Abstract

The main issue in this research is whether the power abuse in Corruption is still an absolute competence of Corruption Justice or is shifted into the administrative justice in post-regulation of Government Administration Act. This is a research on normative law that is analytical prescriptive through conceptual approach, statute approach, and case approach. The results of the research showed that the concept of the power abuse in the Government Administration Act theoretically and practically is equal with the concept of power abuse in Corruption Eradication Law. Therefore, those two justices attributively have the absolute competence to examine and determine the elements of power abuse in corruption. However, based on the principle of “lex posteriori derogate legi priori”, the authority to examine and determine the element of power abuse in corruption comes to be the absolute competence of Justice Administrative.

Abstract

Propolis is a product from the honeybee particularly from flowers , leaf buds, plant resins that bee collected as building material. Propolis exerts numerous pharmacological activities such as antioxidant, anti bacterial, anticancer, antifungal, anti inflammatory, antiviral etc. There are growing interest In the food industry in  microencapsulation to protect, isolate or control the release of given substances. Spray drying is one of many methods to encapsulate food ingredients. Microcapsules were produced by a spray-drying technique using of solution of k–carrageenan gum arabic and maltodextrin as the binding materials. In this work, the effects of spray-drying on the encapsulation yield, particle size and total phenolic content of the bioactive components of propolis were determined for different concentration between carrier agent and propolis at volume ratio 1:0,5 1:1, 1:1,5,1. The SEM testing showed that the microcapsules had a regular spherical shape with the size 1 µm. The spray-dried propolis  extract showed high total phenolic content 67,78 mg(GAE)/g extract at ratio 1:2, and the highest yield at concentration ratio between carrier agent and propolis 1:0,5  are 64,7 %.

Abstract

This article aims to understand the complexities behind sustainable peace by employing the frameworks of durable peace theories and recurring conflict theories. The research methodology is a qualitative approach, with a primary focus on literature review. Through a critical analysis of relevant literature, this study adopts an inductive analysis method to identify, comprehend, and synthesize the factors that influence the sustainability of peace in Aceh. This process involves a critical evaluation of previous studies, related theories, and both historical and contemporary data concerning conflict and peace in Aceh. The findings of this research indicate that the sustainability of peace in Aceh cannot be attributed to a single factor. Instead, the results affirm that a combination of several factors plays a role. These factors include: (1) the duration and the level of damage caused by the conflict, which affect community perceptions and desires for peace; (2) the quality of the peace agreement, including provisions that facilitate reconciliation and social integration; and (3) the inclusion of former activists from the Free Aceh Movement (GAM) into the political and social structure, facilitating the transition from conflict to peace.

Abstract

Rainfall measurement data in the field is quite limited, however, satellite data obtained by remote sensing methods are widely available. However, its accuracy must still be tested using observational rainfall data. The objective of this research was to validate GSMaP satellite estimated rainfall data with Automatic Rain Gauge (ARG) rainfall data at rain stations dispersed over Aceh Province's west-central region, as well as to identify the primary drivers for GSMaP data error. ARG and GSMaP data sources. A comparison of GSMaP data accuracy using a combination of Pearson and RMSE tests shows that GSMaP performance is very low in the dry and transition seasons and significantly better in the rainy season. GSMaP, on the other hand, is still unable to offer sufficient precise rainfall estimation data for each season. Meanwhile, a comparison by elevation shows that GSMaP data is not fully reliable.

Abstract

Multinational companies operating in Indonesia face complex challenges in managing human resources due to diverse cultural, regulatory, and economic factors. In response, companies must implement strategic human resource management (HRM) practices that align with both global standards and local demands. This research aims to explore the HRM strategies employed by multinational companies in Indonesia and analyze their effectiveness in enhancing organizational performance and employee engagement. Using a qualitative research approach, in-depth interviews were conducted with HR managers from various multinational firms across different sectors. Data were collected to gain insights into the strategies used to address challenges such as talent acquisition, employee retention, cross-cultural management, and regulatory compliance. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis, focusing on identifying common patterns and unique approaches in HRM practices. The findings reveal that successful HRM strategies in these companies are characterized by adaptability, a strong emphasis on leadership development, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive work environment. Moreover, the integration of local knowledge with global HRM frameworks was found to be a key factor in overcoming the challenges specific to Indonesia’s business landscape. This study provides practical insights for HR practitioners and policymakers in multinational firms, offering a framework for developing HRM strategies that improve both employee satisfaction and organizational competitiveness in Indonesia’s dynamic market.
