Abstract

Abstract: Education provides the advancement of human thought so that their standard of living increases. In its development from age to age education transformed into a system. An educational system systematically arranged in the Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 20 of 2003 on the law of the national education system article 11 paragraph 1, which explains that education is implemented through three lines of formal, informal and informal education. These three educational paths are mutually related to each other and need to make the social changes that occur in the future. The existence of education as a factor of social change, the role of educators or teachers have a strategic role in realizing students to be ready in the face of expected social change. As expressed by Amanda Coffey (2001) that educators / teachers from day to day work for schools, as the key to implementation (implementation) of education policy. As the main social actor in education, educators have a responsibility in complementing the pedagogic practice as well as the transmission of knowledge and skills. They are also responsible for the management of the classroom. Educators occupy the leading position in policy and social change

Abstract

Quality education is the key to building competent and civilized learners in the sense of producing outputs that are in accordance with the needs of society. Education management is the responsibility of all parties within the scope of madrasah, one of which is the madrasah committee. But in reality, this is not in accordance with the reality that occurs today, the Madrasah Committee is only limited to being a complement to the Madrasah structure. This research was conducted at MA Madani Alauddin with the aim of researching the synergy of the committee with the madrasah in improving the quality of education at MA Madani Alauddin. The results of this study showed: (1) MA Madani Alauddin committee can be seen from the activeness, existence and implementation of all its roles; as a consideration giver, supporter, controller, and mediator (2) The quality of education in MA Madani Alauddin Makassar can be seen based on educational standards, namely input; content standards, process ; process standards and infrastructure standards, output; (3) The synergy of the committee with madrasah in improving the quality of education , it can be seen that there is coordination and communication that is established as well as cooperation in improving the quality of education (4) Supporting factors are, high cooperation and solidarity, cooperative relationships, communication and coordination that are in harmony, as well as achievements, outputs, good madrasah. The inhibiting factors are the lack of discipline from the madrasah management, supervision from the committee, and the busyness of the profession owned by the committee so that the lack of more intense meetings between the committee and the madrasah. The implications of this study are maximizing the implementation of various madrasah work programs, consistency in various madrasah activities that have been running, building a more programmed and intense association forum, participation of parents of students in various existing fields. ABSTRAKPendidikan bermutu merupakan kunci untuk membangun peserta didik yang kompeten dan beradab dalam arti menghasilkan output yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat. Pengelolaan pendidikan merupakan tanggung jawab semua pihak yang berada dalam lingkup madrasah salah satunya adalah komite madrasah. Namun pada kenyataannya, hal tersebut tidak sesuai dengan realita yang terjadi pada masa kini, Komite Madrasah hanya sebatas menjadi pelengkap struktur Madrasah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MA Madani Alauddin dengan tujuan penelitiannya sinergitas komite dengan madrasah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di MA Madani Alauddin. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: (1) komite MA Madani Alauddin dapat dilihat dari keaktifan, eksistensi dan pelaksanaan seluruh perannya; sebagai Pemberi pertimbangan, pendukung, Pengontrol, dan Mediator (2) Mutu Pendidikan yang ada di MA Madani Alauddin Makassar, dapat dilihat berdasarkan standar pendidikan yakni input; standar isi, proces; standar proses dan standar sarana prasarana, output; standar kompetensi lulusan dan outcome, yang berjalan dengan baik (3) sinergitas komite dengan madrasah dalam Meningkatkan mutu pendidikan, terlihat adanya koordinasi dan komunikasih yang terjalin serta Kerjasama dalam meningkatkan mutu Pendidikan (4) Faktor pendukung yaitu, Kerjasama dan solidaritas yang tinggi, Hubungan yang kooperatif, komunikasih dan koordinasi yang selaras, serta prestasi, keluaran, madrasah yang baik. Faktor penghambatnya yaitu kurangnya kedisiplinan dari pihak pengelola madrasah, pengawasan dari komite, dan kesibukan dari profesi yang dimiliki komite sehingga kurangnya pertemuan yang lebih intens antar komite dengan pihak madrasah. Implikasi dalam penelitian ini, memaksimalkan pelaksanaan berbagai program kerja madrasah, konsistensi dalam berbagai kegiatan madrasah yang telah berjalan, membangun forum perkumpulan yang lebih terprogram dan intens, keikut sertaan orang tua peserta didik diberbagai bidang yang ada.

Abstract

Stereotypes, prejudices, and discrimination frequently emerge in Islamic educational environments, posing obstacles to personal growth, social integration, and the development of students' tolerance towards individuals and groups from diverse cultural backgrounds. The objective of this study is to comprehend and analyze how Islamic education can cultivate awareness and tolerance amidst cultural diversity. Qualitative research methodology, employing a literature review approach, was utilized in this study. The findings indicate that inclusive Islamic education should acknowledge and embrace cultural diversity as a positive aspect of learning. An approach that fosters awareness and tolerance towards cultural diversity is necessary. Furthermore, efforts are required to prevent and address stereotypes, prejudices, and discrimination within the educational setting. This research makes a significant contribution to the advancement of more inclusive and equitable Islamic education programs. The study's outcomes offer relevant recommendations for decision-makers, educators, students, and society in general, emphasizing the importance of nurturing awareness and tolerance towards cultural diversity tophold social harmony and inclusivity

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the planning, implementation and challenges involved in improving the quality of administrative services at SMK Negeri 1 Sinjai. The research method used was qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research findings indicated that the planning of administration at SMK Negeri 1 Sinjai involved the formulation of tasks and functions of administrative services, goal setting, job evaluation, resource allocation, procurement of facilities and infrastructure, as well as problem-solving. The implementation of administration was conducted well, starting from planning, execution, management and supervision. Administrative activities included personnel administration, financial administration, data and information administration, facility and infrastructure administration, as well as correspondence and archiving. The challenges in improving service quality at SMK Negeri 1 Sinjai were identified as a lack of human resources in the administrative staff and network connectivity issues, which could hinder the service process at the school. The implications of this study are the functioning of the administration management system, improvement in the quality of school administrative services and the establishment of collaboration among administrators, educators and students in achieving these goals.

Abstract

Sumberdaya Manusia (SDM) dapat diartikan sebagai nilai dari perilaku seseorang dalam mempertanggungjawabkan semua perbuatannya, baik dalam kehidupan pribadi maupun dalam kehidupan berkeluarga, bermasyarakat dan berbangsa. Dengan demikian kualitas SDM ditentukan oleh sikap mental manusia. Sumber daya manusia mempunyai dua ciri, yaitu : (1) Ciri-ciri pribadi berupa pengetahuan, perasaan dan keterampilan. (2) Ciri-ciri interpersonal yaitu hubungan antar manusia dengan lingkungannya. Pendidikan merupakan instrumen penting yang sangat efektif untuk melakukan transformasi peradaban pada suatu masyarakat, karena pendidikan menyentuh aspek-aspek fundamental manusia, yaitu aspek kognitif (intelektual), aspek afektif (sikap mental dan penghayatan), dan aspek psikomotorik (skill). Dalam konteks evaluasi capaian hasil belajar, maka ketiga domain atau ranah itulah yang harus dijadikan sasaran dalam setiap kegiatan evaluasi hasil belajar. Khusus dibidang pendidikan yaitu tantangan dari luar (eksternal), yaitu berupa pertentangan dengan kebudayaan Barat abad ke-20 dan dari dalam (internal) Islam itu sendiri, berupa kejumudan produktivitas keislaman. Untuk menjawab tantangan dan menghadapi tuntutan pembangunan pada era globalisasi diisyaratkan dan diperlukan kesiapan dan lahirnya masyarakat modern Indonesia. Aspek yang spektakuler dalam masyarakat modern adalah penggantian teknik produksi dari cara tradisional ke cara modern yang disebut revolusi industri. Modernisasi masyarakat adalah penerapan pengetahuan ilmiah yang ada kepada semua aktivitas dan semua aspek kehidupan masyarakat bukan hanya aspek industri dan teknologi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relevance of Islamic philosophical thought in the study of Islamic education. This study uses a literature review methodology to explore the relevance of Islamic philosophical thought in the study of Islamic education. This method involves collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing data from a variety of scientific sources, including books, journal articles, and other academic publications related to Islamic philosophy and educational sciences. The selected literature is critically analyzed to uncover the relationships, patterns, and potential contributions of Islamic philosophy to educational theory and practice. In addition, this study uses a thematic analysis approach to categorize the findings and draw conclusions regarding the alignment between Islamic philosophical principles and the goals of Islamic education. The findings of this study are the urgency and function of Islamic education philosophy for educators and Islamic education thinkers. Education without being imbued with philosophy, the education will not be able to run well and perfectly, as well as will have difficulties in determining the expected direction and goals. The purpose of Islamic educational philosophy is essentially identical to the purpose of Islamic teachings. Both come from the same source, namely the Qur'an and al-Hadith. The philosophy of Islamic education has a role in two directions, namely the development of philosophical concepts of Islamic education will automatically produce new theories in Islamic education and the improvement and renewal of the implementation of Islamic education

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) Nilai spiritual dan Akhlak dalam kitab Tanwīr al-Qulūb (2) implementasi nilai spiritual dan Akhlak melalui pengajian kitab Tanwīr al-Qulūb pada Ma’had Aly As’adiyah Sengkang (3) dampak impelementasi nilai spiritual dan Akhlak dalam kitab Tanwīr al-Qulūb terhadap pendidik dan peserta didik pada Ma’had Aly As’adiyah Sengkang. Metode penelitian ini yaitu penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, dengan pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan fenomenologis. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Sumber data primer terdiri atas wawancara dengan informan, hasil observasi di lapangan serta dokumen-dokumen yang berkaitan dengan hasil penelitian, sedangkan sumber data sekunder terdiri atas sumber-sumber tertulis yang relevan dengan hasil penelitian. Adapun metode pe­ngumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, display data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sementara itu, uji keabsahan data yang digunakan adalah derajat kepercayaan (credibility). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: pertama, nilai spiritual dan akhlak dalam kitab Tanwīr al-Qulūb karangan Muhammad Amin al-Kurdi adalah tashfiyat al-qalb (pembersihan hati) dengan prinsip takhalli dan tahalli. Kedua, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada implementasi nilai spiritual dan akhlak pada Ma’had ‘Aly As’adiyah Sengkang melalui pengajian kitab Tanwīr al-Qulūb adalah para peserta didik (mahasantri) membiasakan untuk melakukan hal-hal yang positif baik masih berstatus sebagai mahasantri maupun setelah menjadi alumni Ma’had Aly As’adiyah. Beberapa hal yang dibiasakan mahasantri adalah tafaqqu fil al-qur’an, ikhlas, husnudzan, tawassul ilallah yang sejalan dengan dengan nilai spirtual dan akhlak yang termaktub dalam kitab Tanwīr al-Qulūb. Implikasi penelitian ini yakni kepada peneliti lainnya yang berkeinginan untuk meneliti dalam wilayah kajian yang sama, maka selanjutnya dapat mengembangkan nilai-nilai spiritual dan akhlak dari berbagai karya ulama yang dapat di implementasikan oleh pendidik kepada peserta didik sehingga tujuan pendidikan dapat tercapai.

Abstract

Islamic education is a crucial component of the education system, aiming to shape Muslim individuals who are both morally upright and knowledgeable. From a philosophical perspective, several factors influence the implementation of Islamic education and provide a strong philosophical foundation for its development. This study aims to identify the determinant factors of Islamic education within the framework of philosophy. This study is a library research, focusing on studies that discuss the determinant factors of Islamic education from a philosophical standpoint. The data for this study were obtained from research conducted and published in reference books as well as national and international journals. The findings indicate that the determining factors in Islamic education include educators, learners, educational objectives, educational tools, and the environment. This research provides a comprehensive understanding of the factors that influence Islamic education within the context of philosophy, as well as their relevance in shaping the character and personality of Muslims. The philosophical implications of these factors can assist educators, educational institutions, and policymakers in applying a holistic approach to designing an education system that not only focuses on academic aspects but also encompasses spiritual, moral, and social dimensions, in line with the vision of holistic Islamic education.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the position of an educator (teacher) in Islam with a case study at Madrasah Aliyah Sheikh Yusuf Sungguminasa, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach to investigate the role of teachers from an Islamic perspective. The results showed that: (1) Madrasah Aliyah Sheikh Yusuf Sungguminasa Gowa Regency teachers are aware of their position in Islam as a source of scientific and spiritual guidance for students; (2) the role of teachers has a significant influence on the quality of education, because Islamic teachings encourage good performance when teachers view their duties as a noble profession; (3) Society respects teachers, with mastery of the four main competencies of pedagogical, social, professional, and personality being the main elements that influence their position. This study shows that educators can improve education standards and have a recognized status in society if they view their duties and competencies from an Islamic perspective.

Abstract

This research discusses the Measurement of Teacher Competence, which aims to: 1) knowing the competencies that must be possessed by teachers; 2) knowing how to measure teacher competence; 3) knowing the role of teacher competence in the teaching and learning process. The research method used is the type of library research. The data sources used as research materials are books, journals, and websites that are relevant to the chosen topic. Documentation, especially the search for records, books, papers, articles, journals, and other similar sources as research variables, is a method used to collect data. The results show that to be a good teacher there are 4 competencies that must be possessed, namely pedagogical competence, personality competence, professional competence and social competence. The four competencies must be possessed by a teaching staff or teacher in order to perform their duties and authority optimally, where for PAI teachers there are 2 additional competencies, namely leadership competence and spiritual competence.
