Individual differences in understanding are crucial in education, requiring teachers to tailor learning activities to meet students' needs. This study conducted as a quasi-experiment, involved 72 students from two classes (XI TM A and XI TM B) at SMK Negeri 1 Magelang during the 2023/2024 academic year. The research utilized a post-test only control group design to assess the effectiveness of peer tutoring. The experimental group had an average score of 96.90, while the control group averaged 94.29. The experimental group's scores ranged from 90.5 to 100 and the control group's scores ranged from 77.5 to 97. Statistical analysis using levene's test showed homogeneous data (Pvalue = 0.189 > α = 0.05). The t-test indicated a significant effect of peer tutoring on students' understanding of technical drawing (Tcount = 4.003 > Ttable = 2.000). The study concluded that peer tutoring significantly improves student performance in the manufacturing engineering drawing subject, recommending further research on its effectiveness in other subjects and educational levels.

This study aims to determine and describe (1) the application of the Project Based Learning learning model assisted by the PICSIMLab simulator software in increasing student activity in the subject of Electronic Control System Design on Vehicles in class XII Autotronic Engineering 1 SMKN 1 Sawit (2) Application of Project Based learning models PICSIM Lab simulator software assisted learning in improving student learning outcomes in the subject of Electronic Control System Design for Vehicles in class XII Autotronic Engineering 1 SMKN 1 Sawit. This research is a Classroom Action Research and conducted in two cycles which aims to determine the management of learning by the teacher, student activities, student learning outcomes, and the responses of class XII students of Autotronic Engineering at SMKN 1 Sawit. This study consisted of two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The implementation of the action uses computer-assisted interactive media with the question-and-answer learning method and discussion. The results showed that the application of the PICSIMLab simulator could increase the activity and learning outcomes of class XII students of Autotronic Engineering 1 in the subject of Electronic Control System Design on Vehicles. The results of the first cycle of action were compared with the results of the second cycle of action. Student activities that appear from all activities, which appear according to indicators have increased, in the first cycle as much as 75%, in the second cycle 87.5%. The average number of student activities in the first cycle was 64.5%, in the second cycle it was 85.3%. The assessment of student learning outcomes in this study was in the form of a post test. Classical learning outcomes in each cycle 79.67% and 92.53%.

Entrepreneurship is one aspect that affects economic growth in Iindonesia. Students are the next generation who are expected to be able to create entrepreneurs in the future. The purpose of this research is to analyze entrepreneurial interest based on vocational education level in mechanical engineering and the factors driving this interest. This research uses a mix-method that combines a quantitative approach and a qualitative approach. The subjects of the research were Class XII students of State 2 Vocational High School in Surakarta, department of mechanical engineering, totaling 120 people and D3 Mechanical Engineering students at Sebelas Maret University, totaling 57 people. Data collection techniques to determine the entrepreneurial interest of students (quantitative data) using the questionnaire method while knowing the factors that influence entrepreneurial interest (qualitative data) using the interview method. Analysis of data for quantitative data using descriptive analysis and for qualitative data using thematic analysis. The result showed that the majority of students wanted to be entrepreneurs but a different levels of time. Factors that influence entrepreneurial interest are divided into two, namely internal factors and external factors. The internal factors driving entrepreneurial interest are motivation that comes from the individual’s self and enthusiasm to face risk challenges. External factors driving or family, entrepreneurial interest are motivation the arises due to the influence of friends or family, entrepreneurial experience and entrepreneurship education.

The aims of this study are : (1) To determine the effect of using racing coil on the power generated of 4 step motorcycle 125 cc, (2) To determine the effect of using racing coil on the torque generated of 4 step motorcycle 125 cc. The research method used is experimental. The data of this research was obtained by taking measurements on sample of Honda Blade 125 FI 2014 motorcycle. The independent variables were standard ignition coil and racing ignition coil. The variables were maximum shaft power dan maximum shaft torque measured using a dynamometer. The data obtained were then analyzed using quantitative descriptive techniques by describing in the form of graphs and tables. The result of the study are : (1) The use of racing ignition coil has a higher effect on the power produced. (2) The use of racing ignition coil has a lower effect on the torque produced.

The purpose of this research are: (1) Investigate the influence of the type of electrolyzer on Hydrogen Eco Booster towards the level of exhaust emissions (CO and HC) 4 stroke motorcycle. (2) Investigate the influence of the kind of solvent on Hydrogen Eco Booster towards the level of exhaust emissions (CO and HC) 4 stroke motorcycle. (3) Investigate the influence of the type of electrolyzer and the kind of solvent on Hydrogen Eco Booster towards the level of exhaust emissions (CO and HC) 4 stroke motorcycle. This research was conducted at the Automotive Laboratory of Mechanical Engineering Education, Teacher Training and Education Faculty Sebelas Maret University of Surakarta used a Honda Supra X 125 motorcycle, year of manufacture 2013. This study is an experimental research. The method of collecting data used in the research is measurement method. The data obtained from the test results were analyzed using Two-Way Anova Test and followed by One-Sample T Test and Scheffe Test. The results of this research are: (1) There is a significance effect on the type of electrolyzer on Hydrogen Eco Booster towards to decrease the level of exhaust emissions (CO and HC) 4 stroke motorcycle, (Sig-value of CO gas=0.001 < α=0.05) and (Sig-value of HC gas=0.000 < α=0.05). (2) There is a significance effect on the kind of solvent on the Hydrogen Eco Booster towards to decrease the level of exhaust emissions (CO and HC) 4 stroke motorcycle, (Sig-value of CO gas=0.000 < α=0.05) and (Sig-value of HC gas=0.000 < α=0.05). (3) There is a significance effect interaction between the type of electrolyzer and the kind of solvent on the Hydrogen Eco Booster towards to decrease the level of exhaust emissions (CO and HC) 4 stroke motorcycle, (Sig-value of CO gas=0.000 < α=0.05) and (Sig-value of HC gas=0.000 < α=0.05). The lowest CO gas obtained on the Wet Cell type using the kind of solvent KOH with a decrease of 84.41%. The lowest HC gas obtained on the Dry Cell type using the kind of solvent NaOH with a decrease of 69.62%.

This study aims to determine the positive and significant effect of students' perceptions of the completeness of school workshop facilities on the work readiness level of Grade XII students majoring in Light Vehicle Engineering at SMK Bina Karya Karanganyar. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive research design. In this study, the independent variable (X) is the completeness of school workshop facilities, while the dependent variable (Y) is the level of student work readiness. The sample used in this study consisted of 70 students from Class XII TKR 1 and XII TKR 2 at SMK Bhinneka Karya Karanganyar in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected using a Likert scale. The results showed that the completeness of school workshop facilities had a positive and significant effect on the level of work readiness of students in Grade XII of the Light Vehicle Engineering Department at SMK Bina Karya Karanganyar. This was proven by the t-test results with a t-value of 4.077 and a significance of 0.000 (< 0.05). The results of the coefficient of determination test show that the completeness of school workshop facilities contributes 19.6% to student work readiness, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside this study. Thus, the better the completeness of school workshop facilities, the higher the students' work readiness.

The objective of research was to find out the effect of current on microstructure and hardness value in Aluminium Alloy 6061 before (raw material) and after welding using Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding method with filler rod ER4043. This research uses experiment methods. Technique of analyzing data used was a descriptive comparative research. The instruments used for testing microstructure and hardness were Olympus Metallurgical Microscope and Vikers Hardness Tester. Base on the result of research, it could be concluded that the result of microstructure testing showed the reduced Mg2Si phase width after welding. In raw material, the Mg2Si phase seemed to diffuse surrounding the α-Al phase surface, but the result of welding using TIG welding method with current of I00 A, 110 A, and 115A showed that Mg2Si phase reduced in each specimen, so that α-Al phase was very dominant. The hardness value of hardness result showed the different hardness level. The specimen with current of 110A had higher hardness level of 65.4 VHN than the specimen with current of 100 A (55.7 VHN) and 115 A (55.9 VHN). The result of hardness testing on raw material was 120.4 VHN. This research showed that the welding using varying current changed microstructure and affected the hardness value of Aluminum Alloy 6061.

The purpose of this study is to: 1) Analyse the factors affecting the damage of medium-sized excavator pumps with type 330LC-9s; and 2) analyse the impact of pump damage on medium-scale excavators with Type 330L C-9s. This type of research is qualitative with purposive sampling techniques. The population of the sample of this research was an employee in the rental workshop of excavators, with with a sample chief mechanic, expert technician, and three operators. The researchers conducted active participation observations. The results of this study are: 1) The factors causing the failure of the hydraulic pump excavators R 330LC-9s are the lack of attention of operators in operations in the field, the use of instruments that do not match their capacity, a lack of periodic service, and mechanical repairs that are not in accordance with procedures. 2) When the hydraulic pump excavators R 330LC-9s have problems, they become low-power, so noise and operational function are not at their maximum. So we need to replace spare parts, replace oil, and regularly maintain both mechanically and procedurally.

Vehicle technology is still not effective in saving fuel consumption. Various attempts have been made to reduce fuel consumption in motorized vehicles. This is done to prevent the depletion of the availability of fossil energy, especially petroleum. One of the emerging technological innovations is the Magic ring. Magic ring is a technology to reduce fuel consumption by reducing the diameter of the exhaust manifold channel with a special design. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of the Magic ring on the fuel consumption of motorized vehicles (gasoline engines). This study used an experimental method on a single cylinder 110cc four-stroke gasoline motorcycle engine. This study uses three types of fuel, RON 90, RON 92, and RON 98 for fuel consumption in ml / minute, and data analysis using quantitative descriptive. The results of this study are looking for the most efficient fuel consumption in each type of fuel at 1500 rpm. The results show that there is an effect of installing a Magic ring in saving fuel consumption. Evidence of this is the increase in the value of fuel consumption savings with a percentage of 23.3% at RON 90, 21.5% at RON 92, 19.4% at RON 98. The test results show that the installation of Magic rings is effective in reducing fuel consumption and can used in the future to save fuel.

The braking system is a vital component in railway operations that plays an important role in ensuring travel safety. One of the main components in an air brake system is the distributor valve, which functions to regulate the distribution of air pressure to the brake cylinder. This study aims to analyze the performance of the distributor valve in a passenger train braking system based on an air brake system. The methods used include field observations, literature studies, and analysis of the working process and pressure response of the braking system. The results show that the distributor valve is capable of responding effectively to changes in brake pipe pressure, with a maximum pressure reaching 3.8 bar, thereby producing optimal braking force. In addition, the system demonstrates stability during both the braking and brake release processes in accordance with the working principles of the air brake system. Therefore, the performance of the distributor valve is considered to meet operational standards and plays an important role in maintaining the safety of the railway braking system.
