Abstract

Student management is an important aspect in educational institutions because it aims to regulate student activities to support the learning process. In the world of Islamic boarding schools, student management needs to be carried out so that students do not only have good morals, but also have proud achievements. This study aims to determine the student management process carried out at the Ora Aji Islamic boarding school in order to improve student achievement. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Research data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation then analyzed with descriptive techniques. The results of the study showed that the management of students carried out at the Ora Aji Islamic boarding school included: acceptance of students, class division, coaching, evaluation and monitoring. With the management of students, students are proven to be able to achieve by winning several competitions that are participated outside the boarding school.

Abstract

The "One Day One Ayat" method is suitable for children in early childhood education (PAUD), kindergarten (TK), and elementary school (SD), especially for beginners in memorizing the Quran. With this method, children find it easier and faster to memorize the Quran, experiencing enjoyment rather than feeling burdened. They do not face difficulties in memorization since they only need to memorize one verse per day. This research adopts a quantitative approach using the correlational method, which aims to identify the relationship between variables. The sampling technique involves the use of questionnaires and tests, with the population consisting of 40 students at SDIT Insan Ulul Albaab Perum Villa Balaraja Desa Saga. The results indicate a correlation between the "One Day One Ayat" method and the ability to memorize the Quran.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the position of an educator (teacher) in Islam with a case study at Madrasah Aliyah Sheikh Yusuf Sungguminasa, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach to investigate the role of teachers from an Islamic perspective. The results showed that: (1) Madrasah Aliyah Sheikh Yusuf Sungguminasa Gowa Regency teachers are aware of their position in Islam as a source of scientific and spiritual guidance for students; (2) the role of teachers has a significant influence on the quality of education, because Islamic teachings encourage good performance when teachers view their duties as a noble profession; (3) Society respects teachers, with mastery of the four main competencies of pedagogical, social, professional, and personality being the main elements that influence their position. This study shows that educators can improve education standards and have a recognized status in society if they view their duties and competencies from an Islamic perspective.

Abstract

This research discusses the Measurement of Teacher Competence, which aims to: 1) knowing the competencies that must be possessed by teachers; 2) knowing how to measure teacher competence; 3) knowing the role of teacher competence in the teaching and learning process. The research method used is the type of library research. The data sources used as research materials are books, journals, and websites that are relevant to the chosen topic. Documentation, especially the search for records, books, papers, articles, journals, and other similar sources as research variables, is a method used to collect data. The results show that to be a good teacher there are 4 competencies that must be possessed, namely pedagogical competence, personality competence, professional competence and social competence. The four competencies must be possessed by a teaching staff or teacher in order to perform their duties and authority optimally, where for PAI teachers there are 2 additional competencies, namely leadership competence and spiritual competence.

Abstract

In character education, students not only learn about theory and practice but students are invited to reach the cognitive aspect of "knowledge" and also touch the aspect of "behavior" by involving all aspects simultaneously and continuously. Teachers as role models are implementing discipline starting from themselves, which means that if the teacher behaves well, students will also imitate the good behavior of the teacher. Teachers must be able to set a good example to their students. The aim of this research is to determine the role, role models of teachers and factors in developing students' character. The method used is a qualitative research method, often called a naturalistic research method because the research is carried out in natural conditions (natural settings). This research uses a qualitative approach based on the phenomena that occur. The results of the research showed that not only talking but also doing deeds, because one example is better than a thousand words. If the teacher asks the child, he also needs to participate in it. The development of students' character is in the hands of teachers as educators and role models, because what teachers do is what students will imitate.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the duties and obligations of teachers as professional educators. Descriptive qualitative methodology was used with a field study at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Manggarupi Gowa South Sulawesi. The research findings show that MI Manggarupi teachers view themselves as agents of change who must constantly develop new teaching strategies and modify the curriculum to meet the needs of their students. To produce comprehensive learning experiences, this task requires active participation in professional growth, application of technology, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. Overall, our findings emphasize the importance of capable educators and leadership in improving teaching standards in educational institutions. The teaching personnel at MI Manggarupi use comprehensive teaching methods that integrate academic, moral and religious principles. Cooperation between educators and schools is crucial to improving teaching standards. Using a comprehensive approach, they collaborate to create lesson plans, incorporate various teaching modalities and modify the curriculum to meet students' needs.

Abstract

The role of teachers in education is very strategic, even other educational resources are often meaningless if not accompanied by adequate teacher quality. Professionally qualified teachers are those who know deeply about what they teach, are proficient in effective and efficient teaching methods and have a personality. Teachers must also have good work skills and high maturity of thinking, because the professional position of teacher is a strategic position in the life and development of society. This article discusses the implementation of teacher appreciation which aims to find out: knowing the understanding of the implementation of teacher appreciation at Qurthuba Islamic Elementary School Makassar and knowing the types of teacher appreciation at Qurthuba Islamic Elementary School Makassar. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research using an educational approach, the data source in this study is 1 Qur'an teacher. This research uses observation and interviews. The data analysis method uses data presentation and conclusion drawing or verification. To test the validity of the data using triangulation. the implementation of teacher awards at Qurthuba Islamic School Makassar is an award given for achieving the best teacher assessment criteria both from the results of teacher performance and the results of peer assessment. The awards given are cash and certificates

Abstract

Spiritual education is experiences that are carried out consciously to direct the soul to keep going according to its nature, namely to believe in Him and develop Divine potential until the culmination of faith in God, so that his soul can encourage physical activity or daily actions to always walk in accordance with Islamic law. Someone who lacks spiritual education is easier to do juvenile delinquency. Juvenile delinquency is an act of doing some of the teenagers that is contrary to the law, religion and norms of society so that the consequences can harm others, disrupt public tranquility and also damage themselves. So that parents are expected to provide religious education in their families, because the education that was first received by a child is education in the home. As parents, they must set a good example for their children, because children will imitate what they see and hear.

Abstract

The story of Prophet Yusuf As, the best story in the Qur'an or in the word of Allah called ahsanal Qashashi, is the best and most beautiful true story of all time. The example of Prophet Yusuf As through divine revelation to Prophet Muhammad SAW is not a made-up story. This research aims to find out the character education values contained in the story of Prophet Yusuf As which contains Islamic values in accordance with human nature for mental and spiritual education. Most people recognize the Prophet Yusuf As only because of his good looks and beauty but in fact the Prophet Yusuf As has more than that because he has beautiful and noble morals. Allah praised him as a person who always does good. Applying the noble morals possessed by the prophets is part of piety and devotion to Allah. The method used in this article is library research to understand and study theories from various literatures relevant to the research. Providing the necessary equipment, organizing time, and reading or recording research materials are the four stages of library study in research. The results of this study indicate the values contained in the story of Yusuf, which make learning for mankind in berakhul karimah, namely; The values of courtesy to elders, mutual openness and compassion for parents and siblings, patience and forgiveness, and the Prophet Yusuf is an intelligent (fathanah), trustworthy (amanah), honest (Siddiq), convey (tablig).

Abstract

There is an equal right between private and public schools to receive non-physical allocation funds, namely BOS funds. One of the BOS funds is intended for the cost of managing facilities and infrastructure such as the cost of minor repairs, rehabilitation and purchasing equipment that is not too expensive. The problem in this study is that not all educational institutions, both private and public, have the ability to manage their educational facilities and infrastructure. So that many infrastructure facilities that were initially lightly damaged are left to be severely damaged. This research is a field research that uses a qualitative approach. The research subjects in this study were the Head of Madrasarah, Waka Sarana Prasarana and Waka Kurikulum. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded in several things: first, MAN 1 Mojokerto succeeded in planning infrastructure facilities in accordance with the indicators that researchers appear, namely the needs, financing and prioritization of the three indicators MAN 1 Mojokerto made a strategic plan MAN 1 Mojokerto in improving the quality of education. Second, the procurement of infrastructure facilities in improving the quality of education MAN 1 Mojokerto has set the procurement of infrastructure facilities by means of maintenance, purchase and maintenance in accordance with the strategic plan and standards in place. Procurement of infrastructure facilities in improving quality at MAN 1 Mojokerto is in accordance with the indicators that researchers have come up with, namely determination, procurement sources and quality.
