Abstract

Abstrak Latar Belakang: Rendahnya prestasi belajar siswa dapat disebabkan karena guru kurang tepat dalam memilih dan menerapkan metode pembelajaran yang sesuai untuk menyampaikan materi pelajaran. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan guru untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa yaitu dengan menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran pendekatan pembelajaran Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh pendekatan pembelajaran CTL terhadap prestasi belajar ekonomi siswa. (2) pengaruh kemampuan awal siswa terhadap prestasi belajar ekonomi siswa. (3) pengaruh pendekatan pembelajaran CTL terhadap prestasi belajar ekonomi ditinjau dari kemampuan awal siswa. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimen) dengan desain faktorial 2x3, dan dengan rancangan penelitian pre-test post-test control-group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Tumijajar Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Teknik penggumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode dokumentasi dan metode tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis variansi dua jalan sel tak sama. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan: (1) Terdapat pengaruh pendekatan pembelajaran CTL terhadap prestasi belajar siswa Fhitung > Ftabel atau 5,819>4,00 (2) Terdapat pengaruh tingkat kemampuan awal siswa tinggi, sedang, dan rendah terhadap prestasi belajar siswa Fhitung > Ftabel atau 22,903>3,15. 3) Terdapat pengaruh pendekatan pembelajaran CTL terhadap prestasi belajar siswa ditinjau dari kemampuan awal siswa Fhitung > Ftabel atau 5,786>3,15. Dengan demikian hasil penelitian dengan pendekatan pembelajaran CTL lebih baik daripada siswa yang diajarkan dengan pendekatan pembelajaran konvensional. Prestasi belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan pendekatan pembelajaran CTL pada kemampuan awal awal siswa menunjukan adanya pengaruh.   Kata Kunci: Pendekatan Pembelajaran, Kemampuan Awal Siswa, Prestasi Belajar Ekonomi Siswa.

Abstract

The study aims to describe (1) performance of certified teachers on economic subjects in the Senior High School, in Jepara Distric, Central Java indicated from pedagogic competence (2) performance of certified teachers on economic subjects in the Senior High School, in Jepara Distric, Central Java indicated from professional competence (3) performance of certified teachers on economic subjects in the Senior High School, in Jepara Distric, Central Java indicated from social competence (4) performance of certified teachers on economic subjects in the Senior High School, in Jepara Distric, Central Java indicated from personal competence (5) the phenomenon underlying performance of certified teachers on economic subjects in the Senior High School, in Jepara Distric, Central Java. This research was carried out in the Senior High School in the Distric of Jepara. Qualitative Descriptive is used as research method. The population in this research were all certified teachers on economic subjects in the Jepara Senior High Schools. Purposive sampling is used as sampling techniques. The sample of the research comprised a total of 11 teachers consist of 3 certified economic teachers in the Senior High School ofWelahan, 3 certified economic teachers in the Senior High School of Pecangaan, 2 certified economic teachers in the Senior High School of Jepara, 3 certified economic teachers in the Senior High School of PGRI. The techniques of data collection were interviews, observation and documentation. The techniques of data analysis used interactive analysis. Result and conclusions of this study is the performance of certified teachers on economic subjects in the Senior High School, in Jepara Distric, Central Java has not been fully showed the change, because (1) indicated from pedagogical competence, teacher set learning goals just based on the syllaby, regardless of the needs and the conditions of the students, besides that the eight of teaching skills can not be done well. (2) indicated from personal competence, teachers have played the main role as models for their students in order the students had promises to improve their discipline and responsibilities for themselves. (3) indicated from professional competence, speech method is often used as teaching method, so there are still many learning resources are unused by teachers, such as libraries, school cooperatives, markets and the willingness of the teachers to improve their professionalism by training, workshops, seminars and lectures are still low. (4) indicated from social competence teachers have responsibility for their profession as intelligent person who is demanded to be able contribute their ideas for the surrounding communities (5) the phenomenon underlying the performance of certified teachers on economic subjects in the Senior High School, in Jepara Distric, Central Java of which teachers do not have good management in teaching-learning, teachers do not have a genuine intention to teach, and the facilities provided by the school do not support the current method, there are socio-cultural factors that affect the appearance of the teachers in the society. Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to: 1). To determine the validity of the economic teaching instrument using e-modules based PBL to improve problem-solving skills can guarantee the research results. 2). To determine the effectiveness of development e-modules based PBL to improve students' ability to solve problems in SMA Islam Sunan Gunung Jati. This research and development used research & development module, according to Borg & Gall, 1983. The populations of  this study were 252 students. Development of samples was done by using simple random sampling: the sample totaled 152 students. The analysis data used Descriptive and T-test of  two independent samples that have previously been tested in the form prerequisite normality test, homogeneity and the average balance. Based on the results of the validity of the economic teaching instrument using e-modules based PBL to improve problem-solving skills validation study concluded that as many media experts 96. 25% with very good criteria, material experts and strategy as much as 95.55% with very good criteria, expert practitioners of  RPP as much as 94.69% with very good criteria, syllabus as many as 92, 00% with the criteria very well.Based on the results of the effectiveness testing analysis concluded that: 1). at the trial produces t-test Value t-hitung  >  t-tabel (10.936 > 1.9977). 2) The limited testing t-test Value t-hitung > t-tabel (20.936 > 1.9944). 3) The use of trials tested using t-test two independent samples using separated variance with the results for t-hitung (3289) > t-table (2,101) due to t-hitung> t-table. The conclusionis the use of e-modules based on problem based learning is better than LKS based on problem-based learning in terms of improving students' problem-solving skills. Based on the results of problem-solving skills students gain normalized scores were analyzed with the yield on the experimental class students' problem solving abilities high category as high is 87.5%, medium is 12.5% low is much as 0%. While the results of students' ability to solve problems in the control class problem-solving skills of students whose high category as high is 50.5% of students, while medium is 57.5% of students, low is 0%.Key words: e-modules, problem based learning, problem solving students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and determine (1) The effect on the performance of SMEs HR competence in the field of garment Klaten district. (2) The effect of social capital on the performance of SMEs in the garment district of Klaten. (3) The effect of financial capital on the performance of SMEs in the garment district of Klaten. (4) The effect of human resource competencies to the financial capital of SMEs in the garment district of Klaten. (5) the effect of social capital on financial capital of SMEs in the garment field kbaupaten Klaten. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study is the garment sector SMEs in Klaten District. Data analysis in this study using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The sample in this study of 160 SMEs in the field of garment Klaten that dispersed into 5 clusters.  The sampling technique used is the cluster area sampling technique. Techniques of data collection using questionnaire instrument with a Likert scale. The data obtained in this study is primary data obtained directly by distributing questionnaires to the respondents. Prerequisite test SEM analysis used in this research include: sample adequacy test assumptions, normality test and evaluation of outliers. Testing the suitability of the model using a x2 test - Chi-Square statistic, RMSEA (Root Mean Square Error of Approximation), GFI (Goodness of fit index), AGFI (Adjusted Goodness of Fit Index), CMIN / DF (The Minimum Sample Discrepancy Function devided with degrre of Freedom), TLI (Tucker Lewis Indeex), CFI (Comparative Fit Index). Hypothesis test used path analysis suitability. Based on calculations concluded that: (1) the variable Human Resources competencies have significant positive effect on SME performance variable with a value of 4557 and significant at p <0.05, (2) the social capital variables have a significant positive effect on the performance of SMEs variable with a value of 3.599 and was significant at p <0.05, (3) the financial capital variables have a significant positive effect on the performance of SMEs with a value variable sebesarn 4.334 and significant at p <0.05, (4) the HR competency variables have a significant positive effect on the financial capital variables with a value of 3.554 and significant at p <0.05, (5) the social capital variables have a significant positive effect on the financial capital variable with a value of 3.388 and significant at p <0.05.Keywords: Human Resources Competency, Social Capital, Financial Capital, SME Performance

Abstract

 The objective of this research was to investigate the difference effect between the TGT cooperative learning model assisted Smartgapoly interactive media (MPK-TGT Smartgapoly) and the direct learning model (MPL) on learning achievement in Accounting viewed emotional intelligence. This research was an quasi experimental with nonequivalent pretest and posttest control-group design. The population of research was the students in Grade X of Business and Management Department, State Vocational High School 1 Karanganyar as many as 7 classes. The samples of research consisted of 2 classes. The data were analyzed by using the two-way analysis of variance and was continued with the Scheffe test. The findings showed that: (1) there was a difference effect between MPK-TGT Smartgapoly and MPL on learning achievement in Accounting; (2) there was a difference effect of the high, moderate, and low emotional intelligence on learning achievement in Accounting; and (3) there was an interaction between MPK-TGT Smartgapoly and MPL with emotional intelligence on learning achievement in Accounting. Keywords: Teams Game Tournament, direct learning, Smartgapoly, learning achievement in Accounting, emotional intelligence

Abstract

The purpose of this study are: (1) to determine differences in the effect of the Creative Problem Solving Model-aided learning interactive CD and Student Teams Achievement Division on accounting achievement (2) to determine differences in the effect of high motivation and low motivation on accounting achievement (3) to determine interaction effects of motivation and models of instruction on learning and accounting achievement. The population were students of vocational high school in Blora. Sampling by cluster random sampling technique. The study sample consisted of 95 students.Based on the analysis of data, it can be concluded that: (1) there are differences in the effect of the learning model of CPS assisted interactive CD and STAD on achievement of accounting (cognitive achievement of Fo at 9.932 > Ft 2.70), (affective achievement Fo amounted to 5.839 > Ft 2.70), (psychomotor achievement of Fo at 5.095 > Ft 2.70) (2) there are differences in the effect of high motivation and low motivation on achievement of accounting (cognitive achievement of Fo at 4.126 > Ft 2.70), (results affective learning Fo of 5.689 > Ft 2.70), (psychomotor achievement of Fo by 5.723 > Ft 2.70) (3) there was an interaction effect of models of learning and motivation on achievement of accounting (cognitive achievement of Fo at 4.136 > Ft 2.70), (affective achievement of Fo at 4.341 > Ft 2.70), (psychomotor achievement of Fo at 4.570 > Ft 2.70). Keywords: creative problem solving aided interactive CD, learning motivation and  learning achievement

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to investigate: (1) the role of creativity of the owner of Steak & Chicken Stall in menu type selection, business identity selection, business site selection, each menu?s taste creation, and menu labeling idea in the culinary product diversification; (2) the innovation of the owner of Steak & Chicken Stall in the offered products, business facilities, promotion of products, products which are not preferred by consumers in the culinary product diversification; and (3) the role of creativity and innovation in the culinary product diversification, which is done by the owner of Steak & Chicken Stall.            This research used the descriptive research method. The samples of research were taken by using the accidental sampling technique for the consumers and purposive sampling for the owner and employees of the stall, Head of the Office of Industry and Trade of Magetan Regency. The data of research were gathered through in-depth interview, observation, and documentation. They were analyzed by using the interactive model of analysis.            The result of research shows that creativity and innovation are very much required for product diversification, as they can create new ideas for culinary products.  This in turn will increase the sale turnover and income. Product diversification is truly needed if the business condition begins to be threatened by new competitors or to be left by customers. To fix it, a self-exploration attitude is required, that is, the ability to sharpen creativities and implement them in real actions as an embodiment of innovations, so as to have extraordinary contributions to the increase of sale turnovers, customers, and profits.Keywords: Creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship, and product diversification

Abstract

Abstract Learning technologies is necessary in the learning process, because it can spread the information widely, evenly, fast, uniform and integrated so that the message can be delivered in accordance with the content in question. Technology can be a medium for faculty in order to realize the learning process that is effective, efficient, and productive in accordance with the needs and demands of students. This study aimed to determine differences in learning achievement Micro Economics course student of Economics Faculty of Teacher Education UNLAM seen from the use of multimedia, learning styles and learning motivation of students. The research method used was a 2x3x2 factorial quasi-experimental. This research makes the entire population as the entire population of students taking courses in Micro Economics odd semester 2012/2013 as respondents, amounting to 72 students. Data collection using tests, questionnaires and documentation. Data were analyzed using three-way ANOVA analysis. Conclusions derived from this research are: 1) there are differences in learning achievement of students who use the Micro Economic multimedia with conventional media, 2) there are differences in student achievement visual, auditory and kinesthetic, 3) there are differences in student achievement Micro Economics Economics Education courses FKIP UNLAM that have high and low motivation, 4) there is an interaction effect between the use of multimedia to the type of student learning styles, 5) there is no interaction effect between the use of multimedia on the level of student motivation, 6) there is an interaction effect between type of learning style with the level of student motivation, and 7) there is no effect of the interaction effect of the use of multimedia, learning style type, and level of student motivation to learn. Abstract

The objective of this research is to investigate how far the correlation between entrepreneurship orientation and competency of knowledge and skill aspects on marketing performance of blacksmith craftsmen in Madiun Regency.            This research used the survey method with the quantitative analysis approach with associative problem formulation. The samples of research were taken by using the saturated sampling technique for the population number was relatively small, namely: 30. The data of research were gathered through questionnaire. They were then processed and analyzed by using the computer program of SPSS 16 for Windows.            The result of research shows that the variables of entrepreneurship orientation and competency of knowledge and skill aspects significantly influence the marketing performance as indicated by the value of Fcount = 45.624 with the significance value = 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that the two variables, entrepreneurship orientation and competency of knowledge and skill aspects, have a positively significant effect on the variable of marketing performance. Due to the significant effect of each variable, the blacksmith craftsmen in Madiun Regency are encouraged to improve their entrepreneurship orientation and competency of knowledge and skill aspects so as to improve the marketing performance of their business operation.Keywords:     Entrepreneurship orientation, competency, and marketing performance

Abstract

The aims of the research are to find out: (1) The Effect of concept mapping technique and gaming technique toward the student achievement in accounting subject matter; (2) The Effect of high students's motivation and low students's motivation toward the student achievement in accounting subject matter; (3) The interaction effect between the instructional technique and students's motivation toward the st ident achievement in accounting subject matter. This study is a quantitative research with quasi experimental method. The research begin October 2010 to March 2011. Population of the study are all the eleventh year students of state senior high school 1 for social study major in Surakarta. The research sample are selected with simple random sampling technique. The sample consist of XI IPS 2 (25 students) for concept mapping technique treatment and XI IPS 2 (26 students) for gaming technique treatment. The instruments used to gather dafa for the study consist of documents, written test with essay form, performance test, and questionnaire for students' motivation. Writen test with essay form and questionnaire for students' motivation has been tested who know the proper of instruments. The result of try out test is analyzed with content validity test, item validity test, and reliability test. Item validity test and reliability test were examined using software SPSS. The technique of data analysis are descriptive statistic analysis and inferensial statistic analyses with use software MINITAB. Descriptive statistic analysis is used to divisions of students' motivation in ciass and describe about student achievement in accounting. Inferensial statistic analysis is used to test hypothesis for this research was two path variance analysis. The prerequiste anlysis test consists of normaly test and homogenity variance test. The normality test was done using anderson darling and homogenity variance test was done using F's test. Based on the result of analysis data was concluded: (1) There is a significant effect of concept mapping technique and gaming technique toward the student achievement in accounting subject matter (Fobs > Ftable = 7.94 > 4.06) at 5% level of significant; (2) There is a significant effect of high students' motivation and low students' motivation toward the student achievement in accounting subject matter (Fobs > Ftable = 449.19 > 4.06) at 5% level of significant at 5% level of significant; (3) There is a significant interaction effect between the instructional technique and students' motivation toward the student achievement in accounting subject matter (Fobs > Ftable = 22.47 > 4.06) at 5% level of significant.   Key words:     Concept mapping technique, gaming technique, students' motivation, student achievement in accounting subject matter.
