Abstract

The 3D animation industry continues to grow rapidly, but it is often hindered by the limitations of adequate computational resources. The rendering process, which converts 3D models into realistic images, requires significant computational power and often takes a long time. This study uses an experimental method to measure execution time during rendering with varying frame values. These variations are applied to each slave computer and compared to determine the speedup in execution time. Observations were made to understand the impact of changing frame values on rendering time. With the implementation of a render farm system, errors in the rendering process can automatically be re-submitted until completion, and utilizing multiple computational resources in parallel can speed up the rendering process. This makes the rendering process more efficient and helps complete animation projects more quickly. The system design process begins with a general observation, followed by software design, and concludes with the deployment of the render farm on the server. Parallel computer testing was carried out by synchronizing the time between the Master, Slave, and Client using network time protocols. The results of the tests indicate that the use of a render farm can significantly reduce rendering time, providing an efficient solution to overcome hardware limitations in 3D animation rendering.

Abstract

Information systems have become a crucial part of various institutions and modern societies today. With the availability of appropriate information systems, many benefits can be gained, ultimately enhancing work productivity. To maintain the stability and availability of information networks, a well-managed system is required, one that can address any arising issues. Monitoring network devices is essential to assist network administrators in observing and controlling the installed network systems. PT. AcehLink Media, located at Jalan Pocut Baren No. 31A, Gampong Keuramat, Kuta Alam District, Banda Aceh City, is an Internet Service Provider (ISP) company that serves Internet users, particularly in the Banda Aceh area, 24 hours a day. The network device monitoring system currently implemented at PT. AcehLink Media relies on a manual method using ping from Command Prompt. As an Internet service provider, this method is understandably ineffective, especially when network issues occur. The methodology used in this research includes Data Collection Methods derived from Literature Studies and Field Observations (including Interviews), as well as System Analysis and Design Methods. The system to be designed is based on the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) using the CACTI application. CACTI is a frontend application of the Round Robin Database Tool (RRDTool), which stores information in a MySQL database and generates graphs based on that information. The implementation of the designed Network Device Monitoring Information System is expected to assist personnel in troubleshooting network issues when they arise, thus ensuring the stability of Internet services for all customers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the digital report card information system (RDM) in terms of user satisfaction using the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) method at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 9 Banda Aceh. In the digital era, the digital report card information system has become a crucial tool in supporting administrative processes and assessments in the education sector, particularly in madrasahs. This study was conducted to understand to what extent the implementation of RDM can meet the needs and expectations of users, including teachers, students, and other stakeholders at MIN 9 Banda Aceh. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to users of the RDM system at MIN 9 Banda Aceh. User satisfaction was measured based on five EUCS dimensions: content, accuracy, format, ease of use, and timeliness. The results of the study indicate that, overall, users are satisfied with the RDM system in use. The ease of use and timeliness dimensions received the highest ratings, indicating that users find the system easy to use and that it provides timely information. However, there are several aspects within the content and accuracy dimensions that need improvement to enhance overall user satisfaction. This study provides important insights into the effectiveness of digital report card information systems in madrasah settings. The findings are expected to offer valuable input for system developers and madrasah administrators to improve the quality of services and functionality of RDM, thus better meeting the needs of users and supporting a more efficient educational process.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has significantly impacted various aspects of life, including the management of information and business transactions. Household businesses, particularly those providing home internet services, are also leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency. This research aims to develop an Android-based Wi-Fi voucher purchasing application for household businesses, using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach. The application is designed to simplify the Wi-Fi voucher sales process, which was previously handled manually using Microsoft Word, an inefficient method. This application is expected to speed up and streamline transaction processes while reducing reliance on paper usage. Additionally, it will facilitate the management of sales data and accelerate transaction reconciliation. The use of RAD in developing the application enables the creation of an effective and efficient information system in a short period, supporting the smooth operation of home-based internet service businesses.

Abstract

This research aims to design and implement a web-based information system for managing data of Bantuan Langsung Tunai (BLT) recipients at the Kantor Geuchik Gampong Ceurih, Ulee Kareng District, Banda Aceh. The system is designed to replace the manual process, which is prone to errors such as incomplete data entry and difficulties in data retrieval. The method used in the system design is Waterfall, combined with programming languages such as HTML, PHP, CSS, and JavaScript. The system includes several forms, including login, main menu, and BLT recipient data input forms. In addition, the system generates comprehensive reports on BLT recipients, including reports based on criteria, recipient schedules, and personal data. System testing shows that the application is effective in improving efficiency, accuracy, and speed in managing BLT data. With this system, data entry and reporting processes can be carried out faster and more organized, thus facilitating operators in performing their tasks.

Abstract

Choosing a college major is an important decision that can significantly impact a student's career and future. This study aims to assist prospective students in selecting the most suitable major at STMIK Bina Patria using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The three majors evaluated in this study are Computer Engineering, Information Systems, and Management Informatics. The SAW method is used to process several relevant criteria in the major selection process, including personal interest, job prospects, availability of facilities, tuition fees, and study duration. Each criterion is assigned a specific weight, and the evaluation is carried out for the three majors based on the scores obtained from each criterion. The calculation results indicate that the Computer Engineering major received the highest score, followed by Management Informatics and Information Systems. This study provides recommendations for prospective students to consider the factors that have been analyzed when selecting a major that aligns with their preferences and career goals. Therefore, the SAW method can be used as a tool to support more objective and structured decision-making in the college major selection process at STMIK Bina Patria.

Abstract

The cooperative at the Mahkamah Syar'iyah Banda Aceh faces several challenges, one of which is the limited number of cooperative management personnel involved in developing cooperative business activities. The author identifies two main issues. First, from the perspective of cooperative members, there is difficulty in determining the amount of savings or loans, as the cooperative managers are not always present at the location. Second, from the perspective of the management, the bookkeeping process is still conducted manually. The purpose of this design is to provide easy access to information for members, such as the cooperative profile, savings balance, outstanding loans, and remaining installments. This system also aims to increase the trust of members towards the officers and to facilitate cooperative officers in generating more accurate and efficient reports. From the management side, the system provides access to an admin login page, home, master savings type, master member, savings transaction, loans, repayments, and savings reports. From the member's side, the system allows them to view the amount of their savings and loans. The web-based cooperative information system design at the Mahkamah Syariyah Banda Aceh utilizes fast web technologies for data processing, making reporting more efficient. This system is designed to facilitate data entry, data processing, and data storage, allowing easy access for various purposes such as data retrieval and reporting. The advantages of the Bahagia Bersama Cooperative program include its ability to generate savings reports, loan reports, and member lists.

Abstract

In the era of globalization and advancements in information technology, government agencies in Indonesia are required to adapt to technological developments to improve work effectiveness and efficiency. This research aims to design a web-based information system to support field monitoring at BPJN Sub-Field PPK 2.1 Aceh. The system is designed to meet user needs by providing features such as real-time data input, project progress monitoring, detailed reporting, and quick and accurate information access. The design and development method used is the Waterfall model, which includes a step-by-step process starting from requirement analysis, system design, program coding, program testing, and program implementation. The results of the study indicate that the designed web-based information system can enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of field monitoring. The new system shows significant improvements in data collection speed, data accuracy, work efficiency, and ease of data access. Testing using the black-box method shows that the system works well according to the designed functions. With the adoption of this information technology, BPJN Sub-Field PPK 2.1 Aceh is expected to improve operational efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance the quality of infrastructure project monitoring.

Abstract

Manual employee attendance recording is still commonly used in many companies, despite its known weaknesses such as delayed data processing, high potential for fraud, and lack of efficiency. This study aims to design and develop a mobile-based employee attendance information system with geolocation features, integrated with a web-based dashboard for employee data management. The system was developed using the Waterfall model through several stages: observation, interviews, literature review, design, implementation, and testing. The mobile application was built using Flutter to record attendance with GPS-based location verification and selfie capture, while the website was developed using PHP and MySQL to manage employee data and attendance reports. The results show that the system can accurately record attendance data, reduce fraud, and simplify real-time monitoring by administrators. This system offers an efficient and transparent digital solution for companies in managing employee attendance.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and implement a Web-based Agricultural Extension Information System at the Department of Agriculture and Plantation of Aceh Province. The system is designed to facilitate farmers' access to agricultural information, enhance the effectiveness of agricultural extension services, and support improvements in agricultural productivity and quality. The methods used include literature review, user needs analysis, system design, web application development, and field implementation trials. A participatory approach involves farmers, agricultural extension officers, and other stakeholders to ensure the system meets local needs. The system provides information related to cultivation techniques, market changes, government policies, and weather forecasts, which are expected to help farmers improve production efficiency, reduce risks, and expand market access. The Department of Agriculture and Plantation also benefits from delivering extension services effectively, covering topics such as agricultural business management and marketing. The results of this study are expected to offer significant benefits to farmers and communities, including improved access to information, more effective extension services, and increased agricultural productivity and quality.
