Abstract

The company PT Bintang Lima Imada is a company engaged in the distribution of basic necessities. The company, PT Bintang Lima Imada, is located in the Citra Buana Center complex Blok e No. 8 Seraya Batam, Lubuk Baja District, Batam city. The company sells food products such as flag milk, syrup, bread and vitamins. The company has subsidiaries located in Tanjung Balai Karimun and Tanjung Pinang. A good company certainly has a good performance. In terms of employee performance, employees at PT Bintang Lima Imada have less than optimal performance because the company has not been able to achieve the set targets in the last six months. This is because leaders who pay less attention to the company's achievement so that the problem of achieving company targets is not optimal every month. At PT Bintang Lima Imada, there are employees whose work discipline is still lacking due to frequent delays and absenteeism at work, resulting in a lot of work being delayed. The population taken by the researchers were all employees at PT Bintang Lima Imada totaling 115 employees. The sample was selected through existing techniques, in this study using a saturated sample technique which means using all existing population sets. The sample in this study consisted of 115 respondents. The results show that there is a simultaneous and partial influence between leadership and work discipline variables on employee performance.

Abstract

Bumi Manusia is a film that tells the love story of two characters named Minke and Annelies. The film, which premiered on the big screen on August 15, 2019, was realized in a colonial land setting in the early 20th century. The purpose of this research is to find out the representation of cultural imperialism in the film Bumi Manusia. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with the technique of observation, documentation and literature study. The results of this study show that fashion as a representation of cultural imperialism in the film Bumi Manusia is influenced by two cultures, namely European and Japanese cultures. Eropean fashion style is represented in three types, namely, daily fashion, pajamas and wedding clothes. Japanese fashion style is represented in the use of Kimono. Japanese fashion style is not dominant in the film.

Abstract

The solvency ratio has a slightly related effect on the stock price, as the DER is greater than 1.67412 and has a significant value of 0.04 0.05. In addition, the f-test is 3.557> 3.17 and the significant value is 0.000 0.05, so the ratio of liquidity to solvency has a significant impact on stock prices. The t-value for the CR t-test is -0.799 1.674, and its significance level is 0.440 > 0.05. This demonstrates that the liquidity ratio has little effect on stock prices. The solvency ratio has a marginally significant impact on stock price, as evidenced by the DER value of 1.924>1.67412, which is based on a significant value of 0.04 0.05. At the same time, stock prices are significantly influenced by the liquidity to solvency ratio. The f-test results are 3.557> 3.17, a significant value of 0.000 0.05 that shows the liquidity ratio has no appreciable impact stock value

Abstract

Human resources are one of the factors in an organization. . Every organization has the mastery of developing and improving the work of its employees. To improve what has been determined, the organization needs monitoring and at the same time improving itsemployees so that they can apply discipline at work. Work discipline is a step taken by the company to ensure that the company can be achieved. Although there is no guarantee that the company's goals will be achieved, all efforts must still be made. The company's goals can be obtained and disciplinary regulations can be implemented, thus it is necessary to provide a motivation or in other words provide work motivation to employees. Improved performance of employees can be profitable for the company, because with high work results, the productivity of work on employees will also increase. The research method in this study is a quantitative method with a population of 110 people. And sampling using non-probability sampling technique. The results of the study obtained that work discipline and work motivation had a positive and significant influence on the performance of CV Sumber Cipta Agung employees with a determination coefficient of 52.8%.

Abstract

The research is to determine the effect of dividend policy, ROA, and ROE on firm value inIDX30 companies.the research in this study uses the independent variables, namelydividend olicy, ROA and ROE with the dependent variable being firm value. This researchwas conducted on IDX30 index companies that have been listed on the Indonesia StockExchange (IDX) with A period from 2019 to 2021. The research was conducted using apurposive sampling method, from the results of using these method can be 13 companiesthat have met the criteria. From the results of trials conducted with the results of the t test,it shows that the ROE has a Positive and significant effect on firm value with a significant tvalue of 0.000 < 0.05 and the dividen policy variable along with ROA has no positive andsignificant effect on firm value.

Abstract

Abstract

Law Number 7 of 1984 concerning the Ratification of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination and Violence against Women. The purpose of this research is to describe in the Strategy of the Office of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control and Family Planning in Preventing Violence against Women in Batam City and to analyze the inhibiting factors in the Strategy of the Office of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control and Family Planning in Preventing Violence against Women in Batam City the type of research method used is descriptive research method with a qualitative approach using interview, observation, and documentation data collection techniques. The data sources of this researcher consist of primary data and secondary data. The results showed that the Strategy of the Office of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control and Family Planning in Preventing Women's Violence in Batam City was good but needed to improve the performance required by victims of violence against women. Based on the conclusions and results of the study, researchers used indicators from LAN-RI which were based on five indicators used as follows: Input Indicator (Input), Output Indicator (Output), Outcome Indicator (Results), Benefit Indicator (Benefit) and Impact Indicator (Impact) namely improving existing facilities and infrastructure at the Office of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control and Family Planning in Preventing Violence against Women in Batam City, Violence against women is increasing with news and news reports, counseling and socialization in preventing violence against women in Batam. Batam City, received facilities in the form of spiritual support, mentoring, felt protected, and demanded their rights, and the positive impact of preventing violence against women made victims feel safe with the facilities provided by the service from psychologists and assistance.

Abstract

The spread of the corona virus is so fast almost to all corners of the world, including to Indonesia. Various kinds of policies carried out by the Indonesian government to ward off this virus, one of which is the vaccination policy. However, there are still many people who doubt this Covid 19 vaccine, especially the AstraZeneca vaccine. News about the side effects of the AstraZeneca vaccine was also published in online media Kompas.com and Detik.com. To see how the construction of side effect reporting in the two online media requires framing analysis to find out how the perspective used by the media in selecting issues and writing news. The purpose of this study was to find out how the two online media Kompas.com and Detik.com build a news story on the case of reporting on the side effects of the Astrazeneca vaccine. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research, using the framing analysis method of Robert N.Entman. The results of this study show that Kompas.com and Detik.com have similarities that the side effects of the AstraZeneca vaccine are mild. Keywords: Astrazeneca Vaccine, Media Online, Robert N. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of motivation and work stress on employee performance during the covid-19 pandemic at PT. Sinar Cendana Batam City. Employees are the main factor to determine whether a company fails or succeeds in achieving its planned goals. Therefore, the performance of each employee needs to be considered by each leader, because reduced employee performance will have an impact on company performance. This type of research is quantity with a population of employees of PT. Sinar Cendana Batam City as many as 100 respondents. Statements are given using a questionnaire with census techniques, with data analysis techniques Classical assumption test and hypothesis testing. The results showed that work motivation had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, job stress had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. So it can be concluded that between the two variables studied, it has a positive and significant effect on employee performance

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the relationship of communication, work discipline and work supervision on the performance of employees of PT Doellken Bintan Batam. The research method used in quantitative research and data collection is done by using a questionnaire on a liquid scale. The samples used in this study were employees of PT Doellken Bintan with a total of 105 people. The results of the research show that partially communication has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work discipline has a positive and significant influence on employee performance and work supervision has a positive and significant impact on employee performance of PT Doellken Bintan. Simultaneously, it was obtained that communication, work discipline and work supervision had a significant effect on the performance of PT Doellken Bintan employees. Based on the results of research conducted by researchers, suggestions that can be given to PT Doellken Bintan are the need for increased communication by all employees of PT Doellken Bintan both superiors, subordinates or co-workers, there is a need for increased supervision carried out by management to employees and the need for role models that must be given by the leadership to employees so that they can improve employee performance
