Abstract

The purposes of this study are to determine : 1) the influence of entrepreneurs personal factor to learning process in counseling, 2) the influence of extension officers capability to learning process in counseling,  3) the influence of learning process in counseling to the entrepreneurship competence, 4) the influence of entrepreneurs personal factor to entrepreneurship competence and 5) the influence of the extension officers capability to entrepreneurship competence. This is descriptive quantitative study. The population of the sample was all small-scale entrepreneurs at Kab. Magelang who got counseling from the Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Department fiscal year 2013. 92 participants were randomly chosen. The instruments used in collecting data are questionnaire, interview and documentation. The data analysis was done through path analysis.The result of this study shows that 1) 19.1% entrepreneurs personal factor influenced the learning process of counseling directly, 2) 26.8% extension officers competence affected the learning process in counseling directly, 3) 5.88% learning process in counseling influenced the entrepreneurship competence directly, 4) 1.92% entrepreneurs personal factor affected the entrepreneurship competence indirectly, 5) 5.29% extension officers competence directly influenced the entrepreneurship competence.Keywords: entrepreneurs personal factor, extension officers capability, learning process in counseling, entrepreneurship competence, small-scale industry

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to investigate: (1) the difference of effect between the Flip Book-assisted Quantum Teaching model and the Expository learning model on the learning result in the subject matter of Introduction to Economics and Business; (2) the difference of effect among the visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles on the learning result in the subject matter of Introduction to Economics and Business; and (3) the interaction of effect of the learning models and the learning styles to the learning result in the subject matter of Introduction to Economics and Business.            This research used the experimental research method with the factorial design of 2x3. The samples of research were taken by using the simple random sampling technique. The data of research were gathered through test of learning result on the subject matter of Introduction to Economics and Business and questionnaire of learning styles. The proposed hypotheses of research were analyzed by using the two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) continued with multiple-comparison test.            The results of research are as follows: (1) there is a difference of effect between the Flip Book-assisted Quantum Teaching learning model and the Expository learning model on the learning result in the subject matter of Introduction to Economics and Business; (2) there is a difference of effect among the visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles on the learning result in the subject matter of Introduction to Economics and Business; and (3) there is an interaction of effect of the learning models and the learning styles to the learning result in the subject matter of Introduction to Economics and Business.Keyword:Quantum teaching,  flip book, learning styles, expository, and learning result

Abstract

This experimental research aims to find out the different on the impacts of using cooperative learning type Student Teams Achievement Divisions and lecturing towards the social program students? achievement on economics subject. The second aim is to find out the difference of social program students having high motivation and those having low motivation towards their achievement on economics subject. The last objective is to find out the interaction impacts between and the level of motivation towards the social program students? achievement on economics subject.The experimental research employed Quasi experiment in which there were experimental group and controlled group. Both were formed randomly. It was conducted in SMA Regina Pacis Surakarta at semester 2 in the academic year of 2012/2013. Among all students of social program, who are the population of this experiment, 34 of whom were in eleventh graders of social 2 and functioned as the experimental group using Student Teams Achievement Divisions.  While the controlled group involved 34 eleventh graders of social 3 who used lecturing. This experiment used purposive cluster technique and random sampling. The data was analyzed using two ways ANAVA with its normality is tested using Liliefors significant correction from Kolmogorov Smirnov Test and its homogeneity is tested using F test.From the analysis, it is found out that firstly there was significant difference on the impacts of cooperative learning type Student Teams Achievement Divisions and lecturing towards students? achievement on economics subject which was shown by the value of F=3.576 and the value of P=0.000 (P<0.05). The second finding was that there was significant difference of students having high motivation and those having low motivation which was shown by the value of F=73.468 with the value of P=0.0000 (P<0.05). The last finding was that there was significant impact between learning model and students? motivation on students? achievement on economics subject which was shown by the value of F=5.434 with P=0.023 and P=0.023 (P<0.05).   Keywords: STAD learning model, academic achievement and motivation to learn.

Abstract

 Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas implementasi Lesson Study pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di SMA, untuk mengetahui kemandirian siswa SMA pada mata pelajaran ekonomi, untuk mengetahui  sikap kewirausahaan siswa di SMA pada mata pelajaran ekonomi. Data penelitian yang diambil data primer. Metode penelitian berbentuk deskriptif kualitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa SMA Negeri 1 Ngadirojo dan SMA Negeri 2 Ngadirojo di Kabupaten Pacitan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan melalui pemaparan data, reduksi data, kategorisasi data, penafsiran/pemaknaan, dan penyimpulan hasil analisis. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Lesson Study sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan proses pembelajaran siswa dan aktivitas guru. Lesson Study  efektif untuk menanamkan kemandirian siswa. Lesson Study dapat menumbuhkan sikap kewirausahaan pada siswa.Kata Kunci: Lesson Study, Kemandirian, Sikap Kewirausahaan

Abstract

Abstrak   Latar Belakang: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh penggunaan tipe pembelajaran Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI) terhadap prestasi belajar akuntansi siswa, (2) pengaruh aktivitas belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar akuntansi siswa, (3) pengaruh interaksi tipe pembelajaran Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI) dengan aktivitas belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar akuntansi siswa. Metode: Penelitian ini termasuk eksperimental semu. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA N 1 Kartasura Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode dokumentasi, tes dan angket. Hasil: Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Anava dua jalan dengan sel tak sama, dengan taraf signifikansi 5%, diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut: (1) penggunaan metode pembelajaran berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar akuntansi, (2) aktivitas belajar siswa berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar akuntansi siswa, (3) interaksi metode pembelajaran dengan aktivitas belajar siswa berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar akuntansi siswa. Hasil uji komparasi ganda dengan metode Scheffe, dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) metode TAI menghasilkan prestasi belajar yang lebih baik daripada metode ceramah, (2) Prestasi belajar siswa yang mempunyai aktivitas belajar tinggi dan sedang lebih baik dari pada siswa yang mempunyai aktivitas belajar rendah, (3) Tidak ada perbedaan prestasi belajar siswa yang melakukan pembelajaran TAI dengan aktivitas belajar tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Abstract

At the higher education curriculum, especially in the department of accounting and management, accounting software courses is one of compulsory subjects that must be followed by students. Accounting software is taught to students in both semesters odd or even as a prerequisite to taking the final task. The current, accounting software courses that must be submitted to the student is MYOB (Mind Your Own Business) and accounting applications. MYOB accounting software is the most widely used worldwide. Been considered the most effective method of delivering this subject are cases based learning and direct instruction. In the implementation of cases based learning methods combined with direct instruction in accounting courses for this software, it turns out there is no more in-depth evaluation of the successful attainment of the use of this method. New evaluation of the aspects of assessing student learning outcomes in the form of formative, middle of the semester and final examination, while the overall program evaluation has not been done. This research is evaluation research by using Stake's Countenance Model that consists of three evaluation components: (1) antecedents, (2) transactions, and (3) outcomes. The research method used was case study with qualitative research. Data gathering was conducted through interview, documentation study, and observation. Decision making or judgment for each aspect or focus of evaluation was categorized into three levels: low, medium, and high. This categorization was based on the comparison of objective standard of each evaluation phase that was taken from summarized results and figured into case-order effect matrix or countenance matrix. This evaluation research resulted as follows: (1) the antecedents (input) showed that five aspects were achieved by their actualization and one aspect was not achieved, but three sub-aspects were low and one sub-aspect was moderate, (2)       the transactions (process) of the seven aspects studied indicated that their the actualization was achieved but their were two low and one moderate sub-aspects, (3)      the outcomes (output) revealed that two aspects were achieved and one aspect was moderately achieved in it actualization.   Keyword : accounting software MYOB, cases based learning, direct instruction, stake's countenance model, antecedents, transactions, outcomes

Abstract

The aim of the research are to determine 1) The validity of the instruments (Learning device based STS) for Guaranteeing data of the research result. 2) Effectiveness of learning device based on STS to improve metacognitive ability of the student. The study used research methods and development model Borg and Gall modified. Targets of the research consiSTS of "trial class" and "development class". Trial target of learning device developed is the students grade X IPS 3 SMAN 2 Surakarta in academic Year 2015/ 2016, while the development of learning device based  STS is the students grade X IPS 5 ( Instrument class) and X IPS 3( Control class) SMAN 2 Surakarta in academic Year 2015/ 2016.                The trial results of feasibility showed that the valid instrument used for research with the achievement of excellent value. The results of obtained by the percentage of excellent achievement. The results showed that the learning device of economic based on STS effective for improving the metacognitive at the time of testing the effectiveness test between the control class and the development class. The average value  of metacognitive of development class higher than the control class, as well as to the average value of learning outcomes of development class higher than the control class. This value indicates that overall, the value of development class was higher compared with the control class. Keyword : Learning device based STS, Metacognitive, Study result, Learners

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to describe: (1) the development efforts of micro-, small-, and medium-scale enterprises of teakwood handicraft in Bandar sub-village, Batokan village, Kasiman sub-district, Bojonegoro regency through the aspect of production to increase the community income; and (2) the development efforts of micro-, small-, and medium-scale enterprises of teakwood handicraft in Bandar sub-village, Batokan village, Kasiman sub-district, Bojonegoro regency through the aspect of marketing to increase the community income. This research used the descriptive research method with the qualitative phenomonology approach.The samples of research were taken by using the purposive and snowball sampling techniques.The data of research were gathered through in-depth interview, observation, and documentation. They were validated by using source triangulation and method triangulation. The data were analyzed by using the interactive model of analysis comprising four components, namely: data gathering, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of research show that there are six development efforts of micro-, small-, and medium-scale enterprises of teakwood handicraft in Bandar sub-village, Batokan village, Kasiman sub-district, Bojonegoro. This research conclude that: (1) In term of production aspect, the efforts include granting production aids by the government and conducting product innovations; and (2) In term of marketing, they include holding exhibitions, conducting comparative studies, conducting wood fair activities, and marketing the products through internet. The result of observation shows that the highest turnover average achieved by the micro-, small-, and medium-enterprises took place in 2013, that is, 4.01%, whereas the lowest turnover average persisted in 2011, that is, 0.81%. Therefore, a conclusion can be drawn that the most strategic development efforts were applied in 2013. Abstract

?SMP Terbuka? or Open Junior High School is an formal education that applying the concept of independent study which is allocated for school age children who had undergone resistance that make them was not possible to follow education in Regular Junior High School. The learning process in Open Junior High School was totally different with Reguler Junior High School since the condition of almost students in Open School have worked to help their parents. However, standard competence graduates (SKL) and curriculum in Open Junior High School was same as in Reguler Junior High School. The other problem is Lack of ability teachers in Open Junior High School in making an learning media that interesting. This study is purposes to improve the ability of teachers in SMP Terbuka Kemusu and SMP Terbuka Wonosegoro in making an learning media with Prezi software. The result of this study showed that been increasing in the ability of teachers in SMP Terbuka Kemusu and SMP Terbuka Wonosegoro in making an learning media with Prezi. Abstract

Students are encouraged to become entrepreneur as a career option. By the time they graduate from their study and get their degrees, they are expected to be able to create jobs for themselves and others. Student co-operative has a role in the development and regeneration of entrepreneurship amongst students through attending some particular educations and trainings. The contribution of student co-operative in achieving the interest in entrepreneurship is influenced by the participation and the soft skills of its members. This study aimed to determine the interaction between secondary co-operation education and training, members? participation, and members? soft skills towards the interest in entrepreneurship. The method used in this study was ex-post facto with a quantitative descriptive approach.  The population of the study was taken from the members of Student Co-operative in Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Study sample was divided into two groups, which were members who have already attended in education and training program with a total of 70 students collected by purposive sampling, and members who have not been attended in education and training with a total of 70 students taken in quota sampling. Data was collected through questionnaire, documentation, and interviews. This data was analyzed by using three-way ANOVA analysis 2x2x2 factorial.The result of the study showed that: 1) there was a significant difference on the interest in entrepreneurship between members who were attended in the secondary co-operation education and training and members who were not attended in the secondary co-operation education and training, 2) there was no significant difference on the interest in entrepreneurship between active and passive members? participation, 3) there was a significant difference on the interest in entrepreneurship amongst members with high and low soft skills, 4) there was no significant interaction between secondary co-operation education and training and the members? participation towards the interest in entrepreneurship, 5) there was a significant interaction between secondary co-operation education and training and soft skills towards the interest in entrepreneurship, 6) there was a significant interaction between members? participation and soft skills towards the interest in entrepreneurship, 7) there was a significant interaction between secondary co-operation education and training, members? participation and soft skills towards the interest in entrepreneurship.Keywords: education and training, interest in entrepreneurship, member participation, soft skills
