Abstract

Technological advancements have brought about significant changes in the world of education, creating a more dynamic and adaptive learning environment. Technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), the Internet of Things (IoT), and digital learning play a crucial role in shaping the future of education. This study aims to analyze how these technological advancements impact the learning environment and the role of teachers in the future. The method used in this research is a literature review, collecting and analyzing various publications related to the implementation of technology in education. The findings indicate that AI enables personalized learning, AR and VR create immersive experiences, IoT enhances student interaction with the learning environment, and digital learning offers greater flexibility. Despite their potential, the main challenges in implementing these technologies include the need for adequate infrastructure, the digital divide, and the importance of technological literacy among teachers and students. This study concludes that, although technology will transform the role of teachers, they remain a key element in supporting effective learning through the wise and inclusive use of technology

Abstract

Social sciences play a strategic role in the development of educational policies and curricula aimed at creating an inclusive, relevant, and adaptive education system that responds to social changes. The background of this research is rooted in the need to understand how disciplines such as sociology, anthropology, and psychology can provide both theoretical and practical foundations for designing evidence-based educational policies. This study aims to analyze the contribution of social sciences in shaping educational policy and curriculum development, as well as identifying the challenges and opportunities present. The method used is library research with a descriptive-analytical approach. Data is gathered from primary and secondary literature, including academic books, journal articles, and policy documents from both national and international sources. The analysis is conducted through the synthesis of findings to produce a holistic overview of the relationship between social sciences, educational policy, and curriculum development. The results of the study show that social sciences contribute significantly to understanding social inequalities, building culturally relevant curricula, and designing educational policies that are responsive to societal needs. However, implementation is often hindered by the gap between theory and practice, resource limitations, and the influence of political agendas. This research concludes that integrating social sciences into education can enhance the quality of policies and curricula. Collaboration between academics, policymakers, and practitioners is necessary to optimize the contribution of social sciences to a more inclusive and sustainable education system.

Abstract

Effective learning is key to developing competent students who are ready to face global challenges. Effective learning practices rely not only on proper educational theories but also on relevant pedagogical approaches and an understanding of factors influencing the learning process. This study aims to explore the foundations of effective learning by analyzing various learning theories, pedagogical approaches, and the factors that support learning success. The study employs a library research methodology, analyzing literature from reliable sources such as journals, books, and academic articles, discussing learning theories and best practices in education. The data is analyzed descriptively to identify key concepts underlying effective learning. The findings suggest that effective learning is grounded in the application of learning theories such as constructivism, behaviorism, and cognitivism. Additionally, pedagogical approaches like problem-based learning, collaborative learning, and project-based learning have proven effective in enhancing students' critical thinking and social skills. Internal factors such as motivation and cognitive ability, as well as external factors like family support and educational facilities, also significantly impact learning. The use of technology as a supporting tool further enhances learning effectiveness when used wisely and in alignment with learning objectives.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of humanities as a catalyst in educational and social innovation. In an increasingly interconnected world, humanities offer an approach that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and social awareness among students, which are essential for addressing contemporary social and cultural challenges. Therefore, understanding how humanities can be integrated into education to promote positive social change is crucial. This research uses a library research method, collecting and analyzing relevant literature on the application of humanities in education and its impact on society. The findings indicate that incorporating humanities into the educational curriculum can enhance students' understanding of social issues, strengthen character, and improve critical thinking skills. Furthermore, the study reveals that humanities play a role in facilitating social innovation by encouraging student involvement in community activities and raising awareness about the importance of human values. Despite challenges such as lack of policy support and inadequate resources, this study suggests strengthening humanities-based education through supportive educational policies, as well as innovative teaching methods and training

Abstract

Modern education is currently undergoing a significant transformation with the integration of technology in various aspects of learning. Technological innovations, such as online learning platforms, computer-based applications, and the use of technologies like virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), have introduced new, more flexible, and interactive approaches to education. This study aims to explore technological innovations and approaches in modern education, as well as their impacts on the learning and teaching process. The research employs a library research method, analyzing various relevant literatures on the application of technology in education. Data was collected through a literature review of journal articles, books, and academic publications discussing this topic. The research findings indicate that technology has brought positive impacts to education, including improvements in access, interactivity, and personalized learning. Additionally, new approaches such as blended learning, gamification, and adaptive learning are increasingly being implemented to meet students' individual needs. However, challenges such as the digital divide and resistance to change remain significant barriers that need to be addressed. This study concludes that, while technology offers various benefits, its implementation requires adequate support from all relevant stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.

Abstract

Contemporary education faces the challenge of bridging a rich tradition of values with the fast-paced, technology-driven demands of modernity. This research aims to explore innovative theories in education that integrate traditional elements with modern learning practices. The study employs a library research method to gather data from various primary and secondary sources, including books, scholarly journals, and academic articles. The findings indicate that the integration of tradition and modernity in education can create a holistic approach that encompasses cognitive, affective, and moral aspects. The implementation of innovations such as technology-based learning and blended learning becomes more effective when accompanied by culturally relevant traditional values. However, challenges such as cultural resistance, infrastructure limitations, and the need for adequate teacher training remain. This study emphasizes the importance of flexible, value-based curriculum design to create inclusive and sustainable education. The findings have significant implications for the development of educational policies that can address global challenges while maintaining local identity.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in the preparation of internship reports at SMK Karmel and analyze its impact on efficiency, quality, and the development of students' skills. In this research, AI is used to assist students in composing reports by providing structural guidance, content analysis, and suggestions for improving writing quality. The findings of the study indicate that the use of AI technology enhances the efficiency of report preparation by reducing the time needed for writing and revising reports. Additionally, the quality of internship reports has significantly improved in terms of structure, grammar, and writing fluency. However, several challenges remain in its implementation, such as the readiness of students and teachers to use this technology and AI’s limitations in understanding the context of students' specific experiences. The study also found that the implementation of AI not only improves students' technical skills in using technology but also enriches their critical and analytical thinking skills. Based on these findings, it is recommended to provide further training for students and teachers and to continue developing the AI platform to enhance its ability to adapt to students' contextual experiences

Abstract

Changes in educational organizations are common, including in Islamic educational institutions such as Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Ulum Suruhan Lor Bandung. The vision of a kiai to preserve the salaf tradition by utilizing modern tools and keeping up with developments in the era of globalization is realized through change management in several aspects, while still maintaining the local wisdom that characterizes the pesantren. This is done so that the salaf pesantren remains relevant and accepted by modern society. This research aims to: 1) Provide a comprehensive overview of the phases of change that have occurred at Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Ulum Suruhan Lor Bandung, and 2) Describe the changes that have taken place in the pesantren in terms of structure, physical layout, technology, and human resources. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, where the analysis is conducted using deductive analytical logic. The location of this research is Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Ulum Suruhan Lor Bandung. Data were collected through field observations, interviews, and documentation. The obtained data were then reduced, presented, analyzed, and finally concluded.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze organizational strategies in managing educational resources at SMK Karmel Tangerang, Banten. The primary focus of this research is on the organization of educators, facilities and infrastructure, as well as educational financing. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that SMK Karmel Tangerang has implemented effective organizational strategies in managing human resources, facilities, and budgets. Mapping educators based on their competencies, regular maintenance of educational facilities, and transparent budget management are strengths in the school’s management. However, this study also identified several challenges in inter-departmental coordination, which can affect the operational effectiveness of the school. Therefore, it is recommended to improve communication and coordination among school components to enhance the effectiveness of organization in supporting the achievement of optimal educational goals.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of educational supervision in enhancing teacher professionalism at SMK Karmel Tangerang Banten. The approach used in this research is qualitative, with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study show that educational supervision at SMK Karmel has a significant impact on improving teachers' pedagogical, social, and personality competencies. Through supervision carried out by the principal and supervisors, teachers receive constructive feedback that allows them to develop teaching skills, improve communication and collaboration with colleagues, and foster professional attitudes in carrying out their duties. Additionally, supervision based on teacher development and empowerment also plays a crucial role in enhancing teachers' motivation and confidence. However, the study also identifies some challenges in the implementation of supervision, such as limited time and teachers' discomfort with evaluative approaches that focus too much on weaknesses. Overall, educational supervision conducted with a collaborative and supportive approach plays an important role in improving teacher professionalism at SMK Karmel. This study contributes to the development of supervision policies in vocational high schools to enhance the quality of education.
