Abstract

An understanding of mathematical concepts can be obtained through traditional game play. Traditional games are one of the fun activities and things that are close to the kids in this elementary school students. Traditional games contain cultural values ​​that are essentially inherited heritage that must be preserved. In Jember district there is a tourist village that seeks to preserve the traditional game, the Tanoker. Researchers interested in conducting research to find out how the mathematical concepts contained in the traditional game of children used to bridge the mathematics material in school with a child's playground in the Area Learning Learning Tanoker Ledokombo District Jember District. The purpose of this research is to identify the traditional game that is played and to describe the mathematical concept that is embedded in each traditional game played by the children in the learning area of ​​Tanoker Ledokombo sub-district, Jember District. This research is descriptive qualitative research, where researcher use qualitative method with data collecting technique in form of interview, observation and documentation as triangulation form to get data and to determine the validity of data. The results are found: from the traditional game of bamboo sticks the mathematical concepts that can be learned by the students include the concept of counting, the concept of a right triangle wake-up, the concept of a unit of length, the theorem concept, the concept of linear inequality one variable; in the traditional game grang batok can be identified the concept of mathematics that is the concept of counting, the concept of wake up half-ball space, the concept of linear inequality one variable; whereas in the traditional game clogs can be identified mathematical concepts as follows the concept of hiding, the concept of parallel between two lines, and the concept of one-to-one correspondence.

Abstract

The purpose of education itself is creating a generation that is not only clever in terms of knowledge, but a generation that has a spiritual attitude, adopting noble and have a beneficial skill for himself, the community, the nation and the State. The purpose of education can be said to achieve optimal results then the need for an assessment of the learning process of learners. The assessment is a general term that includes all the usual methods used to assess the performance of students in learning. In curriculum 2013 of his judgement is one of the cornerstones of authentic assessment, teachers assess competency and learning outcomes based on with what has been achieved by learners in their learning. Authentic assessment is an assessment that is conducted to assess the real teachers who have done good learners process as well as results by using a variety of techniques and instruments of valid assessment so that it can be proved that competence set out really has mastered by learners. authentic assessment include the competencies, knowledge, attitudes and skills. authentic assessment include the competencies, knowledge, attitudes and skills The goal of authentic Assessment itself, among others, (1) assess the ability of the individual through a specific task, (2) determine the needs of learning, (3) assist and encourage students. the implementation of the Authentic assessment using many of the techniques that can be used to assess the competency of attitude (observations, self-assessment, peer reviewed, journal entry teacher and interview), knowledge (oral test, test and assignments), and skills (performance assessment, projects, and portfolio assessment). as for the format of the assessment of each competency that exists in the assessment of authentic can be developed by teachers.

Abstract

Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Sumbersari is an institution appointed by the Ministry of Religion of Indonesia to implement the Curriculum 2013 both on thematic and religious learning in accordance with the Decision of Director General of Islamic Education No. 481 of 2015 on Stipulation of Madrasah Assistance 2013 Curriculum Implementation. How to implement thematic learning in 2013 curriculum in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Sumbersari Jember Regency. Some of the elements used as the focus of this research are how the implementation of thematic learning in the curriculum 2013 in setting the lesson theme in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Sumbersari Jember regency, how the implementation of thematic learning in the curriculum 2013 in the principles of determining the theme, how the implementation of thematic learning in the 2013 curriculum in setting the theme network, and how the implementation of thematic learning in the 2013 curriculum in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Sumbersari Jember District. Through the qualitative research, the results of research show that: First, the implementation of thematic lesson in the curriculum 2013 at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Sumbersari, in the process of determining the theme, the teacher and students is not the one who create the theme, instead the theme has been determined by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia with the issuance of Permendikbud No 57 of 2014. Second, Implementation of thematic lesson in the 2013 curriculum at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Sumbersari in the principle of determining the theme based on the principles that pay attention to students' environment, train students to think, and according to the development, interest, and the students need. Thirdly, the implementation of thematic learning in the 2013 curriculum at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Sumbersari in determining the theme network is done by the theme network interaction in the implementation of thematic learning and the theme network that already exist in the teacher handbook. Fourth, the implementation of thematic learning in the 2013 curriculum at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Sumbersari in the implementation of learning activities includes: preliminary activities, core activities, and closing activities.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) describe the preparation of media utilization in learning the concept of multiplication and distribution in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum Serut 01, (2) to describe media utilization activity in multiplication concept learning and distribution in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum Serut 01, and (3 ) Describes the follow-up of media utilization in multiplication concept learning and distribution in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum Serut 01. This research uses qualitative approach, with qualitative descriptive method. Type of research used case study. The location of research is Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum Serut 01 Serutan Panti Jember. Research subject is determined by purposive technique. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using interactive techniques Miles and Huberman model includes data collection, data reduction, display data, and conclusion: drawing / verification. Data validity technique used in this research is credibility test through triangulation and member check. Triangulation used includes triangulation of data sources and data collection techniques. The results of the research are as follows: (1) Preparation of media utilization in multiplication concept learning and distribution in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum Serut 01 include: (a) media selection based on learning objectives and materials, access to media, mastery of use, and conformity with the level of development of participants (b) the media is strived to come from everyday learners, so that learners feel that the material learned closely and can be applied in daily life, (c) the preparation of clear media demonstration instructions by teachers to direct the focus of learners on the learning process that took place. (2) Media utilization activities in multiplication concept learning and distribution in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum Serut 01, include: (a) media layout and student seating arranged to enable access of all learners to media and interaction among learners and participation active learners, (b) media utilized involving the demonstration and active participation of learners through the selection of appropriate strategies and methods. (3) The follow-up of media utilization in learning the concept of multiplication and distribution in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum Serut 01, covering: (a) Discussion both group and classical to draw conclusion, so the concept formed is the result of discovery (learners) the learning sequences experienced. (b) evaluation of media support to the learning materials integrated in the learning series through the evaluation instrument of learning achievement objectives.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of game card number method on the motivation and student learning outcomes on the fractional material in the fourth grade MI Hasyim Asy'ari Pontang Ambulu Jember. The research method used is quasi experimental research with the number of students experiment class and control each 20 students. Data collection techniques that is by using pretes and postes. The data analysis used is T test. The result of data analysis with T test at level of 95% confidence indicates that student learning result of experiment class that use game method of number card better than student in control class that does not use game method of number card. From the results of the above analysis the researchers drew the conclusion that the students' learning outcomes using the program of the card number game method is higher than the students who do not use the method of card numbering. So the number card game method can be used as an alternative of learning media that can improve the motivation and student learning outcomes

Abstract

This study examines the effect of mind mapping on the understanding of student concepts in Islamic religious education. Understanding the concept is a form of interpreting, translating an information in the form of objects, activities, abstractions (segregation) as well as events that students have received into semantic memory, then students declare the information using its own way. The problem in this research is whether there is a significant influence of the use of mind map towards understanding the concept in the Islamic education subject. The research method was conducted with quasi experiment with nonequivalent pretest-post test control group design. Hypothesis testing was analyzed using different test (t-test) with 5% significance level. The result of Ho hypothesis testing which states there is no difference of mean score of concept comprehension between student group using mind map with using lecture rejected. The results showed that the significance value of 0.000 is much smaller than the required level of significance of 0.05. It can be concluded that the use of mind map can influence the understanding of the concept of students in Islamic religious education.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the problematic of integrated thematic learning in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri III Bondowoso. This research uses qualitative approach, case study type. Data collection techniques used in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation study. The collected data is interpreted and analyzed using data reduction process, data presentation and conclusion. The validity of the data is checked by credibility test through extension of engagement and observation; triangulation; member checks, and conduct peer examination, dependability, confirmability, and transferability. Conclusion of this research: 1) Problem planning is: a) teacher still adopt RPP which become reference of learning: b) less critical in doing adaptation; c) lack of accuracy in elaborating operational verbs on basic competencies to be Indicators; and e) lesson planning done less in accordance with scientific theory. 2) The problem of learning implementation are: a) Teachers are less professional; b) Teachers difficulty in providing an integrated understanding of students; c) Teachers have difficulty converting subjects; d) Teachers difficult to integrate maple; e) Unavailability of adequate learning facilities; and e) Students cannot understand the implementation of integrative thematic learning. 3) the problem of integrative thematic assessment is: a) the teacher difficulties assessing each maple on the report card about the students' attitudes; b) practically the conduct of the assessment is not in accordance with the principle of assessment that should be done in integrative thematic learning activities; c) in general teachers can carry out an authentic assessment; and 4) The strategies that will be used to streamline integrative thematic learning activities are by: a) improving teachers' human resources through training activities; b) pursuing educational channels appropriate to their field; c) hold regular meetings of coordination meetings between KKM conducted every 3 months; and d) on improving aspects of learning tools by supplementing the latest literature reading books in order for students to have additional knowledge.

Abstract

Abstract Education is a place for individual to improve Intelektual Question (IQ), Emotional Question (EQ), Spiritual Question (SQ), also skill or competency in personal ourselves. But not all the children were born normally and perfect. We can see there are many children have disabilities phisically and mentaly. Disability children (ABK) is an idiom for children who have disability. Disability Senior High School (SMALB) Bhakti Wanita Lumajang is a special department which is holding education for disabililty children for all kind of disabilities, such as child with impaired vision or tunanetra (A), hearing disorders and talking or tunarungu wicara (B), child with mental disorder or tunagrahita (C), and disability or tuna daksa (D). The curriculum purpose at Disability Senior High School (SMALB) Bhakti Wanita Lumajang is not communities necessities, but how with their capability and skill in them they can be accepted by the communitiy. Strategy of delivering learning that is used in learning process has an important role and take precedence, so that what has planned and concepted before by a educatior especially indicator achievement of learning deals with the purpose that has been decided.

Abstract

The strategy of learning is really needen either for teachers or students. For the teachers, the strategy can be the guidelines and references to implement the learning systematically. For the students, the usage of learning strategy can facilitate the learning process and hasten the understanding of the lesson, because every strategy is composed to make the learning process much easier. The learning processof learning management strategyis very important role in order to help the teachers in delivering the learning material to the students. The strategy of learning management is a way to organize the student’s interaction with the variables methods which can lead to a conducive, effective and efficient learning process.
