Abstract

This study aims to clearly describe the implementation of constructivistic theory in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Islamiyah Lumajang. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach, with the type of case study. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Determination of research subjects using purposive. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis used is the field data analysis model of Miles, Huberman and Saldana which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing / verification. Data validity uses triangulation of sources and techniques. The planning of constructivistic theory in learning IPA class III is carried out by teachers by determining the learning syllabus, Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) and determining learning media that are relevant to constructivistic theory, 2. The implementation of constructivistic theory in class III science learning includes preliminary activities, core activities which contain five stages, namely introduction, exploration, restructuring, application, review and evaluation, and closing activities, 3. Evaluation of constructivistic theory in class III science learning refers to affective aspects using attitude assessment, cognitive aspects using written assessments in the form of descriptions, psychomotor aspects using performance assessments.

Abstract

ABSTRACK The idea of ​​scientific development initiated by Thomas Samuel Kuhn is known as the scientific revolution. The idea of ​​a scientific revolution assumes that the development of science takes place in a drastic and revolutionary way. Thomas Samuel Kuhn prefers a view of science that departs from a historical perspective or the history of science as the basis for his thinking. He saw that the history of science should be taught by the philosophy of science to be able to understand the true nature of science and scientific activity. Thomas Samuel Kuhn's thoughts should be associated with Islamic thought so that it becomes a challenge for Muslims in taking the meaning of scientific revolution. The focus of this research is the study of the scientific thought of Thomas Samuel Kuhn, which then draws the thread on the implications of Islamic thought. This study aims to determine knowledge according to the thought of Thomas Samuel Kuhn and its implications when associated with Islamic thought. This research is a literature based research (library research) using descriptive-analytical method. The approach used in this research is a holistic approach that looks at science with its various internal and external aspects.

Abstract

The ASSUR learning model which stands for components or important steps contained in several concepts in it, including; A = Analize learner characteristics, S = State performance objectives, S = Select method, media, and materials (selecting methods, media, and teaching materials), U = Utilize technology, media, and materials (utilizing media, technology, and teaching materials), R = Requires learner participation (involving learner participation), E = Evaluate and revise. This model is suitable for use in analyzing the learning material to be taught. In this case, researchers are interested in conducting research on the Application of Assure Learning Models in the Analysis of Thematic Learning Materials Grade 3 Soup Theme 1 Learners 1. The purpose of this study is to find out the material to be taught from the teacher's book. From the results of our analysis of the Application of the Assure Learning Model in the Analysis of Thematic Learning Materials for Grade 3 Soup Theme 1 Learners 1. We can conclude that in the Thematic material of Class 3 Sup Theme 1 Learner 1 which teaches about the growth and development of living beings in the material is divided into 3 materials, namely, mathematics, B.Indonesia, and SBDP. Abstract

Learning that occurs today is often still transmissive, where students passively absorb the knowledge structure given by the teacher or the material in the textbook. Meanwhile, ideal learning is learning that is able to encourage children's creativity as a whole, make students active, achieve learning objectives effectively and take place in a pleasant condition. Therefore, it takes a learning design model that is appropriate and suitable, especially in learning IPAS class IV. The purpose of this study is to analyze the Natural and Social Sciences material of grade IV Madrasah Ibtidaiyah from the perspective of the Jerold Kemp model. This research uses qualitative research methods and this type of research is included in descriptive research. The results of the study based on the analysis of the material that has been done, namely the flow of learning material in the IPAS module book grade IV semester 1 using constructivism learning theory, the material in the module uses problem-based learning or commonly called Problem Based Learning and there is a lack of concrete illustrative images on the material.

Abstract

Risky sexual behaviours in Indonesia is gradually increasing. In a country where society is based on the values of belief in God, this phenomenon represents an imbalance between morality and reality. Therefore, education is very important to internalise values so that students maintain their sexuality and only express it in ways permitted by religion. State High School (SMAN) 2 of Jember and Al-Furqan High School (SMA) of Jember are chosen as research locations to present educational institutions, especially in Jember Regency, which implement sexual education in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. This research focuses on: 1) PAI learning about manners of associating with the opposite sex at SMAN 2 Jember and SMA Al-Furqan Jember, 2) PAI learning about sexual deviances at SMAN 2 Jember and SMA Al-Furqan Jember. Thus, this research is aimed at: 1) Analysing PAI learning about manners of associating with the opposite sex at SMAN 2 Jember and SMA Al-Furqan Jember, 2) Analysing PAI learning about sexual deviances at SMAN 2 Jember and SMA Al-Furqan Jember. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of collective case study. Research subjects are determined purposively while data collection is carried out through interviews, observations, and document studies. The data is analysed using the interactive data analysis model by Miles, et al and the explanation building model by Robert K. Yin. The validity of the data is checked through persistent observation, triangulation, use of reference materials, and peer debriefing. The findings of this research show: 1) PAI learning about manners of associating with the opposite sex at SMAN 2 Jember and SMA Al-Furqan Jember is integrated into the learning chapter on avoiding adultery and promiscuity. The success of this learning cannot be determined because there is no comprehensive evaluation to measure the achievement of learning objectives. SMAN 2 Jember compromises the concept of Islamic Religious Education with the cultural reality of public school which results in a synthesis, namely the partial implementations of the Islamic Religious Education concept on manners of associating with the opposite sex, while SMA Al-Furqan Jember strictly enforces the Islamic Religious Education concept on manners of associating with the opposite sex as an absolute value through repressive measures. 2) PAI learning about sexual deviance at SMAN 2 Jember and SMA Al-Furqan Jember focuses on discussing adultery which is also integrated into the learning chapter on avoiding adultery and promiscuity. This learning is supported by the rule prohibiting students from committing immoral acts at SMAN 2 Jember, while at SMA Al-Furqan Jember the rule is anticipated earlier for actions that are considered "near to adultery".

Abstract

Memperdalam ilmu agama atau Tafaqquh Fiddin merupakan salah satu tujuan penting pendidikan di pondok pesantren. Berbeda dengan sekolah formal dan madrasah, pondok pesantren mengkaji dan mendalami kitab kuning untuk memahami agama Islam. Dalam memahami kitab kuning yang tersusun dari bahasa Arab tanpa harakat tidaklah mudah, membutuhkan usaha besar untuk dapat membaca dan memahaminya. Pemahaman terhadap bahasa Arab, ilmu Nahwu dan Sharaf menjadi pendukung dalam memahami dan membaca kitab kuning dengan mudah dan benar. Kitab kuning memiliki posisi dan peran yang signifikan di pesantren. Meskipun masih diajarkan, ada dugaan pergeseran dalam pengajaran kitab kuning di pesantren seiring dengan pengadopsian sistem pendidikan di luar pesantren seperti sistem madrasah dan sekolah. Selain itu ada dugaan sebagian pesantren tidak memiliki spesifikasi pendalaman ilmu tertentu tetapi memilih mengajarkan berbagai bidang keilmuan. Dengan mengambil kasus di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Islam Antirogo Jember, tulisan ini memperlihatkan masih kuatnya pengajaran kitab kuning di pesantren ini. Bahkan pesantren ini merupakan salah satu pusat pengajaran kitab kuning bagi masyarakat sekitar hingga luar kota Jember. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi pembelajaran kitab kuning khusus bagi pemula atau santri yang masih belum bisa membaca kitab kuning melalui program Takhasus. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif karena data yang diperoleh akan dianalisis dan disajikan dengan kata-kata deskriptif, sedangkan jenis penelitiannya adalah studi kasus tentang program takhasus pada pembelajaran kitab kuning di pondok pesantren Nurul Islam jember. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan dalam menganalisis data yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data, kondensasi, penyajian data dan terakhir adalah penarikan kesimpulan. Keywords: Implementasi, Program Takhasus, Kitab Kuning.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kata Kunci: Implementasi, Strategi Tutor Sebaya, Kitab Klasik. Pesantren memiliki peran sangat penting dalam perkembangan pendidikan Islam. Strategi pembelajaran kitab klasik biasanya hanya berpacu kepada strategi bandongan atau sorogan. Tetapi yang menarik di pondok pesantren Nurul hidayah mangli jember ini adalah, dalam pembelajaran kitab klasiknya tidak hanya menggunakan strategi bandongan dan sorogan akan tetapi juga menggunakan strategi tutor sebaya. Fokus penelitian dalam penelitian ini yaitu (1) Bagaimana implementasi strategi tutor sebaya dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran membaca kitab klasik fathul qarib di pondok pesantren Nurul Hidayah Mangli Jember? (2) Bagaimana implementasi strategi tutor sebaya dalam mengembangkan minat membaca kitab klasik fathul qarib di pondok pesantren Nurul Hidayah Mangli Jember? (3) Bagaimana implementasi strategi tutor sebaya dalam mengembangkan kemampuan membaca kitab klasik fathul qarib di pondok pesantren Nurul Hidayah Mangli Jember? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana implementasi strategi tutor sebaya dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran membaca kitab klasik fathul qarib di pondok pesantren Nurul Hidayah Mangli Jember. (2) Untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana implementasi strategi tutor sebaya dalam mengembangkan minat membaca kitab klasik fathul qarib di pondok pesantren Nurul Hidayah Mangli Jember. (3) Untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana implementasi strategi tutor sebaya dalam mengembangkan kemampuan membaca kitab klasik fathul qarib di pondok pesantren Nurul Hidayah Mangli Jember. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatakan kualitatif jenis studi kasus. Teknik penentuan subyek penelitian dengan purposive. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, interview, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dengan analisis interaktif model Miles, Huberman dan Saldana. Uji keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi teknik, triangulasi sumber, dan member check. Hasil penelitian 1) Implementasi strategi tutor sebaya dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran membaca kitab klasik fathul qarib yakni santri belajar, menghafal, lalu menyetorkannya kepada tutor. Strategi ini cukup efektif dan bermanfaat bagi tutor maupun yang ditutori. 2) Implementasi strategi tutor sebaya dalam mengembangkan minat membaca kitab klasik fathul qarib yakni motivasi diri juga lingkungan. 3) Implementasi strategi tutor sebaya dalam mengembangkan kemampuan membaca kitab klasik fathul qarib yakni faham qawaid, mufradat, memahami isi kitab dan mampu menjelaskan isi kitab.

Abstract

In the world of learning institutions, educators do not escape material studies and have strategies in conveying material to make it easier for students to understand the material. This study used a qualitative approach with the type of classroom action research (CAR) carried out through two cycles, each cycle carried out following the planning, acting, observing and reflecting procedures. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and tests. The results showed: 1) Educators plan material as attractive as possible in conveying it through audio-visual media so that students experience an increase in student achievement with the following average scores: pretest I with an average score of 67.75 and pretest II 71.5 and posttest score I average value 79.65 and posttest II 87.8. The increase in student achievement can be seen in the N-gain values, namely: Ngain I 0.3402491 which is rounded up to 0.3 and N-gain II 0.5545 which is rounded up to 0.5. 2) Educators provide examples of behavior in the classroom so that they then assign assignments to students to foster an attitude of responsibility, confidence and discipline. 3) students experience development in terms of skills to explain their answers and in delivery they are no longer stammering. This is because students first understand the contents of the answers and examples.

Abstract

The internalization of the character value of love for homeland is meant to unify differences and the spirit of love of country to bring together all groups, regardless of their culture, ethnicity, customs, and religion. However, violent incidents in the name of religion have frequently emerged and are known as radicalism in Indonesia. In response to this threat, the student council of Universitas Islam Jember, supported by the students and the rector, declared the campus anti-radicalism, stating that this declaration manifests their love for the country. For Universitas Islam Jember campus members under the auspices of the Nahdatul Ulama education foundation, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia and the Pancasila ideology are non-negotiable principles. To analyze and describe the stages of internalizing the character values of love of country in preventing radicalism at the Islamic University of Jember. This research uses a qualitative approach, producing descriptive data in written or spoken words and observable behaviours about internalizing character values of love of country in preventing radicalism. The results of this study show that the character value of love of country is embodied in the rules of the campus institution under the auspices of the Nahdatul Ulama foundation, the campus vision and mission that are not only for Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah An Nahdliyah, but also have a high commitment to upholding Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution, strengthening the love of country through PKKBM, seminars, and general courses, applying love of country through ceremonial events such as Independence Day, National Student Day, national recitation, and so on, singing national anthems and hubbul wathan in every important event or activity, displaying photos of the president, vice president, Garuda, and the campus and department vision and mission in every classroom, and declaring Universitas Islam Jember as an anti-radicalism campus. With the character value of love of country embedded and continuously reinforced, there is no room for radicalism to grow and develop. This is because everything applied and practised at the Universitas Islam Jember campus is contrary to the characteristics or indicators of radicalism.
