the analysis of data on the number of acute appendicitis leukocytes as many as 50 people and Perforation Appendicitis as many as 42 people. Conclusion: There is a significant difference in the number of leukocytes of the Acute Appendicitis group with Perforated Appendicitis.

Introduction: The urethral steak is a narrowing of the urethra due to scar tissue, leading to void obstruction dysfunction that has potentially serious consequences on the entire urinary tract. Urethral strictures can be caused by diagnostic and therapeutic urological procedures. This procedure is often used, in an aging population; therefore, urethral strictures may be able to occur more often. Purpose: Describes the relationship of repeated urethral strictures with the incidence of catheter use. Method: Using literature review studies. This article was created by summarizing the source of information obtained from 11 Indonesian and international articles and journals and one international website published in the period 2011-2021. Result: Urethral stricture is the time when the urethra tightens which results in a decrease or obstruction of urine flow that results in irritation and obstructive voiding symptoms. The use of catheters and other medical instruments for examination of the urinary tract that exceeds the diameter of the urethra can cause ischemia and internal trauma of the urinary tract. Conclusion: There is a relationship between recurrent urethral strictures and catheter use

Introduction: Placenta previa is a disorder that occurs during pregnancy that is characterized by the presence of placental tissue near or covering the cervix. Aim: Examine risk factors and their mechanisms in the formation of placenta previa. Method: This study is a literature review study, that researchers are looking for. Scientific sources were obtained from Google Scholar and Pubmed in the form of textbooks and scientific journals totaling 27 pieces. Results: Placenta previa risk factors, and showed association with advanced maternal age, parity, maternal smoking, infertility treatment, previous cesarean delivery, previous placenta previa, and recurrent abortion. Among these risk factors, some have increased over the past decade including cesarean section rates, advanced maternal age, and the number of women undergoing infertility treatment. Placenta previa is one of the obstetric emergencies and is a contributor to maternal mortality. Conclusion: That multiparity, a history of previous cesarean sections, and inadequate antenatal care are major risk factors. These risk factors may be useful for screening at-risk mothers. Adverse maternal and perinatal outcomes associated with placenta previa can be reduced by detecting the condition in the antenatal period with ultrasound before it becomes symptomatic.

Introduction: COVID-19 is a new disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 which was discovered in Wuhan, China in 2019 and then became a global pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic contributed to an increase in anxiety, depression, and other stress symptoms, one of which is due to the severity of the symptoms caused during self-isolation. Depression can affect anyone regardless of education, ethnicity, age, income, or marital status, which impacts worsening the course of the disease. Aims: Find out the relationship of depression levels with post-self-isolation COVID-19 symptoms. Method: This type of research is quantitative with an analytical survey research design. Data collection uses interviews and BDI-II questionnaires. The bivariate analysis uses the Spearman correlation test. Result: A correlation value of 0.819, indicating a relationship between depression levels and symptoms in post-self-isolation COVID-19 patients. Conclusion: The relationship is meaningful between depression levels and post-self-isolation COVID-19 symptoms.

Method: This type of research is analytical survey research with a cross-sectional study approach. Results: Showed that mothers who did not exclusively breastfeed their babies as many as 5 people or 15.6% and mothers who gave exclusive breast milk to as many as 27 people or 84.4%. The results of the analysis found that there is a meaningful relationship between the mother's knowledge and attitude toward exclusive breastfeeding. Conclusion: There is a meaningful relationship between the mother's knowledge and attitude toward exclusive breastfeeding. Variations in maternal attitudes and knowledge provide different contributions to exclusive breastfeeding to babies. It is necessary to make efforts to improve maternal knowledge and attitudes through health counseling regarding the importance of exclusive breastfeeding

Background: The promotion of non-smoking behavior in elementary schools is one form of promotion of healthy behavior. Aims: Produce educational media that we're able to stimulate smoking prevention behavior in school-age children. Methods: Research and Development design was used with ADDIE development procedures. The subjects consisted of 15 groups of trial respondents and 20 groups of research respondents, from school-age children in Sananwetan State Primary School 3, Blitar City. The object under study was the quality and effectiveness of the basic level of Tastarok game education media. Retrieval of data was done by interview techniques, questionnaires, and checklists, to measure aspects of the feasibility of the material, graphic engineering, and media effectiveness. Results: The product validation results were declared very feasible to be used as a health promotion media as evidenced by the results of the paired t-test analysis with p=0.000, which means there is a significant difference between the average beliefs in smoking prevention behavior before and after the intervention. Conclusion: Educational media for elementary level tastarok games can improve smoking prevention behavior in children, so health promotion workers are expected to be able to use this educational media in health promotion in schools.

Introduction; Myopia, global health, and quality of life problem concerns visual disturbances and the impact of refractive errors on daily life and the morbidity associated with this ametropia. Myopia is a risk factor for vision problems to permanent blindness. Adolescent myopia usually begins in school, and affected individuals typically face a lifelong burden of optical and financial correction for their myopic condition. Purpose: This literature review aims to provide current information and guidance on myopia management. Methods: This research is a literature review study, and the literature used consists of 33 libraries consisting of 3 national journals and 30 international journals. Results: Several studies show myopia can be managed and controlled with more time outdoors. Outdoor activities and atropine eye drops can prevent and control myopia. It is useful for reducing or slowing the progression of myopia including daily low-dose atropine eye drops, in concentrations ranging between 0.01% and 0.05%. Conclusion: Myopia is a refractive error in which light rays entering the eye parallel to the optical axis are refracted into the retina when the ocular accommodation is relaxed.
