Abstract

Purpose: This study aimed at determining the relationship between sleep quality and the occurrence of increased blood pressure in preoperative patients. Methods: The research method is the quantitative method with a correlational study approach. The sampling technique used was purposing sampling with a total of 68 respondents according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data collection method was the observational analytic method and the data analysis used the Eta correlation test. Results: The results of the Eta correlation test to find out the relationship between sleep quality and increased blood pressure showed a p-value of 0.003<0.05 meaning that there was a significant relationship between sleep quality and increased blood pressure. The majority of the respondents had bad sleep quality as many as 36 respondents (52.9%) and most of them who had an increase in blood pressure of 20-50% were 36 respondents (52.9%). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between sleep quality and increased blood pressure in preoperative patients. The results of the Eta test showed a p-value of 0.003 indicating a significant relationship between sleep quality and increased blood pressure.

Abstract

The aim of this research was for the author to be able to implement comprehensive midwifery care according to midwifery service standards for pregnant women, maternity, BBL, neonates, postpartum and family planning with SOAP documentation. The method for taking this case was a descriptive approach and midwifery management using Continuity of Care for Mrs. S aged 36 years at the Watumalang Community Health Centerand KRT Hospital. Setjonegoro Wonosobo start March 14, 2024 - April 27, 2024.During the implementation, 3 pregnancy assessments were carried out and the problem of pregnant women with obesity was found, during delivery the mother experienced problems with rupture of cloudy membranes accompanied by PU (+), in BBL and neonates problems were found asphyxiated birth babies then hypoglycemia and ineffective breastfeeding occurred, in 4 No problems were found during postpartum visits, and the mother chose to use implant birth control. Midwifery care for pregnant women with a high risk of pregnancy ≥35 years accompanied by obesity carried out on Mrs. S, 36 years old, has received treatment and management according to midwifery care standards.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the relationship between nurses' knowledge of patient safety and compliance with fall risk assessment implementation. Methods: This study uses a correlational observational method with a cross-sectional design on 41 nurses in the Cempaka and Bougenvile wards through total sampling technique. Data were collected once using a questionnaire, and the relationship between variables was analyzed using the Rank-Spearman test. Results: The analysis using the Rank Spearman test with the help of SPSS version 30.0 program showed a Correlation Coefficient value of 0.440 and a p-value of 0.002. This indicates a relationship between knowledge of patient safety and compliance in conducting fall risk assessments in the Cempaka and Bougenvile Inpatient Rooms at RSUD KRT. Setjonegoro Wonosobo. The value of the correlation coefficient indicates a moderate or fairly strong relationship with a positive direction. Conclusion: There was a relationship between knowledge of patient safety and compliance with fall risk assessment implementation at RSUD KRT. Setjonegoro Wonosobo in the Cempaka and Bougenvile Inpatient Wards.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes and behavior in facing menopause in premenopausal mothers at the Krapyak Elderly Posyandu, Semarang City. This type of research is correlation study research with quantitative methods. This research design uses a cross-sectional approach. The population was all premenopausal mothers at the Krapyak Elderly Posyandu, totaling 85 people. The sample was 70 respondents using purposive sampling technique. The research results showed that the majority were 47 years old, 27 respondents (38.6%); most had a high school education, 39 respondents (55.7%); mostly private, 26 respondents (37.1%); most of the knowledge was lacking as many as 29 respondents (41.4%); most of the attitudes were not good as many as 31 respondents (44.3%); most of the behavior is lacking as many as 37 respondents (52.9%); there is a relationship between knowledge and behavior in facing menopause in premenopausal mothers at Posyandu for the Elderly Krapyak Semarang because the p value (0.000) is smaller than 0.05; There is a relationship between attitudes and behavior in facing menopause in premenopausal mothers at Posyandu for the Elderly Krapyak Semarang because the p value (0.024) is smaller than 0.05.

Abstract

Objective: Providing comprehensive midwifery care according to midwifery service standards with SOAP documentation. Methodology: The method in taking this case is with a descriptive approach and midwifery management in Continuity of Care on Mrs. H aged 21 years at the Watumalang Wonosobo Health Center from March 9, 2024 to May 3, 2024. Results: The method in taking this case is with a descriptive approach and midwifery management in Continuity of Care on Mrs. H aged 21 years at the Watumalang Wonosobo Health Center from March 9, 2024 to May 3, 2024. Conclusion: Based on the assessment of comprehensive midwifery care, complications were found in pregnancy, namely placenta previa. Midwifery care for pregnant women with placenta previa carried out on Mrs. H aged 21 years has received treatment and management in accordance with midwifery care standards.

Abstract

The Purpose is to provide comprehensive midwifery care carried out in a continuity of care manner. The subject of this report is Mrs. E, 33 years old in the Garung Community Health Center area, where the assessment was carried out from March 9 2024 to April 22 2024. The results of the pregnancy assessment carried out 3 times, it was found that Mrs. E has a high risk of anemia. Maternity Care Mrs. E, no problems were found. BBL Care By. Mrs. E didn't experience any problems. The care of postpartum mothers was assessed 3 times at Postpartum Visit 1 (KF 1), there was a problem, namely Postpartum Anemia. Neonate Care By.Ny.E did not find any problems. Family planning (KB) care has no complications. Conclusion of midwifery care given to Mrs. E using the Continuity Of Care method can reduce the risk of complications in the mother. The suggestion from the study that has been carried out is that Midwifery Services continue to be provided to increase early detection and prevent complication.

Abstract

Background: cancer is a disease characterized by the uncontrolled development of abnormal cells that have the ability to move between cells and body tissues. Breasts are a significant global problem, especially in indonesia. Adolescent girls often have minimal information about breast cancer and carry out breast self-examination (bse). The lack of numbers leads to low bse practice among adolescent girls, even though this method is effective for early detection of breast cancer. Objective: this study aims to determine the effectiveness of health education on breast self-examination or awareness on increasing knowledge among them. Method: this research uses quantitative methods, with a pre-experimental design, one group pre-test and post-test. The population in this study was 40 young women at the nurul hikmah islamic boarding school, tuwel village, tegal regency, the sample was selected with Results: this study concluded that health education about breast self-examination (bse) influence on increasing knowledge in young women with asymp scores. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0,000. Conclusion: Health education about sadari influences the level of knowledge in adolescents.

Abstract

Hypertension patients must routinely take hypertension medication, control blood pressure and change lifestyles that are at risk of worsening hypertension. This condition sometimes causes stress for hypertension patients. The study aims to determine the effect of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) therapy on blood pressure and stress levels in hypertension patients in Bluto. The research design was analytical with a one group pre-posttest design. This study involved 32 respondents with a sampling technique of simple random sampling. The instrument for measuring blood pressure was a sphygmomanometer and to measure stress level used the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) questionnaire. The test used was the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that blood pressure after MBSR therapy in most respondents decreased compared to blood pressure before MBSR therapy were 18 respondents (56.25%). The stress level after MBSR therapy in hypertension patients was mostly in the moderate category namely 19 respondents (59.4%). The results of the pretest-posttest data analysis of blood pressure and stress levels using the Wilcoxon test were the same, with ρValue = 0.000 and α = 0.05. Because ρValue <α, there is an effect of MBSR therapy on blood pressure and stress levels in hypertension patients in Bluto. MBSR therapy expectedly can reduce blood pressure and stress levels in hypertension patients.

Abstract

The worldwide maternal mortality rate (MMR) in 2020 was 223/100,000 KH and the IMR in 2020 was 27,975 per 1,000 live births (WHO, 2023). The government's efforts to reduce MMR and IMR with CoC are to provide continuous midwifery care with the SOAP method. The goal is to provide Comprehensive Midwifery Care that is carried out in Continuity of Care. The sample in the study is Mrs. M aged 37 years who will be studied from pregnancy, childbirth, LBW, postpartum and family planning. The implementation of case taking from March 14, 2024 to May 04, 2024. The results of research on pregnancy which was examined 3 times, found that Mrs. M had a high risk of pregnancy at the age of ≥35 years and hypertension in pregnancy. In Maternity Care Mrs. M experienced complications, namely precipitatus labor. There was no problem in the care of LBW. In Neonate Care, there was a problem, namely the baby had Neonatorum jaundice on day 10. In postpartum care and family planning there are no problems. The conclusion of this assessment is that midwifery care for pregnant women with high risk pregnancy ≥35 years and hypertension in pregnancy carried out on Mrs. M aged 37 years has received treatment and management according to midwifery care standards.

Abstract

Purpose: This study is to determine the effect of disaster evacuation technique demonstrations on the knowledge level of SMA Muhammadiyah Kasihan students on earthquake disaster risk management. Methods: The research employed a quantitative methodology using a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The study's population comprised of 51 students from SMA Muhammadiyah Kasihan, selected by total sampling technique. The research utilized a questionnaire regarding disaster evacuation techniques. The Wilcoxon test was employed for data analysis. Results: Before to the intervention, the demonstration of disaster evacuation techniques indicated that most respondents possessed a sufficient level of knowledge; after to the intervention, most of them demonstrated an excellent level of knowledge. The Wilcoxon test yielded a p-value of 0.000 (<0.005). Conclusion: The demonstration of disaster victim evacuation techniques affects the knowledge level of SMA Muhammadiyah Kasihan students regarding earthquakes disaster risk management.
