This research uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. Data searches were conducted using the google scholar electronic database. Then analyzed descriptively by setting inclusion and exclusion criteria. Based on the results of the study, 3 forms of parenting were obtained, namely democratic, authoritarian, and permissive in shaping character in children. Parents can combine these forms of parenting according to the situation, conditions and the right portion. The character values that can be formed through the combination of parenting are tolerance, independence, polite, religious, respectful, disciplined, caring, adaptable, honest, responsible, confident, hard work, friendly, open attitude, simple, brave, fair, patient, and leadership. Abstract

Early reading and writing skills, or known as early literacy, is crucial for supporting successful reading and writing during school age. Early literacy is closely related to home literacy, as the two influence each other. However, early reading skills remains low in Indonesia. Therefore, the aim of this study is to determine how home literacy affects the early reading skills of preschool children., both with or without controlling for parental age, occupation, and education. The method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method using a multiple regression model approach. The samples in this study consist of preschool children and their parents from Little Bee Moslem Kindergarten and Al Kayyisah Kindergarten. Sampling was determined using multistage random sampling. The results of this study show that, with or without controlling for parents' age, parents' occupation, and parents' education, home literacy affects preschool children's early reading skills. All effects were equally influential, except for the impact of constraints on reading with children and the parents' occupation.

Abstract

Science literacy in early childhood is essential for building scientific understanding and skills that will continue throughout life. This article discusses the use of project learning utilizing loose part media as an effective method to improve children's science literacy. Loose parts, which include a variety of natural and artificial materials that are flexible in their use, provide opportunities for children to be creative and explore science concepts directly. This study uses the Action Research method, this study involves teachers directly in improving classroom learning practices. This study was conducted at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 27 Depok. Data collection techniques were carried out through triangulation (interviews, observation and documentation). The technique used is purposive sampling through project learning, children are involved in the process of identifying problems, planning, data collection, analysis, and presentation of results. This approach encourages critical thinking skills, collaboration, and increases curiosity and creativity. The resulting data is processed using the Miles & Huberman Interactive Model. The results of the implementation of this method show an increase in children's understanding of science concepts and practical skills. Thus, loose parts-based project learning has proven to be an effective means to support science literacy in early childhood.

Abstract

This study aims to see the relationship between fine motor development and pre-writing skills in children aged 4-5. This study uses a quantitative approach in the form of correlation involving 45 children aged 4-5 years in Kindergarten X Palembang. Data collection in the study in the form of observation, questionnaires, and documentation was analyzed using SPPS version 29 to test validity, reliability, normality test, linearity test, and hypothesis test. From the calculation obtained, the value of r count = (0.343), while df = n (45) -2 = 43 with a significant level (0.05). The calculation obtained, r count > r table, shows a relationship between the two variables tested. Following the criteria for hypothesis testing, namely r count > r table, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between fine motor development and pre-writing skills there is a relationship between fine motor development and pre-writing skills of children aged 4-5 years in Kindergarten X Palembang.
