Abstract

The digitalization era significantly influences human life, such as lifestyle and physical activity. Human life change happens because of the ease of access provided by digitalization to purchase goods from home. This matter becomes the predictor of waist circumference and body mass index increase with obesity risks. Larger waist circumference influences the increased intra-abdominal fat accumulation. This fat accumulation leads to obesity and hypertension. This research aims to determine the correlation between waist circumference and blood pressure of people aged from 25 to 60 years old in Palur village, CA III. This cross-sectional research used chi square data analysis. The results showed that 51 people out of 100 had a larger waist circumference than 90cm suffering from hypertension.

Abstract

The United Nations' annual report states that the projection of the elderly population continues to increase. The projected population age is a crucial indicator in the ageing process. People who enter the ageing phase experience soft tissue pain and musculoskeletal disorders at a rate of 95%. However, sexual activity can reduce physiological and psychological disorders through the hormonal system. So these events are included in the sustainable development agenda. Research objectives : The purpose of this research is to analyze the effects of sexual activity on musculoskeletal disorders. Methodology : This study uses a bibliometric method by adopting a chart mapping of preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analysis. Research data obtained from search engines must be published or perish. Analysis of metadata text function using VOSviewer. Result : The publication of 64 articles in the last five years was dominated by Scopus compared to PubMed. The research topic updates include sexual sphere characteristics and health care needs. Descriptively, the metadata states that sexual activity in the elderly influences musculoskeletal disorders. Conclusion : However, sexual activity is carried out in a broad sense. This study only analyzes the patterns displayed by VOSviewer with a systematic review. Research conducted without confirming whether it uses a qualitative or quantitative approach.

Abstract

Background: Pneumonia is an infectious lung disease that can affect anyone, such as children, adolescents, young adults, and the elderly. One of the appropriate treatments to overcome the problem of pneumonia is physiotherapy using Chest Physiotherapy and Thoracic Expansion Exercises (TEE). Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of chest physiotherapy and thoracic expansion exercise in pneumonia patients Method and Materials: In this study, a literature review was used to obtain information regarding the effect of Chest Physiotherapy and Thoracic Expansion Exercise (TEE) on patients with pneumonia. A thorough study was conducted on 2 topics: (1) Pneumonia (2) Chest physiotherapy and Thoracic Expansion Exercise (TEE) pneumonia. The inclusion criteria were (1) the sample was a patient suffering from pneumonia (2) in a pneumonia patient the therapeutic modalities were chest physiotherapy and Thoracic Expansion Exercise (TEE). Effective search was deliberately limited to English, with interesting studies in pneumonia patients and published in the last 9 years. Literature research was conducted on the PubMed and Google Scholar electronic databases, for the period between January 2013 and January 2022. Result: Meta-analysis of 3 articles showed that after the intervention, the P value was very significant. Conclusion: The provision of physiotherapy interventions in the form of Chest Physiotherapy and Thoracic Expansion Exercise (TEE), can have a significant effect on pneumonia patients.

Abstract

Background: Spasticity is the most familiar syndromes in cerebral palsy children that is causing some painful spasm. Therefore, some studies suggest that Myofascial Release Technique is able to help the symptomps, in hope it can be able to give less spasticity on cerebral palsy spastic hemiplegia. Research objectives: To find out the effect of Myofascial release technique on spasticity of cerebral palsy spastic hemiplegia children. Methodology:Systematic review of three articles that related with myofascial release technique, cerebral palsy spastic hemiplegia, and spasticity on cerebral palsy spastic. Results:Myofascial release technique can not to gives significant effect to decrease spasticity on cerebral palsy spastic hemiplegia, but itis able to support the other therapy and gives more significant decreasing spasticity along with another therapy. Conclusion:Myofascial release technique is able to gives less spasticity along with other treatment rather than using myofascial release alone. Research contributions: Hapsari Oktaviana Hariaji is the main researcher that selected the topic, wrote the paper, and collected data. Dhea Pritasya Nanda Melip searched, review study document, and collected data. Mianti Nurrizky Sutejo reviewed study document

Abstract

Stroke is a central nervous breakdown disease that causes due to loss and dysfunction of brain parts Disability in the blood supply to the brain blood vessels. Among these three classifications, ischemic stroke is among the most common types of stroke, which is about 70 % of the whole case. As a top-down rehabilitation hegemon, mirror therapy improves lower limb motor function, balance, transferability and activities of daily living for stroke patients by increasing functional connectivity and activity in areas of the brain that promote motor function. It is indicated that hydrotherapy soaks warm feet with mirror therapy in the intervention group and mirror therapy in the control group are equally effective in improving the muscle strength of the upper and lower extremities. Methodological quality of studies using the scholar, pubmed.

Abstract

Back pain is a common complaint in everyday life. Low back pain remains a major public health burden throughout the industrialized world. Epidemiological data showing low back pain ranks 19th with a percentage of 27% and a lifetime prevalence of 60%. Various data in several developing countries state that the incidence of low back pain is approximately 15-20% of the population, most of which are acute or chronic low back pain, including the benign type. Functional limitations include difficulty bending, walking for a long time, and sitting for a long time because of the pain. Assessment of signs and symptoms is very important to the planning and evaluation. Benefits for Academics This research is expected to add scientific insight to personnel who want to know about case reports of lumbar spondylosis in the elderly. Interviews were conducted by filling out a questionnaire with the researcher's guide. Exercise Performing exercises with the guidance of the researcher, which includes an operating system for physiotherapy intervention procedures. Case report The researcher conducted a literature review related to the combined exercise of lumbar spondylosis in the elderly.

Abstract

Background : The aging process is associated with a progressive decline in neuromuscular function, increased risk of injury and fractures, impaired functional performance, and loss of independence. Plyometric training can reduce or even improve the ability of the anterior ligament mass. However, little research has been done on the effects of plyometric training on the elderly.Research objective : To prevent anterior ligament injuries in pre-elderly.Methodology : The method used is a literature review of several articles on plyometric exercises to prevent anterior ligament injuries. Results : Plyometric training can have a significant effect on preventing anterior ligament injuries in pre-elderly.Conclusion : Giving exercise therapy can increase daily physical activity in pre-elderly.
