Abstract

The objectives of the research are: (1) to determine the relationship between the understanding of national history of Indonesia with the attitude of country defense;(2) to determine the relationship between theheroism values with theattitude of country defense; (3) to determine the relationship between the understanding of national history of Indonesia and heroism values with the attitude of country defense.This research is quantitative descriptive research by drawing conclusions through statistical analysis. The population in this study was all students of class XII IPASMA Muhammadiyah 1 Karanganyar in the academic year of 2016/2017. 134 studentswere taken as the sample by using simple random sampling technique. The data were obtained through a test and questionnaires. The questionnaires were tested firstto know the validity and the reliability of the test. The data analysis technique used in this researchwas multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, F, R2 test, and the relative contribution and effective contribution.The conclusions of the research were as: (1) there waspositive and significantrelationship betweenthe understanding of national history of Indonesia with the attitude of country defense. This result based on the multiple linear regression analysis (t test) noted that tcount> ttable, 2.949 >1.978 and significance value 0.004 <0.05 withrelative contribution 27.669% and effective contribution 5.09%;(2) there was positive and significant relationship between heroism values with the attitude of country defense. This result based on the multiple linear regression analysis (t test) noted that tcount>ttable, 4.686 >1.978 and significance value0.000<0.05 with the relative contribution 72.363% and the effective contribution  13.31%; (3) there was positive and significant understanding of national history of Indonesia and heroism values with the attitude of country defense. This result based on the linear regression analysis (F test) was known that Fcount > Ftable, 14.812 >3.07 and significance value0.000 <0.05. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.184. It indicated that the magnitude of the relationship between the understanding of national history of Indonesia and heroism values with the attitude of country defense in class XII IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Karanganyarin the academic year 2016/2017 was 18.4%, while the rest was influenced by other variables.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve the understanding of historical values and student learning outcomes of class X IIS 2 SMAN 1 Gemolong academic year 2014/2015 through the application of CTL model with Sangiran Site Media.This reasearch is classroom action research (CAR). The experiement was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subjects were students, teacher, and the teacher and learning in class X IIS 2 SMAN 1 Gemolong. Data and data sources come from students, teacher, and the learning process. Techniques of data collection is by interview, observation, questionaires, and tests. Test validity of data using the technique of triangulation method. Data analysis using comparative descriptive techniques. Research procedure is the spiral model.The result showed that; (1) the application of CTL model with Sangiran Site media can improve understanding of historical values student class X IIS 2 SMAN 1 Gemolong academic year 2014/2015. It can be seen from the result of the percentage of achievement indicators in the questionnaire understanding of historical values. In the first cycle the average achievement is 83,28 % and in the second cycle increased to 88,78 % of this acquistion has exceeded the target of 75 %; (2) the application of CTL model with Sangiran Site media can improve student learning outcomes. It can be seen from the mastery of cognitive test score, the student who complete the first cycle as much as 56,25 % and in the second cycle be 78,125 %, this result has exceeded the target of 75 %.The conclusion of this research is the application of CTL model with Sangiran Site media can improve understanding of historical values and student learning outcomes class X IIS 2 SMAN 1 Gemolong academic year 2014/2015 Keywords: CTL model, Sangiran Site media, historical values, learning outcomes

Abstract

ABSTRACK This study aimed to describe: (1) Background ethnic Kurdish separatist movement in the country of Turkey; (2) Ethnic Kurdish separatist movements in the country of Turkey; and (3) The Impact and the Turkish government's efforts in addressing the tribal Kurdish separatist movement. This study uses historical method with heuristic measures, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The data collection technique is the technique of literature by using the system catalogs or computers and resume use of the Internet. The data analysis technique used is the historical analysis technique with external and internal criticism. The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, the Kurdish separatist movement in Turkey for autonomy began March 21, 1984, when the ban celebrations Nevros (Kurdish new year celebration). Second, the Kurdish separatist movement in Turkey gathered in the PKK. Third, the Turkish government policy on reducing negative sanctions against the PKK in the field of socio-cultural, economic, and law can not resolve the conflict between the government and ethnic Kurds. Abstract

The aims of this research are to improve the students? social skills and historical learning achievement through aplicating numbered head together (NHT) cooperative learning model by using question-card media in historical learning.This research used Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which was implemented in two cycles. Every cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subject of this is class X IPS 3 SMA N 1 Ngemplak which consists of 33 students. The data collection techniques of this research use observation, interview, questionnaire, test, and documentation. Test validity of data using triangulation techniques which are data and method triangulation. The data analysis used are comparative descriptive analysis model and interactive analysis model.  The results of this study show that; 1) The implementation of Numbered Heads Together cooperative learning model by using question-card can increase the students? social skills in class X IPS 3 SMA N 1 Ngemplak. This is indicated by the increasing percentages of the number of students? social skills with a high category in the pre cycle, which is 21,21%. In the first cycle, then increased to 51,52% and 81,82% in second cycle. In the percentages result, the students? number who have high social skills and the average percentage of social skills indicators have exceeded the target ?80%; 2) The implementation of Numbered Heads Together cooperative learning model by using question-card can improve the learning achievement of students class X IPS 3 SMA N 1 Ngemplak. This shows the increased percentage of students? learning mastery in each cycle. At pre cycle, percentage of the number of students who can reach the limit of the value of learning domination (KKM 75) is 54,55%. In the first cycle, percentage of the number of students who can reach the limit of the value of learning domination increased to 60,70% and 93,94% in the second cycle. The acquisition percentage of students? learning achievement completeness passed the target which is ?80%.

Abstract

This research is aimed at to know: (1) genealogy biography of Abdurrahman Wahid; (2) intellectual abroad of Abdurrahman Wahid when he was teenager; and (3) Abdurrahman Wahid?s thought in the context of diversity of Indonesia and the relation of religion and state.The method that is used in this research is phenomenology qualitative method. The steps done in this research covers: collecting data, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion. The sources of the research are interview and document. The techniques of collecting data in this research are literature review and interview. The validity of the data is done by data source triangulation. The technique of analyzing data is interactive technique, by reducing and displaying data while collecting data. The data in the form of field note is the data that has been dig and noted. The field notes then become systematic and logic data display based on the problem statements. The collecting data process that has been done, then the researcher arranges the discussion and draws the conclusion. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that: (1) Abdurrahman Wahid is one of prominent figure of Indonesia has to be descendant of aristocrat of Hasyim Asy?ari who was founder of Tebuireng Muslim Boarding School and founder of Nahdlatul Ulama, so that Abdurrahman Wahid gets the important position in the society; (2) Abdurrahman Wahid has education and social intercourse experience that makes he has liberal, moderate, and progressive thought; (3) there is mutual symbiotic correlation between religion and state, both working together in the community, nation and religion protects religious life even guiding life in the country. Symbiotic relation of religion and state in Indonesia is stated in Pancasila, Indonesian Constitutional Law 1945, and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika slogan. Pancasila and the Constitution of 1945 is the final form of the best. Pancasila and the Constitution of 1945 into a platform capable of shelters a diversity of the Indonesian community. Abdurrahman Wahid?s thought about relation between religion and state based on fiqh perspective by adapting the condition of Indonesian social-cultural. The material about Abdurrahman Wahid can be inserted in History subject grade 12st Social in the material of the government system that have ever existed in Indonesia, starting from Old Order, New Order Government, until Reformation. The teacher should not only teach about the characteristics of government, how the running of the government is, the plus and minus of the government system, but also tell about the model of the figures that had ever been the leader in that government system. For example is Abdurrahman Wahid. We can take his positive behavior that shown up until now as a learning and good model. Those behaviors are democratic, anti-discrimination, and respect about pluralism.

Abstract

The main objectives of this study are to improve students? cooperation and learning outcomes of class XI IPA 1 SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Karanganyar through the implementation of cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together by using video as media in history subject. Classroom action research was applied in this study through two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The sample of this study was 39 students of class XI IPA 1 SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Karanganyar. Sources of data used in this study were informants, places or locations, events and documents. Technique of collecting data was done by observation, questionnaire, test, interview and documentation. Triangulation was used to validate the data. The data were analyzed by using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. This study uses spiral model (planning, action, observation and reflection) by Kemmis and Mc. Taggar model.The results of research show that students? cooperation increased in each cycle, in the pre-cycle stage there were 22 students having high cooperation with 56.41%. In the first cycle, students having high-cooperation category increased up to 27 students with percentage of 69.23%. In cycle two, students having high cooperation increased up to 33 students with percentage of 84.62%. Student learning outcomes also increased. In pre-cycle stage, the number of students who passed the passing grade were 10 students with the percentage of 25.64%. Then in first cycle, the number of students who get the above the passing grade were 21 students with 53.85% percentage. In cycle two, the number of students who passed the passing grade were 34 students or 87.18%. The acquisition is the goal that determined to exceed that 80%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study were to describe: (1) a history of Danudirja Setiabudi, (2) the politics and education alstruggle of Danudirj aSetiabudi in the Dutch East Indies, (3) the effect of Setiabudi Danudirja struggle against the colonial government and Indieseducational policy, (4) the relevance of Danudirja Setiabudi seducational thought in 1912-1942 at Dutch East Indies towards material of historical learning at class XI Senior High School.In accordance with that objectives, this research used the historical method. This research took place in Monument Press, Rekso Pustaka Library Surakarta. Data were collected through literature study and analysis of primary sources such as books by Danudirja Setiabudi, newspapers and etc. Data analysis techniques in this research using historical analysis that is technical analysis emphasis on sharpness in the interpretation of historical data.Based on the results can be concluded: (1) Danudirja Setibudi born of the couple Auguste Henri Edouard Douwes Dekker, a Dutchman and his mother Louisa Margaretha Neumann.  This shows Danudirja Setiabudi are descendants of Indonesian or mixture included in group Indies. Danudirja Setiabudi as anIndis get a better education than the indigenous people. (2) Danudirja Setiabudi see gaps arise in him the desire transform and express his desire. The path chosen is journalism. Through newspapers Danudirja Setiabudi try express an opinion on the colonial government. Besides journalism Danudirja Setiabudi establish political parties with Ki Hajar Dewantoro and Tcipto Mangun Kusumo named Indische Partij. After this political field failed Danudirja Setiabudi continue his struggle in education by establishing Ksatrian Instituut School in Bandung. (3) As a result of the Setiabudi Danudirja struggle weremake the colonial government get a new provision that all organizations deemed not cooperative with the Dutch government then did not get the recognition of legal entities from the colonial government. His struggle in education give new color for education in the Dutch East Indies, where the school is formed Danudirja Setiabudi embed understand love of country which raised the understanding of nationalism in Ksatrian Instituut students. (4) Setiabudi Danudirja thinking in the field of education is still relevant to this day. Nasioanlisme is understood love of the homeland and a willing to sacrifice for the nation of Indonesia. It is closely related to classroom learning materials at class XI of Senior High School about the national movement.

Abstract

Pendidikan di Indonesia tidak hanya berpatok pada keberhasilan hasil nilai berupa angka, pendidikan internal yang menyusupkan nilai-nilai dalam kehidupan sangat dibutuhkan. Peran keluarga, keteladanan tokoh dan peran pendidikan merupakan bagian dalam pembentukan karakter individu. Bila ditilik ke belakang pejuang wanita di Jawa Tengah sendiri memiliki keteladanan karakter bangsa yang dapat ditransformasikan kepada generasi penerus. Proses transformasi nilai keteladanan dari pejuang wanita di Jawa Tengah dapat dilihat dari ketokohan Ratu Sima yang dikisahkan penguasa kerajaan Ho-Ling yang berpusat di Kalingga sebelah utara Gunung Muria berkarakter sangat kuat dalam kebijaksanaan dan penerapan hukum pada masa kekuasaannya memerintah kerajaan Ho-Ling. Kemudian Ratu Kalinyamat yang mengorbankan dirinya bertapa melanjutkan perjuangan suaminya seorang Bupati dari Demak berjuang melawan penjajahan Belanda. Raden Ajeng Kartini sebagai tokoh emansipasi wanita yang dengan sepenuh jiwa mengusahakan pendidikan untuk kaum perempuan. Pejuang-pejuang wanita berasal dari Jawa Tengah ini menginspirasi pembentukan karakter-karakter positif bangsa terutama bagi generasi penerus bangsa yang tegas, adil, bijaksana, dan berkemauan keras. Melalui pembelajaran IPS atau pembelajaran sejarah karakter-karakter positif dapat diterapkan untuk pembentukan keteladanan generasi penerus bangsa yang sadar akan identitas dan jati diri bangsa.Kata Kunci: Pahlawan wanita, Ketokohan, dan Karakter

Abstract

The purpose of this research are: 1) to determine the effect comprehension of national movement history with nationality concept in class XI IPS SMA Batik 1 Surakarta, 2) to determine the effect attitude of nationalism with nationality concept in class XI IPS SMA Batik 1 Surakarta, 3) to determine the effect comprehension of national movement history and attitude of nationalism with nationality concept in class XI IPS SMA Batik 1 Surakarta.This research is descriptive quantitative by draw conclusion through statistical analysis. The population of research were all student of class XI IPS SMA Batik 1 surakarta. The sample consisted of 125 students taken using simple randong sampling technique. The data need was obtained through test and questionare. The test and questionare was tried out first and tasted for its validity and reliability. The tecnique of analizing data used was a multiple linear regresion analysis, F-, t-, R2-test, and relative and effective contribution.The conclusion of this study were: 1) There is a significant and positive effect comprehension of nationality movement history with nationality concept in class XI IPS SMA Batik 1 Surakarta. This is based on multiple linear regresion analysis (t test) showing that tstatistic>ttable, 2.069>1.657 and the significance value 0.041<0.05 with the relative contribution of 8.93% and effective contribution of 3.46%. 2) There is a significant and positive effect attitude of nationalism with nationality concept in class XI IPS SMA Batik 1 Surakarta. This is based on multiple linear regresion analysis (t test) showing that tstatistic>ttable, 8.137>1.657 and significance value 0.000<0.05 with relative contribution 91.11% and effective contribution of 35.26%. 3) There is a positive and significant effect comprehension of national movement history and attitude of nationalism along with nationality concept in class XI IPS SMA Batik 1 Surakarta. This is based on linear regresiona analysis (F test) known that Fstatistic>Ftable, is 38.504>3.070 and significance value 0.000<0.05. The coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.387 indicate that comprehension of national movement history and attitude of nationalism with nationality concept in class XI IPS SMA Batik 1 Surakarta year 2015/2016 affected 38.75, while the rest was affected by other variables.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know: (1) Rationale of Economic Democracy Mohammad Hatta, (2) Thought Muhammad Hatta on social economy. (3) The relevance of thought Muhammad Hatta in the Indonesian economy.This research used the Historical research or historical method. Data source in this study are used primary sources and secondary sources. Historical method is Heuristic process, Criticism, Interpretation, Historiography reconstructed based on the data obtained so as to produce events or Historical Facts.Based on this research can be concluded: (1) Rationale of democratic economy Mohammad Hatta, his biography that tells Hatta?s life began as a child, studied in the Netherlands, fought for independence of Indonesian, until he died in 1980. Then, when Hatta as an economist. Mohammad Hatta is a pioneer or rationale of economy that democracy based, the concept is the first foundation in building the economy in Indonesia. (2) Thought for Economic Democracy Mohammad Hatta , Hatta choose cooperation as a way out of the Indonesian nation out of economic problems faced during this . Hatta said that the cooperative consists of two joints , the joints of solidarity and joint individualist . While the rest of cooperatives are people, not money and cooperatives are not looking for maximum profit , but to serve the needs of joint and container participation of small-scale economic actors . Hatta argue with the spirit of togetherness and family as well as cooperation in the cooperative can deliver the Indonesian nation to achieve the goals and ideals of development. (3) The relevance of thought Mohammad Hatta in the Economic and Social part, as well as the relevance of Hatta?s thought with economical that occurred in Indonesia at this time.
