Abstract

Minyak jelantah merupakan limbah rumah tangga dan industri pangan yang jumlahnya melimpah, serta berpotensi mencemari lingkungan apabila tidak dikelola dengan baik. Disisi lain, minyak jelantah masih mengandung trigliserida yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan baku biodiesel melalui proses transesterifikasi. Penelitian ini bertujun untuk merancang dan menguji kinerja mesin BULUK (Bahan Ulang Limbah Untuk Kendaraan) sebagai alat pengolah minyak jelantah menjadi biodiesel, serta menganalisis karakteristik mutu biodiesel yang dihasilkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental yang meliputi tahapan rancang bangun alat, proses transesterifikasi menggunakan katalis NaOH, serta pengujian mutu biodiesel berdasarkan standar SNI 7182:2015. Proses pengolahan dilakukan dengan variasi suhu reaksi dan tahaoan pemurnian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dari 3 liter minyak jelantah diperoleh biodiesel sebanyak 2,25 liter dengan rendemen sebesar 75%. Hasil uji mutu menunjukan bahwa kadar air, kadar abu, viskositas, dan titik nyala biodiesel telah memenuhi standar SNI, sedangkan parameter densitas dan titik kabut masih memerlukan optimasi lebih lanjut.

Abstract

In order to improve the quality of service at Raswo's workshop, this study aims to determine customer satisfaction at Raswo's Solo Baru Workshop. Research is reviewed from the quality of service and services provided. This research was also conducted to identify other factors that influence the decline in customer satisfaction at Bengkel Raswo Solo Baru. To measure customer satisfaction, explanatory research or often called causal research is used. The population of this study were all customers of Raswo Solo Baru Workshop with a sample size of 30 customers with 24 questions on each questionnaire sheet. Based on the data results, it can be seen that service and service have a positive effect on customer satisfaction. This is indicated by the weighted Average Value (NRR) of 3.8567 from the range (1.00-4.00) and the value of the Community Satisfaction Index (IKM) resulting in a score of 96.418 from the range (25.00-100.00).

Abstract

The objectives of this study were: (1) correlation between Work Preparation Sheet (WPS) and threading skills in practicum on advanced machining practice subjects at Bhinneka Karya Surakarta Vocational School, (2) relationship between instructor role and threading skills in practical subjects of machining practice subjects continued at Bhinneka Karya Surakarta Vocational School, (3) relationship of WPS implementation between the instructor's role simultaneously and the skill of making square threads in practical subjects in advanced machining practice subjects at Bhinneka Karya Surakarta Vocational School. The population of this study was all students from class XI in the mechanical engineering program at Bhinneka Karya Surakarta Vocational High School. The Issac-Michael table of 84 students raised the sample size. The sample members are appointed using simple random sampling technique. This processing data uses IBM SPSS version 21.0 software. The results of this study indicate that the useful contribution given by the WPS variable to the skill of making square yarn is 43.9%, while variations in the role of the instructor create a valuable contribution of 12%. This shows that both variables contribute effectively to the skill of making square yarn by 55.9%, and there are 44.1% influenced by other factors not explained in this study. The implementation of WPS as a medium for practical learning and the instructor role as a facilitator's practice results in students' efficiency in turning machine practices into making square threads in terms of faster time processing and improved practice scores.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Project Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Elemen Gambar Teknik kelas X TKR II SMK Negeri 2 Kupang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 2 Kupang tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Experimental One-Group Pretest-Posttest. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 32 siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model Project Based Learning. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes dan observasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menggunakan SPSS versi 29 dengan uji t diperoleh nilai signifikan ɑ = 0,001 < 0,05. Maka dapat diartikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Project Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar Gambar Teknik siswa kelas X TRK II SMK Negeri 2 Kupang.

Abstract

Liquified Petroleum Gas is a gaseous hydrocarbon produced from gas and oil with the main components being propane and butane. The use of LPG gas fuel was chosen because it is able to reduce the amount of fuel consumption by up to 30% more efficient than fuel oil in general. The use of LPG fuel can be optimized by modifying the size of the pilot jet, the size of the main jet and the gas flow valve opening on the regulator. The purpose of this study was to investigate how big the ratio of fuel consumption between LPG fuel and pertalite fuel is. This study used Honda Supra 125 D as a sample. The variables used in this study include: variations in the size of the pilot jet (40, 42, 45), variations in the size of the main jet (72, 98, 120) and the gas flow valve opening on the regulator (10%, 15%, 20%). The results showed that the lowest LPG fuel consumption value was obtained at 156.5 grams per 10 kilometers, while the pertalite fuel consumption value was obtained at 232.9 grams (after converting from liters to grams). The most influential factor is the replacement of the main jet size on the use of LPG fuel.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the module on students' learning motivation in the subject of welding work. At the same time, to determine the effect of using the module on student achievement in welding work subjects at SMK Negeri 2 Kebumen. The method used in this study is a research method experiment, the implementation of which uses a quasi-experimental type with a nonequivalent control group design. The research was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Kebumen with a sample of 2 classes, namely class XI TP 1 as a group experiment, class XI TP 2 as the control group. To determine the motivation to learn data collection using observation sheets and questionnaires. While to determine learning achievement data collection in the form of test results carried out before and after the learning process (pretest and posttest). The process of teaching and learning activities in the experimental class uses a module entitled Welding Classroom with the SMAW Process, while the control class uses a lecture learning strategy (conventional). The results showed that the effect of using the module on students' learning motivation is categorized as very high/very positive. Proven from the results of the overall student motivation questionnaire mean is 90.41 and the results of observations with the answer "YES as much as 25. The effect of using the module on student achievement is to improve learning outcomes. It is evident from the experimental class learning outcomes at the pretest, the mean is 52, the median is 52.5, the mode is 46, the highest score is 69, and the lowest score is 34. After using the module, the mean 83, median 83, mode 83, the highest score 97, and the lowest score 60. Calculation of the independent sample test t test with an error rate of 5% shows that t table < tcount (1.669 < 3.619). It was decided that there was a significant difference There is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of the experimental class using module media and the conventional learning control class.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to : 1) influence academic and economy to interest enter world industri SMK students throughout Surakarta and influence academic and economist to interest studies carry on SMK students in Surakarta. Method research used in study this that is with method study quantitative descriptive . Population used by 452 students with taking sampel by Simple Random Sampel as many as 213 students . The data collected used questionnaire questionnaire . Technique analysis used that is technique analysis multiple linear regression . Results study show that : 1) there is significant influence between academic variabels to interest enter industrial world with sig value 0.023 < 0.05. 2) there significant influence between economic variabels to interest enter industrial world with sig value 0.00<0.05. 3) there significant influence  between academic variabels to interest studies carry on with score significance 0.046 < 0.05. 4) no there is significant influence between economic variabels to interest studies carry on with score significance 0.174 > 0.05.

Abstract

The Five Day School is a learning program in schools that lasts five days a week. This is an educational innovation that aims to improve the quality of education through the effectiveness and efficiency of the use of time in school. The purpose of this program is to help students be able to share time well between academic and non-academic activities which are both very much needed for student development. This study was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Sawit Boyolali with a qualitative methode approach as a research procedure that produces qualitative descriptive data used is descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques, because the data obtained is in the form of captions. Descriptive data analysis about the effectiveness of implementing five-day school program learning. The results showed that the implementation of PS5H learning at SMK Negeri 1 Sawit Boyolali was implemented well. Teachers of SMK Negeri 1 Sawit Boyolali have given teaching appreciation by improving their abilities and skills by paying attention to lessons in class. The use of time with the application of PS5H teaching and learning hours is carried out effectively and provides a time off on Saturdays and learning outcomes at SMK Negeri 1 Sawit Boyolali are expected to achieve teacher during the 100% targeted teaching process with a remedial target. If the remedial has not yet reached the KKM, assignments will be given until they are able to reach KKM

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characterization of biomass briquettes made from a mixture of coconut shell powder and ketapang fruit powder, using three different composition ratios. The indicators analyzed are the calorific value and the combustion rate produced by the biomass briquettes. The research method used is the Taguchi Method with an experimental model. Three composition ratios of ketapang fruit charcoal powder to coconut shell charcoal powder were used: 60/40, 50/50, and 40/60. All briquette samples were produced with the same density and the same amount of tapioca starch binder, with a density of 0.01083 g/cm³ and 7% tapioca starch based on the total briquette mass of 150 grams. The density measurement in this study follows ASTM D2395-17 standards, with the volume of the biomass briquette calculated as 3.14 × (1.95 cm)² × 3.94 cm. The results show that the composition ratio of 40/60 (ketapang fruit powder/coconut shell powder) produced the highest performance in terms of calorific value and combustion rate, with a calorific value of 6085.38 kcal/g and a combustion rate of 0.20396 g/min

Abstract

The pandemic makes learning in the school environment limited, as a result the ability of students to understand and master the material of a subject decreases. Distance learning / online is the main choice so that the learning process continues. Online learning results in limited students getting learning resources from textbooks, so that their interest in reading and learning decreases. Researchers make innovations to overcome these problems by making an e-module product as student learning material with concepts and material content that are more interesting and easily understood by students. It is hoped that this e-module can increase students' interest in learning in KBGT lessons (workshop work and technical drawing) at SMKN 8 Malang. This study uses the Borg and Gall version of the R&D (Research & Development) method which is simplified by Anik Ghufron. The development model used has four stages, namely preliminary studies, development, field testing, and product development dissemination. This research is based on interviews and validation questionnaires. The results showed that the KBGT e-module developed was declared very feasible with a material validity value of 3.35 and media value of 3.43.
