Abstract

Citizenship Education in Higher Education is one of the compulsory subjects that make up the character of students. Long-term goals to be achieved in this study are as follows: find a design development Citizenship Through Education Learning Model to Improve Character ADDIE Students At University Slamet Riyadi Surakarta. The method used in this research is the research and development that is supported by the study of literature and literary documents and supported with Data Triangulation techniques appropriate to the problems discussed. Design development in this research using ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluation). The results showed as follows: First Analysis is to analyze needs, identify problems (needs), and analysis tasks. Second, Design, this design phase, formulate learning objectives are SMART. Third, Development is the process of realizing blue-print. Fourth, Implementation is a concrete step to implement a learning system that we are creating. Fifth, Evaluation is the process to see if the system is being built successful learning, in line with initial expectations or not. Evaluation is the final step of the ADDIE model of instructional systems design. Based on the ADDIE model of instructional development was later adopted in the development stage learning model Project Citizen (PC) with a new name "MPC" (Modification of Project Citizen).

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) To develop a learning model based Political Education in civics student participation in accordance with the conditions of SMA Negeri 3 Sukoharjo. (2) Describe the steps Political Education learning models based on participation of students in Civics in accordance with the conditions of SMA Negeri 3 Sukoharjo. (3) Describe the feasibility of developing a learning model based on student participation Political Education in Civics in accordance with the conditions of SMA Negeri 3 Sukoharjo. This study uses the research or development of Research and Development. Data analysis is an interactive model of analysis of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Research procedures using the steps preliminary study phase, development and testing. Based on these results it can be concluded that: (1) High School Civics Teacher Interior 3 Sukoharjo desperately need civics learning models that optimize student participation in the learning of political education. These needs can be equipped with developing learning models that are tailored to the conditions of SMA Negeri 3 Sukoharjo. (2) The steps of Politics Partisipare learning model is as follows: (a) Planning Phase (b) Implementation Phase (c) Evaluation Phase. (3) Of all the due diligence has been carried out by researchers generate that the learning model is on average rated as excellent and worthy by a team of experts, teachers and students so as to promote student participation in politics with through civics education.

To realize a good citizen in the life of the nation it is necessary to understand the sense of values, norms, morals, ethics and view of life as this dakan any behavior or attitude underlying the actions of every citizen in achieving the goal of living together. And with an understanding of values, norms, morals, ethics, and philosophy of life is pervasive in every citizen, will strengthen the existence of the country's own citizens to live a life of nation and state.

Abstract

Street children are particularly vulnerable to the dangers of drugs. The number of street children in Sukoharjo move the hearts of volunteers of P4GN team Sukoharjo in the implementation soft rehabilitation of street children through school for street children. Sukoharjo P4GN team formed for cases of drug abuse had gone into all districts in Indonesia. This research aims to determine the participation of P4GN team Sukoharjo in fulfilling the education?s rights of street children, street children school implementation process, constraints encountered, and the impacts after implementation of that program. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. Selection of informants is determined by purposive sampling technique. Sources of data obtained from informants and a review of documents, and also from techniques of data collection is done through interview, observation, and documentation study. To test the validity of the data, using data triangulation technique. The technique of data analysis using interactive analysis, which is done in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan kegiatan penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran PKn di kelas X Program Teknik Otomotif SMK Purnama Surakarta  Semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017 dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif type Think Pair Share (TPS). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kelas X Semester II kompetensi keahlian TKR di SMK Purnama Surakarta. Subjek penelitian yang berjumlah 34 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Indikator prestasi belajar dalam penelitian ini ditetapkan berdasarkan Standart Ketuntasan Belajar Mengajar (SKBM) yang digunakan pada mata pelajaran PKn Kelas X semester II di SMK Purnama Surakarta, siswa dikatakan tuntas belajar secara individual apabila telah mencapai nilai ? 75. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa melalui metode kooperatif tipe think pair share (TPS), dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar PKn siswa di kelas X TKR 1 SMK Purnama Surakarta. Peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa pada kegiatan prasiklus diperoleh hasil sebesar 44.61% meningkat menjadi 62.25% pada tindakan siklus I, meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 74.02%, meningkat pada siklus III menjadi 89.22%. Hasil belajar PKn di kelas X TKR 1 SMK Purnama Surakarta pada kegiatan prasiklus dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 69.59 dan jumlah ketuntasan sebanyak 17 siswa (50.00%). Setelah dilakukan tindakan I, nilai rata-rata sebesar 73.47 dengan ketuntasan 20 siswa (58.82%). Peningkatan pada siklus II dengan nilai rata-rata adalah 75.91 dan jumlah ketuntasan sebanyak 24 siswa (70.60%). Peningkatan pada siklus III ditunjukkan dengan nilai rata-rata adalah 81.71 dan jumlah ketuntasan sebanyak 34 siswa (100%).  Kata kunci: Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe TPS (Think Pair Share), Motivasi Belajar, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

In curriculum structure of high education level, there is a group of courses, the existence of which is as if salt. Its presence is very desirable but it is not valued highly. Cooking with less or even no salt will have no taste. But when the salt becomes flavoring in for example gule kambing cooking, people will no longer remember its existence. What the people remember is the deliciousness of goat meat and its broth. Similarly, the existence of general course (mata kuliah umum = MKU) in the structure of high education curriculum is very important but it is not valued highly, even it is as if marginalized like stepchild. It occurs in various colleges, particularly in study program developing natural and reengineering sciences. Even in United States of America, MKU is perceived as the neglected stepchild of the undergraduate experience. Poor perception on MKU is in contradiction with the objective of organizing the course group, i.e. as the attempt of helping the personality development of students in order to serve as the members of society, nation, and state. Then, MKU also attempts to grow the students? sensitivity to social problems arising in the society, and to provide basic knowledge to make the students capable of thinking in interdisciplinary manner, understanding various scholars? thought thereby facilitating them to communicate. In contemporary terminology, MKU works to balance the three aspect of student ability known as the balance between Intellectual Quotient (IQ), Emotional Quotient (EQ), and Spiritual Quotient (SQ). Nowadays, the most appropriate moment for the organizer of college to make academic repent by means of revitalizing the general course professionally. Otherwise, this nation?s moral actually deteriorates. Other evidences of deteriorated moral are: (1) poor mastery of national language (local area and Indonesia) as the result of language imperialism. (2) Excessive pride of foreign product (various cultural artifact). (3) Dissatisfaction with state in dealing with corruption, public service, government performance. (4) Intentional or unintentional brain drain. (5) No solid national education self-identity as the result of education imperialism.

Abstract

This paper aims to put civics education into historical perspective and the wider political. Civic education related to the globalization of market capitalism (market capitalism), which also leads to the emergence of cultural values of the new, which is not always explicit, but more implicitly into the model of education and new development. One important aspect of this change is a radical transformation of subjectivity among the new generation of Indonesian students. Major task of citizenship education is to assist in understanding the process not only cultural but also historical contexts. His statement is whether the competency-based curriculum of civic education can engage students in discussion about what it means to be a good citizen of Indonesia in the 21st century.
