Abstract

Considering the result of research, it could be concluded that: (1) education accessibility to disabled students in the attempt of obtaining appropriate solution in Surakarta Sebelas Maret University had been good although not all are disabled-friendly. So far, the disabled students existing in Surakarta Sebelas Maret University reported can access a variety of education supporting facility that had been provide by the campus. But there were some difficulties they found when they conducted education activity related to the distances between buildings existing in Surakarta Sebelas Maret University. (2) Some factors inhibited the education accessibility to the disabled students in the attempt of obtaining the equality of right to acquire education including (a) Regulation related to lift provision in lecturing building only for the four-storied or more building. (b) limited cost leading to many infrastructures or facilities were made friendly to the disabled. (c) Policy, there was no special rule or policy prepared for the disabled students including no special quota for disabled students admission, no special data about number or type of obstacles faced by the disabled students in Surakarta Sebelas Maret University. (d)  political will, there was some obstacles encountered in Surakarta Sebelas Maret University in providing education accessibility to the disabled students that are influenced by the political will are still lacking. (3) Solutions to overcome the obstacles in providing education accessibility to the disabled students in the attempt of obtaining the equality of right to acquire education included (1) to accelerate the construction of new disabled-friendly building, (2) to renovate the old building, (3) solution related to policy. The Surakarta Sebelas Maret University would take into account the student accessibility policy including special registration for disabled students in Surakarta Sebelas Maret University. (4). Solution related to political will. Increase officials political will in Surakarta Sebelas Maret University to overcome the obstacles in providing education accessibility to the disabled students in the attempt of obtaining the equality of right to acquire education.

Abstract

It has been human?s habit to carry out something to achieve his/her want, as long as his/her want has been achieved and met with the achievement in the form secular contentment, he/she will feel that God honor him/her deeply. When he/she is not able to achieve his/her want and suffering/poverty and difficulty befalls him/her, he/she will say that God makes him/her contemptible. Such a character needs to reconsider in by evaluating the intention inside us, because our deed depends on intention, when our intention is to serve to nation and state, this service should be clean of greed passion, evil, jealousy, lie, deceit, mark up, plagiarism, even resistance to the Republic of Indonesia, Pancasila and 1945 Constitution and Bhineka Tunggal Ika. As a human who believes in God, we cannot escape from Him, that the intention to defend the state and to build the nation and to make Indonesian people prosperous is conducted because of solely God. For that reason, everything related to God, it should be done with humanity, civilization and justice principles. Each of our action and movement should uphold Indonesian unity by enforcing consensually discussion in wisdom and social justice philosophy for entire Indonesian nation, it is the character that should be inherent to Indonesian people.

Abstract

When Indonesian put  Pancasila as doctrin, then Pancasila was not logical and rational ideology, but it became mythology. The  educational  world  as the best instrument to developing socialization of Pancasila?s values, because it has dominant potention of homo significans. Pancasila as icon, index, and symbol ought to give another interpretation, so that we are not trapped by mono interpretation, which has to eliminated Pancasila itself.  The situation has occurred in the New Orde age. It means, the strength of Pancasila  did not put to give meaning by political elit only, but involved in social. The Indonesian society has sense of belonging to Pancasila, so that they always keep Pancasila?s values in our life.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui  (1) para dosen PKn di Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto mengembangkan nilai-nilai demokrasi kepada para mahasiswanya; (2) kendala para dosen PKn di Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto untuk mengembangkan nilai-nilai demokrasi kepada para mahasiswanya; (3) solusi para dosen PKn di Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto menghadapi kendala untuk mengembangkan nilai-nilai demokrasi kepada para mahasiswanya. Merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dengan wawancara mendalam. Informannya seluruh dosen PKn di Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwwokerto. analisis data yaitu data reduction, data display, data conclusion/ drawing/ verification. Untuk mengembangkan sikap kebebasan berkelompok pada diri mahasiswa dapat dipraktekkan melalui diskusi. Sebagai contoh ketika di dalam kelas mahasiswa diberi kebebasan untuk memilih siapa saja anggota yang menjadi kelompoknya ketika berdiskusi. Kendala yang dihadapi oleh dosen dalam pengembangan sikap-sikap demokratis mahasiswa adalah lingkungan tidak memberikan contoh yang baik, terjadi ketidaksesuaian antara apa yang diucapkan oleh dosen dengan yang ada lingkungan. Solusi yang dilakukan oleh dosen dalam menghadapi kendala tersebut yaitu menerapkan pendidikan demokrasi kepada mahasiswa khususnya melalui pembelajaran di dalam kelas dan dosen sebagai model yang dicontoh oleh mahasiswa harus memberikan teladan yang baik.

Abstract

A long with the appereance of democracy ideology development it also develops constitutionalism ideology in which the goverment authority must be limited by the constitution. It is purposed to avoid arbitrary authority that can inflict people business. Beside restricting goverment authority, it also determine matters pertaining to form goverment sturcture from given country. It followes the certain pattern go along wuth constitution certainty. In all countries matter pertaining to form goverment pattern devides into England pattern, USA pattern, Uni Sovyet pattern (history), and mixture pattern. Those explaine various appearance, but it generally depends on the given matters pertaining to form goverment pattern clasification.Those different patterns finally go to the problem that who and whom the authority must be handled responsibilty ?. Those will be in which it?s source from people and will be used by the goverment on behalf of people name.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah membangun model penataan kembali kurikulum bahan kajian mata kuliah Kewarganegaraan  di Perguruan Tinggi  agar lebih optimal dapat mengembangkan karakter mahasiswa dalam mentaati hukum. Karakter yang dimaksud bersumber pada asas Ketuhanan, Kemanusiaan, Persatuan, Kerakyatan dan keadilan. Sumber karakater tersebut harus dijabarkan dalam nilai nilai karakter. Karakter ini dapat terlaksana kalau setiap civitas akademika Perguruan Tinggi taat pada hukum. Untuk mencapai hal tersebut diperlukan keteladanan ketaatan dari civitas akademika. Penataan kurikulum Kewarganegaraan terlebih dahulu  merumuskan visi, misi dan tujuan mata kuliah kewarganegaraan, menentukan profil dan  rumusan kompetensi  serta upaya mensinkronkan kompetensi dengan bahan kajian. Substansi materi  Kewarganegaraan kesadaran dan ketaatan hukum dijabarkan dari asas Ketuhanan, kemanusiaan, persatuan, kerakyatan dan keadilan dan memuat kajian  hukum Tuhan , hukum Etis dan hukum kodrat serta  asas asas  hukum positif Indonesia. Hukum positif yang dimaksud adalah Perundang-Undangan yang konstekstual yang terjadi di masyarakat/daerah/ kota dan desa. Penataan kajian materi kewarganegaraan dalam aspek hukum ditekankan disamping  pada pengetahuan hukum, isi, sikap  serta  pola perilaku hukum, namun juga  nilai nilai hukum/Undang Undang. Jadi ditekankan pada stransfer nilai hukum dan  bukan semata mata transfer pengetahuan hukum. Tindak lanjut dari implementasi kajian itu perlu diuji cobakan dalam proses  pembelajaran di dalam kampus , dan  juga melakukan kegiatan ekstra kurikuler praktek laboratorium  yang dapat dilakukan baik di kampus maupun di luar kampus sesuai dengan kemampuan Perguruan tinggi masing masing.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar materi membangun kesadaran berbangsa dan bernegara siswa klas X Semester II, SMK Negeri 5 Surakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017 melalui penerapan metode STAD dengan media gambar. Setting penelitian di Kelas X SMK Negeri 5 Surakarta. Penelitian dilakukan selama 5 (lima) bulan yaitu pada bulan Januari sampai dengan  bulan Mei 2017. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X berjumlah 32 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Indikator pencapaian siswa dikatakan tuntas belajar secara individual apabila telah mencapai nilai ? 76. Indikator keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini ditentukan apabila jumlah siswa yang tuntas lebih dari 85%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari kegiatan prasiklus hingga siklus III hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan yang maksimal. Peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa pada kegiatan prasiklus diperoleh hasil sebesar 41.15% meningkat menjadi 61.98% pada tindakan siklus I, meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 77.60%, meningkat pada siklus III menjadi 89.58%. Hasil belajar PKn di SMK Negeri 5 Surakarta pada kegiatan prasiklus dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 74.06 dan jumlah ketuntasan sebanyak 16 siswa (50.00%). Setelah dilakukan tindakan I, nilai rata-rata pada siklus I sebesar 77.28 dengan jumlah ketuntasan 20 siswa (62.50%) dengan demikian terjadi kenaikan nilai rata-rata sebesar 3.22 dan jumlah ketuntasan meningkat 4 siswa. Peningkatan pada siklus II ditunjukkan dengan nilai rata-rata adalah 81.22 dan jumlah ketuntasan sebanyak 27 siswa (84.38%). Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa telah terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata 3.94 dan jumlah ketuntasan meningkat 7 siswa. Peningkatan pada siklus III ditunjukkan dengan nilai rata-rata adalah 82.78 dan jumlah ketuntasan sebanyak 28 siswa (87.50%). Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa telah terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata 1.56 dan jumlah ketuntasan meningkat 1 siswa. Kata kunci: Hasil Belajar, Motivasi Belajar, STAD, Media Gambar.

Abstract

Throughout the history, the office and presence of regional leader are very strategic. The authority of regional leader always represents two functions, as the instrument of central government and local government. Regional leader is a significant component for the success of national development program and is a managerial figure who determines the effectivenessof local government?s goal achievement. Therefore, local governance process is synergistically determined by the role of regional leader; so that the leadership of regional leader within the bureaucracy plays an important role in building strong governance. Surakarta under the leadership of JokoWidodo as the Mayor and FX.Hadi Rudyatmo as the Deputy Mayor is a good model of regional leaderthat succeed in managing the district of Surakarta. The success is marked by so many achievements and awards received by the district of Surakarta. It means there is something special in the process of governance in Surakarta  so that this best practice of successful public policy by The Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Surakarta can be a replicated by other cities.

Abstract

The value of anti-corruption educational values such as discipline, responsibility, honesty, fairness is self competence must exist and be developed by all teachers, in addition to professional competence should be done with hard work, discipline, daring, simple and independent. Naturally, the value is inherent in the nature of teachers who have the task of instilling noble values in students in the teaching task. Teachers as changing agents, as the main door to success should have a strong conviction to realize success in forming the character of generations of anti-corruption, they are in the vanguard of anti-corruption education.
