Abstract

Perception about teacher?s teaching variation and the utilization of museums trinil to the history learning interest of 10th grade students of SMA N 1 Kedunggalar. The purpose of this research is to know the correlation between: (1) perception about teacher?s teaching variation to to the history learning interest; (2) the utilization of museums trinil to the history learning interest; (3) Perception about teacher?s teaching variation and the utilization of museums trinil to the history learning interest. This research used quantitative method with survey approach and descriptive analysis method. The samples of research are 51 students from 2 classes of SMAN 1 Kedunggalar. In taking of the samples used sample random sampling techniques from 221 students in population. The data were collected by using questionnaire in the form of likert scale. The techniques of data analysis were correlation and double analysis regression techniques. The research show that perception about teacher?s teaching variation and the history learning interest have positive and significant correlation. it is proved with the result of calculation ro > rt or 0,551 > 0,279 and the value of t > t table or 4,627 > 1,684. The utilization of museums trinil and the history learning interest have positive and significant correlation. it is proved with the result of calculation ro > rt or 0,558 > 0,279 and the value of t > t table or 4,708 >1,684. Perception about teacher?s teaching variation and the utilization of museums trinil with the history learning interest in together have positive and significant correlation. it is proved with the result of calculation ro > rt or 0,681 > 0,279 with the probability of 0,000 < 0,05. The significance of the F test with db = 2 opponents 48, the obtained Fht > Ft or 20.766> 3.19 and the regression Y = -2.367 + 0.530 X1 + 0.493 X2. Abstract

Thesis,Surakarta: Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Sebelas Maret, March 2017.   This research aims to enhance the activeness and student learning outcomes in learning history through the combination of cooperative model, type of Teams Games Tournament and Course Review Horay in the class of X IPS 1 SMA 2 Sukoharjo Academic Year 2016/2017.This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The experiment was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of the planning stage, action, observation and evaluation / reflection phase. The subjects were students of the class of X IPS 1 SMA Negeri 2 Sukoharjo as much as 35 people. The data source comes from teachers, students, and the learning process. Data collection techniques implemented through orbservations, tests, documentary studies and interviews. Data validity tested through resource triangulation method. Data analyzed using qualitative and quantitative data.The results showed that the activeness and student learning outcomes in the application of combination between cooperative model, type of Teams Games Tournament and Course Review Horay on the teaching of history run as achievement targeted which is 80% of student activeness and 75%.of student learning outcomes. Pre-action student activeness raised from 48,21% to 75,17% in the first cycle and increased to 81,96% in the second cycle. The completeness of student learning outcomes at the pre-action increased from 42,86% to 62,86% in the first cycle and successfully developed to 82,86% in the second cycle.Based on the results and discussion of this research, we can conclude that the combination of the cooperative model, type of Teams Games Tournament and Course Review Horay is able to enhance the activeness and student learning outcomes in the class of X IPS 1 SMA Negeri 2 Sukoharjo Academic Year 2016/2017.

Abstract

The  study about the military strategic of independence war during 1945-1949 in Yogyakarta, aims to determine: (1) The situation in Yogyakarta (2) The strategy used during independence war in Yogyakarta (3) The impact of the independence war in Yogyakarta(4) The relevance of this study related to the course of Historical Education program in FKIP UNS.The research used historical method. The historical method is the process of critically examining and analyze the recordings and relics of the past. The initial stage in the process of historical research is the collection of data or heuristics. The research data was collected in the form primary and secondary data related to military strategy in the Independece War in Yogyakarta in periode 1945-1949. After data collection is completed then perform analysis activities. The data analysis phase from verification or criticism interpretating historiographical translation begins.Based on these results we can conclude that: (1) The political situation during 1945-1949 in Yogyakarta acts as military government after the second Dutch military aggression which led The president and several minister were caught. In carrying out their duties, The military government collaborated with civil government.Every guerrilla military action by TNI personnel, Dutch response with the cleaning action that damage people. The security situation in Yogyakarta during 1945-1949, several clashes occur between the people of Indonesia by Japanese and Netherlands, in addition to the peaceful of people also disrupted by the cleaning action that was done by Netherlands.(2) In the time of  independence war  the TNI soldier used guerrilla strategy combined with citizenry stronghold against Netherlands. The principal analysis of this study are the formulation, assessment, and implementation of the strategy. (3) The impact of the independence war in Yogyakarta was affected the attitude of the international community towards Indonesia and Netherlands. The UN and the countries, which support RI, pressing Netherlands to release political prisoners and restore Yogyakarta under Indonesia government immediately. (4)  The relevance of military strategy in the independence war during1945-1949 in Yogyakarta is related to the course in Historical Education program in FKIP UNS which has compatibility to the material subject, citizenry and military freedom fighter of Indonesia, especially the endeavor in military field.

Abstract

The aim of this research are to find out: (1) the background of Chinese and Javanese cultural assimilation in Surakarta 1966-1998, (2) The process of Chinese and Javanese cultural assimilation in Surakarta 1966-1998, (3) The impact of Chinese and Javanese cultural assimilation after 1966-1998, (4) The relevance of the research result of Chinese-Surakarta ethnic assimilation in 1966-1998 for multicultural education.The method used in this research are qualitative research methods. The steps taken in this method including data collection, data reduction, data analysis, presentation of data, and conclusion.The result of this research are : (1) The background of Chinese and Javanese cultural assimilation are caused by internal factor and external factor. Internal factor include the condition of Chinese community in the middle of the Javanese majority and economic problem. The external factor are appeared because of the New Order government policy. (2) The process of Chinese and Javanese cultural assimilation are divided into two periods, Old Order period led by Soekarno and New Order period led by Soeharto. (3) The impact of Chinese and Javanese cultural assimilation are contained in performing art and celebration day that contains cultural combination between Chinese and Javanese culture. (4) The result of this research are relevant with education field. Particularly as additional teaching materials for multicultural education in high school education.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to describe : (1) History first of build Partai Demokrat and structure organization of Partai Demokrat at Rembang Regency. (2) Process and result of local elections 2005 at Rembang Regency. (3) Strategic of winning local elections 2005 at Rembang Regency. This researchs method is historical method with heuristic, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Source of data used in this research are primary sources and secondary sources. Collecting data by interview, observation and literature study. The data analysis technique used is the technique of historical analysis, by performing external and internal criticism. Based on these result it can be conclude : (1) History first of build Partai Demokrat and structure organization of Partai Demokrat at Rembang Regency are prepare for elections president and vice president 2004 in directly. Building of DPC Partai Demokrat at Rembang Regency while to local electing and it can be early change political system centralistic to be decentralistic. (2) Process and result of local elections 2005 at Rembang Regency are winning of company regent that be candidate by Partai Demokrat in the manner of 50 % voters. Because of combine between entrepreneur and religionist be a prime power to get support from Rembang Regency?s people. (3) Strategic of winning local elections 2005 at Rembang Regency are make a election group that prepare, result, and last result to local election. And coordinate in village level for more be collect an aspiration and necessaries of Rembang Regency?s people in common. In addition also make even programs that need and suitable of  Rembang Regency?s people.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is describe the types of the Vredeburg Fort Museum?s collection which can be applied as the source of History Learning material in SMA Negeri 10 Yogyakarta which is implemented in history learning and knowing obstacles of  history learning in SMA Negeri 10 Yogyakarta.  This research is a descriptive qualitative research, which is a technique to analyze phenomena by creating descriptive data. The data source that used were place, event, informant, and document. The techniques of collecting data used in the research were observation, interview, and document analysis. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data validation techniques that used were source and method triangulation. The cata were analyzed by using interactive analysis technique which is a technique of analysis combining three components, such as data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusion.Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that (1) Historical things can be integrated in the learning process. It is because those things are related to historical events in the past. This can strengthen student?s ability in remembering Historical events, (2) the use of Museum as the source of History learning material in SMA Negeri 10 Yogyakarta had some alternatives in the implementation. If it is necessary, the teacher may invite the students to visit the museum. If it is not, the teacher still has another media to be taught to the students, (3) the implementation divided into several stages. The teacher used discussion and homework in the learning process. This is because the methods have an advantages in terms of learning time allocation, and (4) The teacher had no obstacles in choosing a learning method so far. If this happens in the future, the role of the teacher is very important.

Abstract

The objective of research was to find out: (1) the background of landrente implementation and the implementation of landrente in East Indies by Raffless in 1811-1816, (2) the implementation of landrente in Madiun in 1811-1816, (3) the effect of landrente on land mastery in Mangunharjo Subdistrict of Madiun in 1860-1870, (4) the effect of landrente on land use in Mangunharjo Subdistrict, Madiun in 1860-1870.This study employed a historical research form, an undertaking to study and to explore the facts and to drawn a conclusion concerning the past events. In this research, source analysis technique was used with historical research method. The source employed included primary sources encompassing archive and document in the period of landrente enactment, and secondary sources encompassing books, article, and interview related to landrente particularly in Madiun.Considering the result of research, it could be concluded that: (1) land rent (landrente) system in Madiun had started to be enacted during Raffles reign in 1811-1816 in, among others, Mangungharjo Subdistrict, Madiun City, (2) the application of landrente affected the land mastery and land use by the society, (3) the society land mastery changed from individual land ownership into communally land ownership (land communalization) pattern, while the society land used changed from agricultural purpose with rice as main commodity into sugarcane land opening. Keywords: landrente, landrente in Madiun.

Abstract

This research is aimed to improve the students? activeness and historical awareness of the class XI IPS 1 of SMA Negeri 3 by implementing Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) cooperative learning Method using question card.This is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was carried out by two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subject of this research is the 22 students of the class XI IPS 1 of SMA Negeri 3 Surakarta. The data were collected from the teacher, students, and learning process. The data were collected by test, observation, interview, documentation, and questionnaire. The data were analyzed by using interactive model which consists of some steps: reducing data, presenting data, and making conclusion or verification.The result of this research showed that the learning process was done well. In the pre-research, the percentage of the activity accomplishment was 78.14%, increased to 87.51% in the 1st cycle, and increased to 94.77% in the 2nd cycle. The students? activeness in the pre-research was 71.51%, increased to 77.87% in the 1st cycle, and increased to 85.30% in the 2nd cycle. The students? historical awareness was 77.63% in the pre-research, increased to 78.84% in the 1st cycle, and increased to 81.30% in the 2nd cycle.Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that teaching history using Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) cooperative learning Method which uses question card is able to improve the students? activeness and historical awareness of the class XI IPS 1 of SMA Negeri 3 Surakarta.

Abstract

This article aim to explain some light on liberal Islamic movements in Indonesia, with specific reference to the Liberal Islam Network (JIL). The background formation of Liberal Islam Network is the strengthening influence of orientalists in Islamic studies and the rise of fundamentalist Islamic groups that tend to be radical in overcome the problem post new order. Liberal Islam Network which initiated Ulil Abshar Abdalla and active on March 8, 2001. Liberal Islamic thought are reflected in several important agenda of JIL, which include: the political agenda (secularism), religious pluralism, emancipation of women, freedom of opinion and freedom of expression. Liberal Islamic thought development strategies implemented with financial assistance of The Asia Foundation through study and discussion forums, print media such as Gatra, Tempo, Jawa Pos to electronic media (radio news agency 68H) and internet with the official website www.islamlib.com. The effect of Liberal Islam Network in Indonesia is a confirmation of theology the secular state idea and religious pluralism. The aims of Liberal Islam Network to promote the ideals of civil society (freedom of civil society), the development would have a response and critique of various parties.

Abstract

The purpose of this research were to describe: (1) the background of the establishment of Ulama Council of Indonesia; (2) the role and position of Ulama Council of Indonesia; (3)  the role of Ulama Council in established the Islamic discource in Indonesian New Order 1975-1998; (4) the role of Ulama Council in established the Islamic discource in Indonesias New Order 1975-1998 and its relevance in historical learning at class XII of senior high school.This research used historical method, there are four phases of research procedure, and they are heuristics, critics, interpretations, and historiography. Technique of analyzing the data used historical analysis, give priority to criticsm sharpness and data interpretation. The source of this research used primary resource and secondary resource.The result of this research are: (1) MUI was established by New Order government to muffle the conflict and to create a harmony and cooperations among Muslims and government (2) MUI developed a mainstream religious discources with their authority to created fatawas (3) Reviewing MUI?s history in Indonesias  New Order and it?s fatawas about religious sect which can be used as relevant  course to look for new paradigm to create a harmony in Indonesian plural society.
