Abstract

Artikel ini berfokus pada bagaimana pengajar bahasa mempunyai potensi untuk menjadi guru professional ketika mereka diberi kesempatan dan memahami konsep professional coaching. Data penelitian didapatkan dari sebuah studi kasus yang diperoleh peneliti dari sebuah perusahaan BUMN ketika mereka melatih perusahaan tersebut, melalui sebuah program terstruktur dengan menggunakan konsep pembentuan coaching team dan pribadi yang professional. Penelitian ini diharapkan bisa membantu para guru dari latar belakang bahasa maupun disiplin ilmu yang lain untuk mengadopsi siklus pembelajaran professional untuk memperbaiki performa pengajaran mereka dikelas maupun diluar kelas. This paper will focus on how language teachers have the potentials to smoothly transform into professional coaches when they are given the right opportunity and understand the concepts of professional coaching. The data of the research are collected from a case study conducted by the researchers while they coached a team from an Indonesian State Company through a structured program using the concepts of personal and team development coaching. The study is expected to help teachers from language teaching background (or any other fields) to adopt professional coaching cycles to improve their teaching performance inside and outside the classrooms.

Abstract

Character development is crucially needed in Indonesia because of continuous moral degradation occurs among Indonesia young generation. It is, however, not and easy for a teacher to accomplish develop character. Teachers and educators, in general, should have solid confidence in order for them to be successful in promoting a good character to their students. Based on this understanding, this study tries to investigate the followings: (1) what is the early childhood teachers’ level of Personal Teacher efficacy (PTE) and general teacher efficacy (GTE) in character education (2) is there any difference early childhood teachers PTE and there GTE in character education with regard to their age, education background, and years of teaching experience. Following a quantitative analysis approach, this study employed descriptive analysis and ANOVA. 115 early childhood teachers based in Kecamatan Gunungpati were involved in this study, the total population of teachers in the Gunungpati was actually 120. However, 5 teachers refused to participate in this study. This study found the followings: (1) would teacher level of Personal teacher efficacy (PTE) and general (GTE) has high in there is and was difference one from another in significantly. (2) In terms of age, highest education, and years of teaching experience there were no significant differences between personal teacher efficacy (PTE) and general teacher efficacy (GTE). Based on these findings, this study suggests(1) further research should be done on a larger or larger subject (2) For further research in order to classify respondents by group category with a distance range that is (3) the research should take into account Indonesian culture which presumably influence teacher self-efficacy(4) enhance teacher professional development(5) for the research should also address early childhood education and professional development specially is aspect of character development.How to citeSugiana, S., & Formen, A. Abstract

Physical education is one of the areas of education that needs to be taught from an early age because the benefits of physical education are enormous for the physical fitness of children. A healthy child will certainly make the child grow and develop optimally and balance the child's brain well. This study aims to determine how the implementation of physical education at PAUD institutions in the Dukuhwaru Sub-District, Tegal Regency. This research is descriptive quantitative research with a survey research type. The population in this study was 87 teachers and the research sample was 30 teachers from 15 kindergarten institutions in the Dukuhwaru Sub-district, Tegal Regency. The data collection method used was a survey in the form of a questionnaire. The sampling technique was using a purposive sampling technique. The results of this study are in details that show the percentage in several aspects including, aspects of the learning curriculum of 76.67% in the good category, the variety of physical education aspects of 80.00% in various categories, aspects of teachers related to understanding, readiness, and competence of 83,33% in the good category, and the physical and infrastructure facilities aspects of the PAUD institution of 83.33% in the adequate category. If the percentage results from each aspect are calculated, a percentage of 80.00% can be obtained, which means that the implementation of physical education at PAUD institutions in the Dukuhwaru Sub-district, Tegal Regency is included in the category that has been carried out well. The conclusion from this research is that the implementation of physical education learning will be carried out well if all the factors that support the learning are fulfilled, especially in the teaching aspect. Because the teacher aspect is the key to determining success in the implementation of physical education learning.

Abstract

This article discusses the social interactions of young santri that occur in Islamic boarding schools between young santri and older people as well as young santri and young santri, and manners in social interaction in Islamic boarding schools. Social interaction is a relationship between individuals or groups that respect and influence each other. Manners become the application and learning that is prioritized in Islamic boarding schools. Manners relate to polite behavior towards others. Islamic boarding schools instill good manners. The objectives of this study were (1) to find out the social interactions of young santri at the AL-Mabrur Kudus Islamic Boarding School (2) how the social interactions regarding the manners of young students in Al-Mabrur Islamic Boarding School. The research method used in this research is a case study with a descriptive qualitative approach. The results showed that the social interactions of young santri aged 6-8 years at the AL-Qudisyyah Islamic boarding school were carried out reciprocally. The language used in everyday interactions is using the Javanese Kromo language. The process of manners with social interaction is in the form of direct teaching from murobbi to students either during jokes or when learning. This article will present a discussion of all forms of social interaction that occur at the Al-Qudisyyah Islamic Boarding School, both between young students and fellow young students or even with older people.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi memberikan kemudahan bagi penggunanya untuk berinteraksi dengan orang lain dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tetapi saat ini tidak sedikit kejahatan di dunia maya terjadi karena adanya media sosial. Media sosial menjadi media yang populer bagi semua kalangan, baik anak-anak, remaja, maupun orang tua. Para orang tua biasanya menggunakan media sosial sebagai tempat membagikan aktivitas yang dilakukan anaknya di dunia nyata. Namun berbagai kemudahan dari penggunaan media sosial terkadang dimanfaatkan orang lain untuk melakukan kejahatan siber. Hal tersebut dapat disebabkan oleh kurangnya pengetahuan orang tua tentang cyber crime serta penggunaan media sosial yang kurang bijak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya hubungan antara pengetahuan orang tua tentang cyber crime dengan intensitas perilaku photo sharing di media sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif korelasional yang memiliki dua skala, yaitu Skala Pengetahuan Orang Tua Tentang Cyber Crime dan Skala Intensitas Perilaku Photo Sharing di Media Sosial. Subjek dalam penelitian ini dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, berjumlah 30 orang tua baik ayah ataupun ibu dengan kriteria memiliki anak usia 0-6 tahun dan memiliki akun facebook. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan observasi terhadap akun facebook orang tua anak. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai koefisien korelasi dari kedua variabel sebesar 0,222 dan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,239 > 0,05. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan orang tua tentang cyber crime tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan intensitas perilaku photo sharing di media sosial.

Abstract

Orang tua memiliki peran penting dalam mengasuh anaknya. Mereka membutuhkan pengalaman, informasi, dan perspektif tentang tahapan tumbuh kembang anak, terutama bagi pasangan muda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan gaya pengasuhan oleh pasangan muda pada wilayah pedesaan dan perkotaan khususnya Desa Krasak dan Desa Cikakak Kabupaten Brebes. Penelitian menggunakan jenis kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Proses pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen lembar observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik keabsahan data berupa triangulasi pengambilan data dan triangulasi waktu. Analisisis data yang di gunakan mengacu pada analisis Miles Huberman tentang alur analisis kontekstual yang meliputi 3 prosedur yaitu: (1) kondensasi data (2) menampilkan data (3) menggambar dan memverifikasi kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan gaya pengasuhan pasangan muda baik Desa Krasak dan Desa Cikakak di lakukan secara authoritative (demokratis) yang memberikan kebutuhan anak, kehangatan, kasih sayang, dan komunikasi yang bagus. Pasangan muda juga mendapatkan dukungan dari orang tuanya dalam kegiatan pengasuhan anak.
