Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan minat berwirausaha siswa pada setiap tingkat pendidikan kejuruan (kelas X, XI, XII) di SMK Ganesha Tama Boyolali. Tingginya tingkat pengangguran lulusan SMK menjadikan pengembangan minat berwirausaha sebagai strategi penting untuk menciptakan lapangan kerja mandiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif deskriptif dengan sampel 92 siswa kelas X, XI, dan XII dari program keahlian Teknik Permesinan. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner tertutup dengan skala Likert 1-5 yang mengukur lima indikator minat berwirausaha: kesadaran berwirausaha, ketertarikan berwirausaha, perasaan senang terhadap aktivitas wirausaha, keinginan untuk berwirausaha, dan keberanian mengambil risiko. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat berwirausaha siswa mengalami peningkatan seiring dengan naiknya tingkat pendidikan kejuruan. Siswa kelas XII memiliki tingkat minat berwirausaha lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas XI dan kelas X. Seluruh indikator minat berwirausaha mengalami peningkatan, namun tingkat keinginan untuk benar-benar berwirausaha masih relatif lebih rendah dibandingkan indikator lainnya, meskipun keberanian mengambil risiko tergolong tinggi. Kondisi ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa telah memiliki kesiapan dan persepsi kemampuan diri terhadap kewirausahaan, tetapi niat untuk menjadikan wirausaha sebagai pilihan karier utama masih dipengaruhi oleh orientasi kerja ke industri, pertimbangan keamanan ekonomi, serta pengaruh lingkungan sosial.Kata kunci: minat berwirausaha, tingkat pendidikan kejuruan, SMK

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the TinkerCAD virtual laboratory-assisted project assessment on Mechanical Engineering Education students at Sebelas Maret University of Surakarta who take the Electrical and Electronics Engineering course. The method used in this study is the one group pretest-posttest design method. The pre-test is used to determine the level of creativity of students before being given treatment. Pre-test and posttest creativity level data will be analyzed to determine their effectiveness. This study used paired t-test data analysis techniques and n-gain score tests. The results of the study show that the application of TinkerCAD's virtual laboratory-assisted project assessment can be said to be effective. This finding was supported by an increase in the average creativity score of 82.22%, from the initial test score of 47.08 to 85.79 in the final test.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and implement a CNC machine operation learning module to improve learning effectiveness at Solo Technopark. The study is motivated by the absence of structured instructional materials that can support competency-based learning in CNC training, resulting in inconsistent learning processes and high dependence on instructors. This research employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires using a Likert scale, and analyzed using descriptive quantitative methods. The results indicate that the developed module achieved a high level of feasibility, as validated by material experts (87.5%) and media experts (84.30%). During the implementation stage, the module demonstrated an effectiveness level of 80.25%, categorized as effective. These findings suggest that the module enhances content clarity, supports self-directed learning, and improves participants’ skills in CNC machine operation. From a theoretical perspective, this study reinforces the role of modular learning in vocational education in promoting self-directed learning and consistency of competency acquisition (Putri & Widodo, 2023). However, limitations remain in terms of visual design and learning independence, indicating the need for further development.

Abstract

The purposes of this study was: To know the difference influence of temperature variations on the rate of flow fluidity castings foundry results with the model evaporative Birmingham on Al-9% Si(1). To know the difference influence of temperature variations on the level of hardness cast evaporative casting model results in Birmingham Al-9% Si(2). To know the difference in the influence of temperature variations on the microstructure of casting Birmingham’s evaporative model in Al-9% Si. This research uses experimental methods. This study used Aluminum alloy ingots (Al-9% Si). Samples from this study is the result of the influence of temperature variations in the metal aluminum alloy castings against mechanical and physical properties. The number of samples for which there are 3 variations of temperature difference of the three 600°C, 700°C, 800°C. The results of this study were: (1)The measurement results obtained the conclusion that the fluidity between the different temperature variations of the highest value is at a temperature of 800°C and pour the fluidity of the lowest rate at a temperature of 600°C. (2)The mechanical properties of a form of violence each different test specimen temperature variation The greater the importance of the conclusion of the pour temperature hardness value to be dropped or small, because at the lowest temperature faster the freezing process that resulted in the material becomes harder. (3)The results of the microstructure obtained the conclusion that the grains are formed at the tip is greater than the base or middle, so the first freeze occurs on the tip of the middle and then later at the base.

Abstract

 This research aims to produce a learning e-module for Basic Electronic Engineering Virtual Laboratory Tinkercad in the Electrical and Electronic Engineering course of the Mechanical Engineering education study program, FKIP UNS, to determine the level of feasibility and practicality of the resulting e-module. This research is a type of research and development (R&D). The module development procedure adapts the Four-D model limited to only 3 stages, namely, 1) Define, 2) Design, 3) Develop. The research involves material experts, media experts, and language experts to assess the feasibility of the module. Students were also involved to obtain feedback on the module's practicality. Data collection used a questionnaire analyzed using descriptive statistics. The research resulted in a Tinkercad Virtual Laboratory Basic Electronics Engineering e-module containing the title, topic, learning objectives, subject matter, circuit simulation activities, practice questions and answer keys, and bibliography. The e-module's feasibility rating, based on assessments by learning media experts, was 94.4%, material experts 87.2%, and language experts 84.2%, categorizing it as highly feasible. Furthermore, the practicality rating, based on the trial scores obtained by 77 PTM students from the Class of 2026, was 81%, categorizing it as practical.

Abstract

The purpose of this study were: (1) to know the effect of adding various variations of camphor powder in pertalite to the moment of torque and power of the 2010 Yamaha Vixion, (2) to determine the effect of using iridium spark plugs on the torque moment and power of the 2010 Yamaha Vixion; and (3) investigate the effect of adding various variations of camphor powder in pertalite and the use of irridium spark plugs to the torque moment and power of the Yamaha Vixion 2010. This study uses a Yamaha Vixion 2010 motorbike with police number AD 2057 BO, and framework number MH33C1005CK959299 This study uses an experimental method design. These data are analyzed by descriptive statistics which means describing the data collected only in the way it is. The results of the study are as follows: (1) There is the effect of adding various camphor powder to pertalite fuel on increasing maximum torque and power in a combination of 1 gram / liter pertalite and camphor powder, (2) There is the effect of using torque and power iridium spark plugs lower than using standard plugs, (3) There is the effect of adding various camphor powder in pertalite fuel and iridium plugs used are a decrease in torque and power in all treatments.

Abstract

In this modern era, almost every student has a smartphone. They use it everyday, not only for communication but also education purpose.  Technologies can be used in education by developing an instructional material based on a smartphone. The aims of this research to improve an e-publication module by identifying the student profile. MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) model is used. It consist of 6 stages: concept, design, collecting material, assembly, testing, and distribution. The student's profile was identified by using a learning style questionnaire and preference assessment. It consists of defining references, module frameworks, and storyboard. Encompasses system testing and testing by experts was taken. Professional teacher in education and instrument expert was invited and did assessment. They evaluated instructional material has made. The research showed the developed module is dominated in the form of text. Learning system media based e-publication compatible with low specs smartphone. Expert score reach 78.87%, it mean good instructional media. Teachers as the subject of this instructional media earned 96.4%. Its mean E-publication help students to learn better.

Abstract

This research aims to test: (1) to know the effect of fuel heating through radial finned pipe in upper tank radiator to fuel consumption of Suzuki APV car, (2) to know the effect of ethanol addition on fuel of gas type pertalite to fuel consumption of Suzuki car APV, and (3) know the effect of fuel heating through radially finned pipes inside the upper tank radiator and the addition of ethanol to the fuel to the fuel consumption of Suzuki APV cars.This research uses experimental method with comparative descriptive data analysis. The research sample used is Suzuki APV with machine number G15A1D100006. Data obtained from the amount of fuel consumption in one minute at idle cycle with variation of percentage of mixed pertalite and ethanol 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, and 30% using the method without heating fuel and using heating Fuel radial finned capillary pipes within the upper tank radiator. The data obtained from the research results are inserted into the table and displayed in graphical form, then analyzed.The results of this research is: (1) the use of fuel heating using radially finned pipe in the upper tank radiator increases fuel consumption in Suzuki APV engines. The highest increase in fuel consumption on fuel heating using radially finned pipes with a spacing of 10 mm fin without ethanol mixture of 81.67 ml / min. Difference of consumption is 20 ml / min or 32.4% of standard state consumption,(2) the addition of ethanol in gasoline can reduce the fuel consumption of Suzuki APV cars. The variation of ethanol addition to the most economical fuel when adding 20% ethanol content of 51.67 ml / min. Difference in consumption 10 ml / min or 16.21% of standard state consumption, (3) the addition of ethanol to fuel and heating fuel decreases fuel consumption on Suzuki APV engines. The largest decrease in consumption at 20% ethanol content and no fuel heating of 51.67 ml / min. Decrease in consumption by 10 ml / min or as much as 16.21% of fuel consumption in the standard state.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mendemonstrasikan variabilitas sifat mekanik lembaran baja SS400 untuk aplikasi bodi kendaraan dengan uji tarik, khususnya untuk bus antar-jemput listrik. Data eksperimental menunjukkan inkonsistensi mekanik yang ekstrem akibat proses penggulungan dingin yang tidak presisi di pabrik; nilai UTS berkisar antara 360–460 MPa, sedangkan regangan perpanjangan berfluktuasi secara drastis dari 13,74% (sangat rapuh) hingga 36,24% (sangat ulet). Ketidakseragaman mikrostruktur ini membawa risiko tinggi memicu cacat sobek dan efek pegas balik yang tidak dapat diprediksi selama proses pencetakan. Sebagai solusinya, diperlukan perlakuan panas lebih lanjut berupa proses anil khusus untuk lembaran tipis guna menata ulang struktur kristal, melepaskan tegangan sisa, dan menstabilkan nilai perpanjangan dalam kisaran aman otomotif 25%–30%. Untuk bus antar-jemput listrik, penerapan proses ini juga sangat penting untuk memastikan kelayakan struktural dalam melindungi kompartemen baterai, menjamin dimensi panel yang tepat untuk mencegah kebocoran udara ke dalam sistem kelistrikan tegangan tinggi, dan mengoptimalkan efisiensi aerodinamis kendaraan tanpa risiko kegagalan material. Melalui optimasi metalurgi ini, pelat SS400 dapat diubah menjadi material struktural yang andal, aman, dan hemat energi.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are 1) to know the correlation between the implementation of intracuricular activities in the five-days school program at Vocational High Schools toward students’ work readiness, 2) to know the correlation between the implementation of co-curricular activities in five-days school program at Vocational High School toward students’ work readiness, 3) to know the correlation between implementation of both activities (intracuricular and co-curricular) or five-days school program in Vocational High School toward students’ work readiness. This research was conducted  in Vocational High School State 5 Surakarta. This research used a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational research design because it is aimed to see the level of correlation between independent and dependent variables. Data collection techniques used in this research is questionnaire. Data testing techniques using simple correlation analysis techniques and multiple correlation using the SPSS application program version 25.0. Based on thefinding of the research , it can be concluded that 1) there is a positive correlation and a significant correlation between the implementation of intracuricular activities in five-days school program toward students’ work readiness as proved by the value of rcount = 0.422 > rtable = 0.174 and the significance value of 0.00 < 0.05, 2) based on that there is a positive correlation and a significant correlation between the implementation of co-curricular activities in five-days school program toward students’ work readiness as proved by value of  rcount = 0.622 > rtable = 0.174 and the significance value is 0.00 < 0.05, 3) there is a positive correlation and a significant correlation between both activities ;intracuricular and co-curricular or the five-days school program in Vocational High School toward the students’ work readiness as proved by the value of Fcount = 40.123 > Ftable = 3.07 and the significance value of 0.00 < 0.05. The finding of this research can be selected as a consideration and suggestions for the government in determining and deciding the policy.
