Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has accelerated the transformation of education into more flexible and massive virtual models. However, this shift also presents serious challenges related to the erosion of humanistic values caused by technocratic approaches. In Indonesia, Pancasila as the state ideology and philosophical foundation offers an ethical and humanistic framework that can guide educational practices to remain learner-centered and human-oriented. This study aims to examine how the values of Pancasila, particularly humanism, can be integrated into the design and implementation of virtual education, as well as to identify the challenges and opportunities emerging in the process. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quasi-experimental design in online classes with qualitative analysis through interviews, focus group discussions, and document analysis. The findings indicate that integrating Pancasila-humanism values into virtual learning modules significantly enhances empathy, ethical awareness, and the quality of student interactions without reducing academic performance. Major challenges include limited lecturer competence in embedding philosophical values, student resistance, and infrastructural constraints. In conclusion, Pancasila remains relevant and applicable as a moral foundation to ensure that the digital transformation of education does not merely emphasize efficiency but also safeguards humanistic dimensions. The study recommends lecturer training, digital education policies based on Pancasila values, and further research on humanistic learning models in the digital era.

Abstract

The development of educational technology in the digital age brings great opportunities for improving the quality of learning, but also poses the risk of dehumanization if humans are positioned solely as objects of the technological system. Pancasila, as the philosophical foundation of the Indonesian nation, provides a normative and philosophical framework to ensure that the use of educational technology remains oriented towards human dignity through philosophical and normative review. This study emphasizes that the principles of Pancasila, such as just and civilized humanity, social justice, and deliberation, are important foundations in developing a humanistic educational technology paradigm. Thus, the humanization of educational technology is not only technically adaptive, but also internalizes the values of Pancasila to create an inclusive, ethical, and equitable learning process.

Abstract

Digital globalization has brought significant transformations in education while simultaneously posing serious challenges to the sustainability of Pancasila values as the foundation of national life. This article aims to critically analyze the interaction between Pancasila, technology, and education in addressing the dynamics of digital globalization in Indonesia. The study employs a qualitative literature review method, using normative–philosophical analysis and critical examination of educational policies and digital technology practices. The findings reveal that although digital technology expands access to education and enhances learning effectiveness, it also carries the risks of value erosion, rising individualism, and cultural penetration that may weaken Pancasila-based character. The critical analysis emphasizes the urgency of integrating Pancasila values into digital curricula, promoting technology literacy grounded in Pancasila ethics, and strengthening the role of educators in cultivating national identity in the global era. The study concludes that a synergistic interaction among Pancasila, technology, and education is essential to safeguarding national values while harnessing the opportunities of digital globalization for Indonesia’s progress.

Abstract

Social media has increasingly become a primary source of religious information accessed by Muslim adolescents. Religious content delivered through platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube tends to be more engaging and easy to understand, which can enhance interest in learning religion. However, not all information available on social media is accurate or derived from qualified sources, potentially leading to shallow, biased, or misleading religious understanding. Based on the literature review, social media exerts both positive and negative influences on the religious comprehension of Muslim youth. Therefore, religious digital literacy and guidance from families, educators, and religious institutions are required to ensure that the process of learning religion through social media remains structured and accountable.

Abstract

The development of science and technology in the digital era has brought significant transformation to sharia accounting practices. This research analyzes Islam's role in directing science and technology development for sharia accounting in the digital era through qualitative literature study. Results show that digital technologies such as blockchain, AI, big data, and cloud computing enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability in sharia accounting. Main challenges include limited competent human resources, different standards across countries, technology adaptation difficulties, and inadequate regulations. Islam plays a fundamental role through ijtihad concept encouraging innovation and ethical principles (honesty, justice, transparency, accountability) as the foundation for technology development. The research emphasizes stakeholder collaboration importance to develop technology-based sharia accounting systems aligned with Islamic values, recommending digital literacy improvement, standards harmonization, regulatory development, and technology-based education strengthening.

Abstract

The development of social media platforms has changed the way Muslim teenagers form their identities, gain recognition from their communities, and express their religiosity. The phenomenon of seeking ‘likes’ as a form of digital recognition often conflicts with Islamic principles that emphasize sincerity, humility, and a life goal oriented towards pleasing Allah. In this study, researchers applied a Systematic Literature Review approach by analyzing 21 scientific articles related to adolescent digital behavior, religious identity, mental health, religious literacy, and Islamic ethics in the use of social media. The findings indicate that the culture of seeking likes can cause social pressure, anxiety, digital riya' (showing off), image competition, and a superficial understanding of religion. However, social media can also serve a positive function as a means of religious education, creative da'wah (proselytizing), and character development when used properly. It was found that the main challenge for teenagers is not the technology itself, but their ability to manage their intentions, maintain spiritual integrity, and understand that self-worth is not determined by popularity in the virtual world, but by moral character and efforts to earn God's pleasure. This study emphasizes the importance of Islamic-based digital literacy, the role of guidance from parents and educators, and the implementation of sincerity in facing changes in social media culture.

Abstract

Stunting is one of the global nutritional challenges and problems currently faced by communities worldwide. The impact of stunting is not limited to short stature but also includes impaired intellectual, cognitive, and motor development and may even reduce productivity, leading to economic losses in the future. The World Health Assembly has set an ambitious target to reduce the global prevalence of stunting by 40% by 2025. This research objective is to determine the effect of local supplementary feeding on the nutritional status of stunted toddlers in Wonosari Village, Gadingrejo Sub-district, Pringsewu Regency, in 2025. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research design. The study population consisted of 10 stunted toddlers, selected using a total sampling technique. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test to determine the effect of local PMT on the nutritional status of stunted toddlers. The research was conducted in the working area of Wonosari Village, Gadingrejo Sub-district, from September to October 2025. The results showed that the mean z-score of toddlers before the provision of PMT was −2.5530, and after the intervention, it became −2.0960. The Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test yielded a p-value of 0.415 (p > 0.05), indicating that there was no statistically significant difference in z-scores before and after the provision of local PMT. Nevertheless, the toddlers’ body weight still increased during the intervention period. It is expected that parents will continue to provide balanced, nutritious foods and routinely monitor their children’s growth to achieve optimal improvements in nutritional status.

Abstract

This research examines how the strength of Naposobulung HKBP as a religious group is used as a tool for interests by local political actors in the 2024 Pematangsiantar City elections. This research aims to describe the mechanisms, motivations, and impacts of utilizing Naposobulung as a political tool. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The research results show that local political actors implement various strategies both symbolically and materially based on the Dalihan na Tolu philosophy to gain moral legitimacy and cultural solidarity from Naposobulung. Political actors utilize church social networks, diaconal activities, and community values to build voter loyalty, while youth groups experience an increase in social roles along with the risk of religious politicization. However, in the 2024 regional elections, there was a significant decline in the practical role of Naposobulung due to weak internal consolidation and the church leaders' stance of limiting political activities, although the cultural solidarity values based on the Dalihan na Tolu philosophy were still preserved. The socio-religious potential of this group has not been completely lost; with the reorganization of functions, strengthening of internal coordination, and the opening of political dialogue spaces by church leaders, Naposobulung can once again support participatory democracy. Recommendations include adapting mobilization strategies, enhancing political literacy among youth, and formulating internal church policies that balance religious roles and democratic interests.
