Abstract

This research was Quasi Experimental Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The participant were fifth grade students  of Elementary school in Wonogiri, the conferral of sample using purposive random sampling. Based on data analysis between the experimental group and the control group can be seen that the group guidance services through work type role play effectively improve students career understanding. This evident is from t count 7.148 > t table 2.086 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. Thus, this hypothesis is accepted, which means there is a significant difference in career understanding between experimental and the control group.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine effectiveness of the implementation of the cooperation game techniques in group counseling to improve students?emotional intelegent. This research was conducted on the basis that in Junior High School in Karanganyar.  This research was quasy-experimental design. The subjects were students who have low emotional intelligence, ie students who earn below the mean pretest scores. Analysis using t-test statistical formula. The analysis showed a p values 0.000, which means that there is a difference between the experimental group who had been given a treatment with a control group who did not receive treatments. It shows that the game under the guidance of the group effective cooperation to improve the emotional intelligence of students.

Abstract

This is a descriptive quantitative research. The samples of this research were 150 students at VII grade Junior high school. The data collecting technique that was used by the researcher was One Tail t-Test and regression test. The  result  of  this  research  shown  that:  (1)  The  level  of  the  students? learning motivation was considered as high, (2) The learning facilities comprehensiveness at the students? home is high, (3)  The  contribution  of  the  students?  learning  facilities  comprehensiveness  at home towards their learning motivation is 10,4%.

Abstract

The aims of the research was to determine the effectiveness of game simulation used snakes and ladders media to fostering elementary students? interpersonal relationships. This was Guidance and Counseling Action Research with the subject of research were five students of fifth grade, who have difficulty for interlacing interpersonal relationships. Preliminary studies and collecting data use interviews and observation instruments. The study was conducted in three cycles of action. The data result of research were obtained from the observation during game activities happen use observation sheet and interview. Researchers gives a pretest and posttest using the observation sheet and students are given guidance group technique of game simulation media snakes and ladders. The validity of the data was gained through data, method and theory triangulation technic. The analysis of data use the percentage analysis and then committed clinical analysis. The results of research showed that group guidance group technique of game simulation media snakes and ladders is able to improve interpersonal relationships of fifth grade students in Elementary School. The statement is evidenced by an increase in the average yield percentage of students interpersonal relationships for each cycle , the first cycle is 32.3% , the second cycle is 45.55% and the third cycle is 86,17%.

Abstract

This research was Quasi Experimental Design. The subject of this research werethe students of eighth grade of Junior High School who have low emotional intelligence. Those subject got by the value of Q1 and divided into two groups, control group and experiment group which each group composed of 31 students which choosen proportinately according to pretest score. The result of the research show the result of T-count 3,141 with p vale 0,03. So, it can be concluded that there were significant difference between experiment group that accept role playing treatment, with control group that don?t accept role playing treatment.

Abstract

This research was an experimental research design used The Nonequivalent Pretest Posttest Design. The provision of group guidance service with game techniques held in eight meetings. The population is the first year of Junior high school student. Data analysis   result of F-test the control group and the experimental group showed that F count > F table (55.539>3.92) and F-test on the results of pretest and post-test showed F count > F table (21.110>3.92). Thus, Ho rejected and Ha accepted so the treatments of the experimental group in this research cause the improvement of student emotional stability.

Abstract

The research was guidance and counseling action research with two cycles. Each cycle consist of planning, action, observation, analysis and reflection. The subject were fifteen students. This  study  used  quantitative  analysis  and  clinical analysis. The results showed that pretest score of 61.60, in the first cycle increased to 75.26 (22.01%) and a significant increase, then in the second cycle increased to 94.47 (53.31%). Based on the results of testing the hypothesis, it is known that there is an increase in emotional stability before and after the treatment was given in the form of psychodrama. It shows that psychodrama is effective for improving participant?s emotional stability.
