Abstract

Rejection of Pancasila can be used as the main measure of radicalism. This is due to the benchmark that if radical circles can accept Pancasila, then state development and nationalist values ​​will be accepted. Therefore, acceptance of Pancasila is the main condition for efforts to deradicalize religion. The emergence of radicalism arises from a lack of understanding regarding national ideology. If an understanding of Pancasila is developed, then radicalism logically shifts to moderation. This article aims to elaborate on the role of Pancasila in overcoming radical actions in the name of religion in Indonesia. The method used in writing this article is through literature review. The author explores various sources related to the study topic. The sources in question are books, journals and online media. The results of the study show that in the current era of globalization, Pancasila as an open ideology is confronted with various world ideologies, including transnational Islamic ideology which sometimes carries out violent actions to achieve its goals. However, the government must not be defeated by this ideology, and must continue to maintain Pancasila as the ideology of the Indonesian State, because Pancasila is the result of tracing various wisdom that has lived and developed in Indonesia since the archipelago era in the past.

Abstract

 Berpikir historis merupakan keterampilan yang sangat penting dalam pembelajaran sejarah, khususnya bagi siswa yang mempelajari disiplin ilmu ini. Salah satu tantangan utama dalam pendidikan sejarah saat ini adalah kurangnya penguasaan keterampilan berpikir historis di kalangan siswa. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan urgensi keterampilan berpikir historis bagi siswa dalam mempelajari sejarah. Melalui pengembangan berpikir historis, siswa mampu mempelajari sejarah dengan cara yang lebih bermakna, serta memperoleh keterampilan analisis yang relevan dengan tantangan dunia modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian pustaka untuk menggambarkan pentingnya berpikir historis dalam pembelajaran sejarah dan memberikan rekomendasi strategis bagi para pendidik untuk mengintegrasikan konsep ini ke dalam pengajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penguatan keterampilan berpikir historis dapat membantu siswa memahami sejarah sebagai disiplin ilmu yang dinamis dan relevan dengan kehidupan kontemporer, sehingga mendorong mereka untuk menjadi individu yang lebih kritis, reflektif, dan berkontribusi positif bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

Berpikir historis merupakan keterampilan yang sangat penting dalam pembelajaran sejarah, khususnya bagi siswa yang mempelajari disiplin ilmu ini. Salah satu tantangan utama dalam pendidikan sejarah saat ini adalah kurangnya penguasaan keterampilan berpikir historis di kalangan siswa. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan urgensi keterampilan berpikir historis bagi siswa dalam mempelajari sejarah. Melalui pengembangan berpikir historis, siswa mampu mempelajari sejarah dengan cara yang lebih bermakna, serta memperoleh keterampilan analisis yang relevan dengan tantangan dunia modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian pustaka untuk menggambarkan pentingnya berpikir historis dalam pembelajaran sejarah dan memberikan rekomendasi strategis bagi para pendidik untuk mengintegrasikan konsep ini ke dalam pengajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penguatan keterampilan berpikir historis dapat membantu siswa memahami sejarah sebagai disiplin ilmu yang dinamis dan relevan dengan kehidupan kontemporer, sehingga mendorong mereka untuk menjadi individu yang lebih kritis, reflektif, dan berkontribusi positif bagi masyarakat.This research is field research using qualitative data. The subjects of this research are the people of Makassar as cultural actors and the subjects of A’matoang, as one of the processions in Makassar ethnic wedding. Preliminary data shows that the social impacts arising from the A’matoang procession in the highland communities of Gowa Regency are simplified into two categories. First: Direct impact, (1) verbal rejection (accepting the gift) from the groom's family; (2) the emergence of offense on the part of the groom's family, who are forced to accept the gift of goods, due to economic limitations; (3) material changes occur, from household goods to money; and (4) the practice of suicide among brides (women), due to a misunderstanding in giving meaning to the word Ammaliangnggang as a response to the A’matoang procession. Second: Indirect impacts, (1) there is a compromise between the bride and groom's families, when agreeing to start the wedding procession; and (2) there are no concrete guidelines regarding wedding processions in Makassar society.The social impact of the A’matoang procession is a sign that Makassar ethnic wedding processions do not have to comply with traditional rules. The wedding procession continues to be constructed by cultural actors themselves. The sequence of the wedding procession can be compromised, so as to make things easier for both sides of the bride and groom's family.

Abstract

Akkammi’ batara is a tradition of farming communities in general and the Tritiro community in particular. Akkammi Batarais an activity carried out by farming communities to maintain their gardens, a practice that has been ongoing for a long time until now. This paper aims to understand the process, function, and value of the akkammi' batara tradition. The method used is a descriptive method employing qualitative data. Qualitative data were obtained through observations, interviews with several informants, and data from documents. Observation was conducted by examining how the community's behavior is related to the akkami batara tradition. Observing their behavior starting from the preparation stage, implementation, and related aspects such as specific behaviors at certain times. Including when they leave and how they do it. To complement the data from observations, the researchers also collected field data by conducting interviews with several informants. The informants in this case are farmers who still practice the akkammi’ batara’ tradition to this day, as well as community members who were once actively involved in this tradition. Then, document data is used by the researcher in the form of documents owned by the village government related to data on the area of agricultural land and agricultural yields. This data helps researchers understand the research subject, including understanding the social conditions of the local community. The research results show that the process of akkammi’ batara’ has stages, namely (1) building or repairing the barrier wall or fence, (3) installing traps/sarombe at the edge of the barrier fence, (4) installing tools to repel wild boars and monkeys such as gare’do and lapa-lapa (sound-producing tools), pa’ boang (scarecrows), (5) inserting sappi’ (aromatic pest repellent tools) and scattering fresh leaves or branches (pangompo’) on the outer part of the barrier.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of managerial supervision and principal motivation on the performance of productive teachers at SMK Negeri 2 Prabumulih. The approach used in this research is quantitative with a survey method. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to 50 productive teachers at the school. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression to examine the influence of managerial supervision and principal motivation on productive teacher performance. The results of the research show that managerial supervision has a positive and significant influence on productive teacher performance, as does the motivation of the school principal which also has a positive and significant influence. Simultaneously, these two variables make a significant contribution to increasing the performance of productive teachers at SMK Negeri 2 Prabumulih. Based on the results of this research, it is recommended that school principals improve the quality of managerial supervision and motivation of teachers to support the achievement of better performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know (1) the influence of the leadership of the school principal and the infrastructure jointly toward the teacher performance. (2) The influence of the school principal leadership and the infrastructure partially toward teacher performance. The research type of explanatory research using quantitative approach. The subject of this research is all the teachers from two units of public vocational high schools in Prabumulih city namely SMK Negeri 1 Prabumulih and SMK Negeri 2 Prabumulih numbered 45 respondents with the sample census technique. Data analysis methods using descriptive analysis and multiple linier regressions analysis compounds with the help of the program Statistical Package for the social sciences 22 (SPSS). The results of the study showed that the 1) is the influence of the school principal leadership and the infrastructure jointly toward teacher performance with the F test 29,620. This means that the school principal leadership and the infrastructure jointly synergized to realize of the teachers performance that are increasingly high. 2) There is a positive and significant impact the leadership of the school principal and the infrastructure partially toward teacher performance. That is a positive and significant impact on the school principal leadership toward teacher’s performance proved by the value of the t test 3,587. This means that the better the leadership of the school principal so that the teachers are also increasingly high performance. There is a positive and significant impact on the performance of the infrastructure of the teachers is proved by the value of the t test 2,801. This means that the more complete the infrastructure of schools and teacher performance will increase.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of the principal's leadership and work motivation on job satisfaction at SMK Negeri 2 Prabumulih. This research uses a quantitative approach with survey methods. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 50 teachers at SMK Negeri 2 Prabumulih. Data analysis was carried out using multiple regression techniques to test the influence of the independent variables (school principal leadership and work motivation) on the dependent variable (job satisfaction). The research results show that the principal's leadership has a significant positive influence on job satisfaction, as well as work motivation which also has a positive influence on job satisfaction. Simultaneously, these two variables make a significant contribution to the level of job satisfaction at the school. This research provides recommendations so that school principals can pay more attention to the leadership style applied and increase teacher work motivation in order to increase overall job satisfaction.

Abstract

Investasi emas syariah menjadi pilihan yang semakin diminati oleh masyarakat Muslim karena memberikan jaminan sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip hukum Islam, seperti bebas dari riba, gharar (ketidakpastian), dan maysir (perjudian). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi investasi emas syariah berdasarkan hukum Islam dengan mengacu pada prinsip-prinsip utama syariah, termasuk adanya akad yang sah, transparansi, dan keadilan dalam transaksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis, mengkaji literatur, fatwa DSN-MUI, ayat Al-Qur’an, dan hadis yang relevan untuk memberikan landasan hukum syariah dalam investasi emas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa investasi emas syariah dapat dilakukan melalui berbagai skema, seperti pembelian tunai, cicilan syariah, tabungan emas syariah, reksa dana berbasis emas, dan platform digital, asalkan memenuhi ketentuan syariah. Skema ini harus menjamin keberadaan fisik emas, transparansi harga, dan penggunaan akad yang jelas seperti murabahah, wakalah, atau ijarah. Prinsip utama dalam investasi ini adalah menghindari unsur riba dan spekulasi serta memastikan bahwa transaksi memberikan manfaat dan keberkahan. Dengan pengawasan dari Dewan Pengawas Syariah, investasi emas syariah dapat menjadi alternatif yang aman dan sesuai bagi umat Islam. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan edukasi masyarakat dan pengembangan regulasi untuk mendorong pertumbuhan investasi emas berbasis syariah.

Abstract

English Language Teaching and Learning Model is very essential to improve Students’ English skill. Kampung Inggris PALI has shown effectiveness to improve students’ English speaking skill. Most of the activities both inside and outside of the classroom support the students’ English Speaking Skill, such as repeating word-phrase, simple short question-answer, translation, simple dictation, Sentence Drilling, and English speaking games. Students learn English with high motivation, with higher extrinsic motivation than intrinsic motivation. As the first issue, the owner and tutor of Kampung Inggris PALI has no information about what model of English Teaching and Learning they use effectively not only to gain but also to improve English Speaking Skill, luckily the tutors manage a well-managed role as a teacher to support the speaking activities. The second issue is the class have been attended by various of age, though they provide at least three different category of class: Young Learner Class, Adolescent Learner Class, and Adult Learner Class. The third issue is there is no formal and written lesson plan with the support of a written syllabus for all classes. Last, the fourth issue is to give a more cultural context and job requirement context as the content of English Language Teaching and Learning Model

Abstract

This research aimed to find out students’ responses to the activities presented in the classroom after the implementation of Paragraph Shrinking Strategy to improve reading comprehension. This research was carried out to the first grade students in one of junior high school in Aceh. The data collected by questionnaire, then tabulated in Microsoft Excel and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that students’ responses to the implementation of Paragraph Shrinking Strategy were positive, as Paragraph Shrinking Strategy is effective in improving reading comprehension.
