SMK merupakan sekolah menengah dengan tujuan menciptakan lulusan yang dapat bekerja, melanjutkan studi ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi, dan berwirausaha. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor berikut: 1) pengaruh akademik dan ekonomi terhadap minat siswa SMK di Surakarta untuk bekerja; dan 2) pengaruh akademik dan ekonomi terhadap minat siswa SMK untuk studi lanjut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Populasi yang digunakan sebesar 452 siswa dengan pengambilan sampel secara Simple Random Sample sebanyak 213 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data adalah dengan menggunakan angket kuesioner. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) ada pengaruh yang siginifikan antara variabel akademik terhadap minat bekerja dengan nilai sig 0.023 < 0.05. 2) ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel ekonomi terhadap minat bekerja dengan nilai sig 0.00<0.05. 3) ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel akademik terhadap minat studi lanjut dengan nilai signifikansi 0.046 < 0.05. 4) tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel ekonomi terhadap minat studi lanjut dengan nilai signifikansi 0.174 > 0.05.

An inclusive labour market emphasizes equal opportunities and fair treatment for all individuals, including persons with disabilities, with the aim of optimizing the potential of the workforce, increasing innovation, productivity, and economic growth. In Indonesia, inclusive policies have been implemented through various laws and regulations that support the rights of persons with disabilities to obtain decent work. Nonetheless, challenges in the form of discrimination and lack of supporting infrastructure are still significant. Disabled people's organizations (DPOs) play an important role in economic empowerment through skills training and entrepreneurship. This training covers areas such as screen printing, electronics, computers and weaving, as well as social assistance for small businesses. The types of jobs available to people with disabilities include operators, customer service, telemarketing, teachers, and administration. Awareness and effective policies are needed to create a truly inclusive workplace in Indonesia. With sustained commitment from all parties, Indonesia can respect and protect the rights of persons with disabilities, ensure equal and fair access to employment opportunities, and harness their full potential for nation-building.

This study aims to analyze the performance of a solar water heater made of galvalum-fiber with a trickle system using a flow rate of 2 lpm. The research was conducted by experimental method. This research was conducted by flowing water through a solar water heater and collecting data at 08.00-15.00 with 3 repetitions to get accurate results. Data collection was carried out by recording the temperature at the inlet, outlet, collector, cover, environment, solar radiation intensity, and wind speed. The data obtained were analyzed to determine collector efficiency, fluid efficiency and total efficiency. Based on research results, this solar water heater is capable of producing water temperatures of up to 36.8°C with temperature changes of up to 6.6°C. This solar water heater is capable of generating collector efficiency of up to 51%, and a total efficiency of 34%.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang prosedur pelaksanaan keefektifan pelaksanaan teaching factory pada kompetensi keahlian teknik pemesinan di SMK Warga Surakarta selama ini dan memperoleh gambaran sejauhmana keefektifan pelaksanaan teaching factory pada kompetensi keahlian teknik pemesinan di SMK Warga Surakarta selama ini.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluatif dengan model evaluasi CIPP. Desain penelitiannya adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini meliputi informan yaitu pimpinan, manajemen sekolah, dan PIC TEFA dan responden yaitu siswa-siswa. Teknik pengumpulan datanya yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Validitas data untuk data kualitatif menggunakan triangulasi metode. Sedangkan untuk data kuantitatif validitas instrumennya menggunakan validitas isi (expert judgement). Analisis data untuk data kualitatif menggunakan teknik analisis data menurut Miles & Huberman sedangkan untuk analisis data kuantitatifnya menggunakan kriteria penilaian Saifudin Azwar.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Context; Pelaksanaan teaching factory mampu mewujudkan visi dan misi sekolah. Input; Sekolah telah menyediakan peralatan, ruang, dan tenaga pengajar yang memadai. Pencatatan harian sudah ada, namun tidak ada guru yang bertanggung jawab secara penuh. Struktur organisasi sudah ada, namun pelaksanaan jobdesk belum maksimal. Process; Praktik berbasis corporate culture, namun siswa belum melakukan semua tahapan dalam teaching factory. MRC belum termanajemen dan terjadwal. Kegiatan promosi belum maksimal. Praktik secara team work dengan bahan baku proses produksi. Guru menyelesaikan pekerjaan produksi dari pelanggan yang belum terselesaikan oleh siswa. Product; Pelaksanaaan teaching factory mampu meningkatkan kompetensi siswa. Produk yang dihasilkan mampu bersaing di pasar dan digunakan untuk kebutuhan internal sekolah. Berdasarkan analisis data menunjukkan keefektifan pelaksanaaan teaching factory di SMK Warga Surakarta telah memenuhi indikator teaching factory level 4 efficiency.

Evaluation of the performance of study program graduates in the world of work is one indicator of higher education quality. The high performance of graduates and their relevance to the needs of the world of work indicate a good quality higher education. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the performance of graduates of Sebelas Maret University Mechanical Engineering Education (PTM UNS) in the world of work. So that the results obtained as a priority reference for learning development in study programs and students. This research is quantitative descriptive. It is carried out through a tracer study of graduate data and a survey of graduate users. The subjects of this research include UNS PTM graduates who graduated in 2016, 2017 and 2018 as a source of tracking data for graduates and 80 graduate users as a source of satisfaction survey data and the level of importance of the formulated Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL). Data collection techniques were carried out through the method of filling out the questionnaire instrument questionnaire. The analysis was carried out using quantitative descriptive statistical analysis techniques using the SPSS V.21 data processing application. The results of this study show profile data for PTM UNS graduates, namely the average graduate with a very satisfactory predicate (GPA 3.46) with an average study period of 4 years and 2 months. Most (56%) work as educators, with a high level of suitability of work with the field of science 47.5%; 38.9% moderate and the remaining 13.6% low. The average waiting time for the first job after graduation is less than 6 months (76.5%). Furthermore, for the results of the graduate user satisfaction survey, the average total satisfaction is 4.28 (very satisfactory). With an importance level of 12 Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL), 11 of them are in the very important category and one is in the important category (T8). Objectively, users are satisfied with the performance of graduates, but subjectively researchers need to propose development priorities for study programs based on the value of the level of satisfaction which is below the total average value. The conclusion in this study shows that the performance of graduates of the PTM UNS study program has been good or satisfactory. However, there is a need for a program to improve the quality of graduate performance in the communication and professional aspects. It is hoped that the study program will be able to improve the quality of these two aspects through improving the quality of learning, infrastructure and learning facilities as well as improving the quality of educators/lecturers.

This study aims to analyze the effect of variations in the number of blades and the use of end plates on the cut in speed of Helical Savonius wind turbine. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The variables used in this study are variations in wind speed from 1 to 5 m/s with intervals of 0.5 m/s. Variations in the number of blades are 2,3, and 4 blades. Variations in the use of end plates and without end plates. The results of this study was found that variations in the number of blades and the use of end plates affect the cut in speed of helical Savonius wind turbine. The fewer the number of turbine blades, the better the turbine's cut in speed will be. 2 blade’s Helical Savonius wind turbine with end plate is turbine variation that is able to produce best cut in speed of 1.97 m/s, compared to other variations.

This study investigates the effectiveness of active student learning strategies in improving both conceptual comprehension and practical application. This study aims to determine the relevance of the Motorcycle Engineering Workshop standards at the Department of Mechanical Engineering Education, UNS, to current industrial standards and to formulate a development projection to better align the workshop with the standards of the automotive industry. This study employed a mixed methods approach using a sequential explanatory design, in which quantitative data were collected first, followed by qualitative data. The quantitative data were obtained using a total sampling technique, while the qualitative data were collected through purposive sampling. Data collection techniques included observation and interviews. Quantitative data were analyzed descriptively using percentage calculations, while qualitative data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The result showed that the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) aspect achieved a percentage of 85.7%, categorized as "highly appropriate"; the workshop functional space aspect obtained 40.0%, categorized as "moderately appropriate"; and the practical equipment suitability aspect reached 46.4%, also categorized as "moderately appropriate." Overall, the relevance of the Motorcycle Engineering Workshop standards to industrial standards reached 51.87%, which falls into the "moderately appropriate" category. The proposed development projection focuses on redesigning the workshop layout, improving facilities and practical equipment, strengthening the workshop management system, and optimizing the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) to better meet the needs of the business and industrial sectors.

Vocational high school graduates are the biggest contributor to the Highest Unemployment Rate Indonesia in 2021. One of the factors causing this is the low quality of learning. Efforts to improve the quality of learning in vocational high schools can be done by carrying out learning that favors students, namely by carrying out differentiated learning. However, the implementation process in the vocational high school environment is still hampered by teachers' lack of understanding of the application of differentiated learning. This research aims to describe the implementation of differentiated learning in vocational high schools. The research uses a descriptive qualitative research approach with literature study methods from books and scientific articles in various national and international journals. Differentiated learning is learning that is carried out by paying attention to students' abilities, interests and learning styles. The stages of implementing differentiated learning in vocational high schools are carrying out diagnostic assessments, making differentiated learning plans, implementing differentiated learning, and implementing differentiated learning assessments. The success of learning is if the teacher can carry out his role well. Differentiated learning needs to be carried out in the vocational high school environment in order to improve the quality of graduates who have the attitudes, knowledge and skills needed in DU/DI in the 21st century.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memperoleh tahapan kerja yang memiliki resiko kecelakaan kerja paling besar di bengkel body repair. Peneliti membatasi penelitian ini dengan melakukan penelitian di dua tempat yaitu bengkel Mitsubishi bodi & cat sebagai bengkel authorized dan bengkel Auto 168 sebagai bengkel non authorized. Data pada penelitian ini diambil dengan cara observasi dan wawancara. Peneliti akan menganalisis data dengan menggunakan metode Failure Mode And Effect Analysis (FMEA). Peneliti akan memperoleh nilai risk priority number (RPN) melalui tiga parameter yaitu, severity (S), occurrence (O), dan detectability (D) dari tiap-tiap tahapan kerja. Dari penelitian ini, akan diperoleh peringkat tahapan kerja dengan resiko kecelakaan kerja terbesar hingga terkecil yang akhirnya digunakan sebagai dasar dalam menggambarkan potensi kecelakaan kerja dan faktor penyebabnya, serta memberikan rekomendasi cara meminimalisir kecelakaan kerja.
