Abstract

This writing aims to describe the catechesis method using video as a catechesis method for adolescents in the digital era. This main objective is described in threeobjectives, namely, first, to describe the reality of the digital era as the context oftoday's youth. Second, describe the catechesis methods for youth so far and show theirshortcomings in responding to the digital era. Third, describe the catechesis methodusing video media and show its superiority in catechesis for teenagers in the digital era.This writing is a result of qualitative research with document study researchmethods. The data studied are secondary data in the form of literature related to the variables. Data collection is done by means of documentation or archive techniqueswhere the author searches for and reads various relevant literatures on the studyvariables and conducts studies and quotes various relevant theories and studies toexplore various information and related factual data. Then the data analysis technique iscarried out with a flow model starting from data collection, data reduction, data displayand conclusions. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that he realityof the digital era has influenced today's youth and caused certain characters such asdigitally oriented, practical and instant, confident, loving diversity, having a passion forsharing, hyper customization, driven to success. The catechesis methods that are usuallycarried out with teenagers have so far paid less attention to the digital character withinthem. These methods do not start the catechesis with a description of a concretesituation or if it is made then the description of the situation is not conveyed in aninteresting and touching way. This is not in accordance with the character of today'steenagers who are digitally oriented, like practical and up-to-date things. Catechesiswith video media is a catechetical method that pays attention to the digitalcharacteristics of adolescents. This method uses video as material for catechesis,describing concrete situations, studying the Scriptures, and stimulating the expression ofreal intentions or actions.

Abstract

Indonesia has a motto Bhineka Tunggal Ika. It means unity in diversity. Thismotto binds all of Indonesian people to not to discriminate one nation from another,including race, skin color, religion, language, etc. The proper attitude in plurality is torespect and to appreciate one another. To respect and to appreciate are social basicattitudes that relevant in every encounter and togetherness with the others. Without these attitudes, our lives will be so vapid and full of social tensions because each personjust to prioritize his/her own interests and neglect even spoil the others’ interests.Respect and appreciation are shown by the act of recognition that there are the otherswho need to be noticed beside ourselves. Fraternity is a gift. This gift is a graceful lifethat makes us become Jesus’ brothers and sisters in the family of God. Abstract

he aim of this research is to understand the development of community life and all behavior that exists in a society. Data is collected through interviews, observations, documentation studies where the researcher is the key instrument. The data collection technique was carried out using triangulation (combination), data analysis was inductive, and the results of qualitative research emphasized meaning rather than generalization. The results of research in the field prove that as a prospective catechist, everyone is a believer who proclaims the Good News and the Kingdom of God through the testimony of life and words. Students are called to develop God's mission in the world, whether at school or at the grassroots and elsewhere. As a prospective catechist who later becomes a catechist, he develops the obligation and right to continuously fight for the message of salvation that reaches all nations and transcends all ages. Therefore, character education which is carried out in the community of Fafinesu B Village, especially the Pineul Tribe, is very important and has benefits for every student. By being guided by Jesus Christ as a figure who can be emulated, a student who will be a role model must be able to do good manners, obey discipline, and forgive a lot in the practice of daily life.

Abstract

The Old Testament Scriptures use a number of terms that reveal that the people of the Old Testament were already familiar with education and teaching. These activities were the main activities of schools. The author therefore asks the following questions: Was there a school in the life of the Old Testament people? Why was school important in the life of the Old Testament people? Why were teaching, talking and writing about loving God with all your heart, all your soul and all your strength important in the life of the Old Testament people? These three questions prompted the author to seek out the research objectives of knowing the importance of school in the lives of the Old Testament people, and knowing the benefits of school that were seen as important by the Old Testament people. After elaborating a number of thoughts, the author finally draws the conclusion that the Old Testament people were familiar with schools in their lives and considered the existence of formal schools and informal schools important because these two school models could educate and teach the children of Israel to know and fulfill the contents of the commandments of the Shema Israel (cognitive aspect). The importance of school is also closely related to its benefits to love the Lord God with all our heart (affective aspect), all our soul (spiritual aspect) and all our strength (psychomotor aspect).

Abstract

Tradisi adat opanmnes adalah sebuah ritual adat masa lalu yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat Maubesi, dan dimengerti atau dimakani sebagai perjamuan. Opanmnes secara harafiah berarti ritus menumpahkan atau membuang beras sebagai bentuk perjamuan adat. Tradisi ini hendak menjelaskan, jiwa orang yang telah meninggal dunia tidak akan mengganggu orang-orang yang masih hidup, jika orang yang telah meninggal itu diritualkan secara adat. Jika ritual ini tidak dijalankan, keluarga yang masih hidup akan mendapatkan teguran berupa bahaya penyakit yang akan mengancam keberlangsungan hidup mereka melalui melalui kematian. Bila orang yang mati itu sudah diritualkan dengan baik, dia juga akan mengalami ketenangan di alam baka. Tradisi Opanmnes merupakan salah satu ritual adat yang sudah diterapkan oleh mayarakat adat Maubesi dari turunan ke turunan untuk menghormati para leluhur yang telah meninggal dunia hingga hari ini.

Abstract

The problem is how far this Pastoral School is implemented in Catholic junior high schools in the city of Kefamenanu? What is the influence of the Pastoral School on the development of a child's faith? This study uses a qualitative method. The research was conducted from 21 February to 5 March 2023. The respondents were a pastoral team and Catholic religion teachers at St. Francis Xavier Daughter, and St. Francis Xavier Catholic Middle School, who are actively involved in the school's pastoral assistance. Total respondents were 7 people from St. Francis Xavier Catholic Junior High School, 4 respondents and 3 respondents from St. Francis Xavier Catholic Junior High School. The definition of Pastoral School for the development of the faith of Catholic Junior High School children in the city of Kefamenanu is that the pastoral school is a place for fostering the faith of children in the school environment. Overall, namely 7 respondents (100%), were able to answer or define an understanding of the development of children's faith. In connection with the pastoral influence of schools for the development of children's faith in Catholic Junior High School -Kefamenanu city. Respondents could see the pastoral influence of the school on the development of a child's faith. The data shows that 85.71% of the respondents were able to see the influence of school pastoralism on the development of children's faith, besides that there was 1 respondent 14.28% said that school pastoralism had little impact on children's faith development because there were still many children who did not want to be involved in spiritual activities

Abstract

Love for one's country is one of the main things in forming a citizen's character, namely a sense of belonging, a sense of care, a sense of preserving and a sense of wanting to advance the unity of the nation and state. With this attitude of love, the state of the country will be better. The research objectives are 1) to determine the quality of Catholic Religious Education learning outcomes by applying project-based experiential methods to increase the feeling of love for the country for class 2) to determine the quality of the Catholic Religious Education learning process by applying project-based experiential methods to increase the feeling of love for the country for class This research uses Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of Cycle I and Cycle II which has four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of the research show that through the application of project-based experiential methods the feeling of patriotism in Catholic Religious Education subjects can increase as follows. The data results for Cycle I were 2.59% and Cycle II were 3.97%. From these data it is concluded that the application of project-based experiential methods can increase the feeling of love for the country in Catholic Religious Education Learning for class.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how to provide pastoral assistance and forms of pastoral assistance to OMK in developing their entrepreneurial talents. The type of research used is qualitative research with the measuring tools used are observation, interviews and documents. This means that researchers will describe and describe the objects of research results so that they can group and conclude problems related to OMK entrepreneurship in St. Parish. Peter Kanisius Manufui. The author also explains the reality and explores the problems faced by OMK in entrepreneurship so that they can find the right pastoral efforts in entrepreneurship. The research results show that assistance to OMK in developing entrepreneurial talent is always available. OMKs are given initial education on how to create business results and these results are used to save. Apart from that, assistance is also provided to open businesses when there are creative economy exhibitions in the Deanery and Diocese so that OMKs become more aware and courageous in creating opportunities in their home areas without having to be influenced to migrate outside the area. The form of approach taken by the parish to develop the talents and creativity of OMK is by creating spiritual activities in the parish so that OMK can see the opportunities that exist to create businesses. Abstract

The New Testament Scriptures write about Jesus who always taught those who believed in Him. He taught through the word and sermons. He proved his teachings by healing the sick and disabled, by feeding the hungry and by expelling demons from the possessed. Because his education and teaching were of interest to a large number of students, eventually there were also titles given to him as teacher and it was not uncommon for people to address him as Rabbi. This prompted the author to find out about Jesus' title as Teacher and Rabbi given by the students he educated and taught by asking problematic questions, namely: Why was Jesus given the title as Teacher? What is the role of Jesus as Teacher in the lives of the New Testament people? The answers to these two questions will be sought by looking at a number of literature references to find out the role of Jesus as Teacher for the New Testament people and at the same time to find out the reasons for giving Him this title

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peran Kelompok Tani Nekafmese dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan keluarga Katolik di Lingkungan Oeolo B Paroki Santa Maria Ratu Oeolo, dan mendeskripsikan peran Kelompok Tani Nekafmese dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan keluarga Katolik di Lingkungan Oeolo B Paroki Santa Maria Ratu Oeolo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan pada saat pengumpulan data berlangsung, dan setelah selesai pengumpulan data pada periode tertentu. Pada saat wawancara, peneliti sudah melakukan analisis terhadap jawaban informan. Sesudahnya peneliti membuat tanggapan kritis terhadap jawaban mereka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kelompok Tani Nekafmese berperan dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan keluarga Katolik di Lingkungan Oeolo B Paroki Santa Maria Ratu Oeolo dengan menjadi: Pertama, fasilitator. Kedua, motivator. Ketiga, pendamping.
