Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of facility management and service quality to soccer sports achievement in the Physical Education, Health, and Recreation Study Program, Sekolah Tinggi Olahraga dan Kesehatan Bina Guna. The research method used is quantitative research. In this study, the object of research is facility management (X1) quality of education services (X2) and sports achievement (Y). The research population was students of the Physical Education, Health, and Recreation Study Program at Sekolah Tinggi Olahraga dan Kesehatan Bina Guna with a total population of 550 students. The sample in this study were 85 people. The data collected are in the form of numbers, written information, oral information and various facts related to the focus of the research obtained through the instrument of distributing questionnaires to 55 students who were used as research samples in the Physical Education, Health, and Recreation Study Program of Sekolah Tinggi Olahraga dan Kesehatan Bina Guna. After processing and analyzing the data, the results obtained are the contribution between facility management and sports achievement and the contribution between service quality and sports achievement. This means that the better the facility management and service quality, the sports achievement will increase.

Abstract

This study aims to explain how far academic supervision can improve teacher performance and explain the obstacles faced in the implementation of academic supervision to improve the performance of physical education subject teachers at SMK in East Ungaran Sub-district, Semarang Regency, Central Java Province. This type of research is descriptive-qualitative research. The subjects of this research are supervisors, principals, and physical education teachers. Data collection techniques were interviewing, observation, and documentation. The instruments in this study were interview guidelines, observation guidelines, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by means of qualitative descriptive analysis, and data validity was determined by triangulation. The results showed that academic supervision can improve the performance of physical education teachers. This can be seen from: (1) The implementation of academic supervision is in accordance with the procedure, namely through the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation. (2) The implementation of academic supervision has a role in the learning process, with the results that teachers are able to prepare lesson plans correctly, use and utilise learning media properly, and activate students through discussions. (3) The obstacles faced during the implementation of academic supervision come from teachers, supervisors, principals, and infrastructure.

Abstract

Athletes are encouraged to balance their energy needs by consuming 55–65% carbohydrates, 20–35% fat, and 12–15% protein. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the association between food and energy sufficiency in Pencak Silat athletes at Bina Guna College of Sports and Health. This study included ten samples of active student athletes from UKM Pencak Silat at Bina Guna College of Sports and Health, aged 18 to 20. This is a qualitative study conducted using a case study design. All data on the degree of energy adequacy of these Pencak Silat athletes was obtained through characteristic interviews and questionnaires completed on a Google form with three 24-hour food recalls. Data collection includes eating habits, eating behaviour, food consumption over three days, exercise intensity, and diet that influences training. The results of the research analysis showed that nutritional status based on BMI ten athletes obtained 100% normal BMI, as well as the level of deficit energy adequacy as many as nine Pencak Silat athletes (90%) and one Pencak Silat athlete had a moderate level of energy adequacy (10%).

Abstract

This study aimed to assess the level of management of sports facilities and teacher services in relation to the effectiveness of physical education in high schools. In this study, the researchers employed a descriptive survey research method. The participants of this study consisted of physical education instructors and eleventh-grade students from public high schools in Banyuwangi Regency, comprising a total of 3500 students. A random sampling procedure was employed, resulting in a sample size of 95 pupils. Two commonly used methods for collecting data are questionnaires and documentation. The author conducted data analysis using various statistical tests, including the correlation coefficient test, the coefficient of determination, the t test, and the F test. Based on the findings of the study, it has been determined that: 1) The school's facility management is deemed adequate; 2) The services rendered by teachers are deemed satisfactory. There is sufficient quality in both facility management and instructor services.

Abstract

The study aims to analyse the management of disability achievements and the factors that support or hinder the development of disability athletes at NPC Makassar City. The achievements made by individuals with disabilities in the field of sports are indeed intriguing to study and examine. The study employed a qualitative research methodology, utilising various data gathering approaches, including observation, interviews, and recording. The research participants included the Head of NPC Makassar City, the Athlete Empowerment Section, the Sports Branch Section, and the Paralympic Athletes. The process of athlete screening is a collaborative effort between SLB sports teachers and the NPC team. The National Paralympic Committee (NPC) monitors the athlete's condition, workplace, and family in order to assess the athlete's progress and achievements. The study's findings suggest that the National Performance Committee (NPC) has the potential to enhance organisational strengthening by means of coordination meetings, facilitating organisations, and executing coaching programmes funded by the regional vernment. The progression of accomplishments among athletes with disabilities NPC assesses SLB for potential athletes and focuses on improving facilities and infrastructure to facilitate achievement coaching, enabling athletes with disabilities to attain success.

Abstract

This research study encompasses various aspects, namely management, execution of coaching programmes, athletes, coaches, facilities, infrastructure, and successes. The researcher seeks to investigate the coaching management practices employed at the club. Academic researchers employ a qualitative descriptive methodology. Data collection employs the procedures of observation, interviews, and documentation. The individuals who provided the research data for this study are administrators, coaches, and athletes affiliated with the Bintang 04 Volleyball Club located in Jambi City. The study included seven participants, consisting of one administrator, three coaches, and eight athletes from the Bintang 04 Volleyball Club located in Jambi City. The study's findings pertain to management processing from multiple perspectives, aligning with the club's established work program. It can be inferred that this group is meticulously organized and has notable accomplishments. The recommendations put forth include: 1) the inclusion of additional personnel in administrative and coaching roles; 2) enhancing the enforcement of athlete accountability in adhering to the prescribed training regimen; 3) establishing collaborative funding arrangements with external entities; 4) aligning the training programme with the external circumstances of athletes; 5) addressing deficiencies in facilities and infrastructure, such as sports facilities; and 6) enhancing achievements to attain national recognition.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of assessing the level of physical fitness of MI Muhammadiyah Cipetir students. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative, and the method applied is survey. The population that became the focus of the research was all MI Muhammadiyah Cipetir students. The research sample consisted of 267 students, selected through the total sampling method. Data collection techniques were carried out through TKJI tests and measurements, including sit-ups, vertical jump, pull-ups, 40 meter sprints, and 600 meter runs. Data analysis used a percentage-based quantitative descriptive statistical approach. The results showed that students' physical fitness level could be categorized as "Excellent" in 2 students (0.75%), "Good" in 68 students (25.47%), "Moderate" in 117 students (43.82%), "Less" in 70 students (26.22%), and "Very Poor" in 10 students (3.75%). Thus, it can be concluded that the level of physical fitness of MI Muhammadiyah Cipetir students in general is in the "Moderate" category.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to test and formulate a recreational sports learning model. The method used is research and development (R&D), using the Contextual Teacing and Learning (CTL) learning model. Qualitative data was collected through instrument development and observation. In addition, data were also collected through interviews, observer lecturers and discussions with other lecturers after the implementation of the model. Data were collected in the form of field notes, discussion notes and interviews, then analyzed according to categories based on the conceptual framework. Furthermore, the data were analyzed through triangulation, including; (1) observation, (2) observation persistence, (3) peer checking, and (4) member checking through discussion. The results of this study are that the values of fair play, leadership, and creativity have been identified as a model, although it is still a tendency, all indicators appear in recreational sports lectures.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is basically to find answers to the problems that have been formulated above, namely how to manage futsal sports management at SMP Negeri 27 Medan so that it can continue to maintain the tradition of winning every tournament. Based on the results of the questionnaire calculations that have been carried out, it is known that the average questionnaire results measure futsal management starting from planning 84.09%, organizing 60.41%, implementing 78.03%, supervising 61.11%. From the results of the questionnaire test, it can be concluded that the extracurricular management of SMP Negeri 27 Medan researchers can conclude that the extracurricular management of futsal SMP Negeri 27 Medan has mostly been implemented with a percentage of 73.57% so extracurricular management is mostly implemented.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of organizational management and athlete coaching on the achievements of East Java Badminton athletes. This study uses primary data in the form of a questionnaire given to respondents with a total of 87 East Java Province Badminton athletes using the simple random sampling method. Based on the results of the study, there is an effect of Organizational Management on the Achievement of East Java Badminton Athletes because the sig t value of the Organizational Management variable is 0.005 < α = 0.05 and tcount> ttable (2.853> 1.198). There is an effect of Athlete Development on the Achievement of East Java Badminton Athletes because the sig value of the Athlete Development variable is 0.002 < α = 0.05 and tcount> t table (3.198 > 1.198). There is an effect of Organizational Management and Athlete Coaching simultaneously on the achievements of East Java Badminton athletes because sig F of 0.000 <0.05 and Fcount of 52.255 is greater than Ftable of 3.95 (39.722> 3.95).
