Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the quality of learning and religious guidance in early childhood through the implementation of activities at Aisyiyah Kindergarten, Mentoring at TPQ Al-Kautsar Mosque, and participating in routine recitation with the community in Pabelan, Kartasura. The methods applied are educational and participatory with an interactive approach, such as coloring activities, playing while learning, storytelling, guidance in reading the Koran and memorizing short letters. The results of this activity show an increase in children's creativity and enthusiasm for children's involvement in the learning process so as to create a more active and conducive learning atmosphere and interest in religious activities. In addition to having a positive impact on the community, this activity also provides direct experience for students in implementing religious values, building character and fostering social care. It can be concluded that this community service activity succeeded in creating positive changes in the management of education in Aisyiyah Kindergarten and TPQ, and made a valuable contribution to routine recitation activities.

Abstract

This community service aims to increase understanding and awareness of the community, especially the younger generation in Makamhaji Village, regarding the importance of digital journalistic literacy based on Muhammadiyah values. This activity also aims to instill an Islamic spirit, strengthen Islamic character from an early age, and develop media skills ethically and responsibly. The service was carried out in seven meetings, starting with the Aisyah Recitation activity which instills spiritual values, continued with the Ahad Pon Recitation regarding the importance of brotherhood and knowledge, as well as teaching activities at TPQ Ar-Rahman to strengthen children's character through memorizing short surahs. Digital journalism activities are carried out by providing news writing training and counseling regarding the importance of maintaining privacy on social media. The next meeting was filled with Monday Pon Recitation regarding the door to sustenance, HPT Muhammadiyah Study regarding the implementation of Eid al-Adha, and ended with follow-up activities at TPQ. All activities are integrated with an educational approach and Muhammadiyah values ​​that encourage people to become smarter, more moral and adaptive to digital developments.

Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of Field Work Practice and Community Service (PKL-P) held at the Muhammadiyah Branch Leadership (PRM) Jayengan. The purpose of this program is to achieve two main things: first, to provide students with the opportunity to gain real experience in implementing Muhammadiyah values in society; second, to actively contribute to strengthening and empowering the PRM Jayengan community through programs that are in accordance with local needs. The implementation of PKL-P uses a qualitative approach by conducting direct observations, in-depth interviews with community leaders and PRM members, and collecting documents related to activities. The focus of this service is the renewal of religious studies and improving the quality of Al-Qur'an education at the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPA). The results of this activity show that PKL-P students are able to identify challenges and potentials in PRM Jayengan, and have succeeded in implementing various community service programs that have a positive impact, such as increasing congregation participation in routine religious studies and optimizing TPA activities. In addition, this program has also succeeded in increasing collective awareness of the importance of PRM's role in fostering society. In conclusion, the Muhammadiyah internship program at PRM Jayengan not only provides valuable experience for students, but also provides direct contribution to strengthening the preaching and empowerment of the Muhammadiyah community.

Abstract

The Al-Qur’an Reading and Writing (BTQ) program in Ngadirejo Village is not merely a routine religious activity, but a strategic tool for instilling core Muhammadiyah values within the local community. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this study explores how BTQ activities organized by Muhammadiyah cadres and community members contribute significantly to the reinforcement of modern Islamic movement ideologies. The key values promoted include monotheism (tauhid), discipline, social responsibility, and a spirit of enlightening dakwah. These BTQ activities, particularly in local Qur’anic education centers (TPA) and weekly Islamic studies, have cultivated a culture of cooperation, regular worship practices, and internalization of Islamic ethics among children and parents alike. Supported by an inclusive social environment and the active role of PRA/PRM Ngadirejo, BTQ has proven to be an effective medium for ideological cadre formation at the grassroots level. This paper recommends replicating and expanding such initiatives on a broader scale with structured and sustainable methods.

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to integrate spiritual development and early childhood education through Field Work Practice (PKL) activities carried out at the Muhammadiyah Tegalharjo Mosque and Kindergarten, Surakarta. Based on the situation analysis, there are still limitations in strengthening spiritual values ​​and learning methods that are fun and appropriate for children's development. The problems faced include the lack of an integrated approach between religious education and early childhood cognitive development. Activity methods include observation, interviews, designing integrated learning programs, implementing educational activities such as Islamic thematic learning, play while learning activities, and strengthening character through exemplary stories and the habit of daily worship. The results of the activity show an increase in children's enthusiasm in participating in spiritual and learning activities, as well as an increase in teacher involvement in implementing a holistic approach. The discussion shows that an integrative approach between spiritual and early childhood education is effective in instilling moral values ​​and a love of religious activities from an early age. This activity also has a positive impact on increasing teacher capacity in designing meaningful and contextual learning. In conclusion, the integration of spiritual formation and early education through PKL activities can be an alternative model of values ​​and character-based learning for early childhood education institutions.

Abstract

The Field Practice and Professional Service (PKLPP) activity at Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an (TPA) Masjid Baiturrahim, Danukusuman, was conducted to improve children’s ability to read and memorize the Qur’an as well as to instill Islamic values from an early age. Students were actively involved in the learning process by applying various methods such as delivering engaging materials, holding interactive quizzes, conducting ice-breaking activities, and giving rewards to enhance learning motivation. The results indicated an increase in children’s enthusiasm and participation during the Qur’an learning sessions. Furthermore, this activity provided practical experience for students in developing teaching skills within a community setting. This program is expected to support the formation of children’s religious character and improve the quality of learning at the TPA.

Abstract

Understanding and implementing Muhammadiyah values from an early age is very important to shape the character of every child in the Tegalharjo area so that they have noble morals and have an Islamic soul. The purpose of this study is to implement Muhammadiyah values through learning and religious activities at TK Aisyiyah 41 Tegalharjo.The method used in this research is a qualitative method, namely by collecting data through direct interviews with local residents, observation, and documentation.The results of this study show that Muhammadiyah values have been instilled by local residents from an early age,one of them is in teaching at Aisyiyah 41 Tegalharjo Kindergarten with the habit of reading Iqra', training in reading prayers, introduction to Muhammadiyah figures, memorizing daily prayers, and norms that exist in Muhammadiyah.Apart from religious activities, Muhammadiyah values are also applied in learning by painting calligraphy, learning to write Arabic letters, and learning about manners between fellow human beings.This implementation not only involves early childhood and teachers at Aisyiyah 41 Tegalharjo Kindergarten, but also the parents of the kindergarten students.Thus, it is hoped that Muhammadiyah values will continue to be instilled from an early age and will not be lost due to developments in the era. and the activities carried out can be an effective means of instilling Muhammadiyah values at an early age.

Abstract

The Community Service and Learning Field Practice (PKLPP) program at Anni’mah Mosque, Kemlayan, was implemented as a student initiative to strengthen religious character education within the community. The main activities included mentoring at the Qur’anic Learning Center (TPA) and participating in the Sunday morning religious study sessions. Mentoring was conducted collaboratively with local teachers by providing guidance in reading the Qur’an, Iqra’, memorizing short surahs, and daily prayers. Students also engaged in Sunday study sessions to observe communicative preaching methods used in the community. The results showed an increase in students’ learning interest, although challenges such as a shortage of permanent teachers and declining youth participation due to digital distractions remain. This program is expected to foster synergy between students, mosque management, TPA teachers, parents, and the community in shaping a Qur’anic generation with noble character.

Abstract

This community service study examines the moral crisis affecting youth around Baiturrahim Mosque in Danukusuman and develops a participatory da’wah strategy to address it. The approach comprised participatory observation, collaborative planning with stakeholders, and implementation of a Qur’anic Education Program integrating tazkiyah al-nafs, interactive pedagogy, historical storytelling, and multicultural modules. Outcomes reveal increased enthusiasm and discipline among participants, enhanced comprehension of core Islamic values, and strengthened emotional bonds between youth and instructors. The discussion highlights the efficacy of an integrative theoretical framework—combining mental well-being, experiential learning, and multicultural education—as a sustainable contextual da’wah model. These findings recommend replicating this strategy in other religious institutions to rejuvenate youth character and spirituality in the modern era.

Abstract

The use of digital surveillance technology by the state continues to increase along with advances in information technology and the need for national security. However, this practice raises complex ethical and legal issues, particularly related to the right to privacy, freedom of expression, and the potential for abuse of power. This article aims to analyze the ethical dilemmas and legal basis in the application of digital surveillance technology by the state, using a normative approach and case studies in several countries, including Indonesia. The discussion focuses on the limitations of state authority in conducting surveillance, testing the principles of proportionality and accountability, and the importance of regulations that protect civil rights in the digital era. The results of the study show that although digital surveillance can increase the effectiveness of law enforcement and security, its use must be strictly limited by transparent laws and independent oversight mechanisms. This article recommends the establishment of a national legal framework that balances security interests and human rights protection, in order to prevent repressive surveillance practices in the digital era.
