Abstract

This article presents a comprehensive five-year inclusive school transition plan (2025–2030) for SDN 3 Tunjungan, Blora Regency, Central Java. A qualitative approach with a single case study design was employed. Data were collected through document analysis, participatory observation, and semi-structured in-depth interviews with eight informants: the principal, teachers, parents of children with special needs, and a district education supervisor. Data analysis followed the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña (2014) model, with validity ensured through source and method triangulation. SDN 3 Tunjungan possesses significant social capital to support transition, including community-based solidarity values, adaptive school leadership, and strong parental engagement traditions. The transition plan is structured into five spiral stages: (1) foundation and awareness-building, (2) system and infrastructure development, (3) full Universal Design for Learning implementation, (4) consolidation and external validation, and (5) policy institutionalization. Six sustainability pillars were identified: policy embedding, continuous teacher capacity development, diversified funding, inclusive school culture, strategic partnerships, and public accountability monitoring. This study contributes a contextual inclusive transition model adaptable by public elementary schools in rural Indonesia. The practical implication of this study is that schools can replicate this spiral transition model by leveraging existing social capital, securing multi-source funding, and establishing institutional policies that sustain inclusive education beyond individual leadership cycles.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to understand the learning concentration of fifth-grade MI students in the context of classical guidance services. This study used a qualitative method with data collection through a questionnaire distributed to 29 students. The questionnaire aims to measure students' attention to the teacher, focus while studying, concentration disorders, and student interest during teaching and learning activities. The findings of this study indicate that student concentration is quite good. The majority of students managed to pay attention and listen to the teacher's explanation well and were able to focus when completing assignments. However, there are several factors that hinder student concentration, such as being easily distracted by friends, feeling bored during learning, playing while the teacher is explaining, and difficulty understanding the material being taught. Therefore, classical tutoring services are considered very important to help students improve their concentration by providing understanding, motivation, and focus training during the learning process.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine if the Structured Dyadic Method (SDM) was effective in teaching first-year students at SMAN 2 Aikmel how to read narrative texts. The study was an experiment, and the design used was the Pre-test-Post-test Control and Experimental Group Design. The study included first-year students from SMAN 2 Aikmel, and there were five classes in total. Two classes were selected as samples using cluster random sampling. The first class, X.IPA-1, was the Experimental Group and was taught using the SDM method. The second class, X.IPA-2, was the Control Group and was taught using the traditional method. The sample of research was 82 students. The data was checked using a statistical method called the T-test. The analysis results show that the average score for the Experimental group was 69.33 and for the Control group was 58.3. The t-test value (to) is 1.838, and the t-table value (tt) from a table with 80 degrees of freedom at a 5% significance level is 1.664. Since the to value is greater than the tt value, this indicates a statistically significant difference between the two groups. A researcher calculated the difference score between to and tt, and it came out to be 0.174. Because students who were taught using the structured dyadic method scored better on their achievement test compared to those who were taught reading English texts through Pre-Questioning or the traditional teaching method. So, the alternative hypothesis was accepted, and the null hypothesis was clearly rejected. It can be said that the Structured Dyadic Method (SDM) works well for teaching reading narrative texts to first-year students at SMAN 2 Aikmel.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of mobile-based game learning media on junior high school students’ mathematical conceptual understanding in Indonesia. The research employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method following the PRISMA protocol, which includes identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion stages. The literature search was conducted through Google Scholar and other relevant databases within the publication range of 2022–2026. Based on the predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria, four relevant articles were selected for analysis. The results indicate that mobile game-based learning media are generally effective in improving students’ conceptual understanding of mathematics. This effectiveness is reflected in improved learning outcomes, deeper conceptual comprehension, and the transformation of abstract concepts into more concrete forms through visualization and interactivity. In addition, the use of educational games positively influences students’ motivation, interest, and engagement in the learning process. However, the level of effectiveness is influenced by several factors, including technological readiness, students’ prior knowledge, and instructional strategies applied by teachers. Therefore, mobile-based game learning media have strong potential as an innovative approach to support meaningful mathematics learning at the junior high school level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the leadership values demonstrated by Khadijah bint Khuwaylid and explain their actualization in building female character in primary education. This study employed a qualitative research method using a library research approach. Data were collected from books, scientific journals, articles, and previous studies related to women’s leadership, character education, and Islamic educational values. The collected data were analyzed using content analysis techniques. The findings indicate that Khadijah bint Khuwaylid demonstrated leadership values including independence, responsibility, confidence, empathy, and social awareness. These values remain relevant to contemporary character education and may be actualized through value-based learning activities, positive role models, supportive school environments, and collaboration between schools and families. Therefore, Khadijah's leadership values can serve as an inspirational framework for strengthening female character development in primary education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the construction of subject and object positions of female characters, identify the positioning of readers, and compare the contrast of feminist ideologies in the novels Saman by Ayu Utami and Perempuan di Titik Nol by Nawal El Saadwi through the perspective of Sara Mills' feminist critical discourse analysis. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive-comparative method. The data sources consisted of the novels Saman and Perempuan di Titik Nol. Data collection techniques were conducted through documentation studies using close reading and note-taking methods. Data analysis was carried out through structural data reduction, Sara Mills' textual analysis, cross-cultural comparison, and drawing conclusions. The findings reveal that both novels successfully deconstruct the position of women from passive objects into subjects who possess linguistic authority and agency in resisting patriarchy. Female characters in Saman are constructed as plural and autonomous subjects fighting for bodily rights and individual freedom (characteristics of liberal feminism), whereas the character of Firdaus in Perempuan di Titik Nol transforms into a solitary liberated subject after experiencing extreme structural violence (characteristics of radical feminism). The similarity between the two novels lies in their rejection of gender subordination, while the difference manifests in the resistance strategies shaped by the socio-cultural spaces of Indonesia and Egypt. The findings of this study have implications as alternative literary teaching materials in senior high schools to foster students' critical literacy and gender equality in accordance with the demands of the Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka).
