Abstract

Competition between companies in the manufacture of increasingly strict industrial products, pt optimech engineering is still facing obstacles such as production time that does not meet the target.This restriction occurs due to the frequent occurrence of products that do not conform to the specifications because the equipment used for production has a low capacity and does not correspond to the quantity of production performed.The purpose of this research is to identify and provide proposals for repair of the work system so that it can eliminate waste found in the cnc department and know the changes that occur in the proposal for repair of the production process.Based on the waste assessment model (WAM), The defect is a percentage of 24.01%, and the waste defect also significantly affects the occurrence of other waste.From the results of the fishbone diagram summarized a number of possibilities which are considered to be the root of the problem, It is a basis for repair recommendations. Work system improvements can be done by accurately predicting and planning production in order to avoid overinventory and could harm the company, supplying employees with more insight into the work and handling of products, and do control for materials before being sent to the next process do the supply of machines according to the production capacity and complexity of products and machine repairs periodically, use or do machine purchases according to the body dimension the labor is owned and does things that can motivate employees to be able to work well.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThere are still many jobs whose flow is still manually that requires a worker to have more muscle and bone abilities. Sometimes everyone also has limitations, and muscle complaints often occur when doing manual work, especially musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). Activities carried out at PT Patria Maritim Perkasa are still manual, especially in the blaster section, so many workers complain of aches and pains in their bodies. This study aims to determine the subjective complaints of MSDs, the level of ergonomics risk, and the relationship between work posture, age, body mass index, exercise habits, and smoking habits on MSDs complaints. The tools used are NBM questionnaire, work posture image and employee characteristics questionnaire. The NBM questionnaire showed subjective complaints especially felt at the waist with a score of 23 (90.6%). The method used is the REBA method which produces a high level of risk, namely in the lower sandblasting operation with a score of 9 and during material transfer for sandblasting and preparation of sandblasting equipment with a score of 8. Based on the results of research trials related to MSD complaints are work posture, age and body mass index, exercise habits and smoking habits. There is no relationship with MSD claims, with a significance > 0.05.

Abstract

B3 medical waste management raises specific considerations and can provide a major problem if not handled effectively. As a result, PT. Desa Air Cargo Batam is on hand to undertake the processing, and the company already holds a B3 industrial waste processing authorization. To meet the company's vision and objective, the correct Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) must be used to reduce negative affects on the environment and society. However, in these companies, awareness and comprehension of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the handling of B3 medical waste remains a concern that must be addressed. The Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) research technique was utilized for software development, and application development in this study was done with Adobe Illustrator, Visual Studio Code, and Flutter. The resulting application is compatible with Android smartphones running at least version 8.0 (Oreo). The waterfall method is applied in this scenario. The findings of black-box testing and functional testing reveal that the application performed as predicted, and the results of this application questionnaire are in the very good category, with no problems when operating

Abstract

Dapur si Nyonyong is one of the home industries located in Padang City, engaged in the production of ready-to-eat snacks, particularly potato chips. The production system applied is a make-to-order production system. The fluctuating and uncertain customer demand in each ordering period requires Dapur si Nyonyong to be able to fulfill customer requests to produce potato chips according to the quantity demanded by customers. In this study, a dynamic system modeling of potato chips production is conducted to identify the interacting variables in the dynamic potato chips production process at Dapur si Nyonyong and analyze the potato chips production system's impact on the raw material requirements. The modeling is carried out using Vensim software. The results obtained are as follows: 1. The dynamic system model of potato chips production at Dapur si Nyonyong consists of interconnected variables. The factors that build the model include the customer demand subsystem, raw material subsystem, production subsystem, and cost and revenue subsystem. 2. Based on the simulation results for the next 2 years, potato chips production will increase by 33%. However, with a monthly raw material inventory of only 20 kg, production delays are expected due to the demand for production that exceeds the available inventory. The cost for raw material requirements also increases by 33%.

Abstract

In the discipline of computer science, artificial intelligence, commonly referred to as AI, is a subfield that tries to make machines (computers) capable of completing activities simultaneously with and in addition to those that are performed by people. Due to a lack of information regarding pregnancy illnesses in women, the symptoms that are experienced during pregnancy, as well as the significance of pregnancy and delivery services, there is a lack of understanding regarding the period during which the fetus is developing inside the womb. This has a substantial impact on the health of both the mother and the fetus, since it carries with it an increased chance of miscarriage and maternal death since the pregnancy is being maintained. With a system that diagnoses pregnancy disorders in women, it can be used for the consultation process to find out what symptoms are solutions for pregnancy. The forward chaining method can determine solutions based on symptom data. The study's goal is to create a web-based expert system to diagnose pregnancy disorders in women. symptoms that are selected by the user, and the system that has been developed is able to offer a solution to the difficulties that have been encountered.

Abstract

This research aims to predict PT Gudang Garam Tbk's stock prices using the ARIMA method. Historical daily stock price data were analyzed to detect trends and seasonality. The ARIMA model was developed and tested, demonstrating significant predictive accuracy. Evaluation metrics such as Mean Absolute Error and Root Mean Squared Error were employed for performance assessment. The research contributes to stock price prediction methodologies, offering practical implications for investors and financial analysts. In conclusion, the study establishes a robust foundation for utilizing the ARIMA method in forecasting PT Gudang Garam Tbk's future stock prices.

Abstract

SMPN 40 Batam Library implements a library information system. Currently, because library data information management is still very conventional, errors in checking data and difficulties in finding data information still often occur in library data management. Along with the development of library needs, it is important to realize that the data management process, including member data, book data, data borrowing, data returning, and data library are still done manually. The main objective of implementing a library information system is to facilitate the smooth processing of data and information in the library, especially for library staff. This aims to ensure that book borrowers can more easily access various information related to the book collections available in the library. For digital library development, the first is small-scale development. The digital library application was created using Adobe Animate software and Adobe AIR as the programming language. The data collection method uses the waterfall method which is carried out in stages, namely needs analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance. Design stages use Unified Modeling Language (UML) such as use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams. And system testing adopts black box testing. The research results show that the digital library system has succeeded in building Android-based applications that can be run on mobile devices. Digital library applications are more convenient for administrators to use, managing book data and querying book information and making library reports more efficient.

Abstract

Nowadays we use increasingly developing technology. In this technology, we definitely use websites to find all the information we need. Many Indonesians are familiar with the internet and use it in their daily lives. Websites may using for various things like product promotions, study, work and much more. In this research, we will create an order input website using a bootstrap framework for a small food stall business. Because, there are still many stall sellers who still use manual systems in ordering and calculating total orders. This will create the risk of forgetting orders and making mistakes in giving change. The research using the waterfall method. The results of the researches is a food order input website with a responsive display that is used to manage food orders. The goal of this researches are to design a website for inputting food orders for food stall businesses with the hope that we can help sellers to carry out work effectively, quickly and thoroughly in this work.

Abstract

handphone or cell phones are electronic telecommunication devices that have capabilities and functions resembling computers. Almost all society own and use mobile phones for communication and business purposes, so that smartphones are a mandatory item for their users. Like other electronic goods, if used too often, cellphones are susceptible to damage due to various triggers such as exposure to liquids, falls, or improper use in everyday life. Not many people understand the types of cell phone damage. With the rise of irresponsible service agents who take advantage of people's ignorance in detecting damage to cellphones, a web-based expert system was designed to detect damage to damaged cellphones. With the creation of this system, ordinary people can also get an idea of ​​cell phone damage, often with the help of experts in the field. This system uses PHP as the backend, MYSQL as the database, and uses forward chaining.

Abstract

Paid leave is temporary absence commonly used in companies. The purpose of using paid leave is not to come to work for a predetermined period of time which does not cut salary. Naturally, this is quite significant, particularly in the workplace, as if a business has staff who are not disciplined like they want to not come to work anytime, then admin can cut their salaries. There are various methods for applying for paid leave, starting from recording data manually, and through the system. In general, companies apply for paid leave using manualy system or paper methods. This can increase operating costs and result in excessive paper usage. PT. BPR Dana Makmur initially used manual or paper methods as a means to apply for paid leave. The researchers attempted to create a web-based application based on this issue. with the Agile leave application procedure and made it a research project. It is anticipated that this application will be able to reduce the excessive use of paper and minimize office operational costs. Furthermore, it is anticipated that this technology will enable employees to examine real-time leave data.
