Abstract

The purpose of this study is to awaken, to revive, and to increase the understanding of Catholic religious education scholars the importance of Pancasila in their existence inthe midst of the plurality in Indonesia. The main objectives to be achieved are to knowthe foundation/framework/vision/mission and objectives of Pancasila education; knowingand understanding the values contained in Pancasila; know and apply the pastoral modelof Pancasila; know and understand the pastoral impact of Pancasila for the Church andthe Indonesia as a country.Pancasila education at the Catholic Religious College played a role as a forum forthe design. So, the presence of Pancasila Education courses is not just meeting thecurriculum criteria in a scientific institution but more than that, Pancasila education isseen as a Media for the mental development of students to view Pancasila as the basis fordeveloping Indonesian Dignity for a Catholic religious education scholar. They becameteachers of Catholicism, nationalism and true Pancasila.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the role of Catholic religious teachers at Taekas State High School in relation to adolescent self-control, and to measure theeffectiveness of these efforts in improving self-control of Taekas Senior High Schoolstudents. Teachers are people who have knowledge, experience, and are fully responsiblefor the educational process of their students by example and personality so that they candirect students to achieve educational goals. Catholic religious education is faith education that is carried out in a plannedmanner, and strengthens students’ faith in God Almighty in accordance with Catholicreligious teachings, and prepares students to become useful human beings for the Stateand the Church. Adolescent self-control is a process of growth between childhood andadulthood, which is between the ages of 13-17 years in which a person seeks his identityand refuses to act contrary to human norms or to restrain behavior that is painful ordetrimental to others. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach, where theresearcher uses direct interviews with respondents as a tool to collect data. The results of the study found several efforts made by the teacher and the resultsobtained in improving adolescent self-control at Taekas State High School. The effortsinclude: increasing student attendance at school; increasing student activity in theclassroom; most of the students are orderly in school rules and regulations; increasingstudent achievement results; student behavior is in accordance with what is expected sothat unwanted things do not happen.

Abstract

This article aims to describe various social problems based on sociological perspective on education issues in this globalization area. As it was assumed thateducation plays more important role to increase some of the interesting parts of those whoconcentrate on that issue in order to maintain the high quality of the education alone. It isbecause the objectivity of the education is human being. By the help of socialization they are capable to maintain the function of educationboth in the society and themselves. Hence, there is a need of social interaction among thehuman being so the role of education should have been functioned well in the society.The authors focused more on education from the point of view of GravissimumEducationis (GE) enriched by the Bible and other documents.

Abstract

This article is specifically about “the death and resurrection of the dead” which is a point of the great theme of Christian eschatology and existence. The author focused moreattention on the issue of death and resurrection of the dead. Death is often seen as amystery. The world of the dead is logically a world full of question marks. Even thoughwe know death is a certainty, our reason is still groping, what is really behind death.Certainty that behind death there is life, even happiness we can get if we look at itthrough the lens of faith.Through the suffering, death and resurrection of Jesus we obtain forgiveness ofsins and salvation. In His resurrection Jesus obtained for us a resurrection with Him.Christ has been raised from the dead as the firstborn of those who have died. For just asdeath came because of one man, and so, the resurrection of the dead came because of oneman. Jesus rose as He is the Christ. Thus we will rise with Him with our body and soul.With the resurrection of Jesus, our mortal life will someday share in the glory of Jesus'life.

Abstract

Education is one of the human rights that essentially belong to people in the world.As far as it is concerned, the good education aims to develop human resources that is usedfor human competition in the era of globalization. Furthermore, education forms any kindof human dignity of human’s life. Throughout education, it is the obligation for humanbeing to survive, to learn, to collaborate any of the experiences and knowledge in order toadapt themselves in the modern society. To maintain the aim of education, one thing thatshould be concerned is to achieve any changes of human’s ways of life in the society.This kind of changes brought a great inter-relation (mutual symbioses) between thehuman being and the society.It is the benefit for all the citizens upon the right of education to achieve a greatprosperity in the society. Hence, the national education is determined as the concreteeffort from the government in order to fulfill its obligation in the form of a goodeducation that offered to all the citizens in the country. As far as it is concerned, the moreeducation program is to be achieved, the more the country is to be loved by its citizens forthe benefits of their prosperity in the society.However, the goal of the education system need to be revised by the governmentregarding to the nation astaticism obstacles due to the variety of nation problems, that is,political system, social economic, covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Conceptually, human resource management in Indonesia is focused on understanding plan, implementing plan, and greater attention to managerialaspects and better utilization of people as organizational resources. In otherwords, human resource management is a reflection of the increasing significanceregarding the management of people in the organization as well as a broaderperspective on the assessment of this field. The urgency of human resource management such as first, humanresource management is not only ordinary strategic activities, but also issomething central in achieving organizational goals. Second, human resourcemanagers hand over responsibility for human asset management to senior linemanagement. Third, there is a shift from "industrial relations" to "employeerelations". The fourth creation and management of organizational culture is asimportant as the work of the organization itself, where individuals are given theopportunity to realize their full potential. Human resource management with itsconcept and vision can be used as a supporting and balancing factor in theincreasingly modern world of education that tends to be pursuing needs.

Abstract

This article describes leadership as a behavior that influences an individual orgroup of people to work towards achieving goals according to a vision that has been settogether. A leader is a person who has a special ability and aptitude to lead andinfluence members or subordinates to work hard to achieve goals. It changes thebehavior of followers in order to achieve higher performance. He is a visionary, capableof deciding and anticipating the turmoil of any future changes. He became a good andstrong leader, so that subordinates could be exemplary. His words and deeds are in line. He was a brave man who opposed old and obsolete thoughts, and was constantlyexperimenting with new and constructive ideas for the betterment of the institution. Atrue leader will step into the realm of practicality to serve. So the role of a servant leaderprioritizes service. Power and office are used to serve. He practiced the example ofJesus Christ in terms of patience, humility, charity and forgiveness. He is the figure ofChrist who comes to serve, not to be served.

Abstract

The article elaborates that Pastoral leadership is a leadership model offered as asolution to today's Christian leadership problems. When many leadership trends thatemerge today cannot satisfy the people, the theory of pastoral leadership has receivedextensive study and has also been applied in secular leadership in companies around theworld. Moreover, the study of pastoral leadership talks about the principle of servantleadership, in which the leader's character, such as kindness, sincerity, skill, and loyalty,has become a much-needed principle in leadership that has begun to shift toauthoritarian principles and be served. This study finds and confirms that if this pastoral leadership practice is practiced, it can be ascertained that there will be a successful andtransformative leadership for the church and society.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is as a basis for educating children in the familyabout etiquette, to be able to know the role of parents in teaching manners to children, toshape the child's personality into a person of character, and also as inspiration for researchers about the importance of etiquette for students to achieve better personalcharacter.This research uses a qualitative approach, with the type of case study research.The research method of data collection is more focused on using interview techniques.The research location is in Sekolah Dasar Katolik (SDK) Naileku. The data analysistechnique uses data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The subjects ofthis research were 6 people from the school (principals and teachers), 14 students'parents, and 14 students.The findings in this study are almost all parents teach etiquette at home. They saythat manners are very important to be taught to children, and need to be instilled so thatthe child's personality can become a useful person in the family and society. Educationof manners in the family is very important for the growth of children's character atschool. Through manners, children grow into human beings with character and alsoknow to carry themselves in the school environment and in the community. There isalso another finding that there is character education in SDK Naileku. Teachers alwaysgive good directions to students. Character education is very important to be taught tostudents.Based on the results of data analysis, there is certainty that in the house parentsteach etiquette to children. Manners are always taught to children from an early age.Manners are taught with the reason that in the future the child's personality can becomea good person or a person of character. Etiquette in the family is very important andmust be taught from an early age, so that it does not have an impact on the family whenit is an adult. With the karma, the child's personality can maintain the good name of thefamily, especially the parents. Character education in the context of education inschools, is a type of education whose ultimate hope is the realization of students whohave moral integrity who can be reflected in everyday life. These values are manifestedin good interaction behavior in relationships with God, relationships with others and inrelationship with God. Character education is very important and must be instilled sincechildhood.
