Abstract

Employee performance has become a crucial factor affecting organizational sustainability and competitiveness, particularly in the banking sector where service quality and productivity are highly dependent on human resources. Work commitment and job satisfaction have been recognized as important factors influencing employee performance; however, empirical findings remain inconsistent, particularly in regional banking institutions. This study aims to examine the effect of work commitment and job satisfaction on employee performance at PT Bank Sulteng. This study employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to employees of PT Bank Sulteng using a five-point Likert scale. The study involved 109 respondents selected through simple random sampling. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS version 26, including validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The findings revealed that work commitment and job satisfaction positively and significantly affected employee performance both partially and simultaneously. The coefficient of determination indicated that both variables explained 52.4% of employee performance variation. Strengthening employee commitment and improving job satisfaction may significantly contribute to enhancing employee performance in banking institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of product knowledge and e-banking technology on the interest of Muslim communities in using the services of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) at the Luwuk Branch, Banggai Regency. Islamic banking has experienced significant development in Indonesia, although public utilization remains relatively low despite the country's large Muslim population. Product understanding and technological development are considered important factors influencing customer decisions in selecting Islamic banking services. This study employed a quantitative approach using an explanatory survey design. Data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to 50 respondents who were customers of BSI Luwuk Branch using incidental sampling techniques. Data analysis included validity and reliability testing, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, partial hypothesis testing (t-test), and simultaneous testing (F-test) using SPSS version 25. The findings indicate that product knowledge has a positive and significant influence on customer interest with a t-value of 8.998 and a significance value of 0.000. E-banking technology also demonstrated a positive and significant influence with a t-value of 4.650 and a significance value of 0.000. Simultaneous analysis revealed that both variables significantly influence customer interest with an F-value of 99.524 and a significance value of 0.000. Product knowledge and digital banking services play important roles in increasing the adoption of Islamic banking services in regional communities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the market reaction to the announcement of the stock split by PT Hillcon Tbk in March 2025 using the event study approach. The observation period covers a 21-day event window, 10 days before and 10 days after the announcement, with an estimation period of 74 days prior to the event window. Market reaction measurements include abnormal return (AR), average abnormal return (AAR), cumulative abnormal return (CAR), and trading volume activity (TVA). The results show significant market reactions characterized by increases in AAR and trading volume activity, supported by the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. Although there was a short-term decline following the announcement, overall the stock split provided positive signals and increased the liquidity of PT Hillcon’s shares. These findings reinforce the signaling theory and liquidity hypothesis while providing empirical contributions to the understanding of semi-strong form market efficiency in Indonesia. This study highlights how stock splits can positively influence investor behavior by enhancing stock liquidity and signaling firm value. The significant abnormal returns and trading volume changes reflect investors’ sensitivity to corporate actions in emerging markets like Indonesia. The use of a 21-day event window provides a comprehensive view of the immediate market response around the announcement date. This research offers valuable insights for corporate managers and investors regarding the timing and expected impact of stock splits, emphasizing the importance of transparent communication and market efficiency considerations.

Abstract

The maritime industry increasingly requires highly competent professionals capable of operating in technologically advanced, dynamic, and safety-critical environments. As future maritime officers, marine cadets must develop not only technical competencies but also leadership capabilities, safety awareness, professional commitment, and psychological resilience. Leadership within Maritime Education and Training (MET) institutions therefore plays a crucial role in shaping cadet development and readiness for professional practice. This study aims to examine the influence of transformational leadership on maritime cadet development, particularly regarding motivation, learning engagement, safety culture internalization, and professional identity formation. An Integrative Literature Review (ILR) methodology was employed following established review procedures and PRISMA guidelines. Relevant studies were collected from Scopus, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, Emerald Insight, and Taylor & Francis databases, covering publications from 2000 to 2025. A total of 67 studies met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed through thematic synthesis. The findings indicate that transformational leadership contributes positively to cadet development through four key dimensions: idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration. These leadership dimensions enhance self-efficacy, intrinsic motivation, learning engagement, professional identity, safety awareness, and psychological resilience, which subsequently influence behavioral outcomes such as persistence, academic performance, teamwork, problem-solving ability, and safety behavior. The review further identifies organizational culture, instructor credibility, psychological safety, and training design as important moderating factors affecting leadership effectiveness. The study proposes a conceptual model linking transformational leadership to maritime professional readiness and offers practical implications for leadership development initiatives within maritime academies. The findings contribute to leadership theory and maritime education literature by providing a comprehensive understanding of leadership-driven cadet development processes.

Abstract

: Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a transformative force in contemporary marketing, enabling firms to personalize communication, automate decision-making, and generate consumer-oriented content at unprecedented levels. Despite these advancements, existing research predominantly treats AI as an implementation tool focused on prediction, recommendation, and content generation, while insufficient attention has been devoted to understanding how AI conceptualises and represents meaning. This limitation becomes particularly significant in nostalgic marketing, where consumer responses are shaped by memory, identity, authenticity, and emotional attachment. This study aims to develop a future research agenda that integrates AI conceptualisation approaches with nostalgic marketing mechanisms. Using an integrative conceptual analysis methodology, the study synthesizes literature from artificial intelligence, consumer behavior, nostalgia theory, identity theory, and marketing management to construct a comprehensive conceptual framework. The proposed framework positions AI conceptualisation as a meaning-making mechanism that influences consumer interpretation, authenticity perception, identity continuity, nostalgia intensity, and subsequent behavioral outcomes. Four conceptualisation strategies are identified, including embedding-based, knowledge-based, narrative-controlled, and hybrid representations, each expected to produce different effects on nostalgic consumer experiences. The framework further highlights authenticity and identity continuity as critical mediating mechanisms linking AI-generated content to emotional and behavioral responses. The study contributes to the literature by extending AI marketing research beyond predictive functionality and introducing conceptualisation as a critical explanatory construct. It also advances nostalgic marketing theory by incorporating AI-mediated meaning construction processes. Finally, the study provides a structured agenda for future empirical research and emphasizes the importance of transparency, authenticity, and ethical governance in AI-driven nostalgic marketing practices.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology, organizational transformation, and increasingly flexible work arrangements have significantly reshaped the dynamics of human resource management in modern organizations. In this context, organizational behavior has emerged as a strategic factor influencing work effectiveness, productivity, and organizational performance. This study aims to systematically examine the relationship between organizational behavior and employee performance from a Human Resource Management (HRM) perspective. The study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach following the PRISMA guidelines. Literature was collected from Scopus, ScienceDirect, Emerald Insight, SpringerLink, Wiley Online Library, Taylor & Francis, and Google Scholar. An initial search identified 85 articles published between 2020 and 2025. After duplicate removal, title and abstract screening, and full-text eligibility assessment, 9 articles were selected for final analysis. The findings indicate that organizational culture, transformational leadership, work motivation, employee engagement, organizational communication, and digital technology utilization are the most frequently reported determinants of employee performance. Among the reviewed studies, employee engagement and transformational leadership emerged as the most consistently significant predictors of performance improvement across various organizational contexts. The review further reveals that organizational trust, effective communication, and digital leadership play critical roles in supporting employee productivity within hybrid and technology-driven work environments. This study contributes to the theoretical development of organizational behavior and provides practical implications for designing adaptive, innovative, and sustainable HRM strategies in the digital era.

Abstract

This study examines the risk and return characteristics of selected banking stocks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2020–2025, covering the COVID-19 crisis, recovery phase, and post-pandemic adjustment period. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed using secondary data obtained from Investing.com. The sample consists of ten banking stocks, namely BBCA, BBRI, BMRI, BBNI, BRIS, BBTN, BNGA, BNLI, NISP, and MEGA. Descriptive statistics were selected because the study aims to provide an empirical mapping of stock return characteristics without testing causal relationships. The analysis includes mean return, minimum return, maximum return, and standard deviation. The findings indicate that all sampled banking stocks generated positive average monthly returns, although substantial differences exist in risk and volatility profiles. BRIS recorded the highest average return and volatility, while BNLI exhibited the highest maximum return. NISP and BBCA showed relatively stable performance with lower volatility. These results suggest that Indonesian banking stocks possess heterogeneous risk-return characteristics despite operating within the same sector. The study provides practical implications for investors in constructing banking stock portfolios based on risk preferences and return expectations. However, the findings are limited to descriptive analysis and do not investigate the determinants of stock returns. Future studies may incorporate risk-adjusted performance measures and causal modeling approaches.

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital entertainment platforms has increased consumer interest in mobile applications that provide short-drama content. PineDrama is one of the emerging digital entertainment applications that offers short-form video content combined with reward-based engagement features. This study aims to explore consumer perceptions toward PineDrama through online reviews collected from the Google Play Store. A quantitative descriptive approach was employed using sentiment analysis and keyword exploration methods. The study utilized a large-scale dataset consisting of 40,059 user reviews collected through a web scraping process, providing comprehensive insights into consumer perceptions toward the application. Data preprocessing included text cleaning and normalization to improve textual quality before analysis. Sentiment classification was conducted using a rating-based labeling approach, where ratings of 4–5 stars were categorized as positive, 3-star ratings as neutral, and ratings of 1–2 stars as negative. The findings revealed that positive sentiment dominated the dataset, accounting for 84.49% of reviews, followed by negative sentiment (12.22%) and neutral sentiment (3.29%). Positive reviews were primarily associated with entertainment value, drama content, and reward opportunities, while negative reviews mainly concerned login difficulties, account accessibility, and application performance issues. Furthermore, user satisfaction, content consumption, and reward mechanisms emerged as the most frequently discussed topics in user reviews. These findings indicate that the combination of engaging content and attractive reward features plays an important role in shaping positive consumer perceptions and encouraging continued user engagement. The study contributes practical insights for digital entertainment platform management by highlighting the importance of maintaining content quality, optimizing reward mechanisms, improving system reliability, and enhancing account accessibility. However, the findings should be interpreted with caution because the rating-based sentiment classification approach may not always fully reflect the sentiment expressed in review texts. Despite this limitation, the study provides valuable insights into consumer perceptions and user experiences within digital entertainment platforms.
